Fantasy Fiction Author Laura Hughes Announces Free Download From Inspirational Book For Teens, 'The Sara Chronicles'
Fantasy fiction author Laura Hughes has announced a free download sample from her highly praised inspirational fantasy fiction book, 'The Sara Chronicles'.
In the tradition of 'Lord Of The Rings' and 'Harry Potter', Laura Hughes builds entire worlds peopled with heroic role models that young readers find irresistible. Hughes' characters are richly drawn and teach young people important life skills and are filled with magic, monsters, legends and high adventures.
"To begin at the beginning is the best way isn't it? And so, I start to describe myself and why I write; I write because I cannot imagine not writing," Hughes stated. "I have a million stories swimming around in my head and I have to slow down and try to organize them in order of priority. In other words, I have to decide which story has to be told first and which ones will have to be told at a later time. But, rest assured, I will make time to put them all on paper because there is something inside me that will not let any of them die in obscurity. From the minute I began to write something inside me come alive and for the first time in a long time, I made sense. The words and me, we just fit together like a pair of slippers on tender feet. I love putting my ideas together and sharing them with other people and despite the fact that I have spent more money promoting and marketing my works than I have managed to earn so far, I couldn’t stop now if I tried. If I could spend the rest of my days filling up every spare piece of paper with meaningful words and passing them along to others, I would consider myself the most fortunate person because it’s the closest thing I can imagine to heaven on earth."
Other books in 'The Sara Chronicles' include 'Evolution Of Us - Book 2', 'The Return - Book 3', 'Chaos, Confusion and Changing Of The Guard - Book 4', 'The Great Unknown and All That Lies Beneath It - Book 5', and 'Into Darkness We Go - Up Above And Down Below - Book 6' and 'Stories New, Stories Old - Things Re-written and Things Foretold - Book 7'. Complete information on all of her adventure books for teens is available at her website.
Hughes' works have received rave reviews from readers. One stated, "A grand reading adventure for young and old alike . . .' Another said, "This book was impossible to put down . . ."

Fantasy Fiction Author Laura Hughes Releases New Adventure Book For Teens, 7th Book In 'The Sara Chronicles' Series
Fantasy fiction author Laura Hughes has released the 7th book in 'The Sara Chronicles' series, ' Sara Chronicles Book Seven - Stories New, Stories Old - Things Re-written and Things Foretold'.
"As an author I am excited to share my imagination with others," Hughes stated. "There are worlds and characters in my mind that just have to come out and see the light of day and express themselves to reader. I want to take readers to magical lands and have them cheer these young heroes through all their successes and worry about their safety through all their failures, for in them, is a little bit of all of us. Circumstances may differ somewhat in each person’s life, but there are things that we face on a daily basis that challenge us to persevere and overcome. We are all heroes in our own story."
In the storyline of Book 7, there have always been two versions of the fate of the worlds- one is written in a light volume authored by Iam creator of all that is good and the other in a dark book authored by Braccus - the embodiment of all evil. The endings of both books are fluid and ever-changing, the outcome being uncertain - and in this last great battle of both entities - it is winner take all.
Sara, Thomas and James are dead - stuck in the afterworld fighting Braccus’s evil thoughts and lost souls while trying to find their way back to their, currently un-occupied bodies somewhere far below them. With only the idea that it might be possible to live again, they race toward a sweet, loving voice guiding them down to an uncertain future with the promise of renewal and a chance to be useful to the embattled worlds again. That voice belongs to Marlaina- the Keeper whose voice can call souls back to their bodies and restore life. She is but one of the brave Keepers who dwell in the seven worlds, fighting daily to stay alive and protect the helpless survivors of a planet whose surface has been destroyed. Though the refugees have existed underground for four long years, made comfortable by the gifts of The Keepers, Braccus has been busy re-writing their fate. In order to protect the hidden members of humanity- The Keepers have to return to the surface and engage in battle in places that only exist in nightmares. With no guarantee they will succeed in their mission, they fight on to reclaim Iam’s worlds and protect the humans he loves so dearly. Sara’s return is their last great hope- but the dead, like the living, having chosen sides and will fight just as fiercely to conquer their foes.

Pennsylvania Author Rene Daniel Announces Dramatic Increase In Sales Of 'Spear Of Seth' And The Release Of A New Novel

Daniel describes his genre as ‘Falenture’, a blend of fantasy, legend and adventure. ‘Spear Of Seth', written in the spirit of ‘Indiana Jones’ and ‘House Of Anubis’ takes modern day archaeologists into the Egyptian Underworld. 'Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla', his next fantasy adventure novel, is slated for release in mid 2012
Pennsylvania author Rene Daniel's fantasy adventure novel, ‘Spear of Seth’, is written in the spirit of 'Indiana Jones' and 'House of Anubis'. The novel takes modern day archaeologists into the Egyptian Underworld. 'Spear Of Seth' is a blend of fantasy, legend and adventure. Daniel has termed this new genre ‘Falenture’. His next novel, 'Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla', follows the same popular format.
"Storylines such as those found in the 'Indiana Jones' series and 'House Of Anubis'," said Mr. Daniels, "never seem to go out of favor with the book buying public. These type of stories all the reader to live vicariously and to lose themselves in the story. I believe the blend of fantasy, legend and adventure, something I've termed 'Falenture', is responsible for the increased popularity and readership of 'Spear Of Seth'."
Alex Khyan, the protagonist of ‘Spear of Seth’, is a premed student of the Van Senmut College, who gets a summer job as a translator at an archeological dig at the island of Elephantine in the Upper Egypt. Here he meets Heather Van Senmut and her father, John Van Senmut, a grandson of the founder of the college and the archeologist in charge of the excavations. The dig is not just some dig; it is the ruins of the Temple of Osiris, which stands at the mythical place where Nile emerges from the Egyptian Underworld. When John Van Senmut, falls ill and physicians give up on him, his daughter decides to search the Temple for the cause of the disease and possibly a cure. Her quest leads her, and her unwilling helper Alex, into the Netherworld, which survived the Egyptian civilization by two thousand years. They negotiate its dangers, as well as dangers that come from their contemporaries. They do have only one guide – the Book of Gates, which decorates the sarcophagus of the pharaoh Seti.
"In 'Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla'," continued Mr. Daniel, "I hope to be able to build upon the success of 'Spear Of Seth' and to continue to offer readers another novel that combines fantasy, legend and adventure".
Mr. Daniel is offering a no-charge electronic copy of "Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla’ to anyone who writes a review for 'Spear Of Seth' on Amazon or on their own blog.
Rene Daniel is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at rene_daniel@verizon.net. More information on the author, the novel and the review offer is available at his website. ‘Spear of Seth’ is available at his website, Amazon and most online book retailers.
Profile:
In his other life, Rene Daniel is a physician and a researcher in the fields of gene therapy, HIV and aging. Writing is his great love. He refers to his genre as FALENTURE - a mix of fantasy, legends and adventure.
Unlike a classical fantasy, FALENTURE builds on and sticks close to epic legends of human history, and asks a question: what if they are/were real? Is there really an Egypt Underworld? Was there really a Lost City of Z? What if the mysterious late inventions of Nikola Tesla worked? A FALENTURE could be compared to a combination of Lord Of Rings, The DaVinci Code and Indiana Jones.

Pennsylvania author Rene Daniel has released ‘Spear of Seth’. The novel takes modern day archaeologists into the Egyptian Underworld. The book, written in the spirit of ‘Indiana Jones’ and ‘House Of Anubis’ is a blend of fantasy, legend and adventure. Daniel has termed this new genre ‘Falenture’.
“I wrote Spear of Seth,” Daniel said, “as I wanted to share the wonderful world of ancient Egypt, the fascinating mythology, and above all, the sense of how everything is possible, which we have when we are young, and some of us retain forever. There is fantasy, legend and adventure in ‘Spear of Seth' and plenty of them.”
Alex Khyan, the protagonist of ‘Spear of Seth’, is a premed student of the Van Senmut College, who gets a summer job as a translator at an archeological dig at the island of Elephantine in the Upper Egypt. They negotiate its dangers, as well as dangers that come from their contemporaries. They do have only one guide – the Book of Gates, which decorates the sarcophagus of the pharaoh Seti.
“The closest we can come,” continued Daniel, “to challenges like those the Spear of Seth heroes face in the Egypt Underworld is to lose ourselves in a great book.”
Mr. Daniel is offering a no-charge copy of the sequel of ‘Spear of Seth’ to anyone who writes a review for novel on Amazon or on their own blog.
