Top Motivational Speaker Rocky Romanella Presents One Key Idea That Stands The Test Of Time To Establish Market Leadership - Values Matter

An inspirational keynote speaker and trainer, Romanella is founder and principal of 3SIXTY Management Services, LLC. He has over 40 years of leadership at Fortune 100's and is a leading expert in the development of leadership skills.

Google the phrase "companies that live up to values" and you will see the same names mentioned frequently - Netflix, Ikea, Airbnb, Southwest Airlines, Whole Foods and others.

While many of us believe it necessary to find a new idea, an untested, cutting-edge concept that can help us take our business to the next level, it is perhaps just as important to look back - to determine what it might be that is responsible for taking some businesses to the very top of their respective fields. Top motivational keynote speaker Rocky Romanella believes that, above all else, it is necessary that we understand one key idea that has stood the test of time – Why Values Matter. He recently has this to say:

"As I wrote my first book Tighten the Lug Nuts, my vision was simple: I wanted it to be a good read that was helpful and motivating. Additionally, my hope was that readers would see that it was relevant in more than the business world and section of the bookshelf. As I read the newspaper each day, watch the news and discuss current events with friends and family, it is clear to me that a core principle that I speak about in the book is more important in today’s world than ever before. Regardless of what section of the paper you read, politics, sports, business, or entertainment, in the United States or around the world, VALUES MATTER.

"Leadership is something we all have concerns about. Leadership is a concept that is not reserved for or only applies to certain people in business, government, or civic organizations. The reality is that no matter our age, gender, occupation, educational level, or position in life, each of us touches and influences other's lives. Through this extension we are all leaders to someone at some time. It can be a person under our supervision or care, a spouse we honor and live with, or a child we nurture, a student we teach or a player we coach. It could be as simple as a fellow member of our church or religious affiliation, club, league, or association, but it is usually identified by the fact we have made a positive difference through our actions and examples.

"Leaders live their values and set the tone from the top. Leadership is not a passive duty - it is an active responsibility. This means providing people with the leadership they need to successfully reach their desired goals in concert with those of the organization.

"Values are all about people and managing acceptable behavior. The truth is you’re going to have to work at whatever it is you hope to achieve in your life. But it’s how you face it that speaks to your character.

"Your true character is defined by your honesty of purpose. Your purpose is sacred and authentic. Honesty is what is at the core of your moral character. It is being trustworthy, loyal, fair, sincere and true, even when it is difficult to be. It is not only how you create your values, but also how you add value to the lives of others.

"It starts with creating a strong value system, which then must relate to your personal or professional mission and vision. Your personal brand. It must be a guide for all you do. It must align with your personal value system.

"In business, it should start with the people you recruit and hire. In your personal life it may be the people you choose to associate with as friends, business partners and acquaintances.

"For me this book was a tribute to a wonderful family, and it was written in grateful respect for an excellent career that I feel very fortunate and blessed to have lived, learned from, and experienced. It also gave me an opportunity to recognize and say thank you to two very influential people in my life, my dad, Pasquale, and my thoughtful, caring wife, friend, and partner, Debbie Romanella, affectionately known as 'the Hon.'

"As you go through the current events of the day, find those people to thank for their guidance and mentorship and take inventory of all those you have mentored, guided and inspired along the way. Some of you will be very proud, some of you need to get to work. It all starts with Your Values and Your Legacy."

The full text of all of the articles is available in the newsletter section at Romanella's website at https://www.3sixtymanagementservices.com/in-difficult-times-values-matter-the-most/

Books, Videos And Other Resources To Help Overcome Bullying, Anxiety And Depression Provided By Jody Sharpe, Award Winning Author Of Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder

Sharpe is the author of a number of award-winning books and videos for adults and children that can help readers and viewers find hope, inspiration and gratitude.

Anxiety, depression and hopelessness are major mental health challenges not only in the US, but worldwide. Here is America we are living in times in which the pandemic, political unrest, social upheaval and mass shootings headline nearly every media piece. It's no small wonder that we can so easily become anxious, depressed or lose hope. We need some good news for a change.

Award-winning author Jody Sharpe hopes to empower readers to find the good, the beautiful and the true. She does this by writing books, blogging, creating videos and writing screenplays that focus on constructive, life-affirming messages that encourage and support a positive outlook on life, without ignoring or denying the darker side of human nature.

Jody spreads her message in a number of ways. She has written a series of books about real life angels in everyday situations. She has written a children's book about angels interacting with children. Her latest book, ‘Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder’, centers on special needs children. She also accepts angels stories from the public for the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her blog. Her video channel brings all of this together, offering segments on all of these topics. One topic of special interest is bullying, specifically as it relates to special needs children.

'Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder' is a memoir based on her twenty-five years teaching children with special needs. The book placed second in the National Federation Of Press Women’s At-Large Communication contest. The book is as entertaining as it is illuminating. It’s a love story about the special students and others who over the years graced her life with just that, their grace.

With hearts of angels and challenges to face, the children took Sharpe along their journeys and inspired her own life’s journey of self-discovery. When sorrow came, their kindness helped her through. The synchronicity of events from high school to retirement changed her life for the better, turning her face toward heaven.

Midwest Book Review stated, "Sharpe's ability to see the good in circumstances and people identifies the 'special' in 'special needs' as she delineates her journey through the education system and those teaching and social encounters which changed her perspective and life.

"Teachers (especially those working with special needs kids) will find this spiritual and social reflection easily accessible. It's presented in vignettes which offer small, digestible bites of insight into a world where angels and kindness are present in more than one form."

‘Special Needs Children’ follows her recently released children's book about angels, ‘When The Angel Sent Butterflies’. The new book helps children understand that love from their parents and others surrounds them. Love conquers fear and believing that angels are near can help sweep any childhood fear away. This concept is presented in the book when Angel Ken sends Jones and Kate butterflies. The book, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, is now available at Amazon and Ingram.

On the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her site, Sharpe presents stories of real life encounters with angels. The stories are available at Sharpe's website at http://www.jodysharpe.com.

Sharpe recently announced a new release in time for Christmas, 2021. The new book, ‘Town of Angels Christmas’, features the same town and many of the characters from her previous book, ‘Town of Angels’.

Town of Angels - It is angel vs. bully in the town of Mystic Bay, California, where a well kept secret lies. Angels live as humans there. After angels appeared to three children all was blissful in the town full of psychics, and ordinary folk. But as a bully, Klaus Waxman, comes to town, Angel Ken Leighton, a storeowner, must carefully guide his flock of humans not to give to in to the bully’s efforts. As Klaus opens a store mocking the resident angels sightings, Angel Ken guides psychic Justine Greer and her family to thwart his efforts. And with the help of the indomitable oldest psychic in town, Madam Norma, the bully meets his match with soft voices and intuitive minds…

Midwest's review of 'Town of Angels' said, "Those who welcome the thought, appearance, and approaches of angels in everyday life will relish the positive notes, mystery, and problem-solving attitudes of angel and human alike in this gentle story of kindness, hope, belief, and resolving differences."

To Catch An Angel - Jody is also the author of 'To Catch An Angel', written in memory of her late husband Steve. In 'To Catch An Angel', miracles happen in Mystic Bay, California, the town with the psychic and angel vibe. Angels are calling. Psychic Maggie Malone returns home to find she's swept up in the miracle of it all. She can't imagine why her mother left or who her father might be. But these questions pale in comparison to the wonder of the angels. Maggie meets writer, Noah Greenstreet. They realize they've met before, but where? Maggie and Noah embark on a journey to find our world is all awash with angels.

The Angel's Daughter - A secret lies in Mystic Bay, California and only two people know it. First there’s Hannah, a tender curly headed half Angel Then there’s her father, Gabe, an effervescent, teddy bear of a full-blooded angel. And it’s up to Hannah to keep the secret safe but she’s made a colossal mistake telling her ex-boyfriend and writing professor, Sam Blakely. Now he’s written a book exposing the secret to the world.

Sharpe hopes to create a collection of angel stories that involve sightings of angels, interaction with angels, miraculous angel encounters and other types of accounts or stories. Everyone is welcome to submit angel stories. All submissions will be considered, but inclusion is not guaranteed. Stories may be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd.

In addition to the National Federation of Press Women’s award, Jody was chosen as a winner in the annual '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' Book Awards'. She was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors through a public voting process.

Jody Sharpe is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below, or by email at sharpejody76@gmail.com. Angel stories can be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd. All of her books are available at online book retailers. New quotes will be added every Tuesday to the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her blog, which can be found at her website at http://www.JodySharpe.com.

Profile:

Jody Sharpe had a rewarding career as a Special Education teacher. Writing about angels became healing after losing her daughter and then her husband. The valuable lessons she learned about moving forward and loving life in the now have set her on a mission to tell the stories with love, humor and spiritual awakening. The fictitious town of Mystic Bay has given her an avenue to put characters and themes together hopefully enlightening the reader towards contemplation of the precious life and memories we are given.

Award Winning Author Donna Fletcher Crow Discusses Sir Frances Drake Prayer, Announces New Historical Fiction Book And Upcoming Jane Austen Video

Crow writes meticulously researched, entertaining novels of romance, history, adventure and mystery in an engaging you-are-there style that allows readers to live the history. Reviewers have compared her work with PD James, Dan Brown and Barbara Pym.

In her most recent video "Jane Austen From Paradise To Portsmouth" Donna Fletcher Crow discussed the central role faith played in the lives of Jane Austen's naval brothers. This is also a paramount point in a blog available at her website focused on the Naval Prayer, traditionally attributed to Sir Frances Drake. The post was inspired by a talk she attended, given by Gordon Laco entitled "Life at Sea in the Royal Navy in Jane Austen's Time." Laco was Technical and historical advisor for the movie “Master and Commander” as well as for more than 60 other projects for movies and the BBC.

Crow said in a recent interview, “I was fascinated to learn of the great legacy of the Naval Prayer, attributed by strong tradition to Sir Francis Drake, and the historic role it played in the Royal Navy and later in the Royal Canadian Navy. It was particularly captivating when Gordon Laco took off his hat and pulled out the folded prayer he always wore there when serving as Captain aboard an historic vessel in the Royal Canadian Navy.

“The prayer was read every Sunday when Jane Austen’s two brothers, who both rose to the rank of Admiral, served in the Royal Navy during the Napoleonic wars. My research uncovered 2 other prayers, of somewhat shaky provenance, attributed to Drake. The Naval Prayer shared by Laco, however, is well known and very well respected, and is attributed to Drake in Navy history. I found the prayer and the tradition around it very moving and am delighted for this opportunity to make it known to a wider audience.”

Donna's new video series now has a second installment in production. In the new video, "Jane Austen From Paradise to Lyme Regis," Crow, (in the persona of Jane Austen), gives viewers a guided tour of Jane’s favorite seaside resort—Lyme (at that time not distinguished with the Regis title). “Jane” will read from letters she wrote to her sister Cassandra, describing a “delightful” time bathing and the assembly ball she attended, as well as her problems with the servants. She will read from her novel ‘Persuasion’, as she takes viewers to the Cobb, Captain Harville’s cottage, and other sites in her last completed novel before she went to Paradise.

Crow also announced a new edition of 'The Fields of Bannockburn’, Book One, The Celtic Cross Epics. This will be the first print edition in over a quarter of a century and will appear as an ebook for the first time. The book was chosen as Best Historical Novel 1996 by the American Federation of Press Women.

In 'The Fields of Bannockburn', three modern young people listen as the Scottish storyteller spins his tales of adventure, romance, and intrigue. While candles flicker and a Celtic harp sings its accompaniment, the question grips them: Can they find the answer to Scotland’s oldest secret?

The odyssey to uncover the mystery behind the Stone of Scone begins on the beautiful island of Iona where Saint Columba battles the druids to bring Christianity to the heathen Scots; the questions mount in ancient Caledonia while Kenneth MacAlpin battles Viking marauders and forges a new nation. Clues multiply on the storm-battered shores of the Firth of Forth, where the Saxon princess Margaret seeks refuge and then stays to initiate civility and renew faith. Finally, William Wallace lights the fires of freedom that Robert the Bruce finishes on the fields of Bannockburn.

Young Policemen Facing Constant Danger, Strife, Conflict And Uneasy Community Relations Are The Core Elements In Beat Cop CPOP 1986 By Ex-NYPD Officer Vincent Casale

Casale's new book presents a fictional account of the day to day experience of a New York City policeman assigned to the CPOP Unit, written by an NYPD police officer who was a part of the program in the 1980's.

From Dragnet to Mod Squad, NYPD Blue to Miami Vice, and from Jump Street to Law And Order, the film industry has for many decades tried to give us an inside look at how the police and their respective departments function. Shoot-em-up scenarios and wild car chases aside, these attempts are certainly entertaining, but seldom have movies or television shows managed to give us an unvarnished, in-your-face look inside the minds of the brave men and women who put their lives on the line daily to maintain order and the rule of law.

Facing endless danger, enduring conflict daily, and learning empathy or staying devoid of feeling, all the while while dealing with problems such as divorce, drinking and machismo sounds like the plot line of a great movie. It is instead subject dealt with in Beat Cop CPOP 1986 by ex-NYPD Officer Vincent Casale. Who better to show readers what it's really like than someone who lived the life day to day for decades?

CPOP-1986 is the tale of young New York City policeman assigned to the newly implemented Community Patrol Officers Program. The concept of CPOP was to advance police /community relations by putting the cop back on the beat, door to door, store to store. The male protagonists are flawed men, using unnecessary cynicism and hedonistic night-life adventures to shield their emotions. The female lead, Ann Caputo, is born wired to believe she can make a difference in a professional world dominated by male ego. Will that stay true when she can’t protect herself from a violent assault and the guilt that engulfs her?

Beat Cop has received rave reviews. One reviewer said, "The best compliment that i can give "CPOP 1986" is that the way it was so skillfully written by it's author Vincent Casale that it allowed me to WATCH this book, as opposed to just READING this book !! Make the purchase, you will not be disappointed." Another stated, "A great read written by retired NYPD Officer. Interesting, moving and realistic."

In 'Beat Cop CPOP 1986', Vincent Casale has drawn deeply on his personal experience, having been one of the first NYPD officers assigned to the unit.

Neither a detective novel nor a crime novel, Beat Cop CPOP-1986 is a revealing tale of young New York City policeman assigned to the newly implemented Community Patrol Officers Program. The concept of CPOP was to advance police /community relations by putting the cop back on the beat, door to door, store to store.

Casale is also the author of The Coparazzi, a memoir of his experience with celebrities while assigned to the NYPD's Movie and TV Unit from 1989 - 1992. During those years he worked on set with hundreds of celebrities, including Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Robin Williams, Hallee Berry, Cindy Crawford and many more.

The Coparazzi has received rave reviews from readers and reviewers alike. Ed Dee, retired NYPD Lieutenant stated, "This is not just another cop book. No way. In this well written and fast paced story Vincent Casale takes the reader behind the yellow tape of scores of movies and tv shows shot on the streets of NYC. From his unique perspective Casale shows the reader how it’s done and we see virtually every major actor in unguarded, off camera, and entirely human moments. The author writes with the infectious enthusiasm of a movie fan, but he sees with the clear eyes of a cop. A great combination, a great read.”

Vincent Casale is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at vcarazzi@outlook.com. Both books are available at online book retailers. Beat Cop CPOP 1986 is also available from Van Velser Press. More information is available at his website at https://thecoparazzi538162347.wordpress.com/.

About Vincent Casale:

Vincent Casale is a retired NYC police officer with 20 years of service. From the years 1989 through 1992 he worked in NYPD’s elite Movie-TV Unit. During that time he was privy to the exciting world of movie making on the streets of New York. A life-long movie fan, he was happy to be a small part of “Hollywood on the Hudson”.

WWII Planes, Engaging Characters And Pressure-Cooker Action During The Pacific Air War Featured In Riveting WWII Novel, Thanks For The Memories, By Author Tom Burkhalter

Tom Burkhalter writes dramatic stories in the tradition of James Jones, W.E.B. Griffin and C.S. Forester that share a no-nonsense view towards war and an attention to substance that is extraordinary.

Author Tom Burkhalter has announced the release of a new WWII novel, 'Thanks for the Memories: a Novel of the SW Pacific Air War July-September 1942'. The novel is Book 4 in the No Merciful War series.

Burkhalter is lauded for his ability to take readers back in time, placing them squarely into the very center of the action. Edge-of-the-seat airwar scenes are blended with technical and tactical details to create not just a great novel, but also an immersive experience. 'Thanks for the Memories' is available in Kindle, paperback and Kindle Unlimited versions.

All of Burkhalter's books are enhanced by a level of technical and historical detail that is unparalleled. He maintains a laser-sharp focus on providing the reader with an experience that will take them into the very heart and soul of WWII. In addition to James Jones, W.E.B. Griffin and C.S. Forester, his writing style has been compared to Louis L'Amour, David Baldacci and Vince Flynn.

In 'Thanks for the Memories', it is July 1, 1942. The United States has been fighting in the Pacific for nearly seven months. The Japanese advance halted west of Australia at the island of Timor, and from Timor the Japanese stage bombing raids on Darwin. In the north, the Japanese hold the former Australian possessions of New Ireland and New Britain, including the town of Rabaul in the north of New Britain. Holding Rabaul gives the Japanese possession of Simpson Harbor, a deep-water port that the Japanese turn into a formidable forward base, swarming with Zeros and antiaircraft weapons. Rabaul begins to earn an evil reputation among the bomber crews of the USAAF and RAAF who fly there.

In May the Japanese tried to take Port Moresby, the Allied base on the south coast of Papua New Guinea. They were turned back at the Battle of the Coral Sea. In June, the Japanese were soundly defeated at the Battle of Midway in the north Pacific. Both sides suffered losses but neither the Empire of Japan nor the Allies were close to being beaten. East of Salamaua and Lae on the western end of the Huon Gulf, the north coast of Papua New Guinea is a no-man’s land.

Jack Davis has been sent home, and Jimmy Ardana takes his place as Boxcar Red Leader. Charlie Davis and his crew continue flying missions in their increasingly worn and patched B-17E, Bronco Buster II.

Burkhalter has received rave reviews for all of his books. Harold Coyle, author of Team Yankee, said, "Brilliant! The books that are part of Tom Burkhalter’s ‘No Merciful War’ series are, without exception, rare gems that are entertaining, historically spot on, and a joy to read. Tom has not only created a cast of characters who are as real as the officers and enlisted men I have had the privilege of serving with, he leaves you wanting to see more of them. Even more impressive is his ability to succinctly depict the tactical and technical aspects of aerial combat. A must read for anyone interested in the Pacific War when victory was far from certain."

Another reviewer said, “Buy it, read it and tell everyone you know. Tom Burkhalter is as good as Clancy and Griffin.” Mark Lardas, writing in the Daily News of Galveston County, wrote of Everything We Had that it “feels like a book which could have been written in the 1950s or 1960s by a veteran of the Pacific War.”

Top 500 Reviewer Dee Arr said, "Mr. Burkhalter has an incredible command of airplane knowledge, and is able to describe how each plane works, the sights and sounds one would experience if flying the planes in the book, and even adds items that spice up the action, such as the height when the atmosphere begins to play havoc with the engine and may possibly cause it to stall. This is the author’s five-star element."

A seventh book in the series, working title Gomorrah, is in preparation. No release date as yet, but hopefully it will be available some time between August 31 and December 31 of 2021.

Other books by Tom Burkhalter include:

Everything We Had: a Novel of the Southwest Pacific Air War, November-December 1941

Japan surrounds American possessions in the Philippines with overwhelming force on three sides. The US Army desperately attempts to reinforce the Philippines garrison, but the armed forces of Imperial Japan may attack at any moment. Two brothers, Jack and Charlie Davis, are pilots in the US Army Air Forces. When they are sent to the Far Eastern Air Forces in the Philippines, they must depend on every ounce of courage, training, and skill they have to survive the coming war.

A Snowball’s Chance: a Novel of the Pacific Air War, January-February 1942

The victorious Japanese come south in overwhelming numbers, heading for the rich oil fields of Dutch possessions in Java and Borneo. The Allies send Jack and Charlie Davis and their friends, outnumbered and in obsolescent airplanes at the end of a long vulnerable supply line, to help the British and Dutch attempt to stop the Japanese Army and Navy. As the Dutch say, “Luck to the fighters!”

Boxcar Red Leader: a Novel of the Pacific Air War, May 1942

The Imperial Japanese Navy sails to invade Port Moresby, the last Allied base between the Japanese and Australia. It the Japanese take Port Moresby, Australia’s supply line to the United States will be cut. Jack Davis is sent to Port Moresby to command a flight of untrained young pilots flying a dangerous airplane no one wants, the P-39D Airacobra. Charlie Davis, now flying the B-17E Bronco Buster II, flies dangerous reconnaissance missions looking for the Japanese fleet. The Allies have lost the Philippines and Java. Can they hold Port Moresby?

The New Kids: a Novel of the Air War on the Home Front, September 1942

Jack and Charlie Davis have survived nine months of vicious air fighting. When they get home new challenges wait for them, challenges of long-deferred love, of living with memories, and the responsibilities laid on combat-proven pilots and leaders as new pilots arrive to train for a different air war over Europe. They survived the Pacific, but the war has only begun.

Shoestring's End: a Novel of the Pacific Air War, Dec 1942 - March 1943

Shoestring’s End begins as the disastrous year of 1942 ends. The Japanese toehold on the northern New Guinea coast, remnant of their advance almost to the gates of Port Moresby, has nearly been wiped out. The Japanese focus their efforts on reinforcing their forward base at Lae, on the Huon Gulf. The mission of the 5th Air Force is to cut off Lae. They must do this while fighting at the end of a shoestring, a supply line ten thousand miles long, using airplanes like the much-patched B-17E Bronco Buster II or the worn P-39D Airacobras of the 35th Fighter Group. New airplanes and new tactics arrive in an uncertain trickle. The Allied infantry, Australian and American, based in New Guinea, are exhausted from fighting and jungle diseases. If the Japanese reinforce Lae, the outcome of the war in the SW Pacific will remain unpredictable.

Tom Burkhalter is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at boxcarred3@gmail.com. All of his books are available at major book retailers. More information is available at his website at http://www.thomasburkhalter.com.

About Tom Burkhalter:

Tom Burkhalter was born in Georgia. His parents could never decide if the first word he ever said was “airplane” or “star”. He lives in Hickory, NC, where he volunteers at the Hickory Aviation Museum and pursues his omnivorous tastes in reading.
