Eric DelaBarre, Author Of 'Saltwater Taffy', Now Appearing On The Book Marketing Show

Don McCauley recently interviewed Eric DelaBarre, author and award winning filmmaker, on a segment of The Book Marketing Show. The show is airing currently at The Book Marketing Show site.

Don McCauley interviewed Eric DelaBarre recently for a segment of  The Book Marketing Show. Eric DelaBarre is the author of 'Saltwater Taffy'. He is an award winning filmmaker, speaker, and ghostwriter for Random House/Harmony Books.  Eric began his career with Universal Studios on NBC's mega-hit drama, Law & Order. DelaBarre's engaging book, 'Saltwater Taffy' follows the lives of five friends as they uncover a treasure map that once belonged to the ruthless New Orleans pirate, Jean Lafitte.  The discovery thrusts them from one treasure hunting adventure to the next as they try to out-wit, out-think and out-maneuver everyone from a one-legged junk yard man and an overbearing town bully, to the creepy old man living at the top of the hill.

"We believe The Book Marketing Show offers a real opportunity for authors, publishers, self published authors and publishing companies," stated Mr. McCauley. Patty Wiseman, Author Of ‘An Unlikely Arrangement’, To Appear On KETK News, Tyler TX, On May 1, 2012

Wiseman will talk about her latest historical romance novel, ‘An Unlikely Arrangement’. The interview will air at 11:40 am Central. Wiseman has also released her appearance schedule for the month of May 2012

Author Patty Wiseman will appear on Texas news station KETK News to discuss her latest historical romance novel, ‘An Unlikely Arrangement’, on May 1, 2012 at 11:40 am Central time. As a romance novelist, Wiseman has been called a ‘master of the unexpected twist’ who produces contagious storylines. In ‘An Unlikely Arrangement’, three lives intertwine through the differing worlds of high society, middle-class life, and organized crime, culminating in an engagement, a kidnapping, a misunderstanding and a murder. The story is set in 1929 Detroit.

“I wrote this book,” stated Ms. Wiseman, “because my fascination with the era that redefined modern womanhood, The Roaring Twenties, had a personal meaning for me. The main character is fashioned from my grandmother’s arranged marriage in a dangerous time in Detroit, Michigan. I spin the tale of a strong willed woman trying to take charge of her own destiny, and mix in mystery, unusual twists, and romance.”

Patty Wiseman is the daughter of a WWII Navy vet who survived Pearl Harbor. She was raised in Washington State, attended The Wesleyan College in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, then moved to Northeast Texas where she has resided for over 30 years. Several of her short stories have been published in 'Angie's Diary'. 'An Unlikely Arrangement', an historical romance novel, was published with Desert Coyote Productions. There are two more in the works. One is a romantic comedy. Her most recent award is a 2012 Roughdraft short story contest where she placed 2nd.

Wiseman will be making a number of appearances in the Tyler Texas area in coming weeks. Her appearance and book signing schedule includes:

April 27  --  1:30pm - 4:30pm  --  Waskom Library  --  Waskom TX
May 4  --  10am - 12pm  --  Pittsburg Library  --  Pittsburg TX
May 11  --  10am - 1pm  --  Athens Library  --  Athens TX
May 12  --  2pm - 5-pm  --  McAlisters Deli  --  Athens TX
May 25  --  10am - 2pm  --  Something Special  --  Daingerfield TX

“Readers will enjoy this book,” Wiseman continued, “if they like suspense, romance, and elements of history woven into a compelling story. The twists and turns are totally unexpected, and the ending will leave them breathless. This is the first of a series of three books. If readers enjoy an ongoing saga, they will definitely enjoy this series.”

Patty Wiseman is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below, or by email at patty_wiseman1966@yahoo.com. More information is available at her website. ‘An Unlikely Arrangement’ is available at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and at her website.

Annette Langer, Author Of 'Healing Through Humor', Chosen As Spotlighted Volunteer By Pleasanton CA Police Department

April is National Volunteer Month. Annette Langer was recently chosen as the first police volunteer to be spotlighted by the Pleasanton CA Police Department. Ms. Langer is a breast cancer survivor, a brain injury survivor, and the author of ‘Healing through Humor: Change Your Focus, Change Your Life’ and ‘A Funny Thing Happened on My Way to the World.’

April is National Volunteer month. Author Annette Langer was recently selected by the Pleasanton CA Police Department, profiling her duties as a police volunteer. Langer is the author of 'Healing through Humor: Change Your Focus, Change Your Life' and 'A Funny Thing Happened on My Way to the World: Diary of A Fearless Travel Agent'. Ms. Langer will combine her work as a police volunteer and her writing skills in her forthcoming book about her experiences of the last seven years as a police volunteer.

“I was so honored to be selected as the first of our twenty-five VIPS (Volunteers in Police Service) to be spotlighted each month. This new project of recognition will assist newer police officers and those who don’t work closely with us to learn more about us and our varied backgrounds,” Langer says. The notice hangs in a prominent spot on the police bulletin board beginning April, National Volunteer Month.

In May 2005, Annette became a volunteer for the Pleasanton Police Department and currently serves on patrol and in the Investigations Division.  She performs administrative duties in the Crime Prevention Unit and assists the Criminal Investigations Unit with the Juvenile Diversion program and with research for complex financial crime cases. She received a Special Recognition award from the Chief of Police in 2006 and was named Police Volunteer of the Year in 2008.

As an author, Langer initially wrote just for herself to create a personal record of all the medical experiences she's had, from brain injury to breast cancer. She thought others might benefit from her positive outlook in order to help overcome their own challenges. As a result, 'Healing through Humor: Change Your Focus, Change Your Life' was born. Published in 2005, the book has become an important catalyst in helping others focus on matters other than the physical obstacles they may be facing. Through her lectures at various hospitals, assisted living centers, community venues, and bookstores, she readily demonstrates her philosophy on life: The world is your oyster—go make a pearl. Her personal stories encompass humor and inspire others to create their own life treasures by developing their ability to recognize their own resilience through the power of positive thinking.

If she were to have a second philosophy on life, it would be simply: Life goes on. Langer's positive outlook is grounded once again in her second book, 'A Funny Thing Happened on My Way to the World, Diary of a Fearless Travel Agent', published in 2010. Her stories detail many comical, unusual and, at times, sobering situations in which she's found herself during her travels to all seven continents. She balances her tales of adventure with a multitude of funny anecdotes, displaying her characteristic positive outlook when facing challenges.

Her forthcoming book to be released in late 2012 details her activities as a volunteer for her local police department. "Eyes and Ears”—Police Volunteers will recount many of the humorous as well as somber experiences she and her volunteer partners have had over the years while performing their duties. An excerpt titled 'Crime Fighter' can be found in the August 23, 2011, issue of 'Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for the Young at Heart'.

Langer is also a frequent contributor to anthologies, online magazines, and blogs. Her most recent offering titled 'A Long and Bumpy Road to Relief' will appear in the May 22, 2012, issue of 'Chicken Soup for the Soul: Say Goodbye to Back Pain'.

“Being a police volunteer is so rewarding,” says Langer. “I want to share my experiences with people who may be unaware of how far-reaching and gratifying it can be to give back to the community in an unexpected way. Whether working inside the police station or patrolling the city in a police car with a volunteer partner, this experience is both gratifying and exhilarating.”

Annette Langer is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below, or by email at alanger2@gmail.com. 'Healing through Humor: Change Your Focus, Change Your Life' and 'A Funny Thing Happened on My Way to the World' are available in both print and e-book formats at Amazon.com, Smashwords.com and major book retailers. Personally autographed first-edition copies of her books are available through her website.

Profile:

Annette Langer is originally from Chicago and has lived in Pleasanton CA since 1998.  She spent a rewarding career in a variety of Federal Government jobs from court reporter to office manager. In May 2005 Annette became a volunteer for the Pleasanton Police Department and currently serves on patrol and in the Investigations Division. She performs administrative duties in the Crime Prevention Unit and assists the Criminal Investigations Unit with the Juvenile Diversion program and with research for complex financial crime cases. She has been a successful published author since 2005.

Author Rusty Blackwood Announces May Events, New Title - 'Passion In Paris: Revelations Of A Lost Diary'

Canadian Author Rusty Blackwood will be appearing at several St. Catharine's area bookstores during the month of May 2012. She is also pleased to announce the release of 'Passion In Paris: Revelations Of A Lost Diary'

Acclaimed Canadian author Rusty Blackwood, author of the 'Passion In Paris' series, today announced the anticipated release of a new title 'Passion In Paris: Revelations Of A Lost Diary'. The new title is a compiliation of two previously released, successful titles - 'Passion In Paris: Connections To The Past' and 'Passion In Paris: Directions Of The Heart'.  The new compilation follows the release of her new short story comedy, 'The Misadventures Of Derwood Tugbottom'.

The new compilation takes place in anticipation of gaining literary representation for the title. She will appear at several locations in St. Catharines, Ontario during the month of May to introduce the new work.

"This is the way," stated Rusty, "I originally wanted and pictured it being done. It's like a child, one's first born, where every tiny nuisance is important, the way it's presented, and the way it's handled. Combing a major length manuscript into detailed synopsis is no small task, but one which is both needed, and required. An author views each step they take as a step toward success and accomplishment in the field of writing as well the need to satisfy the muse within. 'Passion in Paris', which is groomed and ready to meet the public under its new title "Passion in Paris: Revelations of a Lost Diary",  truly feels like giving birth to a wondrous creation with characters born out of my own blood, sweat, and tears and let to find their way in a world that I hope will receive them well, and find them and their respective stories both fulfilling, and worth remembering."

In celebration of the manuscript's completion, Ms. Blackwood will be appearing on May 12th. at Seaway Mall COLES in Welland, Ontario Canada and on May 19th. at Pen Centre COLES in St. Catharines, Ontario. Canada.

All of Ms Blackwood's titles are available at Amazon.com, CreateSpace.com, and at her website bookstore.

Rusty Blackwood has written an eclectic array of Contemporary and Traditional poetry, publishing her first collection in October of 2009 entitled, "Feelings: A Rhythmic Journey in Thought". This title was re-released with additional content through CreateSpace Publishing in 2011 under the title, "Impressions: Poetic Rhythm in Emotion". Feelings was followed in April of 2010 by a collection of assorted short stories for children as well the young at heart, entitled,"Young Minds"  which was later re-released with new added content through CreateSpace Publishing in 2011 entitled, "Through the Eyes of Innocence."

Her first venture into the competitive world of main-stream fiction was a long time in the making, but was finally realized in early October 2010 with the release of her debut romance novel, ‘Passion in Paris: Connections to the Past’, the first of two in the ongoing romance/drama. The second part, a romance novel entitled, ‘Passion in Paris: Directions of the Heart’ was released in May 2011. In March of 2012 she released a short story comedy, 'The Misadventures Of Derwood Tugbottom'.

Pennsylvania Author Rene Daniel Announces Dramatic Increase In Sales Of 'Spear Of Seth' And The Release Of A New Novel

Daniel describes his genre as ‘Falenture’, a blend of fantasy, legend and adventure. ‘Spear Of Seth', written in the spirit of ‘Indiana Jones’ and ‘House Of Anubis’ takes modern day archaeologists into the Egyptian Underworld. 'Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla', his next fantasy adventure novel, is slated for release in mid 2012

Pennsylvania author Rene Daniel's fantasy adventure novel, ‘Spear of Seth’, is written in the spirit of 'Indiana Jones' and 'House of Anubis'. The novel takes modern day archaeologists into the Egyptian Underworld. 'Spear Of Seth' is a blend of fantasy, legend and adventure. Daniel has termed this new genre ‘Falenture’. His next novel, 'Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla', follows the same popular format.

"Storylines such as those found in the 'Indiana Jones' series and 'House Of Anubis'," said Mr. Daniels, "never seem to go out of favor with the book buying public. These type of stories all the reader to live vicariously and to lose themselves in the story. I believe the blend of fantasy, legend and adventure, something I've termed 'Falenture', is responsible for the increased popularity and readership of 'Spear Of Seth'."

Alex Khyan, the protagonist of ‘Spear of Seth’, is a premed student of the Van Senmut College, who gets a summer job as a translator at an archeological dig at the island of Elephantine in the Upper Egypt. Here he meets Heather Van Senmut and her father, John Van Senmut, a grandson of the founder of the college and the archeologist in charge of the excavations. The dig is not just some dig; it is the ruins of the Temple of Osiris, which stands at the mythical place where Nile emerges from the Egyptian Underworld. When John Van Senmut, falls ill and physicians give up on him, his daughter decides to search the Temple for the cause of the disease and possibly a cure. Her quest leads her, and her unwilling helper Alex, into the Netherworld, which survived the Egyptian civilization by two thousand years. They negotiate its dangers, as well as dangers that come from their contemporaries. They do have only one guide – the Book of Gates, which decorates the sarcophagus of the pharaoh Seti.

"In 'Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla'," continued Mr. Daniel, "I hope to be able to build upon the success of 'Spear Of Seth' and to continue to offer readers another novel that combines fantasy, legend and adventure".

Mr. Daniel is offering a no-charge electronic copy of "Last Secret Of Nikola Tesla’ to anyone who writes a review for 'Spear Of Seth' on Amazon or on their own blog.

Rene Daniel is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at rene_daniel@verizon.net. More information on the author, the novel and the review offer is available at his website. ‘Spear of Seth’ is available at his website, Amazon and most online book retailers.

Profile:

In his other life, Rene Daniel is a physician and a researcher in the fields of gene therapy, HIV and aging. Writing is his great love. He refers to his genre as FALENTURE - a mix of fantasy, legends and adventure.

Unlike a classical fantasy, FALENTURE builds on and sticks close to epic legends of human history, and asks a question: what if they are/were real? Is there really an Egypt Underworld? Was there really a Lost City of Z? What if the mysterious late inventions of Nikola Tesla worked? A FALENTURE could be compared to a combination of Lord Of Rings, The DaVinci Code and Indiana Jones.

Dr. William Charschan Challenges Physicians To Reform Healthcare By Reducing Medical Tests

Charschan believes that political action cannot reform healthcare and that patients have been sold a bill of goods by the healthcare monopoly. He believes reform must come from physicians themselves. This begins with a systems approach that will reduce the number of medical tests performed, resulting in dramatic savings for patients

Nearly everyone agrees its time to change the US healthcare system but, if left up to politicians, that change may never come. Dr. William Charschan, author of ‘Cheating Mother Nature, What You Need To Know To Beat Chronic Pain’, believes the system can only be changed from the inside out. That reform begins by changing the approach from one that concentrates on ‘symptoms’ to one that concentrates on ‘systems’.

“The big problems with healthcare costs,” stated Dr. Charschan, “are the blind spots in most doctors’ ‘diagnostic’ way of thinking. Many of the problems patients experience are really ‘parts of systems’ that are malfunctioning – not with a symptom disguising itself as the problem. The net effect of this approach is that we order too many tests because of holes in our understanding of how things work in the body. Most physicians are trained to see the micro (small issues and symptoms) and fail to see the big picture (why the symptoms actually exist). Physicians then are trained to classify the symptoms and attempt to ‘do something to it’.”

Most doctors who are studying specialties are not trained to think this way, and are instead trained to classify symptoms as separate diseases and practice based on disease theory within their specialty. Yet, in fact, the kidneys interact with other organs, the adrenals interact with other organs, the intestines interact with other organs. These organs are parts of systems. The musculoskeletal system, for instance, overlaps many of these systems; yet training in the functional diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system is glaringly absent from the medical curricula. It is a fact that problems in organ systems can show up as muscle pain and problems in the muscular and neurological systems can reflect organ malfunction. A lack of training, consideration and knowledge of the musculoskeletal system and its systemic integration leads to tests that are supposed to find the problem through process of elimination. Years later, other problems in other organs and systems may arise because the underlying causes of the person’s original problem were never discovered, but the offending part (gall bladder, for example) may have been removed.

Charschan has been called the 'Steve Jobs of healthcare'. Charschan believes physicians must rethink the approach. “We need to rethink what we are doing,” he continued, “as cost cutting our way in the same paradigm, using the medical home or Accountable Care Organizations (ACO's) is lunacy, even if the model shifts to pay for results. We need a paradigm shift and a change in the model that ultimately needs to be a whole body model, versus our current specialist vs. generalist model. Doctors who spend the time to figure out a problem should be paid for it.”

“Doctors of all disciplines must begin to understand how problems develop and work on the mechanism and prevention of the disease process (versus our current model of throwing away or treating the individual parts that seemed to go bad). We should lean less on medication to reduce chronic problems, such as blood pressure; problems people have been taught to believe just happen and instead address the functional or systemic issue causing it whenever possible.”

Dr. Charschan is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below. ‘Cheating Mother Nature, What You Need To Know To Beat Chronic Pain’ is available from Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and wherever books are sold.

'Authors and Technology', a BlogTalkRadio show hosted by Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein, invites experts in technology to discuss the future, which is happening now. The next show will feature Lisa McCourt, author of 'Juicy Joy'. The show will be archived at the 'Authors Speaking' site

During May, 2012, Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein will interview Lisa McCourt, the author of 'Juicy Joy'. 'Juicy Joy - 7 Simple Steps to Your Glorious, Gutsy Self' is more than a book about radical authenticity and outrageous self-love. It's an experiential journey guaranteed to transform the reader's world. The show will be archived at 'Authors Speaking'. 'Authors Speaking', developed by Dr. Holstein, brings authors together with librarians, educators and bookclubs through virtual author visits using Skype technology.

"In this world of millions of websites," stated Dr. Holstein, "it's nice to have one place where authors, librarians, teachers, book clubs, and bloggers can all come together to find each other. The virtual world is waiting, but still the links have to be made. For example, let's say you are a librarian in Idaho and you are looking for an author to come and talk about flowering shrubs at a Senior Book Hour. You don't have to just invite the local florist. An author who lives in Maine and has written a book on plants can be at your doorstep, via Skype, for the next meeting. All that needs to happen is communication. And that is easy with AuthorsSpeaking. Authors display their books and their talents by sharing their trailers, video interviews, notices of speaking engagements, etc. Librarians and other jjoin also and post what that are looking for. Authors find librarians. Librarians find authors and the interviews are scheduled. It is a win-win for everyone."

'Authors Speaking' encourages authors to make virtual visits to classrooms, libraries, bookclubs and bookstores through Skype and other forms of technology. 'Authors Speaking' gives authors and publishers the opportunity to upload photos, bios, book covers, video and book videos. The site also offers discussion forums, segmented special interest groups and allows for event listings. Each author can develop a personalized page. In addition the site allows for integration with Facebook and Twitter.

Dr. Holstein's interview with Lisa McCourt will be broadcast live on a date to be announced shortly.

New members at Authors Speaking include:

Lisa L McCourt - Juicy Joy - 7 Simple Steps to Your Glorious, Gutsy Self

Claire P. Gordon, Author Of 'My Unforgettable Jazz Friends', Discovers Long Lost Cousins Who Are Jazz Musicians

Claire P. Gordon was Duke Ellington’s secretary when she was in her 20’s. She is the author of several books about jazz and a new novel, 'The Color of Music'. In a strange coincidence, her own life has followed part of the story line of 'The Color Of Music'

Claire P. Gordon is Duke Ellington's former secretary and the author of a number of very successful nonfiction books about jazz. She is also the author of a fiction novel, 'The Color of Music'. In 'The Color Of Music', identical twins are separated at birth. The children are the identical boy twins of a couple – the father a famous black jazz pianist and the mother, his blonde girl friend. The father dies, the mother is alone when the twins are born, and she is unable to keep them. One boy is raised by a French couple, who didn’t know that his father was black, and the other is adopted by a black American couple who know only the father's race. Eventually the twins are reunited and it is discovered both have a talent for jazz music. Now, in a surprising sequence of events, Ms. Gordon's own life has taken a coincidental turn. She recently made an amazing discovery.

Claire Gordon hoped to find some trace of her grandmother, Emma, who died years before she was born . She joined the National Geographic's large pool. For years she combed continuing lists of "cousins," people with similar DNA, but the odd German family name of Himmelschein never appeared. Her step-daughter Robbie offered to search geneology. Robbie would never have found the family because the family name had become lost a few generations back, but luckily she ran into someone else also researching the family name. And that person, married to a relation of the brothers, led her to the cousins and it was there found Claire's grandmother's brothers and their descendants. Claire 's cousins in northern California were now named Weidkamp. Amazingly, Claire found the brothers were jazz musicians.

"When we found descendants of Grandma's family," states Ms. Gordon, "I couldn't get over the amazing coincidence that they were jazz people."

The cousins met when Claire Gordon went to San Francisco for a wedding. She joined cousin Noel and his wife Andrea in Napa where Noel played his horn and sang in the Devil Mountain Combo's gig .There, brother Keith Weidkamp and wife Linda joined them . Both brothers had been playing jazz for many years. Keith formed his own jazz band as a teen ager and brother Noel, playing professional cornet from age 14, still plays both jazz and classical cornet.

'The Color Of Music' is Ms. Gordon's first novel. It was nominated for a 2010 Global eBook Award in the Entertainment and Performing Arts (Music/Dance/Film) Fiction category. Her previous books about jazz are 'Boy Meets Horn, the Autobiography of Rex Stewart', 'Marshal Royal, Jazz Survivor' and 'My Unforgettable Jazz Friends'.

"This new novel," stated Ms. Gordon, "has been rolling around in my head for many years. The French couple raise one twin as their own white child in Quebec, Canada. The other grows up with black parents in South Central Los Angeles. There are twists and turns and cliff-hangers in every chapter."

Claire Gordon brings a unique and very personal perspective to this story, as she was the secretary for Duke Ellington. A Caucasian, she served in this role during a time when race and color were not issues to be politely debated or discussed. Segregation was a hard cold fact of everyday life. She observed discrimination against these world class musicians, allowing her to bring a perspective to 'The Color Of Music' that very few people could manage.

Ms. Gordon has recently been interviewed numerous times on both television and radio. She is available for media interviews and can be contacted using the information below or by email at clgordon@charter.net.'The Color Of Music' is available at her website at www.TheColorOf MusicNovel.com and from Amazon.com. 'The Color Of Music' is available in both paperback and Kindle versions.

Profile:

Claire P. Gordon was born in Los Angeles, California. The subject of twins always intrigued her because she was raised with a cousin her age, creating the concept and inner feeling of being a twin.

Claire skipped through school, graduating from LA High when she was sixteen. She enrolled at UCLA and then transferred to Berkeley, Her first love was music and specifically jazz music. Through being in the right place and the right time and strokes of luck, she became acquainted with Nat King Cole as well as the famous band leader Duke Ellington. A few years later this was the stepping stone to becoming Duke's first and probably only secretary.

While working there, she met the young songwriter, Irving Gordon. They began seeing each other and after a year, they married. Irving’s career flourished as he turned out many songs. One that he placed with a publisher was a disappointment because the company had been unable to get anyone to record the song. When Claire heard this, she dialed Nat Cole's number. Her old friend had become a big celebrity but not too big to remember his long-time fans. Nat King Cole looked at the sheet music, played the notes and sang the words. “I’ll record this for you, Claire,” he said. Thus was born one of his biggest hits, 'Unforgettable'.

Claire Gordon is the author of 'Boy Meets Horn, the Autobiography of Rex Stewart', 'Marshal Royal, Jazz Survivor', her own memoir entitled 'My Unforgettable Jazz Friends' and finally a fictional novel entitled 'The Color Of Music'.

March On Jerusalem: Dr. Richard Ruhling, Author Of ‘Jerusalem’s Impending Destruction’, Believes This May Be An Omen

Dr. Richard Ruhling is the author of ‘Jerusalem’s Impending Destruction’ and ‘The Bridegroom Comes’. He believes the announcement of the 3rd intifada subsequent to the March on Jerusalem, March 30, 2012, could signal the beginning of a crisis point for world events

Though the March on Jerusalem seems more fizzle than sizzle, Dr. Richard Ruhling believes the world is on the verge of a crisis and that if unexpected crowds gather in Jerusalem this (Passover) weekend, it could be trouble in light of Christ’s warning in Luke 21:20 - ‘When you see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know the desolation thereof is nigh.’

“It happened at Passover in 70 AD, and if I were living in Jerusalem,” stated Dr. Ruhling, “and saw crowds gathering this weekend, I would grab what I could and get out.”

Ancient Hebrew manuscripts foretell a time when God ‘will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity… Zechariah 14:1,2.

Dr. Ruhling refers to Israel’s divided history after 10 northern tribes were scattered to be re-gathered. The end of the longest time prophecy in the Bible suggests a re-gathering to Israel in 2012-2013. Further support for 2012 includes a change in calendar for Israel when they came out of Egypt after 430 years.

“With 430 years of Gregorian Calendar (2012) and many Jews praying for their land of a covenant with God, the Lion of Judah might roar.” (encoded earthquake, Joel 3:16, Zechariah 14:1-5),", says Ruhling who adds that "the announcement of a Third Intifada on April 2 could be a significant omen of trouble at Passover because April 2 was the 10th day of Jewish Abib (counting from the new moon crescent) and that's the day that the sacrifice was selected in Exodus 12:2,3."

"Christians may not identify with Exodus 12, but they remember the words of Christ, "as it was in the days of Noah," and Noah entered the ark on the 10th day, when who didn't enter the ark became a sacrifice, like the lamb in Exodus 12:3"

Dr. Richard Ruhling is the author of a number of other works including ‘The Bridegroom Comes!’, ‘Sword Over America’ and ‘Why You Shouldn’t Ask Your Doctor! Choices That Can Save Your Life’. All three books are available from Amazon.

Dr. Ruhling is available for media interview and can be reached using the information below, or by email at ruhling7@juno.com. More information, including the ebook version of ‘Jerusalem’s Impending Destruction’, is available at Dr. Ruhling’s website.
