Bestselling Author Donna Fletcher Crow Announces Completion Of 10-Volume Celtic Cross Series With The Release Of Epoch 10, The Dawning Of Peace, Of Dreamers And Designers

Crow writes meticulously researched, entertaining novels of romance, history, adventure and mystery in an engaging you-are-there style that allows readers to live the history. Reviewers have compared her work with PD James, Dan Brown and Barbara Pym.

Bestselling author Donna Fletcher Crow has announced the completion of her 10-volumn Celtic Cross series. This series of novels covers the history of Scotland and Ireland. The leading historic figures of the day interact with fictional characters to bring the stirring events alive. Each epoch is tied to the series with the on-going events in the lives of modern young people as old wars and current conflicts keep them striving to find answers that provide hope for the future. The series is comprised of 10 novels:

Epoch 1 The Keeper of the Stone, of Saints and Chieftains
563: Columba and his little band of monks arrive on the Isle of Iona from Ireland. Can a monk, seeking his own absolution, bring enlightenment to this strange, isolated people? Can three modern young people find the answer to Scotland’s oldest secret?

Epoch 2 The Forger of a Nation, Of Kings and Kingdoms
847: Kenneth mac Alpin is crowned king, but can he forge a nation from warring tribes threatened on every side by fierce Vikings and contentious Picts? And can modern young people uncover the truth about Scotland’s past and their own lives?

Epoch 3 The Refiner of a Realm: Of Queens and Clerics
1068: The gentle Queen Margaret, vowed to become a nun, accepts the hand of the uncivilized King Malcolm. Are her tools of love and beauty enough to carve a haven of civility among these rough, barbarous people? Modern young people seek answers at Edinburgh Castle, high on its windy hill.

Epoch 4 The Vanquishers of Tyranny, Of Priests and Patriots
1297: The valiant William Wallace and Robert the Bruce lead an often heart-breaking, but ultimately triumphant, struggle for Scotland’s freedom. 700 years later, three adventurous young people follow this spellbinding tale, seeking answers for their lives today.

Epoch 5 The Planting of Ulster, of Visionaries and Builders
1610: Lady Montgomery introduces potato planting to Scots settlers seeking to make a new life, including Calum Lanark, desperate to make a home for his beloved Deirdre. In 1996 Mary is filled with trepidation as she agrees to accompany her fiancé to Belfast to work for peace. But what if those mad Irish start throwing bombs at each other again?

Epoch 6 The Hammering of the Inhabitancy, Of Brothers and Strangers
1610: An Irish family is torn apart as the sons march off to war—on opposing sides—as Oliver Cromwell leads one of the most turbulent periods in all the long, troubled history of Ireland. In modern times, an American woman struggles to understand the roots of the unimaginable atrocities she sees around her in The Troubles.

Epoch 7 The Strife of Acendancy, Of People and Rulers
Two women, Two times, One agony: In 1683, the desperately ill Janet Lanark grieves as her husband and son, while feuding between themselves, stride away to join King Billy at the Battle of the Boyne. In 1996 Mary Hamilton despairs of helping the Belfast youth find peace as renewed conflict boils into riots.

Epoch 8 The Shaping of the Union, of Plots and Parliaments
Valiant Women Risk All for Ireland: In1789 Lenny imperils her own life to uncover the insidious spy bent on bringing all their plans for a revived Ireland to ruin, even as she harbors a secret message. In1996 Mary jeopardizes her own happiness as she seeks an answer that will finally help bring peace in the historic struggles of this land.

Epoch 9 The Famishment of the People, Of Hunger and Fulfillment
1845: Andrew Armstrong is determined to break free of the strictures of life on his family plantation in Northern Ireland. Then the potato famine brings disaster to all that he loves. In 1996 Mary Hamilton is ready to abandon hope for peace in strife-torn Belfast—until a devastating event changes her plans irrevocably.

Just released: Epoch 10 The Dawning of Peace, Of Dreamers and Designers
The stunning conclusion to The Celtic Cross series. In the aftermath of the hotel bombing where they had gone to lead a peace rally, Mary sits, shattered, in a hospital room beside the broken body of her beloved Gareth. In an effort to distract her and pass the long hours, Philip reads to her from the final episode of his family journals.

In 1914, in spite of her family’s skepticism, budding actress Nora Armstrong is thrilled to join the Gaelic Revival movement at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin under the leadership of the indomitable Lady Gregory. Nora loves her new life until everything is changed by the Easter Rising. Northern Ireland is born out of the rubble of the conflict, but can the uneasy peace be sustained?
Old Wars; present conflicts. Out of her pain Mary finds real hope for the future—changing peoples’ hearts.

"It is deeply gratifying to me to have completed the publication of my Celtic Cross Series," Crow stated. "This has been a project I have long wanted to undertake and Covid lockdowns gave me the perfect opportunity to begin what I knew would be a lengthy under-taking.

"It's always impossible to put actual dates on such ventures. Do you start with the inception of the idea? With the first proposal sent to an editor? With beginning the first manuscript? Perhaps a good place to start for The Celtic Cross Series would be 1993 with my first research trip to Scotland where I fell in love with the land and her stories.

"My then 13-year-old daughter accompanied me for 6 weeks in that marvelous country and I still value the dear friends who hosted us and assisted with my research.

"The Fields of Bannockburn, the first publication of the stories from that adventure, came out as a 707-page epic in 1996 and won first place for fiction in the 1997 National Federation of Press Women Communications Contest. The first 4 Epochs of The Celtic Cross are taken from that book.

"The Banks of the Boyne, Ireland’s story, followed that in 1998 in 823 pages. It was definitely time thoroughly to up-date these books and to bring them into the new century in ebook format as well. I am so grateful to Sheila Deeth, my editor, and to Ken Raney, my cover artist and all who worked on this effort."

More information on the series is available at Crow's website at https://donnafletchercrow.com/booksHistorical.php#historical.

New Christian Book, Megaquake, By Dr Richard Ruhling, Predicts San Andreas Earthquake in 2023

Richard Ruhling, MD, MPH, taught Health Science at Loma Linda University and claims the world’s best-selling book is not myths, as some want to believe.

As stated in the Wikipedia article on prophecy, “ . . . a prophecy is a message that has been communicated to a person (typically called a prophet) by a supernatural entity. Prophecies are a feature of many cultures and belief systems and usually contain divine will or law, or preternatural knowledge, for example of future events. They can be revealed to the prophet in various ways depending on the religion and the story, such as visions, divination, or direct interaction with divine beings in physical form. Stories of prophetic deeds sometimes receive considerable attention and some have been known to survive for centuries through oral tradition or as religious texts.”

While much of the information derived from divination are concerned with “what” will occur, what is more interesting to modern followers of prophecy are the questions of “where” and “when”, with an emphasis on “end-times” prophecies.

According to the US Geological Survey, “the western United States lies along the boundaries of major tectonic plates that make up the Earth’s crust—the North American Plate and the ocean plates to the west. These plates are moving against each other, breaking up the crust along many faults like the San Andreas Fault.” Scientists today observe a crescendo of seismic activity on the Pacific Ring of Fire, and though the San Andreas Fault is 80 years overdue for a major earthquake, seismologists can’t predict when that will occur.

“By contrast, the world’s best-selling book reveals how we get there with confirmatory signs that are turning positive,” says Dr. Richard Ruhling, author of a new book, MegaQuake 2023, that predicts biblical end-times to begin next year.

Ruhling is an expert on Bible prophecy—he predicted war with Iraq before 9-11, based on “the vision at the time of the end” where a goat flies from the west to break the horns of a militant Muslim ram in the Middle East. The ram’s horns are the kings of Media and Persia in the book of Daniel. Those areas are now known as Iraq and Iran.

“We don’t want war with Iran, so we should wonder what makes the goat angry to fight the ram,” says Ruhling. He finds the answer in President Erdogan of Turkey’s appeal for 57 Muslim nations to besiege Israel. This is an echo of a prophecy more than 2500 years ago when nations will be gathered against Jerusalem. “The city will be captured, the houses ransacked, . .” This is a confirmatory sign, expected for Passover.

How does this impact the San Andreas fault? Muslims are expected to celebrate their mosque that has an inscription, “Allah has no son.” Suddenly, “the Lord shall roar from Jerusalem...the earth shall shake,” These passages have “day of the Lord” context when God “will shake the earth terribly,” says Ruhling, who sees Daniel’s prophecy of the ram’s horns half fulfilled by the death of Saddam Hussein, and “time of the end” coming.

Ellen White, founder of Loma Linda University, and for whom White Memorial Hospital in LA is named, had a vision of an earthquake at Loma Linda which is near the San Andreas Fault. She saw “buildings great and small falling to the ground...Many lives were blotted out...It seemed that Judgment day had  come.” In Testimonies, Volume 9, she cited Zephaniah which also has “day of the Lord” context.

Ruhling says her reference to “wickedness in the large cities” includes Hollywood that has exported negative lifestyles and vices to the world. Muslims say the US is the great Satan, and Ruhling sees a US parallel to Egypt. Egypt enslaved Israel as the US has with these same vices. Just as Egypt threw Israel’s babies in the river; the US has thrown 63 million babies in the trash via modern-day abortion practices. Judgment fell at Passover on Egypt as a jubilee event for Israel that meant freedom--it came every 50 years. 50 years from Roe v Wade is 2023, and Passover is when to expect the confirmatory sign of Muslims gathering against Jerusalem.

About Dr. Richard Ruhling
:

After Internal Medicine training and board certification, Ruhling had a Cardiology Fellowship before teaching at Loma Linda’s School of Public Health. Attending a cardiology convention, he heard Pritikin reporting how a low fat, low cholesterol diet reversed heart disease and got 85% of patients off their drugs for diabetes and blood pressure. Ruhling developed a Total Health Seminar to help people with positive lifestyle changes to avoid high-risk pharma alternatives and at 80 is in excellent health. Author Marlayne Giron's New Bestselling Christian Epic Fantasy Fiction Book, The Victor, Was Directly Influenced By Epic Tales Such As Rings Of Power And J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord Of The Rings

Giron is considered to be a great new voice in Christian Fiction and writes fiction with a mission. The book will be of special interest to homeschoolers. A no-charge student workbook is available.

Bestselling Author Marlayne Giron's new Christian Fantasy Fiction book, 'The Victor', was written for modern day readers who enjoy epic fantasy fiction, such as 'Rings of Power'. The book was heavily influenced by Tolkein's 'Lord of the Rings'. However, in the tradition of Stephen Lawhead and Elizabeth Chadwick, Marlayne Giron writes epic fantasy fiction centered around traditional Christian values. Her work has been directly compared to 'Lord of the Rings' and 'The Chronicles of Narnia' and has an endorsement by New York Times bestselling author Tosca Lee on the front cover.

'The Victor', is an inspirational historical fantasy fiction book - written for ages 12 and up - that is destined to become a classic. Perfect as a home school resource, this spellbinding tale is set apart from other Christian fiction books by her subtle but powerful method of presenting Christian principles embedded in a majestic adventure that is gripping, riveting, and engaging for readers of any age.

"The book would make a great movie for fantasy fiction fans," Giron stated, "My dream cast for 'The Victor' would be Sean Connery playing the part of Eloth, Gerard Butler as Sir Penloth, Josh Dallas as Joshua the Prince and Pierfrancesco Favino as Lucius. ‘Fairytale’ by Amy Grant inspired the book in 1980. Attaining bestseller status for the book has been a dream come true."

As noted on Giron's website, a companion lesson plan is available for advanced Language Arts students in upper middle school through high school. The Lesson Plan explores the language and Biblical symbolism of the novel and works especially well for Christian homeschoolers. Because the Christian Bible plays such a powerful role in history and sociology, the book is recommended for non-Christians as well.

The lesson plan contains a vocabulary list, chapter summary questions, pronunciation guide, guide to allegorical symbolism, short biography about the author, and a bit about the armor that knights and their horses wore during medieval times. End of chapter questions about content are interspersed with ideas for further study, and essay topics.

The student workbook is available at no charge at Giron’s website at https://thevictorbook.com/download-the-free-student-workbook-and-chivalry-studies/.

Readers and reviewers have praised the book. Robert Heath, Founder and Director of Kids for Christ/USA, stated, "The Victor is an absolute 'literary masterpiece' that should be required reading in High Schools across the land. In fact, if there was a required reading list for Christians, The Victor would have to be on it."

NY Time bestselling author Tosca Lee said, "The Victor is an epic adventure of love, loss, and triumph over evil. Giron’s characters leap off the page into medieval battles, jousts, quests, and romance. Fans of Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and medieval fantasy will not want to miss out on this classic tale!"

Karen Koch, former editor of the Christian Home Educators Association of California Magazine stated, "I loved this book. The author had me at castles, sword fights, and a gentle romance, but the novel reveals an eternal story of good vs. evil that is much deeper than just what’s on the surface. Middle and high school students (and their parents) will love this account of adventure, drama, betrayal, sacrifice, and ultimate victory."

Kathi Macias, bestselling author of nearly sixty books said, "Author Marlayne Giron has woven together a fast-paced adventure and a tender love story that will keep readers on the edge of their seats, even as they are caught up in the lives of believable characters, both good and evil. The Victor will introduce – or reintroduce – readers to the majestic story of the Bible, a story of love, redemption, and victory. Though aimed at high-school aged readers, adults will be captivated by it as well. Highly recommended!"

The book is currently available at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Marlayne-Giron/e/B09YQPRVL7/ref=dp_byline_cont_pop_book_1.

Marlayne Giron is available for media interviews. She can be reached using the information below, or by email at mmgiron@yahoo.com. 'The Victor' is available at online book retailers. More information is available at Giron's website at https://thevictorbook.com.

Sea Otter Attack Leads to Murder Clue

Multiple award-winning novella, When Otters Play, by bestselling author Mara Purl, reveals connection between crimes against wildlife and human

Can a bullet lodged in the carcass of a Southern California sea otter lead to a connection to crimes against humans?

When Otters Play is a thrilling, award-winning novella that takes readers on a compelling sea-going adventure. To celebrate Sea Otter Awareness Week, the Amazon Kindle E-book will be free for four days, September 22, 23, 24 and 25th.

Best-selling, award-winning author Mara Purl weaves intriguing facts into her story. Based in part on researching reports by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service experts who monitor the wild sea otter population near Santa Barbara, Purl found that law enforcement information can and is shared between officers who monitor violent crime against both humans and wildlife.

“Sea otters are highly intelligent creatures who live mostly within sight of the coastline, observing and interacting with humans in marinas and recreational areas,” Purl explained. “They’re the only marine mammals with paws very much like hands. And they’re clever and mischievous. They’ve been known to steal oarlocks, swipe food, and play with beach balls.”

Despite being the cutest and cleverest animals in the area, sea otters have run afoul of commercial fishermen who harvest sea urchins. “I had no idea how controversial this book would be,” Mara revealed. “When I first began research I assumed I’d be learning about migration, mating, feeding and other behaviors. But I discovered two important things. First, the sea otter is an index species.

Second, the sea otter was endangered for many years. In its absence, fishermen began harvesting urchins, and this became a lucrative business for them. Now that the otters are back, they’re competing for that same supply. The fisherman don’t see cute creatures; they see dangerously aggressive competitors.

Sea Otter Awareness Week was founded in 2006 to recognize the vital role that sea otters play in the nearshore ecosystem. It’s only through wildlife advocacy groups that the populations survives, and they’re still threatened by oil spills, fishing gear entanglement, vessel strikes and habitat degradation. The southern sea otter is an ancient species, dating back five to twenty-three million years ago. Their luxurious pelts were so highly valued for fur, that they were nearly hunted to extinction until the 1911 Fur Seal Treaty.

When Otters Play is part of Purl’s best-selling saga, Milford-Haven, which began as a hit BBC radio drama with 4.5 million listeners in the U.K., and became a multi-award winning book series with 17 million followers in the U.S. The story is set in California’s scenic Central Coast, where Purl regularly researches her stories, and is a frequent speaker.

Reviewer and Host of The Authors Show Linda Thompson said: “The big plus about reading Purl’s works is what you learn, particularly about the central California coastal area, but most especially about the wildlife. You can feel the almost-human quality of the otters in this book and your heart aches for little Lulu, who is without her mother. When Otters Play is a wonderful read and I was sad to reach the last page. This is another one on my ‘must recommend” list.’”

Don Barthelmess, Professor Marine Technology Department, Santa Barbara City College, said, “A fun and accurate depiction of the diverse marine communities set in the beautiful Santa Barbara Channel Islands. Mara makes the story come alive!”

Reader comments:

“Mara Purl creates a rich palette in her newest Milford-Haven installment. Artist Miranda Jones heads into the ocean and we meet a raft of otters as well as a mix of interesting people against a backdrop of the lush California Central Coast. All is not well at the coast, and not everyone wants to protect the otters! I love the series not only for the magical setting, but also for the author’s style in bringing delicious detail to the reader. Come to Milford-Haven for the ambiance, but stay for the drama!”
– Victoria Heckman, author of the Elizabeth Murphy Animal Communicator Series

“Mara Purl’s writing style is imaginatively eloquent. She manages to put words together in unique ways that grab my mind and make me see things I’d never thought of before. Her storytelling, simply put, is a joy. When Otters Play is a great read by an author who never disappoints, Mara Purl. Get it, sit down in your favorite reading chair, and enjoy.” – Roger Seiler, Author of Master of Alaska

About the Author

For her Milford-Haven Novels, Mara was named 2019 Top Female Author for Fiction by the Authors Show. To date, her book series has won more than 60 book awards, and has topped multiple best-seller lists on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Her novels, novellas and novelettes with their gorgeous watercolor book covers and engaging mix of romance and mystery are sought after by her mostly female readers, where Mara has become a trail blazer for both Women’s Fiction and Small Town fiction.

Mara, who has appeared on stage and on-camera since childhood, played the recurring character “Darla Cook” on NBC’s Days of Our Lives. She then founded a production company and created Milford-Haven U.S.A.,a serial drama loosely based upon Cambria, California. The show, co-starring a well-known L.A. based cast including Erin Gray, Linda Purl, Ed Begley, Jr., Michael Horse, and several others, became the first American radio drama to air on BBC radio, where it enjoyed a following of 4.5 million listeners. Purl’s story later came to the attention of New York publishers, who began publishing her novel series in hardcover in 2011. Since then, her books have become national best-sellers, as have her novellas.

Mara has an on-line following of 17 million when she does her blog tours. She is a frequent guest on radio talk shows, and also speaks for the American Heart Association, for women’s organizations, for writers’ conferences and for colleges and universities. Mara and her books have a large following nationally and particularly in California. Along with her work as an author, speaker and performer, she consults on other authors’ book projects.

Bestselling Author Bernard Fleury's Near Death Experience Ebook, Near Death Experience, Out Of The Darkness Into The Light, Has Achieved Bestseller Status In Two Science Categories

Dr. Fleury is the author of thirteen books across a number of genres. Many are best sellers and all have received high rating from readers and reviewers.

Dr. Bernard Fleury has announced that his highly praised book, Near Death Experience: Out Of The Darkness Into The Light, has achieved bestseller status in two categories - Medical Research and Neuroscience.

The book clearly describes what happens in the profound near-death experience. In this award-winning bestseller, Fleury presents a penetrating look into the near death experience that is unlike any other book about NDE’s available today. Readers will learn what really happens in the profound near-death experience.

'Near-Death Experience: Out of the Darkness into the Light', details what happens to people who have had a profound near-death experience. It presents a comprehensive overview of this experience as reported in several major studies. Research findings include information from Raymond Moody, MD; Melvin Morse, MD; Pim Van Lommel, MD; Kenneth Ring, PhD; and Bruce Greyson, MD; J. Steve Millerand P.M.H. Atwater. Fleury personally interviewed 3 persons who claimed they had an experience of light during their N-D Experience.

Nearly all of Bernard's books center squarely on the theme of Light as a Someone and a Something. He believes we are all Called Into Life By The Light. Life and Light are tied together. Lifelight describes their relationship best because both our “without” (our physical being) and our “within” (our spirit) are basically light in two different forms:

1. Physical energy that occupies space, has weight, can be measured, and

2. Psychic or spiritual energy which is a force that causes things to happen and, thus, real energy, but it does not occupy space, have weight, nor can it be empirically measured.

Bernard Fleury has written a total of thirteen books to date. These include:

How Jesus Christ Leads Us To The Kingdom of Heaven
The Mind Body Spirit Connection in the Medicine of Light
Teilhard De Chardin The Search For Light in Evolution
Human Sexuality in St. John Paul II and Teilhard de Chardin
Near Death Experience Out of the Darkness Into The Light
The Unfailing Light Remedy for Alienation Loneliness and Despair
What is Man Male and Female
A Bee In His Bonnet

All of his books have been highly praised by readers and reviewers alike. Many are bestsellers and most have achieved 5-star ratings. Many are available in audio format. The full list of his books, including reviews, can be found at Amazon or at his website.

Bernard was chosen as one of ‘50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading’ in the 2017 Book Awards. His honor came as a result of his appearance on The Authors Show. He was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors through a public voting process.

All Dogs Go To Heaven - Bestselling Author Jody Sharpe Announces New Video, Upcoming AZ Authors Series Event

Sharpe is the author of a number of award-winning books and videos that can help readers and viewers find hope, inspiration and gratitude.

Best selling author Jody Sharpe has announced she will be appearing at the Desert Foothills Library in Cave Creek Arizona on November 1st, 2022. The subject of her talk will be "The Angels on the Writers' Shoulder". In that talk she will discuss her encounter with a real life angel and about the synchronicity of inspiring events and encounters with others which were instrumental in influencing her writing about angels.

Sharpe also announced the release of a new video, titled "All Dogs Go To Heaven." She posted a piece on her site in which she discussed the idea of pets going to heaven:

"Will Rogers stated long ago, 'If There Are No Dogs In Heaven. Then When I Die, I Want To Go Where They Went,' Sharpe wrote.

"Many people who have had near death experiences, have written they have seen dogs and cats as they go through the tunnel toward the light. Recently, a friend of ours was on his death bed. His wife told me before he died, he saw his old friends and his mother who had passed away standing in the room. His beloved late dog was there too and ran to him. These stories of people seeing their loved ones convinced me. All our beloved pets go to heaven.

"Dogs have special roles in all of my books. I have given some of them the names of my late dogs and the dog and cat characters are woven into the story lines."

The full text of the post is available at https://jodysharpe.com. The new video is available at YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8d4qQGvPjWM.

Sharpe's book have won numerous awards and many are bestsellers. Town Of Angels Christmas took Third Place Honors in the At-large division of the 2021 NFPW Communications Contest. The contest had entrants from 18 states, the District of Columbia and Spain.

'Town Of Angels Christmas, A Tale Of Love And Animal Rescue' was a bestseller in the Holiday Fiction category, ‘Town of Angels Christmas' features the same town and many of the characters from ‘Town of Angels’. In this new novel, Sharpe addresses a number of new issues for her characters to deal with, including animal rescue.

In 'Town Of Angels Christmas', a secret lies in Mystic Bay California. Angels live as humans there. Angel Ken, a store owner, fears the secret will be revealed when vet, Jordana Hart, a woman with special healing abilities moves to town. Years before Angel Ken materialized as an old man, changing the course of her life.

Will Jordana recognize Angel Ken as the man from her past as they work together on a rescue mission to bring twenty-two horses to Mystic Bay before Christmas? Will they see what lies before them, a Christmas story only the angels could write?

Other books by Jody Sharpe include:

To Catch An Angel - Jody is also the author of 'To Catch An Angel', written in memory of her late husband Steve. In 'To Catch An Angel', miracles happen in Mystic Bay, California, the town with the psychic and angel vibe. Angels are calling. Psychic Maggie Malone returns home to find she's swept up in the miracle of it all. She can't imagine why her mother left or who her father might be. But these questions pale in comparison to the wonder of the angels. Maggie meets writer, Noah Greenstreet. They realize they've met before, but where? Maggie and Noah embark on a journey to find our world is all awash with angels.

The Angel's Daughter - A secret lies in Mystic Bay, California and only two people know it. First there’s Hannah, a tender curly headed half Angel Then there’s her father, Gabe, an effervescent, teddy bear of a full-blooded angel. And it’s up to Hannah to keep the secret safe, but she’s made a colossal mistake telling her ex-boyfriend and writing professor, Sam Blakely. Now he’s written a book exposing the secret to the world.

20 Moon Road: An Angel's Tale, Book Five in the Mystic Bay Series, is now available. The latest book features a character from her Mystic Bay series, Madam Norma. Madam Norma is based on a woman who influenced Sharpe's life in a number of unforgettable ways.

Miracles still happen in the town of Mystic Bay California. Angels live as humans there. Angel Ken, a former football coach, is surprised when his late best friend, the indomitable psychic, Madam Norma, appears in spirit form and asks him to write the story of her life through her memories she will send him. Surprising to Angel Ken, Madam Norma saw thousands of angels since childhood.

Readers of the Mystic Bay Series who wish to start with the first book in the series can now access’ The Angel's Daughter’ on Kindle Unlimited. The book serves as a great introduction to Jody's concept of angels on earth.

'Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder' is a memoir based on her twenty-five years teaching children with special needs. The book placed second in the National Federation Of Press Women’s At-Large Communication contest. The book is as entertaining as it is illuminating. It’s a love story about the special students and others who over the years graced her life with just that, their grace.

With hearts of angels and challenges to face, the children took Sharpe along their journeys and inspired her own life’s journey of self-discovery. When sorrow came, their kindness helped her through. The synchronicity of events from high school to retirement changed her life for the better, turning her face toward heaven.

Midwest Book Review stated, "Sharpe's ability to see the good in circumstances and people identifies the 'special' in 'special needs' as she delineates her journey through the education system and those teaching and social encounters which changed her perspective and life.

"Teachers (especially those working with special needs kids) will find this spiritual and social reflection easily accessible. It's presented in vignettes which offer small, digestible bites of insight into a world where angels and kindness are present in more than one form."

‘Special Needs Children’ followed her recently released children's book about angels, ‘When The Angel Sent Butterflies’. The new book helps children understand that love from their parents and others surrounds them. Love conquers fear and believing that angels are near can help sweep any childhood fear away. This concept is presented in the book when Angel Ken sends Jones and Kate butterflies. The book, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, is now available at Amazon and Ingram.

In addition, on the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her site, Sharpe presents stories of real life encounters with angels. The stories are available at Sharpe's website at http://www.jodysharpe.com.

Sharpe hopes to create a collection of angel stories that involve sightings of angels, interaction with angels, miraculous angel encounters and other types of accounts or stories. Everyone is welcome to submit angel stories. All submissions will be considered, but inclusion is not guaranteed. Stories may be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd.

Sharpe's YouTube channel brings all of this together, offering segments on all of these topics. One topic of special interest is bullying, specifically as it relates to special needs children.

In addition to the National Federation of Press Women’s award, Jody was chosen as a winner in the annual '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' Book Awards'. She was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors through a public voting process.

Jody also announced recently that two new screen treatments of her books are now available: ‘The Angel's Daughter’ and ‘Town Of Angels Christmas’. Angelic presence on earth is the central theme of all the books in her Mystic Bay Series. The series is comprised of four books, the first of which, ‘The Angel's Daughter’, is now available on Kindle Unlimited.

Jody Sharpe is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below, or by email at sharpejody76@gmail.com. Angel stories can be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd. All of her books are available at online book retailers. New quotes will be added every Tuesday to the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her blog, which can be found at her website at http://www.JodySharpe.com.

Assisted Living: What You Need To Know Before You Make A Decision - Will I Get The Healthcare I Need, Part Two, By Frances Fuller, Bestselling Author Of Helping Yourself Grow Old

Best-selling author Frances Fuller offers a unique outlook on aging based on her own experience. Her insights are penetrating and deal with issues that many seniors and their families are concerned about. She offers an insider's view of assisted living.

As we all know, when considering assisted living options, nothing is more important or urgent than the healthcare issue. In Part Two of her recent article titled, "Will I Get The Healthcare I Need?," Frances Fuller, bestselling author of 'Helping Yourself Grow Old', addressed specifically the role of family. Part Two of the article reads, in part:

There are things an elder care community cannot do for its residents. Especially, it cannot take the place of family, not even in the realm of health care.

In an emergency the staff of a care home can call 911 or even provide transportation to a medical facility, but they cannot make decisions affecting the care of the patient. For this reason, every resident in such a home must have an appointed “power of attorney” who can make decisions related to their care. A family relationship in this case is not necessary, though it is common for the responsibility to be in the hands of a son or a daughter, preferably someone who lives nearby and is accessible in a time of need.

The role of family, however, is far more extensive than legal authority.

In routine situations, a family member can be a practical assistant. For instance, when Lucille has an appointment with her doctor, she likes her daughter Beth to take her to the clinic. In fact, the retirement community will provide transportation, but Lucille prefers to have someone with her in the doctor’s office. Beth will hear better and afterwards remember better what the doctor said. She is also a good notetaker. She records things in her phone. Sometimes she reminds Lucille of a question she has forgotten to ask. Of course, both Beth and Lucille know that it is Lucille who needs to relate to the doctor, and the doctor knows to address Lucille, not her daughter. They all agree that Lucille could, if necessary, keep the appointment alone, but Lucille admits that everything is less stressful when she is not alone.

A family member can be a lifter of spirits when no one else knows what to do. Debra knew that her Aunt Betty loved sushi. When the elder home reported that Betty was not eating, Debra delivered sushi. It worked! Betty was suddenly happy, hungry and grateful. She told everybody what a blessing Debra was. She felt remembered, understood, loved.

Sometimes a family member is a useful observer. Sherri noticed little things. Her mother didn’t get any coffee this morning; that’s why she still feels sleepy. Or she didn’t get her face washed; she never feels awake until she has wiped her eyes with a cool, wet cloth. Family knows the little things that matter. Sherri also noticed that ordinary service improved when she was able to show up frequently at the nursing home and mention kindly that her mother’s morning meds were sometimes late.

A family member can be important psychological support to a person who is not well. The sick person may feel that half a dozen strangers have been in her room today; she may get confused about who they are. The presence of a familiar face, the face of someone in whom she has confidence makes everything better.

Sometimes only a family member can deliver comfort to the resident of a memory care ward. No one but his son Juan can do it for Miguel. Juan, who knew what color to paint the walls of his apartment to help his dad feel at home, comes often, bringing a game Miguel likes to play. Without the distraction, Miguel will search all day for his wife, who has been dead for years. They eat together, while Juan jokes about everything as he always did at home with his two parents, and his dad eats well, feeling content. Juan is grateful for the help his dad is getting in the care community, and the nurses there appreciate the way he reinforces what they are doing.

In the same memory care unit is a woman whose only daughter had to move to another state and cannot come often. The director of the unit found a way to keep them connected. The daughter calls at an appointed time, and he receives the call on a tablet which he passes to Margaret so she can both talk with her daughter and see her grandchildren. These contacts save Margaret from bouts of depression and restore the glow on her cheeks.

More of Part Two, and the entire text of Part One of "Will I Get The Healthcare I Need?" is available at her website at http://www.francesfullerauthor.com.

Frances Fuller's book is unique among the many books on aging, because it is personal, while most such books are written from an academic point of view. Most are penned by sociologists, doctors, gerontologists, even the CEO of AARP, and one by a Catholic nun, Joan Chittister. Chittister's book, 'The Gift of Years' is beautifully written, focusing on spiritual values and finding meaning in life. Chittister admits in the preface that she was only 70, which is the front edge of aging, and her book is somewhat abstract.

Atul Gawande’s book, 'On Being Mortal', relates medicine and old age, It enjoys high Amazon rankings, in the category of “the sociology of aging.” It contains a great deal of valuable scientific information and shows understanding of the physical and emotional needs of the elderly.

Frances Fuller’s book, 'Helping Yourself Grow Old, Things I Said To Myself When I Was Almost Ninety', is an up-close and very personal encounter with aging. It is an uncontrived and firsthand look at her own daily experiences: wrestling with physical limitations, grief, loneliness, fears, and the decisions she has made about how to cope with these and keep becoming a better person. She faces regrets and the need to forgive herself and others and is determined to live in a way that blesses her children and grandchildren.

Frances deals with many common, universal but sometimes private issues in an open, conversational tone. Her confessions and decisions invite self-searching and discussion. She tries to make sense of her own past and to understand her responsibility to younger generations. In the process she shares her daily life, enriched with memories from her fascinating experiences. Her stories and her voice — fresh, honest, irresistible — keep the reader eager for more. The end result is a book that helps create a detailed map through the challenging terrain of old age.

The result of this intimate narrative is that readers laugh, cry and identify with her mistakes and problems. Reviewers have called the book, “unique,” “honest,” “witty,” “poignant,” “challenging” and “life-changing.”

For these reasons it is a book unlike any other book on aging you will ever read. The book can serve as a primer on what lies in store for all of us, from someone who is working through many of these issues. While the book is a perfect fit for book clubs, there are many other individuals and groups who could benefit from the information and ideas in the book:

Those approaching retirement
People who are currently retired
Children of aging parents
Those who have lost a spouse
Retirement community discussion groups
Counselors
Educators
Life coaches
Church groups (men and women)

and a host of others. For group discussions, Fuller has made a set of discussion questions available at her website at http://www.FrancesFullerAuthor.com.

Readers have lavished praise on the new book. One Amazon review stated, "I find myself thinking,'I need to read this again and take notes!' It’s full of wisdom, humor, and grace. I also have committed to rereading it annually - it’s that important!" Another said, "There is valuable life experience in this book. Helping Yourself Grow Old is truly is a book for all ages, and one not to be missed." Another stated, "Beautifully written book telling timeless truths, for both the old and the young. Highly recommend this book for anyone who loves to laugh, cry, and learn wisdom from someone who has lived so much life."

Frances' prior work, 'In Borrowed Houses', has taken three industry awards and has achieved Bestseller status. Frances Fuller was the Grand Prize winner in the 2015 '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' Book Awards. It received the bronze medal for memoir in the Illumination Book Awards in 2014. Northern California Publishers and Authors annually gives awards for literature produced by residents of the area. In 2015 'In Borrowed Houses' received two prizes: Best Non-fiction and Best Cover.

Critics have also praised ‘In Borrowed Houses.’ A judge in the 22nd Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards called 'In Borrowed Houses' “ . . a well written book full of compassion . . . a captivating story . . . ”. Another reviewer described the book as “Wise, honest, sensitive, funny, heart-wrenching . . .”. Colin Chapman, lecturer in Islamic Studies at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut said, “ . . . western Christians and Middle Eastern Christians need to read this story…full of remarkable perceptiveness and genuine hope.”

Frances has shared stories about her life in an interview with Women Over 70, and a recording is available on their Facebook page.

Frances Fuller is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at frances0516@att.net. The full text of her latest article is available at her website. Fuller's book is available at Amazon and other book retailers. A free ebook sample from 'In Borrowed Houses' is available at http://www.payhip.com/francesfuller. Frances Fuller also blogs on other issues relating to the Middle East on her website at http://www.inborrowedhouseslebanon.com.

About Frances Fuller:

Frances Fuller spent thirty years in the violent Middle East and for twenty-four of those years was the director of a Christian publishing program with offices in Lebanon. While leading the development of spiritual books in the Arabic language, she survived long years of civil war and invasions.

Bestselling Author Dr. Sylvia Lafair Announces New Second Edition Of Five Star Leadership Book, Gutsy - How Women Leaders Make Change, Ebook Available At No Charge September 14 through 17, 2022

Sylvia Lafair, Ph.D., is the founder of Creative Energy Options (CEOinc), a global business consulting firm and the world’s leading authority in Pattern Breakthrough Leadership Development, a Top Global Leadership Guru, and a best-selling author.

The role of women in the workplace has been transformed, reformed and redefined, turning 180 degrees from the stereotypical gender mix of the 1950's. Today, women have achieved real power, both personal and professional.

The percentage of female business owners and entrepreneurs has skyrocketed in the last few decades. More and more boardrooms are now the domain of empowered women who have overcome, stepped up and stepped out. The playing field has been leveled at last.

However, there are still many obstacles to overcome. While we might believe those obstacles stem from outdated ideas about women, extinct holdover philosophies from the male dominated good ol' boys networks of bygone eras, or just plain prejudice, in fact it is often in the mindset of women themselves in which many of these obstacles can make their appearance.

A lack of confidence or self-assuredness, buried deep in the subconscious, manifests a tiny voice so quiet it is barely heard, whispering, "Not ready." "Not good enough." "Not worthy." "Imposter."

While we cannot control the obstacles society lays before us, we can control that internal voice - indeed we must if we are to achieve real success. To do that, we need only to become "Gutsy". And it is good to be gutsy.

That is the primary message of the second edition of Dr. Sylvia LaFair's outstanding leadership book, Gutsy, How Women Leaders Make Change. The ebook version will be available at no charge at Amazon September 14 through September 17, 2022.

For some of us this is easy, to speak out, take risks, stand at the leading edge of change. For most of us, we need a nudge. This is a great book to get women started on the path to being GUTSY!

You'll learn to Observe and Understand behaviors that have stood in the way of true collaboration, and Transform into the world of outstanding partnership. From exploring models of being GUTSY, to what it means to have a pink or blue blanket, this entertaining book will give you the puzzle pieces to build a GUTSY You!

The supercharged second edition of the book has received rave reviews from readers and reviewers:

“This book hits the spot for every woman leader, personally and professionally. I turn to it when I need to rethink, reclaim, and reinvent my priorities at work and at home. It helps me constantly claim my passion and move forward.” —Joanne LaMarca Mathisen, Former Executive Producer, NBC Today

"Life-changing book! It gave me the tools to be calmer and more assertive at the same time. Not an easy task. Instead of getting louder to get my point across, I now have a better understanding of how to 'meet people where they are, not where I want them to be.' My leadership scores are the highest ever." —Kathi O’Neill; Managing Partner, Rice Cohen International

The second edition of Gutsy brings the powerful ideas found in the first edition into today's networked environment. Social media has changed the landscape of the workplace. There have been amazing changes utilizing technology (especially social media) to bring inequities to the forefront of the conversation. Thus, many new books for girls have been added to include gender equity, diversity and climate change. Girls are being taught to get GUTSY at younger ages.

There are also many more organizations included in this second edition that are places for women to find community and ways to participate both locally and globally. Newer films have been added that have an emotional connection to the changing world in which we live.

There is a section that includes the fastest growing workforce demographic, women between the ages of 40-60, where peri-menopause and menopause is now discussed openly and how "the change" impacts women at work. For example, in corporate Japan there are "quiet rooms" where women can go to rest and reset.

Gutsy - How Women Leaders Make Change, 2nd Edition, is available at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Sylvia-Lafair/e/B0025L48WS?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1661718364&sr=8-1.

A Constitutional Convention Is A Bad Idea Says Dr. Richard Ruhling, Biblical Prophecy Expert

Dr. Richard Ruhling Biblical prophecy expert and taught Health Science at Loma Linda University.

In a recent story on Yahoo News, attributed to The New York Times, titled "A Second Constitutional Convention? Some Republicans Want To Force One," it was stated that "Rep. Jodey Arrington, a conservative Texas Republican, believes it is well past time for something the nation has not experienced for more than two centuries: a debate over rewriting the Constitution."

Dr Richard Ruhling believes that is a bad idea, for a number of reasons. He recently wrote:

When Christ was asked about the end of the world, He said to understand the book of Daniel. The 11th chapter is a battle running through centuries between Egypt, the king of the south, and Babylon, Medo-Persia, Grecia and Rome that came from the north. God’s people were caught in the middle between these warring nations, but the US is like Egypt, said Ruhling.

The children of Israel went into Egypt in time of famine and grew to become a great nation. Early Americans suffered famine for the Bread of Life when the papacy prohibited owning a Bible. Many were martyred when they were found to have a Bible in their home after Guttenberg invented the press. They risked their lives to flee Europe for freedom in the New World, according to Ruhling.

Egypt enslaved Israel and threw their babies in the river. The US has enslaved most people in alcohol, tobacco, drugs—even medical care is a form of bondage, and we have a rainbow of negative lifestyles that includes throwing 63 million babies in the trash—deserving judgment more than Egypt. (Ruhling)

The Bible defines its terms--the king of the north was the king of Babylon in Ezekiel 26, but in the time of the end, we see Babylon is identified as the papacy by clues that only fit Rome in Revelation 17.

Having fled the papacy in the Old World, early Americans understood the issues and gave us the Constitution that kept Rome out of government and it’s efforts to control legislation like the pope’s Laudato Si’ which he brought to Congress in 2015, promoting the closure of businesses on Sunday so people can be blessed by attending the eucharist.

But “Congress shall make no laws respecting the establishment of religion.” If the pope knows so much about running the world, why can’t he fix Latin America? All his people want to come here for a better opportunity. They’ve been coming since Reagan got shot and decided to go along with Rome, appointing an ambassador to the Vatican and opening our southern border to immigration. Reagan also okayed REX 84 for FEMA camps for illegal aliens.

Now the illegal aliens are ok, but conservative Christians believing in Bible prophecy are considered as potential domestic terrorists by Romeland Security since an abortion clinic got bombed years ago.

Bible prophecy shows the United Nations as the third beast in Revelation 13; it’s an image of the first beast that early American saw as the papacy. They look alike because the UN has so many Catholic member nations that vote the pope’s agenda—the UN New World Order is his route to supremacy.

Making America great is not in Catholic interest and it explains why a recent president had big trouble as so many things got twisted, in spite of better economy, jobs and fairness for all colors, says Ruhling.

There are many fine Catholic Christians who don’t understand Catholic secret societies. JF Kennedy is an example who found the idea repugnant, but he was dead a week later after saying so. Leaders of CIA, Homeland Security and other major offices tend to be members of those secret societies.

With Pope John Paul II pushing Dies Domini (Sunday) and Pope Francis also pushing Sunday in his Laudato Si’, we can be sure that a Constitutional Convention will clear the way for religious legislation.

But the UN New World Order is seen in Revelation 13 as compelling false worth (ship) for Rome’s day that has NO biblical basis. The “first day” of the week is seen only once in the book of Acts, while the Sabbath is found nine times--three of them say “every Sabbath” (Acts 13,15,18)

The 4th Commandment in Exodus 20 was made for man to rest from work as God did in a memorial to Creation. It identifies the Creator, but one of the pope’s official titles is “Lord God the Pope” and his changing the day of worship to the pagan day of sun worship was foretold of the “little horn” that grew out of the Roman Empire as it fell apart in Daniel 7, along with it’s persecution of God’s people.

“The times of this ignorance God winked at, but now commands all men everywhere to repent because He has appointed a day in which He will judge the world.” Acts 17. Ruhling says we are coming to a time of judgment and enlightenment so that God will not excuse what He has winked at till now.

As a student of prophecy, Ruhling predicts when judgment comes next year, the Vatican will be on the ground as a result of the earthquake the initiates “the day of the Lord” when God will “shake the earth terribly.” Isaiah 2:12,21. The pope will move to Israel (last verse of Daniel 11) but for everyone who understands Scripture, it will be to introduce Satan to the world as Jesus, 2Thessalonians 2. “Rome invokes Satan Lucifer again on Easter Vigil 2018” (YouTube)

A Constitutional Convention enabling Rome to further manipulate US legislation is a bad idea, says Ruhling.

Richard Ruhling, a retired MD offers a book, MegaQuake 2023, How 3 Timelines and 7 Events Signal Apocalyptic Times. It offers confirmatory signs before the earthquake and how to be protected. We will need faith to comply with Scripture. “Without faith it is impossible to please [God].” Heb 11:6.

Ruhling’s interview on CBS radio is posted on YouTube, https://youtu.be/y83Yqa9XAA8 His book is on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09W1XVVMV. He suggests clicking “Look Inside” to read before buying.

About Dr. Richard Ruhling:

After Internal Medicine training and board certification, Ruhling had a Cardiology Fellowship before teaching at Loma Linda’s School of Public Health. Attending a cardiology convention, he heard Pritikin reporting how a low fat, low cholesterol diet reversed heart disease and got 85% of patients off their drugs for diabetes and blood pressure. Ruhling developed a Total Health Seminar to help people with positive lifestyle changes to avoid high-risk pharma alternatives and at 80 is in excellent health. He can be contacted for speaking for corporate medical cost containment or by churches wanting to consider an alternate to the rapture theory. He says rapture is “at the last trumpet” (1Cor 15:52) and 7 trumpets come after the earthquake in Rev 8:5,6. Ruhling’s book, MegaQuake 2023 supports those events beginning in 2023. His seminar for churches on the wedding parables offers an alternate view.

The Big Bang Theory Begs Questions That Need To Be Asked, Says Scientist, Dr. Richard Ruhling

Richard Ruhling, MD, MPH, taught Health Science at Loma Linda University and claims the world’s best-selling book is not myths as some want to believe.

While media and some scientists paint the universe as beginning with a "Big Bang" others are not so sure. In a recent article on Yahoo, an 8-year-old child asked how that could be, because explosions destroy everything. Scientists put men on the moon, but it doesn’t mean they know how it got there, says Ruhling, asking further questions:

“Considering how scientists differ among themselves, increasing or diminishing earth’s development by millions of years, their theory begs answers to a few questions,” says Ruhling.

1. If earth exploded off the sun, how did it get an atmosphere with just the right mix of oxygen for life?

2. How did earth come to orbit the sun at just the right distance so we don’t fry or freeze?

3. How did earth develop a spin so that one side isn’t baked while the other side is always dark?

4. How did water, so necessary to life, cover most of earth after exploding from the sun?

5. If earth exploded off our sun, did the moon explode from earth? Jupiter & Saturn with 80, 83 moons?

6. Where’s the crater that our moon came from?

7. None of these questions begin to answer how life began--with random activity in a primordial soup?

8. Some scientists say a jumbo jet is more likely from an explosion in a junk yard than higher life forms.

9. For atoms to form molecules that form amino acids that form tissues that form various organs begs questions of how it all happened in a sequence that is near impossible. Famed atheist, Anthony Flew, PhD, when considering the complexity of the DNA molecule, came to believe in God.

10. Did all systems evolve at the same speed so the eyes could see plant life evolving to eat, and the digestive enzymes could break it down, and intestines absorb nutrients distributed by blood to cells and needed insulin? How did the heart get the blood vessels when it was ready to pump and did we develop kidneys (one of the most complex organs) to get rid of liquid waste and bowels for solid waste. Did men evolve at the same time as women so the race could go on with childbirth, and where did the womb come from—and at just the right time? “The fool has said in his heart, there is no God.”

11. Are we so eager to believe we came from apes that we act like apes without accountability to God?

12. Man’s inability to theorize a mind greater than his own and unwillingness to be accountable to the Source of Life could bar him from a destiny that goes beyond this life.

13. Isaiah 45 named Cyrus 100 years before he was born and told how he would conquer Babylon when two river gates were left open so Cyrus’ army entered without loss of life. Cyrus was so impressed with Israel’s God that he freed Israel and helped pay their return to their homeland; something that Muslims might consider to defuse terrorism.

14. Intelligent Design from the smallest atom to the greatest solar system begs belief in a Designer.

15. Unwillingness to acknowledge God and give Him worth (ship) has resulted in words of depravity by some atheists facing death. https://welovegod.org/guide/dying_words_of_famous_infidels/

Richard Ruhling, a retired MD has two other degrees in science. He offers a book, MegaQuake 2023, How 3 Timelines and 7 Events Signal Apocalyptic Times. It offers confirmatory signs before the event when, to be protected, we will need faith to comply with Scripture. “Without faith it is impossible to please [God].” Heb 11:6.
