Her last book, ‘Conflict and a Bit of Magic’, helps kids build self-esteem though reading the journal of a girl, identifying with the girl, and understanding they have more courage and resiliency than they thought they had. The book is based on the experiences of the already famous “girl” from 'The Truth, Diary of a Gutsy Tween' and 'Secrets, Diary of a Gutsy Teen', and achieved bestseller status in the multi-generational families category.

Dr. Holstein's cutting-edge presentations, most recently based on the Covid-19 pandemic issues, can be found on both YouTube, Vimeo and on the Roku channel and Amazon Fire TV, titled as 'The Enchanted Self Presents'.

Dr. Holstein recently created The Selfie Showcase, a new project emerging from The Selfie Project, that allows young people to voice their opinions on subjects that matter to young people, including the pandemic. The Selfie Showcase allows kids, teens, and young adults ages 13 to 18 to candidly express their concerns, worries, observations and possible solutions by creating selfie videos or films around important subjects using a smartphone. Dr. Holstein's mission is to help rectify, in several ways, some issues young people face by giving them a chance to engage with others in meaningful ways about the anxiety and stress they must grapple with constantly.

Selected participants may appear on the Selfie Project Channel, available on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3uaOTcYF70z5CpBh11VoUQ. Deeply Discounted Bestselling Christmas Book, Town Of Angels Christmas, Features Angels, Animal Rescue And Anti-Bullying Themes, Specially Priced For Holiday Gift Giving 2022

A former teacher, Sharpe has direct experience regarding the effect bullying has on children. She is the author of a number of award-winning books and videos that can help readers and viewers find hope, inspiration and gratitude

During the Christmas Season, what could be better than a bestselling Christmas book featuring an entire town of angels, who rescue a group of 21horses while teaching the town bully a lesson? Award-winning author Jody Sharpe hass announced that she is offering both the print and ebook versions of Town Of Angels Christmas: A Tale of Love and Animal Rescue at dramatically reduced pricing for the 2022 Holiday Season. Already a bestseller in the Holiday Fiction category, the book is certain to become a classic and will make an ideal gift for those who love angel stories, animal stories or just enjoy seeing bullies learn lessons in kindness.

A secret lies in Mystic Bay California. Angels live as humans there. Angel Ken, a storeowner, fears the secret will be revealed when vet, Jordana Hart, a woman with special healing abilities moves to town. Years before Angel Ken materialized as an old man, changing the course of her life.

Will Jordana recognize Angel Ken as the man from her past as they work together on a rescue mission to bring twenty-two horses to Mystic Bay before Christmas, will they see what lies before them, a Christmas story only the angels could write.

As Sharpe stated in a recent blog post, "Bullying is a theme in all my novels. In 'Town of Angel Christmas', the bully tries to prevent the sale of land proposed for housing future rescued wild horses. In the story, Angel Ken, who is secretly living a human existence, helps solve the issue by weaving his courage, wit and kindness, ultimately thwarting the bully’s efforts. In all my novels, the bully is taught a lesson in human kindness.

"It’s the same in our lives today. Whether, the bully ever learns his or her way to kindness depends on their own willingness to let goodness in. They can be influenced by the way other’s react to them.

"If we stand firm with kindness in our hearts, we will have the strongest shield of all. It’s a shield built of love, and angel lessons. Love is indeed a strength to be reckoned with. When I write, love and angels always win.

Sharpe's book have won numerous awards and many are bestsellers. Town Of Angels Christmas took Third Place Honors in the At-large division of the 2021 NFPW Communications Contest. The contest had entrants from 18 states, the District of Columbia and Spain.

The print book is reduced in price to $3.95 and the ebook to 99 cents through December 31, 2022. Both books are available at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Jody-Sharpe/e/B00DPL3382/ref=dp_byline_cont_pop_ebooks_1.

Other books by Jody Sharpe include:

To Catch An Angel - Jody is also the author of 'To Catch An Angel', written in memory of her late husband Steve. In 'To Catch An Angel', miracles happen in Mystic Bay, California, the town with the psychic and angel vibe. Angels are calling. Psychic Maggie Malone returns home to find she's swept up in the miracle of it all. She can't imagine why her mother left or who her father might be. But these questions pale in comparison to the wonder of the angels. Maggie meets writer, Noah Greenstreet. They realize they've met before, but where? Maggie and Noah embark on a journey to find our world is all awash with angels.

The Angel's Daughter - A secret lies in Mystic Bay, California and only two people know it. First there’s Hannah, a tender curly headed half Angel Then there’s her father, Gabe, an effervescent, teddy bear of a full-blooded angel. And it’s up to Hannah to keep the secret safe, but she’s made a colossal mistake telling her ex-boyfriend and writing professor, Sam Blakely. Now he’s written a book exposing the secret to the world.

20 Moon Road: An Angel's Tale, Book Five in the Mystic Bay Series, is now available. The latest book features a character from her Mystic Bay series, Madam Norma. Madam Norma is based on a woman who influenced Sharpe's life in a number of unforgettable ways.

Miracles still happen in the town of Mystic Bay California. Angels live as humans there. Angel Ken, a former football coach, is surprised when his late best friend, the indomitable psychic, Madam Norma, appears in spirit form and asks him to write the story of her life through her memories she will send him. Surprising to Angel Ken, Madam Norma saw thousands of angels since childhood.

Readers of the Mystic Bay Series who wish to start with the first book in the series can now access’ The Angel's Daughter’ on Kindle Unlimited. The book serves as a great introduction to Jody's concept of angels on earth.

'Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder' is a memoir based on her twenty-five years teaching children with special needs. The book placed second in the National Federation Of Press Women’s At-Large Communication contest. The book is as entertaining as it is illuminating. It’s a love story about the special students and others who over the years graced her life with just that, their grace.

With hearts of angels and challenges to face, the children took Sharpe along their journeys and inspired her own life’s journey of self-discovery. When sorrow came, their kindness helped her through. The synchronicity of events from high school to retirement changed her life for the better, turning her face toward heaven.

Midwest Book Review stated, "Sharpe's ability to see the good in circumstances and people identifies the 'special' in 'special needs' as she delineates her journey through the education system and those teaching and social encounters which changed her perspective and life.

"Teachers (especially those working with special needs kids) will find this spiritual and social reflection easily accessible. It's presented in vignettes which offer small, digestible bites of insight into a world where angels and kindness are present in more than one form."

‘Special Needs Children’ followed her recently released children's book about angels, ‘When The Angel Sent Butterflies’. The new book helps children understand that love from their parents and others surrounds them. Love conquers fear and believing that angels are near can help sweep any childhood fear away. This concept is presented in the book when Angel Ken sends Jones and Kate butterflies. The book, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, is now available at Amazon and Ingram.

In addition, on the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her site, Sharpe presents stories of real life encounters with angels. The stories are available at Sharpe's website at http://www.jodysharpe.com.

Sharpe hopes to create a collection of angel stories that involve sightings of angels, interaction with angels, miraculous angel encounters and other types of accounts or stories. Everyone is welcome to submit angel stories. All submissions will be considered, but inclusion is not guaranteed. Stories may be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd.

Sharpe's YouTube channel brings all of this together, offering segments on all of these topics. One topic of special interest is bullying, specifically as it relates to special needs children.

In addition to the National Federation of Press Women’s award, Jody was chosen as a winner in the annual '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' Book Awards'. She was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors through a public voting process.

Jody also announced recently that two new screen treatments of her books are now available: ‘The Angel's Daughter’ and ‘Town Of Angels Christmas’. Angelic presence on earth is the central theme of all the books in her Mystic Bay Series. The series is comprised of four books, the first of which, ‘The Angel's Daughter’, is now available on Kindle Unlimited.

Jody Sharpe is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below, or by email at sharpejody76@gmail.com. Angel stories can be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd. All of her books are available at online book retailers. New quotes will be added every Tuesday to the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her blog, which can be found at her website at http://www.JodySharpe.com.

Profile:

The valuable lessons she learned about moving forward and loving life in the now have set her on a mission to tell the stories with love, humor and spiritual awakening. Assisted Living: What You Need To Know Before You Make A Decision - Will I Be Bored In A Home For The Elderly By Frances Fuller, Bestselling Author Of Helping Yourself Grow Old

Best-selling author Frances Fuller offers a unique outlook on aging based on her own experience. Her insights are penetrating and deal with issues that many seniors and their families are concerned about. She offers an insider's view of assisted living.

A common fear of retirement, especially retirement in a home for the elderly, is the fear of boredom. What will we do all day in a place for old people, a place where we never have to mow the lawn or even vacuum the rug? A place where meals are provided and transportation to the doctor, and the hairdresser is just down the hall?

Will we watch television all day? Work endless crossword puzzles? Will the days be all alike? Long and boring?

Bestselling author Frances Fuller, who lives in a home for the aging, addressed this issue in a recent post on her website, describing her day, a day that was anything but boring."

It was a Tuesday, pile-on Tuesday for me here in the retirement home. The day the cleaning woman works on this hall. The day I have PT and my book club meets. Normally I am slow in the mornings, just because I like it that way (I think), but if the cleaning woman is coming, I need to get breakfast out of the way and pick up all the little things that are out of place. Her job description says she can’t touch my “things:” the little treasures, the notes to myself, the open mail. I have to put things away.

It is common knowledge and a male joke how much a woman works to get ready for the maid to arrive. Of course, I wouldn’t know except that I learned this a long time ago from the funny papers. Both Dagwood and I were astonished when Blondie explained that she was so busy “because the maid is coming tomorrow.”

I did my chores before I showered and then dried my hair in a bit of a hurry, and put away the dryer and my cosmetics, so Nina could clean my bathroom, too.

And then, barely here, with me barely dressed, Nina asked if she was supposed to change the bed, and I said,” Yes, I left it so you would know,” and she said, “but you didn’t put out the sheets.”

“They are in the closet,” I told her, “in the bag like they came from the laundry,” and she told me what I was supposed to know—that she couldn’t go into my closet, and the instructions said that I must put the clean sheets at the foot of the bed. So I got out from under this computer and rushed to the closet, noticing on the way that I had not put the brace on my arthritic knee and could hear bone scraping against bone, (because I actually had remembered to put my hearing aids where they belong).

While I went to my Physical Therapy appointment, Nina did a great job of everything and left me with a pristine kitchen and flawless floors and dirty sheets already in the bag that I must put out in the hall on the right evening so they will magically fly off to the laundry and back.

My therapist is wonderful. To be more specific she makes me do things I know I can’t do, and I have to admit that in a mere two weeks she has made my back stronger. However, when we finished our forty-five minute routine, I didn’t think I could walk down the hall to the next thing on my schedule, though from stubbornness I did. In fact, I had to because she walked with me, reminding me to hold my head up because it weighs ten pounds, and on the way she explained to me why my right knee is bending inward. (I didn’t tell her my suspicion that it is actually revenge for participating in the ridicule of that knock-kneed kid in my fourth grade class.)

While resting, I answered my email and revised two book recommendations that I thought I would need at a club meeting in the afternoon. Then I unplugged my laptop so I could take it to the back of my closet where my printer sits on a filing cabinet, and I made copies of the letter and the book reports.

I also wrote down a few leading questions I might ask the chaplain, because I agreed to interview him and write a report about all the programs he offers the residents here. (The editor of the residents’ monthly newspaper has discovered my claim to have been a journalist.)

Like that the hours disappeared and it was suddenly lunch time, and I was hungry, so I made a hasty turkey sandwich and nibbled the remains of a red pepper and a half eaten nut bar.

I wanted to be downstairs when a generous friend of mine arrived, bringing me a box of the sweet little tomatoes that are bursting out all over her vines, and I made it just as she was walking through the front door, and we had five minutes, during which I apologized that I could not invite her up to my apartment, silently wondering how anybody could believe that people in retirement homes don’t have time to be civil. It crossed my mind then that when I was a lot younger, like maybe 87, I imagined that life in the retirement home would be endlessly boring.

Then, because I dreaded to walk all the way back to my room only to return immediately, I took the box of tomatoes with me to Bible study. I actually had demonstrated some ability at forethought by bringing my Bible and notebook. We sat in a big square and read the farewell section at the end of the book of Romans, and the subsequent conversation alternated between the encouragement and instructions to the church in Rome and the news that the FBI had raided Mar-a-Lago, and our country is broken and bewildered and maybe dangerous. The others discussed all this and then prayed, dumping it all on God, while I scribbled notes about how to use all this in the story I had to write.

I had to hurry afterwards, down the long halls, past the room where four people were staring at their Mah Zongg game and the sound of chorus practice in the auditorium and into the elevator and back up to my apartment to leave my Bible and notebook and tomatoes and pick up the book I needed and those two recommendations for the reading group that was meeting in five minutes.

On the way I stopped for a few seconds to read the poster about that program on Alzheimer’s research scheduled for next week.

The book club meeting was a gathering of intellectual people who read to learn, and I just hoped I belonged there. As our leader talked about the kinds of books the group read last year, I wondered about the relationships between the books they had chosen and what the members had possibly done or not done when they were young, because my own proposal for this year is a book that has helped me to understand more completely a period of my own past. That made me realize how really challenging it might be to learn from all these people, MDs and university professors, journalists and soldiers, engineers and administrators. All of them my neighbors.

The entire text of the piece titled, "Will I Be Bored In A Home For The Elderly" is available at her website at http://www.francesfullerauthor.com.

Frances Fuller's book is unique among the many books on aging, because it is personal, while most such books are written from an academic point of view. Most are penned by sociologists, doctors, gerontologists, even the CEO of AARP, and one by a Catholic nun, Joan Chittister. Chittister's book, 'The Gift of Years' is beautifully written, focusing on spiritual values and finding meaning in life. Chittister admits in the preface that she was only 70, which is the front edge of aging, and her book is somewhat abstract.

Atul Gawande’s book, 'On Being Mortal', relates medicine and old age, It enjoys high Amazon rankings, in the category of “the sociology of aging.” It contains a great deal of valuable scientific information and shows understanding of the physical and emotional needs of the elderly.

Frances Fuller’s book, 'Helping Yourself Grow Old, Things I Said To Myself When I Was Almost Ninety', is an up-close and very personal encounter with aging. It is an uncontrived and firsthand look at her own daily experiences: wrestling with physical limitations, grief, loneliness, fears, and the decisions she has made about how to cope with these and keep becoming a better person. She faces regrets and the need to forgive herself and others and is determined to live in a way that blesses her children and grandchildren.

Frances deals with many common, universal but sometimes private issues in an open, conversational tone. Her confessions and decisions invite self-searching and discussion. She tries to make sense of her own past and to understand her responsibility to younger generations. In the process she shares her daily life, enriched with memories from her fascinating experiences. Her stories and her voice — fresh, honest, irresistible — keep the reader eager for more. The end result is a book that helps create a detailed map through the challenging terrain of old age.

The result of this intimate narrative is that readers laugh, cry and identify with her mistakes and problems. Reviewers have called the book, “unique,” “honest,” “witty,” “poignant,” “challenging” and “life-changing.”

For these reasons it is a book unlike any other book on aging you will ever read. The book can serve as a primer on what lies in store for all of us, from someone who is working through many of these issues. While the book is a perfect fit for book clubs, there are many other individuals and groups who could benefit from the information and ideas in the book:

Those approaching retirement
People who are currently retired
Children of aging parents
Those who have lost a spouse
Retirement community discussion groups
Counselors
Educators
Life coaches
Church groups (men and women)

and a host of others. For group discussions, Fuller has made a set of discussion questions available at her website at http://www.FrancesFullerAuthor.com.

Readers have lavished praise on the new book. One Amazon review stated, "I find myself thinking,'I need to read this again and take notes!' It’s full of wisdom, humor, and grace. I also have committed to rereading it annually - it’s that important!" Another said, "There is valuable life experience in this book. Helping Yourself Grow Old is truly is a book for all ages, and one not to be missed." Another stated, "Beautifully written book telling timeless truths, for both the old and the young. Highly recommend this book for anyone who loves to laugh, cry, and learn wisdom from someone who has lived so much life."

Frances' prior work, 'In Borrowed Houses', has taken three industry awards and has achieved Bestseller status. Frances Fuller was the Grand Prize winner in the 2015 '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' Book Awards. It received the bronze medal for memoir in the Illumination Book Awards in 2014. Northern California Publishers and Authors annually gives awards for literature produced by residents of the area. In 2015 'In Borrowed Houses' received two prizes: Best Non-fiction and Best Cover.

Critics have also praised ‘In Borrowed Houses.’ A judge in the 22nd Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards called 'In Borrowed Houses' “ . . a well written book full of compassion . . . a captivating story . . . ”. Another reviewer described the book as “Wise, honest, sensitive, funny, heart-wrenching . . .”. Colin Chapman, lecturer in Islamic Studies at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut said, “ . . . western Christians and Middle Eastern Christians need to read this story…full of remarkable perceptiveness and genuine hope.”

Frances has shared stories about her life in an interview with Women Over 70, and a recording is available on their Facebook page.

Frances Fuller is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at frances0516@att.net. The full text of her latest article is available at her website. Fuller's book is available at Amazon and other book retailers. A free ebook sample from 'In Borrowed Houses' is available at http://www.payhip.com/francesfuller. Frances Fuller also blogs on other issues relating to the Middle East on her website at http://www.inborrowedhouseslebanon.com.

Dr. Richard Ruhling Biblical is a prophecy expert and taught Health Science at Loma Linda University.

According to a number of online resources, America’s first Thanksgiving was actually celebrated in Virginia in 1619 as a religious ceremony.

“Early pioneers risked death at sea and from Indians or starvation for freedoms that we are losing, in a push for UN control,” Dr. Richard Ruhling, author on current events, said. “The world’s best-selling book, the Bible, has a dozen clues to the identity of the prophetic antichrist power that is impacting the US." He offers a number of points and reference support for those points on his website at https://wordpress.com/post/news4living.wordpress.com/847.

When Christ was asked about the end of the world, He said to read the book of Daniel. Daniel has an accurate description of empires for 2500 years to now. They include Babylon, Medo-Persia, Grecia and Rome that are represented by fierce beasts of prey—nations make men go to war and their deaths are so often needless.

1. Daniel’s 4th beast had 10 horns representing 10 tribes that roamed Europe as the Roman Empire fell. One of the horns was “diverse” or different because it was a religious power as the papacy came into existence.

2. The little horn had the eyes of a man—it saw life from a human perspective more than from Scripture.

3. It spoke “great words against the Most High.” One official title is ‘Lord God the Pope.’

4. Lucifer became the devil when he wanted to “be like the Most High”, but he was thrown from heaven to earth to demonstrate how his claim that God’s law was needless is true—but the world’s in a mess now.

5. Daniel’s little horn made war with the saints. Conservative historians estimate 50-100 million Protestants were burned at the stake or martyred—that’s why pioneers risked life to flee for freedom to the New World.

6. The little horn “thought to change times and laws.” The Gregorian Calendar got rid of the new moon as a sign of a new month—they have no correlation now, but it was a basis of God’s appointed times.

7. The papacy admits to changing the Sabbath to Sunday since Constantine, a sun-worshiper, made the first Sunday law to unite his kingdom and the pope blessed it, claiming apostolic tradition, but “the first day” of the week is only found once in the book of Acts--‘Sabbath’ is found nine times--“every Sabbath” three times.

8. Rome boasts of abolishing the Jewish festivals, but God calls them “My feasts” and Paul said they “are shadows of things to come,” so that end time events may be signaled to those who are watching.

9. Revelation has half a dozen clues that only fit the papacy in the 17th chapter as the Mother Church—“Mother of Harlots and Abominations” for churches that no longer protest her changes to the Bible.

10. Christ said, “Call no man father” and no where does the Bible teach us to pray to dead saints. It says, “the living know they shall die, but the dead know not anything”. The church teaches that departed loved ones are in purgatory (a word not in the Bible) and payment must be made to pray them out.

11. Payment made to forgive sins cheapens the death of Christ and they pay again the next week, with no true repentance for sin or change in the life. Nevertheless, there are many fine Catholic Christians who live the best that they know and God “winks in times of ignorance” since the church teaches catechism, not Bible. Peter said we must repent in times of judgment. As the head of gold in Daniel, judgment comes to US first.

12. Revelation calls the harlot riding the beast of New World Order, “Mother of Abominations”. God punished Sodom for an abomination that the pope excuses --half the priests practice sodomy, according to a priest that Ruhling says he befriended 50 years ago.

There are half a dozen more biblical reasons for the papacy being the antichrist power, but time and space are limited. We should appreciate fine Catholics like JF Kennedy who declined to do Rome’s bidding. After telling of his intent to abolish the Federal Reserve that sends millions to the Vatican Bank, he was dead a week after speaking against secret societies. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSspwAE-uRI)

Leaders of the Pentagon have been members of those societies. After DOD (Donald Rumsfeld) announced $1.2 trillion missing, it never made headlines. The next day, 9-11, a missile hit their accounting offices. Later it was said to be an airplane.

Archbishop Vigano is an example of true greatness and protest against his church. https://www.lifesitenews.com/images/pdfs/Open_Letter_to_POTUS.pdf.

The UN is the road to papal supremacy, with so many Catholic nations that will vote the pope’s agenda. The UN is the image beast (image of the papal beast in Revelation) that will enforce false worship so no one can buy or sell without a mark or number of compliance. The Vatican (a word that means ‘diving serpent’) worships Lucifer, https://youtu.be/Hpn3F6TrbEY and in return, the devil gives power and authority to the beast that is an amalgamation of Daniel’s beasts (kingdoms) which the papacy has survived. This time of year, giving thanks is one of the truest forms of worship, worth-ship. Giving worth or gratitude to God is true religion.

These are all reasons why Revelation calls everyone to come out of spiritual Babylon (a word that means confusion) so we do not receive the plagues that will be coming as a result of false systems of education, government, religion and medicine (pharmakeia is the Greek word that “deceives all nations”).

Alcohol And Drug Addiction – New Collector’s Edition Of Miracles Of Recovery Announced By Best Selling Author Harriet Hunter, Just In Time For The Holidays

Harriet Hunter's award-winning, bestselling book became the first-place recipient of the coveted President’s Award in nonfiction from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association. Miracles features 365 powerful daily inspirations from a holistic view of recovery.

Bestselling author Harriet Hunter has announced that her award-winning, bestselling book, Miracles of Recovery, is now available in a special collector’s edition, just in time for the holidays. The e-book version of the book will be available at no charge on Amazon December 5 through December 7, 2022.

The updated version of the book features 365-daily inspiration that has helped thousands of people in recovery.

No matter who you are or where you are, no matter your status or position, you can recover. Alcoholics and drug addicts need support and they need tools. The support is in place, in every segment of our society, as are the necessary tools.

Harriet Hunter's bestselling book, Miracles of Recovery, is one such tool. Featuring 365-daily inspirations. Miracles of Recovery was written not just for those addicted, but for the parents, the spouses - anyone touched by the disease, because addiction is a family affair. Using the foundation of 12-Step Recovery, Miracles of Recovery embraces holistic suggestions as a practical approach for those who must face life on life’s terms, clean and sober. Encouraging and thought-provoking, Miracles of Recovery inspires with Universal Truths, “Because,” Harriet says, “once we know better, we do better.”

“With enough willingness, Miracles of Recovery has the power to change the way we think through association and implementation of exercises and suggestions, Hunter stated. “When we change the way we think, our actions follow. Each day's message encourages us to open our hearts to the unlimited possibility of hope and self-worthiness, courage, and recovery. One day at a time, one page at a time, we will transform ourselves, becoming the person we have always wanted to be.

“Many of you continue, as part of your daily ritual, to enjoy Miracles of Recovery. If I’m speaking to you, I hope you will find the enhanced versions of these passionate 365-daily reads even more inspiring.

“The new Collectors Edition is the gift that answers a need to understand and support those we love and care for in and around the rooms of recovery. Miracles of Recovery brings to the heart of every user, to evaluate where their feet are just for today and to make tough but necessary decisions about the path they are on. It is written by someone who has experienced the same self-loathing, the same despair, someone who still lives the daily journey that is recovery.”

Harriet offers a personal, sometimes raw, reflection of the truth about addiction seldom seen elsewhere. She uses examples, based on experience, as to how many can achieve long-term sobriety by embracing new behavior and positive reinforcement.

The author spurs the reader to embrace the belief that, regardless of challenges life presents, “NOTHING can change the course of recovery when you keep yourself, your sobriety, and your Higher Power first in your life.” In short, Miracles of Recovery offers hope where there is none through a simple program of actions for complicated people.

The new edition is available at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Harriet-Hunter/e/B07JR632FX?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1667512852&sr=8-1. The e-book version of the book will be available at no charge on Amazon December 5 through December 7, 2022.

Substance abuse issues have been on the increase, primarily due to the overwhelming effects of a global pandemic. The National Institute of Alcohol and Alcohol Abuse mentioned in 2018 that 88,000 people die each year to alcohol-related deaths. They go on to say that globally, alcohol misuse was the fifth leading risk factor for premature death and disability in 2010. Now these statistics look even more dire with the onslaught of the pandemic effect: premature death, isolation, job loss and so much more.

While there are many treatment approaches and programs, what is common to successful individuals who find themselves within a substance abuse program is the shared pain and the loneliness, often with an ongoing support system for the person battling the disease. That support system is what Harriet Hunter offers in “Miracles of Recovery: Daily Meditations of Hope, Courage and Faith.”

Hunter continues to receive rave reviews for her work from readers and reviewers alike. Vernita Taylor of Readers Favorite stated, “Miracles of Recovery: Daily Meditations of Hope, Courage, and Faith by Harriet Hunter is a great choice if you’re struggling with addiction because it offers a full year of inspiration and affirmations which I enjoyed. I see this book as a mentor or sponsor that is walking by your side and helping to lead you to a better, more improved you while teaching you how to deal with your stressors. The best teacher is someone who has been there and done that, and this book doesn’t disappoint. The author knows first-hand what it takes and how it feels to be addicted. If you need help along your journey, pick up a copy of this book; it’s highly recommended.”

Melanie Barton Bragg, Licensed Holistic Psychotherapist said, “Harriet shares her journey of grief, loss, and eventually arriving at a place of peace. We are privileged to have an inside look at how she has and is recovering. This daily meditation guide provides thought-provoking ideas to meditate on throughout the day and has been useful as discussion starters in my therapy groups. The usual 12-step daily meditation books have been in print for decades. This book is a refreshing addition to the standard recovery tools.”

Anthony Capozzolli of Dismantled Life Podcast said, “Miracles of Recovery has been a feast for my recovering soul. Every page is filled with love and helpful insights that lead to discovery. I read each page by date and randomly turn to other pages for an additional spiritual hug when I need one. It’s almost as if Harriet wrote her wonderful book for me. Page after page hits so close to home I often tear up from positive awareness and clarity of emotion.” Readers can find more 5-Star reviews from others on Amazon.

Miracles of Recovery received the first place President’s Award in nonfiction from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association.

Since her walk into recovery in 1999, Harriet has had one primary purpose: to show others how they can find hope and achieve their miracles while staying sober with a vision and determination to never go backwards, one day at a time.

Using her experience strength and hope, Harriet strives to be a conduit of hope and encouragement to others in their addictions, by showing them what continues to work for others. With practical tools, principles and promises as found in A.A., and other 12-step programs, she mirrors examples of how anyone can be free from the bondage of self, regardless of their situation.

With each purchase of a personalized autograph copy of Miracles of Recovery from her website, Hunter provides a no-charge copy of her e-book, "Your Daily Reprieve; How To Maintain Long-Term Sobriety Serenely Just For Today" in PDF format.

Details are available at her website at https://harriethunter.org/product/miracles-of-recovery-autographed-paperback-2/. All of her books are available at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Harriet-Hunter/e/B07JR632FX?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1668523622&sr=8-1.

Award Winning Romantic Fiction Novelist Rusty Blackwood Announces Release Of New Romantic Fiction Novel, Return To Autumn, Part One

The new book is the follow up to her widely praised romantic fiction novel, The Perils of Autumn.

Romantic fiction author Rusty Blackwood has announced the release of her latest romantic fiction novel, Return to Autumn, Part One.

The new book is the long-awaited two-part sequel to the 5-star, multi-award-winning, romantic fiction drama, The Perils of Autumn, It picks up four years later, and sweeps readers back to the often-perilous life at Landon Lawns Stables. It is now April 1976, and life in Landon Manor has carried on for Autumn Leeves-Landon, and her mature husband, Cyril, along with their young daughter Abby, and their astute, devoted housekeeper and friend, Agnes Harris.

Life in the Thoroughbred stables has also carried on for head groom and trainer, Manfred Montgomery, and stable foreman, William Brown, as they continue their ongoing quest to bring Duff Taylor, Landon Lawns’ exclusive jockey, to justice for suspicious involvement in an unsolved racing incident from his past. However, Duff has managed to add to his growing page of secrets, that of which is about to be revealed within these exciting pages.

“I cannot begin to express the levels of excitement and joy I feel in announcing the anticipated, long-awaited release of Return to Autumn, the first book in the 2-part sequel to my celebrated romantic fiction drama, The Perils of Autumn,” Rusty Blackwood stated “With the continuous uncertainty of the last two years, it has been a difficult road in the world of self-publishing for many authors, and that includes me. But all of that is finally behind me, and I can now concentrate on what I love to do. This first book in the two-part sequel to The Perils of Autumn carries on the often perilous life of Cyril Landon’s celebrated Thoroughbred racing stable, and the many setbacks along its course, and this includes the shady life of jockey Duff Taylor as his secrets continue to grow. It is my sincere hope that readers and followers of the often-suspenseful Perils of Autumn story, will be thoroughly entertained, and enthralled as they move forward within the pages of Return to Autumn.”

The new book has received rave review from readers and reviewers alike.

"I cannot say enough good things about Return to Autumn. I strongly urge you to put this on the very top of your reading list; it will not disappoint." – 5 stars – Trudi L.

"Has all the right components for a Hallmark movie." – 5 stars – Readers Favorite Books

For the previous book in the series, The Perils Of Autumn, Blackwood was named as a finalist in the Fiction Romance category by International Book Awards in the 2019 International Book Awards, the 10th annual awards program. She was also named a finalist in the American Book Fest's 2019 awards program in the same category. The book also received a 5-star rating from Reader's Favorite.

The first book in the series, The Perils Of Autumn, set primarily in the early 1970’s, centers on a young Kentucky woman. Autumn Leeves is born in 1946 to Abigail Leeves, an unwed mother who struggles to make ends meet. Shunned by society of the time, mother and daughter find themselves in peril until they meet a kind old shopkeeper who takes them in.

By 1970, Autumn graduates nursing school and is sent on assignment by the local hospital to care for the terminally-ill wife of middle-aged English equestrian master, Cyril Landon. Landon is the owner of Landon Lawns Stables, successful Thoroughbred racing stable located just outside Lexington, Kentucky. Duff Taylor, world renowned jockey lives full-time at Landon Lawns and enjoys the many benefits it brings. Duff has a dark secret surrounding an unsolved racing incident from his past that he will go to any length to protect.

Autumn arrives at Landon Manor in time to be thrown into the fray, and finds herself caught in the ongoing disruption that ensues. Cyril and Autumn find themselves attracted to each other, but their ensuing romance is plagued by those trying to stop it, but they rise above it and marry. However peril again knocks at the door when Abigail suddenly dies, leaving a pregnant Autumn to mourn her loss while fighting to not miscarry her baby who is born through a perilous birth.

Reviewers have also lavished praise on 'The Perils Of Autumn'. Ray Simmons said, "Romance and good writing come together perfectly in Rusty Blackwood's 'The Perils of Autumn'. A great read." Trudi LoPreto said, "This book has it all and more. Please do not pass up 'The Perils of Autumn' - you will not be sorry."

Blackwood's previous 5-star rated romantic fiction novel, 'Willow's Walk', followed the release of 'Passions in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary'.

Willow's Walk:

Willow's Walk' is a gripping tale that holds readers captive from the very first page. Set in the beautiful city of Ottawa, Canada in 2003, this touching story centers on the life and times of a woman determined to prevail at all costs, regardless of what is set before her, the result of which is certain to leave the reader reeling in its wake.

'Willow's Walk' also received a number of 5 star reviews from professional reviewers. Maria Beltran stated, "I highly recommend this book." Gisela Dixon said, “I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the life of a person presented in such a wonderful manner." Another said, "Brutally honest. I was touched by the bittersweet conclusion that sometimes purpose and happiness are only found through great tragedy ..."

Passions in Paris:

Blackwood's first romantic fiction novel is a sweeping saga written in the tradition of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and 'What Dreams May Come'. It has been compared to Erich Segal's 'Love Story' and Nicholas Sparks' 'The Notebook'.

'Passions in Paris' likewise received rave reviews. Linkk Kula Kane said, "Passions in Paris I think stands its ground with these other powerful romantic stories like 'The Notebook' by Nicolas Sparks." Reader Fred Pifer stated that “'Passions', is a fascinating book of a love story that seemed to be written with me in mind. In the book 'Love Story' by Erich Segal, he told of a deep abiding love story that reminds me of Cullen and Joy’s in Ms. Blackwood’s book, but the twists of intrigue and mystery that she adds keeps the reader on edge throughout."

Information on all of Blackwood's work is available at Blackwood's site. Readers can download paperback and Kindle versions of her books at Amazon sites worldwide, including Amazon.ca.'Rusty Blackwood, A 3 Part Retrospect' is available at her website and on Youtube.

Choosing Gratitude Is The Key To Finding Joy During Difficult Times Says Louise Pistole, Best Selling Author Of Discover Your Joy

Pistole’s bestselling book, Discover Your Joy, also received Honorable Mention in the San Francisco Book Festival and placed in the BookFest Book Awards

For some people it’s not easy to find joy today. The headlines scream at us about US political unrest, social divisions, mass shootings, hurricanes, floods, war in Europe, inflation in the US, RSV, Covid – the list is endless. Where is the joy in all of that? Surprisingly, right under our noses. And bestselling author Louise Pistole can show us how to find it.

“Life has its ups and downs, but sometimes challenging events occur all at once. When our world is turned upside down, it’s normal to feel a lack of joy.

“Most adults will experience multiple severe traumas and losses throughout their lives. Loss of joy in these contexts is a natural part of the human experience.

“For some people, however, the lack of joy persists or appears out of the blue. This may occur in a mood disorder like depression.” – Stephanie Collier, MD, MPH, Contributor to Harvard Health Publishing, Harvard Medical School.

Pistole says, “During these stressful times, I encourage others to look for ‘moments of joy’ in everyday places in your day. Hold onto these moments and commit them to memory. Remembering and reliving even small moments will bring you back to your joyful center.

“Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be filled with joy. Even on tough days when you’re struggling, you have the ability to find your own joy. You just have to make a conscious decision to turn your day around.

“Remember, you are the master of your own joy!

Choosing Gratitude is your pathway to Choosing Joy!

“If you can find a few moments every day to express gratitude, you will soon see your life make a change in a positive direction. As simple as this idea is, it is also sometimes difficult to be grateful when everything in your life seems to be packed full of negativity.

“One of the simplest ideas is to say ‘thank you’ every morning as soon as you wake up. You can follow up with a few things you are grateful for which increases the gratitude in your heart. But just saying those two words, ‘thank you,’ will definitely start your day off on solid footing.

“Gradually ease yourself into writing a gratitude list in a journal. Don’t overthink it. Just write whatever comes to mind.

“This is also a good time to get your kids involved with gratitude. Teach them to say ‘thank you’ for any blessing, large or small, that comes their way.

“As you begin to make gratitude a habit, you will find that the more grateful you are, the more good things will come your way.

“This simple habit of being grateful is truly your pathway to joy.

Hope Anchors Your Soul

“Joy doesn’t simply happen. You have to intentionally ‘choose joy,’ and you have to choose to be joyful every day. It comes from a light deep within your soul. Joy really is a state of mind.

“How do you reclaim your JOY when you’re struggling with a tough day or situation? Start by refusing to let negative thoughts take root in your mind, then choose a better feeling activity.

“Hope is being positive under circumstances that are considered to be desperate. It is during the storms of our lives that we need to maintain our positive thoughts and cling to hope.

“Hope can heal the hurt or pain deep inside of you. It allows you to see the light even on the darkest days. It gives you courage, determination, and perseverance to cope and move forward. Your current problems seem less difficult to bear as you follow your beacon of hope.

“Through gratitude, positive thoughts, and hope, joy can be yours.”

Moving from anxiety, depression, or trauma to living a life of joy may seem impossible. How does one actually live a life filled with joy? Author and motivational speaker Louise Pistole has discovered the key to doing just that. She gives us that key in her best-selling book, 'Discover Your Joy: Daily Splashes of Inspiration for Living an Abundant Life of Happiness, Blessings, and Inner Peace'. It is a book unlike any other you will ever read.

While many of us believe that happiness is found at the end of some long, arduous process, it is instead that we begin from a state of joy. Some of us have it backwards. Joy is not a reward - it is a choice. And because it is a choice, it is something over which we hold total control. That choice can be made now - today.

Many of us feel hopeless and joyless. Perhaps our intentions are out of alignment with our actions. Surprisingly we can live in joy every day of our lives, but again - it is a choice.

"I made my choice one Sunday morning about 12 years ago when my minister spoke about being joyful and watching out for joy-stealers," Pistole stated. "His message resonated with me and I began my journey to joy through reading, studying, and writing. As I began choosing joy day after day, it gradually became a habit in my life. Now my mission is to guide others to discover their own joy through these daily inspirational readings."

In Discover Your Joy, readers will:

• Enjoy daily inspiration for happiness and joyfulness,
• Learn how to live an abundant life filled with gratitude, hope, and joy,
• Discover inner peace through encouraging words,
• Discover how to become a Joy-Fanatic and enjoy one's best life.

A quick inspirational read every morning helps readers discover ‘moments of joy’ each day. Chock full of encouragement and motivation, readers will learn to seek and experience gratitude, hope, and true joy.

Readers and reviewers alike have praised 'Discover Your Joy'. One said, "Each page in "Discover Your Joy" is a simple and beautiful reminder that the world may not be perfect, there will always be the ups and the downs, but we have the ability to CHOOSE each day how we will use this gift we call life. I highly recommend this book!!" Another stated, "Pistole gives great insight into ways to remind us that our joy is important and to beware of “joy stealers”. This book is a great way to start your mornings with a great cup of coffee and to discover your joy each and every day!"

Louise Pistole is available for media interviews and speaking engagements and can be reached using the information below or by email at pistole9@gmail.com. 'Discover Your Joy: Daily Splashes of Inspiration for Living an Abundant Life of Happiness, Blessings, and Inner Peace' is available in several formats at Amazon and other book retailers. Award-winning, bestselling author Donna Fletcher Crow recently presented a talk titled "Jane Austen In London With The Dashwoods" for the Jane Austen Society of North America Annual General Meeting held In Victoria, British Columbia. A dedicated Janeite, Crow took things to the next level by delivering her presentation in the persona of Jane Austen, wearing a replica of a Jane Austen outfit.

As Crow stated in a recent blog post, "All Jane Austen devoted fans want to know more about her and what she looked like. Little wonder then, that there has been so much interest—and controversy—created by newly emerged portraits declared to be authentically Austen."

“Like all avid Janeites, I had been interested over the years in newly-discovered portraits declared by some to be of Jane Austen. I had never considered taking a position in the on-going debates, however, until my granddaughter and I found ourselves ‘living’ two of the most prominent representations.

“The experience of portraying the portraits was much like getting inside a character I’m developing for a novel, whether an historic or fictional person. It’s all based on meticulous research and careful observation of the smallest details until, slowly, one comes to realize you know what that person thinks, what they would do or say.

“It was the same for me with the Byrne and Rice portraits I experienced in preparing for my presentation for the Jane Austen Society of North America conference in Victoria, BC. Hours spent scrutinizing every detail of the portraits and every known description of Austen led me to a firm position and to feeling like I know the beloved author better. I hope my conclusions can help readers to a better understanding of her wonderful books.”

Dr. Richard Ruhling Believes Muslims Should Stop Jihad Till Spring 2022, As Their Taking Jerusalem Will Show Bible As True Holy Book

Dr. Richard Ruhling Biblical is a prophecy expert and taught Health Science at Loma Linda University.

According to Richard Ruhling, some Rabbis lament that 90% of Jews in Israel have no interest in their spiritual heritage. They came for free land, but it was premature, says Ruhling, author on current events and prophecy. He cites Moses that God would punish them seven times over if they walked contrary to him, and Ezekiel’s fourth chapter shows they did so for 390 years.

390 x 7 is 2730 years. Sennacherib took Israel into exile in 722 BC. 2730 years comes to 2009, but in 2009, Pope Benedict went to Jerusalem and followers of Y’shua understood Rome as a sign to flee—they fled Jerusalem when Cestius came and were spared the siege by Titus, 70 AD. The Messiah’s warning could spare Jews now.

Ruhling reasons that God is going to let Muslims take Jerusalem from unbelieving Jews at Passover next spring, as when Titus’ siege began. Passover is when God “executed judgment” on Egypt and Jews will understand that timing. But Y’shua’s followers should see Messiah’s warning for judgment (Passover) a month later because he said it would be--

1. “As the days of Noah,” the Flood came with Passover timing, but in the 2nd spring month.
2. Also, in his parable of 10 virgins, he said it’s like a long journey. If Israelites took a long trip and couldn’t get back to Jerusalem for Passover, they were to keep it a month later.
3. That Master who takes the long journey was Messiah who upheld Moses’ law “till heaven and earth pass” and His return for a time of judgment will conform to His law of a long journey, judgment at 2nd Passover.

Muslims will celebrate their mosque that has an inscription—“Allah has no Son.” Suddenly (at 2nd Passover) “the Lord shall roar from Jerusalem…the earth shall shake” (Joel 3, verse 16) and Muslims will flee.

Muslims should remember that Cyrus, king of Persia who conquered Babylon was so impressed with Israel’s God that he let Israel return to their homeland and even helped pay the cost. Why? Because 100 years before Cyrus was born, God named Cyrus and told how he would conquer Babylon when two river gates were left open in Isaiah’s 45th chapter. Cyrus diverted the Euphrates River and marched under the wall to take Babylon with no loss of life and we need to be more respectful of human life today.

So when Muslims take Jerusalem and a huge earthquake occurs May 5/6, they will flee and the Bible will be seen as the true holy book, with writings of Moses and Y’shua by events foretold thousands of years before they happened.

God will hold Muslims who take the lives of Christians responsible. He can forgive them if they repent and ask Him. This is why Muslims should stop killing Christians and wait for events next spring, when President Erdogan of Turkey has appealed for a siege of Israel and 2023 fits other Bible timelines.
