Rev. Terry Allan Christian sees four real problems with Christianity today. He believes many Christian leaders have lost the focus of the True Message of Christ. He hopes to re-establish believers' personal relationship with Jesus Christ through his new book, ‘What Did Jesus Say: The Seven Messages from the Master'
Rev. Terry Allan Christian’s singular mission is to reestablish true Christian values in the most powerful way – by presenting only the words actually spoken by Jesus Christ. In his ministry and in his message, there is no place for politics, personal opinions or interpretations carefully crafted to increase contributions. ‘What Did Jesus Say: The Seven Messages From The Master’, focuses solely on the words spoken by Jesus and nothing more.
Reverend Christian believes many pastors, evangelists and others have lost the focus and the passion of the True Message of Jesus and lead followers in directions never intended by Jesus. ‘What Did Jesus Say’ serves as a beginning to the return to what Jesus really intended. In a recent public statement he clearly identified four primary issues that take away from the core message of true Christianity.
1. Mega Prosperity “personality driven” preachers who are too big to fail.
2. Preachers bickering among themselves and attacking each other without the love to help one another.
3. Evangelists / Preachers who make it sound so easy to be "born again".
4. Non-Practicing Christians - Those who embarrass Christianity by their false confessions and dishonest behavior, while professing to be a Christian.
“As a boy,” stated Reverend Christian, “I was raised on Oral Roberts, Jimmy Swaggart and the great Billy Graham. Then as I got older, I remember watching Richard Roberts, Robert Schuller, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn and Jim Bakker and now, at 61, I am watching Paul Crouch, Paula White, Joyce Meyers, Creflow Dollar, TD Jakes, Mike Murdock and Joel Osteen.”
“Now,” he continued, “what do these preachers all have in common? Outside of Billy Graham, they all lived or live multi-million dollar lavish lifestyles as favored Christian Kings and Queens in America, all the while claiming to ‘need your money’ to help them feed and clothe the needy worldwide. Is this the message Jesus taught? Are they not aware of the public embarrassment this ‘type of hype’ brings to Christianity? Is this the true message of Jesus?
Reverend Christian’s latest book, 'What Did Jesus Say: The Seven Messages from the Master', organizes the teachings of Jesus in a special format, using only the words spoken by Jesus and nothing more. The book puts readers into an imagined walk with Jesus on the beach, allowing readers to hear over 500 passages spoken by Him.
Featuring the "best of the best" of what Jesus said, the new book is one of a kind. The scriptures, stripped of everything save for the words spoken directly by Jesus, have been reordered and organized into seven primary messages. At the bottom of each page are reference notes to find the chapter and verse from which the sayings are drawn in the Bible. The book is perfect for individual daily devotional, Bible study groups or spiritual retreats. It is appropriate for all Christians - the young, the old, the new believers and the life-long followers of Jesus Christ who really want to know specifically what Jesus said regarding these topics.

About Rev. Terry Allan Christian:
Since dedicating his life to Jesus, Terry has constantly studied the red lettered version of the Gospels as recorded in the NKJB, always concentrating on the words of Jesus and the example of His actions. His acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior has been pivotal in carrying him through all his life challenges.
He developed a severe stuttering problem while growing up in a violently dysfunctional family, causing him to drop out of high school at the age of 16 and leave home with little hope for success in life. Terry’s world changed forever when, at age 23, the Holy Spirit spoke to him in a life-altering vision. In this vision, he was told that one day he would be a teacher of Christian principles. At the time, he stuttered so badly he was embarrassed to talk with anyone. Immediately following this vision, God miraculously healed his stuttering. He was also blessed to meet a man who taught him how to read a book a day and he began to study the best books ever written on the subject of personal development.
Since his studies began over 30 years ago, he has met and worked with some of the greatest thinkers and Motivational Speakers in modern-day America. He became a motivational speaker and corporate trainer himself, and taught over 2500 seminars and workshops throughout America and Canada. He always encouraged his audiences to pick up their Bibles, read the “words of Jesus” and make up their own mind, what’s real and true.
One day while in prayer, Terry felt the Holy Spirit re-directing his life. He was told to write a book containing only the words of Jesus. A book that would teach believers without interpretation, opinion or commentary. So he retired as a public speaker and began composing the book, 'What Did Jesus Say: The Seven Messages from the Master'. It would take him twelve years to complete this calling.
Today, he leads Foundations for Life Ministries and lives in Atlantic Beach, Florida, where he counsels individuals and couples seeking a more mature understanding of their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Rev. Christian believes his calling is to help his brothers and sisters in Christ live in a never-ending state of love, truth and forgiveness. He says after "repentance", this was the main message Jesus taught; and teaching the way by the word is the cornerstone on which his book and ministry is founded.
