Bestselling Author Jody Sharpe Takes Regional First Place Award In 2024 National Federation Of Press Women's Professional Communications Contest With New Novel, Summer Of Angels

As a former teacher of special needs children, Sharpe has direct experience regarding the effect bullying has on children. Her award-winning, bestselling books help readers find hope, inspiration and gratitude.

Bestselling author Jody Sharpe has announced that her bestselling novel, Summer Of Angels, has taken first place honors at the Regional level in the National Federation of Press Women's annual Professional Communications Contest.

Today our media headlines scream of unrest and division. In the midst of this turmoil, Jody Sharpe's books, reminiscent of the Hallmark movie genre, show us another way to look at our lives. She offers not just solace, but also a roadmap to hope. Her call against bullying not only condemns cruelty but heralds a journey towards healing and resilience.

The books go beyond mere escapism. Sharpe's words beckon us to a profound paradigm shift. They invite us to peer through a different lens, one that unveils the beauty amid the chaos, the kindness amid the cruelty. It's an invitation to not just read, but to internalize, to let the stories we immerse ourselves in shape our perceptions, infusing our daily lives with newfound strength and compassion.

Diane Donovan at Midwest Book Review stated, "Do angels come to children with special needs? In Mystic Bay, they do. As the truth emerges about the town's makeup, history, and mission, readers become immersed in a spiritual story of angels and beliefs that drive positive changes and kindness in the world and spread beyond the small town of angels.”

Books by Jody Sharpe include:

To Catch an Angel - Jody is also the author of 'To Catch an Angel', written in memory of her late husband Steve. In 'To Catch an Angel', miracles happen in Mystic Bay, California, the town with the psychic and angel vibe. Angels are calling. Psychic Maggie Malone returns home to find she's swept up in the miracle of it all. She can't imagine why her mother left or who her father might be. But these questions pale in comparison to the wonder of the angels. Maggie meets writer, Noah Greenstreet. They realize they've met before, but where? Maggie and Noah embark on a journey to find our world is all awash with angels.

The Angel's Daughter - A secret lies in Mystic Bay, California, and only two people know it. First, there’s Hannah, a tender curly-headed half-angel. Then there’s her father, Gabe, an effervescent, teddy bear of a full-blooded angel. And it’s up to Hannah to keep the secret safe, but she’s made a colossal mistake telling her ex-boyfriend and writing professor, Sam Blakely. Now he's written a book exposing the secret to the world.

Town Of Angels - Angel vs. Bully in the town of Mystic Bay, California, where a well-kept secret lies. Angels live as humans there. After angels appeared to three children, all was blissful in the town full of psychics, and ordinary folk. But as brute, Klaus Waxman, comes to town, angel Ken Leighton, a storeowner, must carefully guide his flock of humans not to give in to the bully's efforts. As Klaus opens a store mocking the resident angel sightings, angel Ken guides psychic Justine Greer, and her family to thwart his efforts. And with the help of the indomitable oldest psychic in town, Madam Norma, the bully meets his match through the soft voices and intuitive minds of his neighbors.

Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder is a memoir based on her twenty-five years teaching children with special needs. The book placed second in the National Federation Of Press Women's At-Large Communication contest. The book is as entertaining as it is illuminating. It's a love story about the special students and others who over the years graced her life with just that, their grace.

With hearts of angels and challenges to face, the children took Sharpe along their journeys and inspired her own life's journey of self-discovery. When sorrow came, their kindness helped her through. The synchronicity of events from high school to retirement changed her life for the better, turning her face toward heaven.

Midwest Book Review stated, "Sharpe's ability to see the good in circumstances and people identifies the 'special' in 'special needs' as she delineates her journey through the education system and those teaching and social encounters which changed her perspective and life."

"Teachers (especially those working with special needs kids) will find this spiritual and social reflection easily accessible. It's presented in vignettes which offer small, digestible bites of insight into a world where angels and kindness are present in more than one form."

Special Needs Children followed her recently released children's book about angels, When The Angel Sent Butterflies. The new book helps children understand that love from their parents and others surrounds them. Love conquers fear, and believing that angels are near can help sweep any childhood fear away. This concept is presented in the book when Angel Ken sends Jones and Kate butterflies. The book, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, is now available at Amazon and Ingram.

Her latest book, Summer Of Angels, is a mystery novel. Meteorologist and psychic, Gayle Force proves a force to be reckoned with as she moves back to her beloved Mystic Bay, California. While sleeping, an angel sent her a vision in a dream of a future event. Gayle realizes she must use her intuition to save an old man from drowning. But who is this old man?

With the help of intuitive attorney, Alex Knight, she finds they are caught in the middle of a future crime. But can Gayle and Alex solve the case and save the old man before it’s too late? With surprising twists and turns of intrigue and love, Gayle and Alex find there are angels at the helm as they help prove the bully never wins.

In addition, on the "Tuesdays With The Angels" section of her site, Sharpe presents stories of real-life encounters with angels. The stories are available at Sharpe's website at http://www.jodysharpe.com.

Sharpe hopes to create a collection of angel stories that involve sightings of angels, interaction with angels, miraculous angel encounters, and other types of accounts or stories. Everyone is welcome to submit angel stories. All submissions will be considered, but inclusion is not guaranteed. Stories may be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd.

Sharpe's YouTube channel brings all of this together, offering segments on all of these topics. One topic of special interest is bullying, specifically as it relates to special needs children.

In addition to the National Federation of Press Women’s award, Jody was chosen as a winner in the annual "50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading" Book Awards. She was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors through a public voting process.

Jody also announced recently that two new screen treatments of her books are now available: The Angel's Daughter and Town Of Angels Christmas.

Jody Sharpe is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at sharpejody76@gmail.com. Angel stories can be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd. Award-winning author Mark D. Walker's New Travel E-Book, The Guatemala Reader, Will Be Available At No Charge from May 27 Through May 29, 2024

Walker is the author of several award-winning articles and books. His second book, My Saddest Pleasures: 50 Years on the Road, was recognized by the Peace Corps Writers for Best Travel Writing. The Guatemala Reader debuted as a #1 New Release on Amazon and hit the Best-Seller list in Guatemalan history.

In his latest travel book, The Guatemala Reader, Extraordinary Lives and Amazing Stories, bestselling author Mark D. Walker takes readers on an epic journey through this fascinating yet often misunderstood Central American neighbor. Walker has studied and written about Guatemala for fifty years, and in this book, he focuses on some of the extraordinary people of Guatemala and their amazing stories. Given the crisis of democracy in Guatemala and the continued turmoil on our border, this is the time to understand the human realities better and take action to secure a more promising future.

Guatemala draws up to 1.8 million tourists per year, whose visits start in the largest city in Central America with brief visits to ancient Mayan ruins and contemporary Maya villages, which provide a partial folkloric understanding of Guatemalan society. Over the years, Walker traveled to places in Guatemala that most Guatemalans have never seen. He uses encounters with ordinary Guatemalans, profiles, and stories from local Mayan leaders, advocates, writers, and poets to bring a new appreciation and understanding of this country.

Maps, graphs, fact sheets, and photos support 18 stories to provide insights into the inner workings of Guatemalan society, starting with stories seen through literary and biographical prisms.

The reader can then tap into the "Yin and Yang of Travel Series," which transports the reader to the far-off reaches of the country and includes some of his "saddest pleasures"- horrendous journeys that "gave him eyes." The remaining stories focus on contemporary Guatemala, from the impact of the Peace Corps over the last 60 years to the dynamics leading to the ongoing immigration crisis, ending with an insightful overview of Guatemala's political, cultural, and economic life with a new section at the end about how individuals can make a difference through their actions and philanthropy.

The new book will be available at Amazon in eBook form at no charge from May 27 through May 29, 2024, at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Mark-D.-Walker/author/B071CZQZMC?ref=ap_rdr&isDramIntegrated=true&shoppingPortalEnabled=true.

After traveling, working, and writing about Guatemala for 50 years, I've focused this project on some of the country's extraordinary people and amazing stories," Walker stated. "The purpose of the project includes:

1.    Educate and inspire people to learn more about Guatemala.

2.    Introduce extraordinary lives and stories to generate more empathy for those heading north.

3.    Inspire others to help Guatemala actively.

Join me on this epic journey."

The new travel book has received rave reviews from readers and reviewers. Bob Graham, Author of 50-50 at 50 and Founder of the Katalysis Partnership and Namaste Direct, said, "As a 50+ year student of all things Guatemalan, I can enthusiastically say the book is a modern-day classic."

Joe Lurie, Emeritus Executive Director of UC Berkeley's International House, stated, "The Guatemala Reader offers inspiring escape hatches from misleading, oversimplified stereotypes and opens the possibility for enriching personal and humane engagement. As a former Peace Corps volunteer, like Mark, I see his book as an important and increasingly relevant and fulfilling contribution to the Third Goal of The Peace Corps' 'To help promote a better understanding of other peoples among Americans. . ."

Professor of English Literature at the University of New Mexico, Stephen Benz, said, "The Guatemala Reader is brimming with wisdom, insight, and compassion. Mark D. Walker is the ideal guide for those looking for a deeper understanding of the issues confronting Guatemala and Central America."

The great Moritz Thomsen has inspired many writers, and Walker gladly counts himself among them. Another of his travel books, My Saddest Pleasures, borrows its title from one of Thomsen's works and shines a sometimes-lovely, sometimes-piercing light on the countries he visits. In this captivating book, Walker reflects on his fifty years of travel miscalculations and disasters and how and why his travels have changed over the years, as has who he traveled with.

As a young Peace Corps Volunteer with no overseas travel experience, the world was his oyster, and he figured he could go anywhere if he set his mind to it—with little or no money. Then he married a Guatemalan lady and had to think more about "our" needs; three children meant additional requirements and responsibilities. Later, as a professional fundraiser, he set up donor visits to program areas where the organizations he represented needed funds. This meant considering the needs of up to fifteen individuals of all ages, including children and some donors in their 70s and 80s. He's become a savvier trekker, although he was still prone to the occasional snafu. The book is part of the "Yin & Yang of Travel" Series."

His first book, a memoir, 'Different Latitudes: My Life in the Peace Corps and Beyond,' was recognized by the Arizona Literary Association for Non-Fiction. More than 20 of his articles were published in journals, including Ragazine, Literary Yard, Literary Travelers, Quail Bell, WorldView, and Revue Magazines. He is a contributing writer for the Revue Magazine, a Guatemalan English language publication. He has a column in the Arizona Authors Association newsletter, "The Million Mile Walker, What We Read and Why," his reviews can also be found on the Midwest Review Book Shelf and GoodReads. "Hugs not Walls, Returning the Children" was an essay winner for the Arizona Authors Association 2020 Annual Literary Awards and was reissued in the December edition of Revue Magazine. Another article from his "Yin & Yang of Travel" series, also included here, was recognized in the Solas Literary Awards for Best Travel Writing.

The Guatemala Reader: Extraordinary Lives and Amazing Stories will be available at no charge as an eBook at Amazon from May 27 through May 29.

Are We Prejudiced Against The Middle East Asks Frances Fuller, Bestselling Author Of 'In Borrowed Houses'

Best-selling author Frances Fuller lived and worked in the Middle East for 30 years. She offers an insider's view of the situation there and provides some surprising insights that traditional media does not cover.

Today, students march in protest across university campuses. This has been compared to the protests we experienced during the Vietnam era, but this is very different. Many consider this to be a moral imperative—a rallying cry against the perceived injustices in the Middle East. Once again, we see the political divide play out before our eyes, as here is yet another chance to take sides.

Frances Fuller has an insider's view of the Middle East, as she spent 30 years there. She offered an intimate look at the Middle East experience in her bestselling book, 'In Borrowed Houses'. She recently addressed this issue on a post on her site. In that post she said in part:

"Recent unrest and demonstrations on university campuses have reminded us of student opposition to the Vietnam war, when young men with no desire to fight were objecting to being drafted and sent into battle. Critics of those demonstrations often accused the participants of being unwilling to serve their country.

"Student opposition to the war in the Middle East, except for method, is very different. The issue behind it is more about taking sides. The participants claim a moral cause, objecting to American support for Israel, our financing and sending weapons and ammunition that are being used to kill Palestinians. They feel that even their schools are involved, through financial investments.

"I confess to being hugely surprised by it all. I suspect that Joe Biden was surprised. First, because American support for Israel, right or wrong, has never wavered. And second, because Hamas initiated the current battle with a vicious surprise attack.

"Some of the posters and chants at the student demonstrations have led to accusations of prejudice and antisemitism. And this is the part I feel a need to address.

"Prejudice is a strong and obvious word. To behave with prejudice is to pre-judge, to make up your mind or react without knowing, or at least without considering the facts. (This is easy to do. I have discovered in these recent months that most Americans have no idea what might have provoked the event of October 7.)

"Antisemitism is something else, more serious than prejudice. It means 'against the Semites' (the descendants of Shem, eldest son of Noah), regardless of right or wrong or facts or circumstances. And they, the Jews, the descendants of Judah, are the semitic people. (Technically this definition includes the Arabs, who are 'cousins' to the Jews, but this fact is ignored in modern speech.)

"It was the Jews who suffered the ultimate result of hatred toward a people-group. Hitler tried to completely destroy them. And since then, any opposition to Israel is likely to be interpreted as antisemitism.

"The international problem resulting is this: The Jews established a country, 'a sovereign state' as they like to say, the state called Israel. This positioned them as a responsible member of the world community, subject to the give and take, the approval and disapproval of all the others. Yet opposition to anything this state does is likely to be interpreted, by them or others, as antisemitic.

"In this way the state of Israel sometimes wants to wear its Jewishness like a coat of armor. We can criticize the policies of France or Japan or Saudi and our points will be considered or maybe expected and ignored, but criticism of Israel will likely be interpreted as opposition to the Jews or antisemitism.

"This causes me to appreciate more than ever the diversity of the United States. It helps us respond to the world with objectivity. And the world to respond fairly, honestly, to what we do and say."

The full text of the piece is available at https://www.inborrowedhouseslebanon.com/are-we-prejudiced/

Frances Fuller’s book, In Borrowed Houses is an award-winning memoir covering eight of the 30 years she lived in the Middle East. These were years of war, involving Palestinian militias and the Israeli invasion of Lebanon.

Her second memoir, Helping Yourself Grow Old,Things I Said to Myself When I Was Almost 90 is unique among the many books on aging, because it is personal, while most such books are written from an academic point of view. Most are penned by sociologists, doctors, gerontologists, even the CEO of AARP, and one by a Catholic nun, Joan Chittister. Chittister's book, 'The Gift of Years' is beautifully written, focusing on spiritual values and finding meaning in life. Chittister admits in the preface that she was only 70, which is the front edge of aging, and her book is somewhat abstract.

Atul Gawande’s book, 'On Being Mortal', relates medicine and old age, It enjoys high Amazon rankings, in the category of “the sociology of aging.” It contains a great deal of valuable scientific information and shows understanding of the physical and emotional needs of the elderly.

Fuller’s book, 'Helping Yourself Grow Old, Things I Said To Myself When I Was Almost Ninety', is an up-close and very personal encounter with aging. It is an uncontrived and firsthand look at her own daily experiences: wrestling with physical limitations, grief, loneliness, fears, and the decisions she has made about how to cope with these and keep becoming a better person. She faces regrets and the need to forgive herself and others and is determined to live in a way that blesses her children and grandchildren.

Frances deals with many common, universal but sometimes private issues in an open, conversational tone. Her confessions and decisions invite self-searching and discussion. She tries to make sense of her own past and to understand her responsibility to younger generations. In the process she shares her daily life, enriched with memories from her fascinating experiences. Her stories and her voice — fresh, honest, irresistible — keep the reader eager for more. The end result is a book that helps create a detailed map through the challenging terrain of old age.

The result of this intimate narrative is that readers laugh, cry and identify with her mistakes and problems. Reviewers have called the book, “unique,” “honest,” “witty,” “poignant,” “challenging” and “life-changing.”

For these reasons it is a book unlike any other book on aging you will ever read. The book can serve as a primer on what lies in store for all of us, from someone who is working through many of these issues. While the book is a perfect fit for book clubs, there are many other individuals and groups who could benefit from the information and ideas in the book:

Those approaching retirement
People who are currently retired
Children of aging parents
Those who have lost a spouse
Retirement community discussion groups
Counselors
Educators
Life coaches
Church groups (men and women)

and a host of others. For group discussions, Fuller has made a set of discussion questions available at her website at http://www.FrancesFullerAuthor.com.

Readers have lavished praise on the new book. One Amazon review stated, "I find myself thinking,'I need to read this again and take notes!' It’s full of wisdom, humor, and grace. I also have committed to rereading it annually - it’s that important!" Another said, "There is valuable life experience in this book. Helping Yourself Grow Old is truly is a book for all ages, and one not to be missed." Another stated, "Beautifully written book telling timeless truths, for both the old and the young. Highly recommend this book for anyone who loves to laugh, cry, and learn wisdom from someone who has lived so much life."

Frances' prior work, 'In Borrowed Houses', has taken three industry awards and has achieved Bestseller status. Frances Fuller was the Grand Prize winner in the 2015 '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' Book Awards. It received the bronze medal for memoir in the Illumination Book Awards in 2014. Northern California Publishers and Authors annually gives awards for literature produced by residents of the area. In 2015 'In Borrowed Houses' received two prizes: Best Non-fiction and Best Cover.

Critics have also praised ‘In Borrowed Houses.’ A judge in the 22nd Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards called 'In Borrowed Houses' “ . . a well written book full of compassion . . . a captivating story . . . ”. Another reviewer described the book as “Wise, honest, sensitive, funny, heart-wrenching . . .”. Colin Chapman, lecturer in Islamic Studies at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut said, “ . . . western Christians and Middle Eastern Christians need to read this story…full of remarkable perceptiveness and genuine hope.”

Frances has shared stories about her life in an interview with Women Over 70, and a recording is available on their Facebook page.

Frances Fuller is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at frances0516@att.net. The full text of her latest article is available at her website. Fuller's book is available at Amazon and other book retailers. A free ebook sample from 'In Borrowed Houses' is available at http://www.payhip.com/francesfuller. Frances Fuller also blogs on other issues relating to the Middle East on her website at http://www.inborrowedhouseslebanon.com.

About Frances Fuller:

Frances Fuller spent thirty years in the violent Middle East and for twenty-four of those years was the director of a Christian publishing program with offices in Lebanon. While leading the development of spiritual books in the Arabic language, she survived long years of civil war and invasions.

Reimagining Christian Fiction - Bestselling Author Joseph Ganci Announces No Charge Download Of New Ebook, Second David, Trials And Tribulations

The new eBook paints a vivid portrait of ancient Biblical history, achieving remarkable depth, clarity, and consistency in "The Empire of Israel" series. All the eBooks in the series have achieved bestseller status.

Joseph Ganci, the author of three bestselling books in the Empire Of Israel series, is offering his latest eBook, 'Second David, Trials and Tribulations,' for free on Amazon from May 20 through May 24, 2024. Don't miss this opportunity to delve into the world of 'The Empire of Israel' series at no cost.

Prepare to be captivated by a fresh perspective on biblical history. In 'Second David, Trials and Tribulations,' Ganci masterfully weaves an epic historical tapestry, rich with penetrating insight and colored by insurrection, coups, and civil wars. This is not your typical historical fiction-it's a gripping journey through the ancient world, an enhanced history that mirrors present-day headlines about Israel, Jerusalem, and power politics. And it's all backed up by solid research and accepted historical connections.

Reviewer Cecelia Hopkins called ‘Second David’ “a must-read for lovers of Christian literature and historical fiction.” Reviewer Essian Asian said, “Joseph Ganci masterfully blends historical narrative with captivating facts to create an engrossing read. This gives us a much more credible picture of David than we would have from any other source. Ganci's storytelling style highlights the attention to detail that fills in the gaps in the story concerning questions readers might have about David's failings. ‘Second David: Trials And Tribulations’ is one book historical fiction buffs will enjoy. “

The novel unveils the near miss of David's son Absalom's assassination attempt and the betrayal by Ahithophel Bathsheba’s grandfather, the only man alive David feared. He was once David's trusted friend and prime minister. Ahithophel's contempt for David leads to a failed coup and an orchestrated insurrection, plunging the kingdom into civil war.

The book meshes historical facts with the excitement of an action-packed adventure novel. Our version of this history is like a puzzle, missing many of its pieces. ‘Second David’ provides those missing pieces and reveals the consequences of David’s self-imposed judgment and punishment, which balance the scales of justice.

This is not just another biblical saga; it's a revelation, painting a new portrait of ancient Israel, Jerusalem, and the profound impact of one man's choices. It is an unforgettable exploration of an era that continues to shape the capital of Israel, even today.

Readers and reviewers alike have praised both of Ganci's first two books in the series:

"Although most people are aware of the story of David and Goliath, the giant, 'David: God's Chosen Crucible' by Joseph Ganci is a brilliant retelling of all the stories about the Shepard boy who would one day become a King of Israel. Reading with all the informational value of a history textbook is deftly combined with the entertainment of an action/adventure novel."
Michael J. Carson Reviewer for Midwest Book Review.

"David God's Chosen Crucible is intelligently plotted, well-researched, and expertly executed. The writing by Joseph Ganci is wonderful, and the author has the gift of filling the narrative with exciting details, describing a setting that is colorful and transports readers to biblical times." - Christian Sia for Readers' Favorite.

"Joseph delivers an extremely believable story that fills the gaps smoothly and neatly packs various events into an intense, multiple-viewpoint narrative. The book also contains several lessons and messages to help believers grow in faith and knowledge about God's ways."
Foluso Falaye - San Francisco book review.

All of the books are available on Amazon in e-book and paperback versions. Audio versions of Gideon and David God's Chosen Crucible are currently available.

Ganci takes a ground-breaking and revelatory path in his quest to bring awe-inspiring stories to life and, ultimately, to film. He believes that connecting facts is far more enchanting than loosely fitting fantasies. He works within an engaging and dramatized fiction framework that remains faithful to uphold spiritual principles while exceedingly rich in detail.

Ganci bases his work on three primary pillars:

The rock-solid cornerstone is historical biblical geography.

The creative arch is revelatory in its timing and issues.

The research is concrete and firmly rooted in customs, languages, and traditions.

Ganci fills in the blanks with rock-solid research and prophetic revelations. It is a style that has allowed him to create breakthrough approaches that are exciting and breathtaking while remaining within the limits of sound biblical teachings.

Ganci is also the creator of 'Incredible Bible Mysteries,' a five-part video series now available on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK0Op2dYhMXtz7nh2D__keQ.

Ganci believes that Old Testament revelations are the Word of God. Simultaneously, many needful details remained buried until the information age of discovery made them prominent and visible to the naked eye. These insights create a middle ground of understanding. As a dedicated and highly motivated researcher, he proposes many undiscovered nuggets of spiritual gold in the original manuscripts. He shines a new light on ancient texts and removes the black-or-white argument of the all-or-nothing question of modern-day revelations. He is adept at untangling philosophical and theological human-made knots. He allows us to look at what some consider foregone conclusions.

Readers of his bestseller, 'Gideon: The Sound and the Glory,' will learn about the Jewish Tabernacle, the Ark of the Covenant, the mysterious Golden Ephod, why David found himself at battle with Goliath, and much much more. This work illuminates the dark corners of scripture while engaging readers in a gripping narrative.

Joseph Ganci was honored as one of the '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading in the 2017 Book Awards. 'Gideon: The Sound and the Glory’ has received rave reviews from readers and reviewers alike. A recent reviewer stated, "Joseph Ganci's prose is arresting, peppered with fantastic imagery and succinct descriptions of plot, characters, and setting. The themes rise to a masterful recreation. They are woven into the story to allow the reader to enjoy its inspiration and the accompanying action. The book explores powerful spiritual and political themes, capturing the conflicts and dynamics of life within the community of God's chosen people. Gideon: The Sound and the Glory will appeal to fans of political thrillers, adventure, and conflict-driven stories laced with intense action." Other reviewers have used phrases such as "riveting," "amazing," "deftly crafted," and "highly recommended."

Prophecy Expert Richard Ruhling Urges Climate, Earthquake and Grid Preparedness for “Dark Day”

Dr. Richard Ruhling Biblical is a prophecy expert and taught Health Science at Loma Linda University. He predicted war with Iraq before 9-11, based on Christ’s saying to read the book of Daniel.

Googling “Dark Day” reveals May 19, 1780 as a historic day that was unexplainably dark by some accounts, and New Englanders took it as a sign of Christ’s coming, but it repeated when Mount St. Helens erupted, putting ash into the sky that wind carried overnight to darken three NW states on May 19, 1980.

Too amazing for mere coincidence, Richard Ruhling, Bible prophecy expert who predicted war with Iraq before 9-11, says Israel and Jerusalem have represented God’s people for most of Bible history and to see United Nations vote against Israel suggests God is going to “clean house” in preparation for end-times when his kingdom will be set up, but not as a UN New World Order that globalists expect.

Ruhling explains an impending dark day because May 19 has unique biblical timing. When Christ said, “No man knows the day or hour,” He finished the sentence with “but as the days of Noah,” Matthew 24. Noah entered the ark on the 10th day of the second spring month when a sacrifice was later selected for Passover in Exodus 12. When people refused Noah’s invitation, they selected themselves as a sacrifice.

It seems like history is divided by people who pay attention to God’s messages and those who do their own thing. For example, in spite of Israel observing the 7th day as the Sabbath of the 4th Commandment, they have historically failed to count the sevens to rest the land every 7th year, or the 70 sevens of Daniel 9 pointing to Messiah in the 69th week of years, and for their rejection, Jerusalem was burned in verse 26. A final example is Leviticus 26 where God said they would be punished seven times if they walked contrary to God and they did for 390 years, Ezekiel 4.

7 x 390 is 2730 years. Sennacherib took them into exile in 722 BC. 2730 – 722 = 2008, but no “0” year for Messiah’s birth, so they were not free to return until 2009. 90% of the Jews in Israel have no interest in God; they came for free land from the UN. Unready for fulfilled Jews who accept Messiah and Christians who accept Moses’ law (Malachi 4) as compatible for the kingdom in Ezekiel 37 where two sticks become one, God is going to “clean house.”

In spite of 98% of Christians and Jews thinking Israel today is a miracle of God, they will be taken out by Muslims like God allowed Jerusalem to be taken by Babylon when they failed to honor him.

“The day of the Lord comes.” Nations will be gathered against Jerusalem. Houses rifled, women raped, half the city will go into captivity, Zechariah 14. Ruhling speculates that Muslims will celebrate their Quran that says, “Allah has no Son” when suddenly, “the Lord shall roar from Jerusalem…heavens and earth shall shake,” Joel 3. They will flee.

The Bible says God won’t do anything without revealing it, Amos 3. He wants to reveal the earthquake that’s encoded in the next verses as a lion’s roar. Christ is the Lion of Judah, Revelation 5. His roar will shake the earth and we may expect it if May 19 is a “Dark Day” as suggested by it being like the days of Noah on the 10th day, 2nd spring month.

The Bible says the day of the Lord is a day of darkness, Joel 2, and unlike any before it. This suggests an EMP attack of the power grid with loss of electricity. Jonathan Hollerman, Deputy Director of Homeland Security was amazed that we haven’t had one because it would be easy to do with a high-altitude nuclear explosion over US Midwest. Knocking out transformers coast to coast could cause starvation in the cities because truckers couldn’t get fuel.

Expecting the possibility, Ruhling urges Bible believers to buy some seeds and take a long weekend May 17-19 to visit a rural area for a farmer who might like help with a garden and is willing to rent you a space for your RV/tent if May 19 is dark. The small investment of time could be life-saving, not only from starvation but an earthquake a week later when the Flood came. Space weather experts are saying EMP is coming from the sun, trouble in any case. This is offered in a Youtube interview by Ben Davidson on DarkHorse LIVE at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0Gz7w3l_uE.

In our time we could expect a flood of aliens coming to loot the cities as an “overflowing scourge” in Isaiah 28. God will punish cities for crime, violence (the Hebrew word in Genesis 6:13 is Hamas!) and negative lifestyles that the not-so Supreme Court and Biden administration has favored.

Can Coma Survivors Remember Their Experiences? Author Saverio Monachino, A Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Does And He Gives Readers A Look In His New Psychological Fiction Novel, Little Bit Of Faith

Saverio Monachino amalgamates an odd collection of authors like John Irving, Tom Robbins, and Louise Penny into one, and the servings he presents—psychological fiction thrillers—come complete with a side order of comedy. Saverio believes adding a bit of humor helps wash down the truth while he discusses how open to interpretation the human condition can be.

Saverio Monachino’s traumatic brain injury left him in a coma. It took a while but, when he made it back to a conscious state, he had a story to tell.  This story became the basis for his new psychological fiction novel, "Little Bit of Faith." The book is a masterful work of fiction that is unlike any medical thriller available today. Through skillful storytelling and rich character development, the book offers a captivating and often humorous exploration of the creativity of the human mind and the interconnectedness of existence. The book leaves readers pondering the nature of true faith, the boundaries of one’s perception, the foundations of belief, family love, religious fanaticism, and the meaning of existence, long after the final page is turned. There is a message. It is one word, four letters.

Dr. Selwood (a neuropsychologist) had a real doozy of a case assigned to her: Dr. Arthur McAiden. When McAiden first began his outpatient stint at the Kessler Institute, he had trouble stringing cognitive sentences together. Selwood suggested he write his thoughts down, and so he did. At first, he wrote of the accident itself, which had her wondering how, if he was comatose, he knew what he did. Then his story moved on and intertwined his recovery process with what she believed to be a work of fiction. If he was trying to have fun at her expense, she did not know. Either way, it didn't matter, but when he moved on and began describing his take on the triune others have used to describe his faith, she wanted to file this away in the circular trash can beside her desk. Then one of his characters came to life and paid her a visit. While her patient had struggled to re-enter the three-dimensional space those living on earth call home, Dr. Selwood, in turn, now struggled to accept the continuum of life Arthur had presented to her.

"I wrote this book," Monachino stated, "because, as my ability to exist in the three-dimensional space we live in returned, memories of what I experienced began to fade.  The story is fiction, the underlying revelations, I hope, are closer to reality."

Monachino is also the author of a murder mystery titled "By Any Means." Leaking top-secret information to the Press happens all the time. Just ask those holding office in Washington D.C. Up north in Montreal, Inspector Gervais has experienced a perfect storm of this art. Gervais’s story started on a typical summer night with a slightly overweight grocer sitting on the roof reciting poetry, dressed from head to toe in leather, and watching a man in the alley commit murder … with a hard salami. His life literally falls into the hands of the good Inspector, and that’s when the fun begins. “What,” Inspector Gervais wants to know, “do an overweight grocer, Batman, tax attorneys, a dysfunctional Italian family, city politics, and an esoteric secret society that may or may not be the remnants of the Knights Templar have in common?” Not much, but this is all he has to go on as he races to solve a gruesome murder By Any Means. Montreal in the summertime can be fun; murder can be funnier.

Saverio Monachino is available for media interviews and can be reached by email at r1234f56r@yahoo.com. More information is available on his website at https://comicfictionnoir.com.

"A Little Bit of Faith" and "By Any Means" are available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/s?i=stripbooks&rh=p_27%3ASaverio+Monachino&s=relevancerank&text=Saverio+Monachino&ref=dp_byline_sr_book_1.

About Saverio Monachino:

Saverio Monachino has worked in the Bio-Pharmaceutical arena in various regions of the U.S. and Canada (and dragged his family along with him). He had discovered compounds that advanced into clinical trials while managing large R&D teams. Things happen, life changes, comas come and when lucky, they go, and now, as a TBI survivor, he has had to, as the saying goes, ‘move the cheese’. Now, he lives, writes, and has fun.

One book he co-authored, "Frenchtown New Jersey: History Along the River," during his free time while helping run a bookstore in Frenchtown NJ. During his recovery process, he also organized a radio theatre troop which performed both on air and on stage and, more recently, became a founding member of a very distinguished philosopher’s guild where old men can pontificate on any topic they wish while asking the proverbial question ‘is anyone listening to me?’. Of course, first and foremost, writing about the experiences within his head while comatose is what drives his works of fiction

Dr. Richard Ruhling Reveals What An Attack On Jerusalem May Mean

Dr. Richard Ruhling Biblical is a prophecy expert and taught Health Science at Loma Linda University. He predicted war with Iraq before 9-11, based on Christ’s saying to read the book of Daniel.

The situation in the Middle East has become a political powder keg. Dr. Richard Ruhling believes there is much happening today that was foretold thousands of years ago in the Bible. He recently commented on the situation as seen from a Biblical perspective:

“Daniel’s vision for our time may be seen as a conflict between a militant ram pushing from the Middle East that angers a goat. It flies from the west to break the ram’s horns (militancy). The horns represent the kings of Media and Persia—areas that are now Iraq and Iran, Daniel 8:7,17,20.

“The US doesn’t want war with Iran—there were no weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq—What makes the goat angry to fight the ram? In Luke 21, Christ cited Zechariah 14 that nations would be gathered against Jerusalem. It says, ‘The houses will be rifled, the women ravished…half the city goes into captivity,’ and war is implied.

Ruhling speculates they will celebrate their victory and their Quran that says, “Allah has no Son.”

“Suddenly, ‘The Lord shall roar from Jerusalem…the heavens and earth shall shake.’ Joel 3:16. Christ is Lion of Judah in Revelation 5 and when he roars, an earthquake causes them to flee in ‘day of the Lord” context. Zechariah 14. What does that mean?

When God executed judgment on Egypt at Passover, it was ‘the night of the Lord’ in Exodus 12. As day follows night, the day of the Lord is likely a time of judgment, a word that’s translated from the Greek word, krisis. Crisis in Chinese has two characters, danger and opportunity--that’s how some see an economic time of upheaval that Ruhling says will surprise the elite with a “reset” they weren’t expecting. Ruhling thinks God sees the future better than we see the past.

“An example is the prophet Isaiah’s 45th chapter naming Cyrus and telling how he would conquer Babylon when two river gates were left open. Cyrus knew nothing about Isaiah’s writings taken from Jerusalem 70 years earlier, but Cyrus diverted the Euphrates River into a reservoir and marched under Babylon’s wall at night to discover two gates left open.

“Cyrus conquered Babylon with minimal loss of life. When Daniel showed him his name in Isaiah’s scroll, Cyrus was so impressed with Israel’s God that he freed them to return home and helped pay their way with a donation for their temple.

“Israel has Donald Trump engraved on a coin as Cyrus II, but Trump hasn’t had opportunity to do what Cyrus I did.

Ruhling sees a parallel in horns of Daniel 8. The first horn on the ram was caught in a bush that was sacrificed instead of Isaac when God tested Abraham in Genesis 22. “Caught in a bush? George Bush caught the first horn. Saddam is dead.”

The goat has a great horn in Daniel 8. In Bible times, animal horns were used to make trumpets. Ruhling thinks Trump may be represented by the great horn that makes the goat great in verse 8.

"Ben Carson, a Sunday Guest Speaker (YouTube) appealed for 'people of good will to get over their pet peeves because they don’t like a person. They say, I don’t like him and I’m not voting for him—I’m just going to stay home. Don’t they realize if they do that, they are voting for socialism?' Ben Carson has a great track record and would make a great VP pick for Trump and Trump may not last long."

But the great horn breaks, suggesting premature death, possibly assassination? Ruhling wonders, recalling that Biden was VP under Obama who said the US will never be at war with Islam, but some see Trump as the only horse in the race to be Commander in Chief.

Millions believe the election was stolen in spite of facts claimed by media. A Tucker Carlson interview re a poll of voters revealed 20% of voters admitted fraud to favor Biden in a carefully worded survey. Carlson says, Trust your gut. Ruhling says, Trust the Bible—the evidence supports accurate foreknowledge by the world’s best-selling book.

“God used a heathen king of Babylon to punish Jerusalem. Maybe again ‘when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies,’ God will use someone who does not seem like a Christian. This ‘Christian’ nation is more guilty than Egypt for enslaving people (in substances—even medical care is bondage when most people could be well if they ate wisely) and we have a rainbow of negative lifestyles thrown 63 million babies in the trash, worse that Egypt’s thrown in the Nile.”

Ruhling believes God will allow Jerusalem to be taken because 90% of the Jews there have no interest in God—they came for free land from the UN and God will let Muslims get Jews out before chasing Muslims with an earthquake that ‘will shake the world terribly,’ last verses of Isaiah 2.
