Steve Snyder, Award Winning Author Of Military Aviation Book 'Shot Down', Announces June 2018 Events And Book Signings

'Shot Down' has received 28 industry awards. Snyder's father was shot down over Europe during WWII. 'Shot Down' is a dramatic retelling of the stories surrounding that event. The book was recently placed on the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Recommended Book List.

Multi-award winning author Steve Snyder, author of 'Shot Down', has announced his events lineup for June 2018. 

Snyder's father Howard was a B-17 pilot who was shot down while flying the Susan Ruth (named after his daughter) while flying over the French/Belgium border. The mission set out to bomb Frankfurt, Germany. The book covers the events leading up to and following that day. Of the 10 man crew, some died, some were captured and some, including Howard Snyder, evaded capture.

Biblical Prophecy Expert Richard Ruhling Believes Judgment Is Impending On Southern California And The US As Government Plans 'Drill’

Ruhling cites World Net Daily as saying a number of agencies are prepping Arizona for an exodus of 400,000 in a major quake that bears the message, fear God; it’s judgment time and the bridegroom comes

The Arizona Department of Emergency has been planning this week’s National Mass Care Exercise for nearly a year in connection with FEMA. A recent article on NBCLosAngeles.com entitled, "Arizona Is Planning For Exodus to State in Event of Major Calif Quake" provides the details (https://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/Arizona-Planning-Exodus-California-Quake-483043701.html). But the record of ‘coincidences’ when drills become the real thing means people in California ought to prepare, especially with timing that fits Bible prophecy regarding May 31, says Dr. Richard Ruhling, author of 'The Alpha & Omega Bible Code'.

He says an earthquake is encoded in Revelation as a lion’s roar. “The Lord will roar…the earth shall shake,” Joel 3:16. He is the Lion of Judah, Rev 5:5. Earthquake is also encoded as a knock for the church of Laodicea, Revelation 3. Historically, that church ended in an earthquake in 63 AD, but “history repeats” and Laodicea means “people judging”- laos and dicea-decree.

The Bible describes that church as focused on material things like western Christianity today, and the earthquake will end that focus as it initiates the end-time “day of the Lord” (Joel 2:10,11) and the trumpet plagues of Revelation 8:5,6 will follow, says Ruhling who explained further.

"The apostle Paul wrote that 'day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night when they shall say, Peace and safety, sudden destruction comes.' 1Thess 5. The UN included the words ‘Peace and safety’ in their theme for 2017."

"The biblical end-times are like a harvest of grain, but the question from Christ’s teaching is, 'Will we be wheat or tares (weeds)'? Coming events will draw people either toward God or drive them away from Him, depending on our understanding—is God good, wise, also merciful to forgive our sins if we repent, even helping us live well?  We need to see that He is all this and more with a provision for our salvation in spite of woes and ‘beast’ powers in Revelation."

"On the other hand, God’s judgments will drive away those who are bent on doing life their own way with no interest in repentance. Millions will die as the end-times of Revelation unfold."

"The good news is a parallel time to when God 'executed judgment' on Egypt and took Israel to a covenant by which they became His kingdom and bride. Egypt killed babies; the US has aborted 60 million. Egypt enslaved Israel. The US has enslaved most people in alcohol, tobacco, drugs, food, fashion, fiction, greed, music, TV, violence, etc."

"In the economic collapse that will follow the earthquake, the gods of many will disappear, but the best destiny is for those who are ready and seeking a covenant relationship like Israel had when they became God’s kingdom in Exodus 19. This is the 'gospel of the kingdom' that has not been understood, and which most people are not ready for."

"The three wedding parables all show a sudden calamity beyond which there is no time to get ready. The midnight cry in Matthew 25 was an echo of calamity in Egypt (Exod 12:29,30) when Israel was ready with 'loins girded' (Exod 12:11), ready to leave Egypt as people in southern California may need to leave, imagery in the wedding parable, Luke 12:35-37. If I lived in Southern California, I would withdraw bank money and head to a small town in Arizona with my computer and valuables."

"The ‘knock’ in verse 36 is the earthquake like the Laodicean Church ended and the timing is Passover also seen by clues of ‘watch’ (vs 37)—Passover was the only night that being awake was required (Exod 12:10; Matt 26:38-41) But Passover is past, why May 31?"

"Christ’s last seven parables ALL fit a provision in biblical law for Passover a month later, 'as the days of Noah' when the Flood came in the 2nd spring month, Gen 7. After Christ cited Noah, 'THEN (same time) shall…one be taken, the other left- Matt 24:37-40."

"When women missed the wedding, Christ said, You don’t [understand, Greek word eido] because it’s like a man traveling to a far country. Israelites didn’t travel in winter, and if they took a long journey in spring and couldn’t get back for Passover, they kept it the 2nd month, Numbers 9:10,11; Matthew 25:13,14. That clue links the last two parables."

"Rome changed the Bible’s calendar so that the new moon has no relationship to the new month and they celebrated Easter (and Jews celebrated Passover) a month early at the end of March, but the new moon that started the month came in winter before the equinox. The end of April was the biblical time for Passover. Wednesday night, May 30 is the eve of 2nd Passover."

"Churches should be open to celebrate communion, encouraging members to 'watch and pray' as Christ said. And if He ‘knocks’ with an earthquake, we 'open unto Him immediately' with the wedding feast of betrothal so that He doesn’t get an ignorant bride as God got at Sinai."

"Since Passover includes the 7-day Feast of Unleavened Bread that Christ initiated at the Last Supper (imagery in the wedding parable, Luke 12:37) we should keep that feast if there’s an earthquake, but not with communion wafers. Christ said, 'Beware the leaven of the Pharisees', speaking of their teachings. Church leaders have leavened the Bread, skipping Passover, etc."

"For the 7 days of unleavened teachings, there are 7 topics that have a 7-fold emphasis in the Bible. For example, Christ said before He comes, Elijah 'must first come and restore all things' (Matt 17:11) and Elijah’s coming is seen in the context of the law—statutes in Malachi 4:4,5. They have a 7-fold emphasis in Ezekiel 20:11-24 where they are also linked to sabbaths.

"Those topics have a contextual link to the seals in Revelation 6. For example, when John heard thunder in verse 1, thunder is linked to God’s name in John 12:28,29 and Rev 14:1,2."

"There could also be a significant event Saturday, May 26 as a sign of impending calamity, because that’s the 10th day from the new moon crescent. The 10th day was when Noah entered the ark and animals also went in—it was a sign then."

"The apostle Paul who wrote half the New Testament said, 'Follow me as I follow Christ.' 1Cor 11:1. We should all be able to say that. I’m saying it now because I’m seeing a bigger picture than the preacher who didn’t tell you how to be protected by ‘watching’ May 31, Rev 3:3."

"The message of the earthquake includes 'the Bridegroom comes—go ye OUT to meet Him.' Out of the fallen churches that are not open to the truths in The Earthquake and 7 Seals by which we must be sealed (Revelation 7) in order to be ready for the rest of what’s coming."

"When the King makes a marriage for His Son in Matthew 22, He sends His servants to bid others to the feast. We either share with others what we know as we get ready, or we are not sure and want to ‘wait and see,’ but this takes no faith. We should urge others to be ready as I’m suggesting. She believes that provides an opportunity to reach young people with messages, using their medium of choice. Her latest selfie film, 'Conflict', will premiere at the New Jersey International Film Festival at Rutgers University on June 9, 2018.

"I am thrilled to announce that my latest short film 'Conflict' was selected to premiere at the New Jersey International Film Festival at Rutgers University," Dr. Holstein stated. This is a prestigious film festival. 22 films have been accepted from over 520 entries, and mine is one of them.  This is real recognition for my work as a psychologist and a filmmaker. I'm grateful to Megan Brown who once again stars in my Selfie film, doing much of her own filming with her smart phone. Also grateful to film editor Francesco Nuzzi who did such a fabulous job merging Megan's Selfies with traditional film.

"As I think about over 30 years of treating clients, being a school psychologist, doing case study research on women and now being a filmmaker, one thing stands out: Conflict.  What a perfect title for my new film in which a young teen tries to come of age shadowed so many current day problems: drugs, bullies, alcohol, preoccupied parents, etc.

"What do I mean by Conflict? When I did my case study research based on women of all ages, I discovered that they all had the capacity for happiness, to achieve positive states of being again and again, what I call THE ENCHANTED SELF(R), but often not the will, or know how to bring happiness into their lives.  Some of the limitations were placed by society, its legal systems, and biases and some of the limitations for happiness became ingrained in the women as they gave up, or felt obligated to put others first.  Over the years, some of the conflicts for girls and women of all ages have improved: better legal status, more educational doors, such as local, inexpensive two year colleges and improved health care for many.  But for many girls and women, the world of easy access to opportunities just doesn't exist and the results are limiting at best and disastrous at worst.  Some of these  include: mental health disorders, depression often being the most serious leading at times to suicide, drugs, alcohol, early unplanned pregnancies, battering or abuse in families, unfilled dreams and often generation to generation repetition of problems and disappointments.

"Conflicts are complex in society and we suffer the pain of not coming into our own in terms of human potential for many reasons.  Still, it has become my life work and passion to help educate and psychologically teach women of all ages, as well as kids and their parents some of the core principles of happiness.  These principles if understood and practiced will lead to people developing their talents, strengths and potential.  I'm thrilled that Melania Trump is starting #BeBest.  I'm sure she and I share certain understandings about human potential.  Yes, it is critical to start with kids and of course their parents, teachers and relatives.  That's one of the reasons I became a filmmaker. Each small segment of my films, as well as each film as a whole, give rise to discussion and thoughts about what kids need to grow up healthy mentally and socially." 

Dr. Holstein offers several ENCHANTED SELF pointers for you to practice with your own children, grandchildren, or even on yourself:*           

1. Help kids recognize that they are special.  Praise talents and encourage real strengths. Help them appreciate their heritage, and share with them your history, mistakes, successes and a positive sense of their future.  Make little of their failings whenever possible.

2. Help them develop their talents, strengths and potential.  Maybe no one in your family wanted to play the oboe, but your child wishes to and hates sports.  Listen to what works for him or her and help on that path.  There are plenty of other kids who can do whatever your child would prefer not to.

3.Help children in your life get the education and opportunities they need to succeed.  Sometimes that means repeating first grade and sometimes it means helping raise money for that nephew to go to a special soccer camp in the summer.

4.Help kids not go into overload.  Some kids work so hard in school and with after school activities that they don't permit themselves the experience of pleasure and a state of well-being.  Help them have more free time and do fun things that they might not think of doing, whether it is a picnic, bird watching, making a cake from scratch.  Our overly media savvy kids often don't get enough 'old fashioned' time to relax.

Dr. Holstein is currently developing "The Selfie Project" to help kids share their feelings and thoughts in a meaningful way via Selfies that can reach millions.  "The Selfie Project" provides a way for young people to go public on a number of subjects.  Bullying is real, school violence is real, drama because of social media is real for kids.'The Selfie Project' is giving voice to those subjects. A pilot TV show is in the development phase.  Teens will have a chance to discuss via their Selfies and in discussion with Dr. Holstein, various topics that affect their lives, from friend drama to fear of assault weapons. Hawaii’s Volcano Signals Impending Calamity On US According To Dr. Richard Ruhling, Biblical Prophecy Expert

Dr. Richard Ruhling is an expert on Biblical prophecy and is also the author of 'The Alpha & Omega Bible Code'

“The Hawaii volcano is not random evolution of global warming, but Intelligent Design's move to warn us of impending judgment on the US,” says Dr. Richard Ruhling, Some sources found via the search engines see the Mt. St. Helens’ eruption as an omen of Hawaii. It erupted on May 18, 1980, darkening three states with ash on May 19 - an echo of the Dark Day, May 19, 1780 that early Americans saw as a biblical sign.

Ruhling is the author of 'God Bless America?' and he says the time of judgment in Revelation 14 is impending this month because God gives man “six days to do all his work” (Exodus 20) and "a thousand years are as a day" according to St. Peter’s 2nd book, 3rd chapter “6,000 years are complete and time is up as current events are showing,” says Ruhling.

Why this month? Ruhling explains Christ’s closing parables as supporting a huge event with the same timing, “as the days of Noah” when the Flood came with Passover timing, but in the 2nd spring month. Passover was when God “executed judgment” (Exodus 12) and the sacrifice was selected on the 10th day (verse 3). That was when Noah entered the ark in Genesis 7. When people refused Noah’s invitation, they selected themselves for sacrifice.

Another example of the 2nd spring month is when women missed a wedding in Matthew 25. Christ said, “Watch” (a clue for Passover. as the only night that being awake was commanded. It would be unfair for Christ to ask this if there were no clues.)

“You don’t know the day or hour” is a poor translation of eido, to be aware or understand. He was saying,"You don’t understand because it’s like a man traveling to a far country, verse 14. If Israelites took a long trip in spring and couldn’t get back for Passover, they were to keep it a month later — 2nd month, Numbers 9. That law is still in effect, Matthew 5, verse 18, and that timing example linked Christ’s last two parables. Ruhling offers a final example.

“The goodman, if he had known, would have watched and not suffered his house to be broken by the thief," Matthew 24. "This suggests that watching, being awake, is protective, as seen by Christ’s saying, 'If you don’t watch, I will come on you as a thief,' Revelation 3. The time to “watch and pray” as Christ said in the context of Passover in Matthew 26 is 2nd Passover, Wednesday night, May 30; Ruhling believes churches should focus on this opportunity.

This coming as a thief is linked to “the day of the Lord” that comes in the context of 6,000 years as the 7th millennium begins. This also shows that the 7th day (Sabbath) is the Lord’s day as in Mark 2, last verse, not Sunday as the papacy claims with no biblical support. Judgment falling in this 7th millennium would warn against a papal UN New World Order.

Ruhling further states that the judgment impending on the US is a megaquake that initiates the biblical end-times as seen in Joel 2, verse 10,11 and Revelation 8, verses 5,6. He cites the LA Times, Oct 22, 2015 that gave an 88-99.9% risk of a major earthquake in 3 years. The San Andreas Fault is said to be “locked, loaded and ready to roll.”

Award Winning Author Brian Aull Named As One Of '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' In 2017 Book Awards, Announces Upcoming Book

In his upcoming book, 'Earth, Air, Fire, and Water: Having Fun Learning Science by Debunking Pseudoscience', author Brian Aull takes the reader on a tour of the world.

Author Brian Aull has been chosen as a winner in the 2017 '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading Book Awards'. This is the third win for Aull, the author of  'The Triad: Three Civic Virtues That Could Save American Democracy.'  In his upcoming book, 'Earth, Air, Fire, and Water: Having Fun Learning Science by Debunking Pseudoscience,’ he uses a humorous story to the take the non-scientist on a tour of the world.  “I want readers to have fun learning the science of everyday things,” Aull says, “such as rainbows, weather, ocean tides, the rumbling of the Earth, and the rhythms of the sun, moon, and stars.”

In the story, nineteen adventure tourists on their way to the South Pole are abducted by a group of people dressed in penguin costumes and claiming to be NASA employees.  The abductors tell the tourists that the Earth is a flat disk, and that Antarctica is just an ice wall around the perimeter.   The tourists are then left alone to discuss the choice being offered to them:  join a vast conspiracy to keep the secret or stay as prisoners.  The characters in the tour group represent many professions:  a photographer, a surveyor, an airline pilot, and a meteorologist.  As they tell their stories, they debunk many misconceptions about the world.

Aull’s first book, ‘The Triad,’ is about the civic virtues needed to cure the ills of our public life, the mean-spirited discourse and mindless partisanship.   'Earth, Air, Fire, and Water’ may seem like a jump to a totally new topic.  “Not so,” Aull says.  “To have a healthy democratic society, we need to have critical inquiry.  In our political discourse, we too often choose our facts based on our opinions.   We react emotionally to issues without taking enough time to investigate the truth.   Then we become easy targets of manipulation.  Good science education teaches us how the physical world works, but more importantly, how we test ideas about how it works,” Aull explains.  “And that’s part of preparing young people to be good citizens.  Even if they don’t become scientists, they learn to suspend judgment until they’ve seen all the evidence.  Unfortunately, many have the misconception that science is too difficult to understand.  The science community needs to do more to fix that.”

Mentally Ill In Jails And Prisons Is A Problem That Can Be Solved Says Virginia Sollars, Author Of 'And Some Will Triumph'

Sollars' latest book, 'And Some Will Triumph', is a heartbreaking and riveting look into correctional mental health, from the perspective of a compassionate nurse, that holds exciting potential for increasing awareness through print and film media

Overcrowding in jails and prisons is a massive problem in the US. One major cause of this ongoing problem is that the system often places the mentally ill in jails, rather than placing them in mental health facilities.

In an article on Huffington Post entitled 'New Efforts Aim To Keep The Mentally Ill Out Of Jail', a 2009 study showed that "an estimated 2 million adults with serious mental illnesses are jailed in the course of a year. Studies, including one from the Urban Institute, say they tend to stay in jail longer than those without mental illnesses, return to jail more often and cost local jurisdictions more money while incarcerated. More frequently than not, they are jailed for minor offenses, such as trespassing, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace or illicit drug use."

That is the problem. But what is the solution?

Virginia Sollars believes the solution lies in making the public aware of the problem on a deeper level. As a psychiatric nurse working in the correctional system, Virginia journeyed inside the minds of the mentally ill. Miracles Past And Present Can Be Natural Events With Supernatural Causes Says Donna Louis, Multi-Award Winning Author Of 'Miracles Of Direction'

Louis' book, entitled ‘Miracles Of Direction’, is an in-depth study of some of Christianity's most well-documented miracles.

Miracles happen all around us every day and have been happening throughout the ages. Some people may disagree with this of course, as not everyone believes in miracles. But the question here is, "What is a miracle?" A piece on ChristianHeadlines.com by J. In a general sense, miracles are events that cannot be explained by natural law. While we might like to believe that the word "miracle" applies only to water that changes into wine or other ancient, miraculous events, the fact is that nearly all of us have experienced events that simply have no natural explanation. That could include bullets stopped by wallets. It is not up to us to judge the meaning or purpose of these kind of events, and these events are beyond current human understanding. If we hope to understand, we must start by keeping an open mind.

Billy Graham Revisited: Prophecy Expert Richard Ruhling On How President Trump’s Views On Iran And Jerusalem May Fit May 2018

“What a moment to take the newspaper in one hand and the Bible in the other and watch the unfolding of the great drama of the ages,” said Billy Graham. Prophecy expert Richard Ruhling recently gave us a glimpse into how the news might be expected to unfold.

"President Trump’s ending US participation in Iran’s Nuclear Treaty and recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol may further tip Muslim nations against Israel," said Ruhling, offering the following view.

"In Zechariah’s apocalyptic 'day-of-the-Lord' prophecy, 'all nations' are gathered against Jerusalem (14th chapter) as they were when 126 UN nations voted against it being the capitol of Israel. If that happens, it signals the end-times and is an omen of impending judgment on the US.

"The obvious result will be war with Iran as foretold by the vision in Daniel 8 where Persia (verse 20) is now Iran and Gabriel said its defeat is 'at the time of the end,' verse 17. In this historic application, Greece conquered Persia, but in the end-time, it's a US coalition that comes from the west as Daniel said in verse 5 of Daniel 8. Our coalition against Iraq included troops from US, S. America, Canada, Bosnia, Korea, Australia--"the whole earth" as the text says (King James). If Jerusalem suffers destruction, we could again expect a coalition against the militant ram.

"The vision is half fulfilled. Verse 20 includes the Medes (where Iraq is now). But while Iraq and Iran suffer for their militancy against Israel, the Bible paints the ram as a more noble creature than the goat that represents the western coalition.

Iran calls the US the great Satan that brought Hollywood, sex, violence, ‘music,’ alcohol, tobacco, drugs, perversion that they equate with Christianity, but the Bible condemns those things that may be expected to bring judgment on US as well," claims Ruhling, as he further explains.

"Passover was the biblical time of judgment, but Christ’s clue, 'as the days of Noah,' points to the 2nd spring month when the Flood brought destruction, a term that the apostle Paul linked to the day of the Lord and therefore to Jerusalem’s destruction, Zech 14.

"The biblical year begins in spring with the first new moon (chodesh) after the equinox, Exodus 12. The 2nd new moon (month) may be seen Wednesday evening, May 16 as a thin crescent. Two weeks later is the eve of [2nd] Passover, the focal point of Christ’s clues in his last several parables.

"When five women missed the wedding, Christ said 'watch' (clue for Passover as the only night Israel was commanded to be awake), 'you don’t [understand, Greek word eido] for [because] it’s like a man traveling to a far country, Matthew 25.

"Israelites didn’t travel in winter, and if they took a long journey in spring and couldn’t get back for Passover, they were to keep it in the 2nd month, Numbers 9:10,11. This clue links the last two parables together and fits “as the days of Noah” and the fig tree “when summer is nigh” (in May, not April).

"Churches should be open Wednesday evening, May 30, not for ‘business as usual,’ but to watch and pray as Christ said, especially if Jerusalem suffers, Zechariah 14."
