Do miracles happen? The Catholic Church believes so and is preparing to canonize Pope John Paul II. Author Jerry Pollock’s ‘Little Book Of God’ offers a new perspective on God, science and miracles. He proposes that God is energy and miracles happen
Pope Francis recently approved a miracle attributed to Pope John Paul II, setting the stage for Pope John Paul II's canonization. Pope John Paul suffered from Parkinson’s disease and he interceded to cure a French nun, Simon-Pierre Normand, who had the same malady. The question asked by many is 'Do miracles happen?' For most people, the concept of miracles presents a mystery.
Author Jerry Pollock’s new release, ‘Little Book Of God: Merging Science With God’ solves this mystery, using concepts so uniquely bold, provocative, and original that the reader can’t help but feel he or she has been gently tapped over the head with a sledgehammer.
In this new book, Pollock leads readers to inevitable conclusions for the evidence for God. Pollock proposes that God is the Master Scientist and we, the human race, are God’s experiment.
"God," stated Pollock, "is the big bang. God is the universe. God is space itself and is the unseen energy field that brings life to elementary particles that in turn bring life to all evolutionary species. God is the Chi, the life force of all existence. God is Energy."
In ‘Little Book of God: Merging Science with God’, our Creator is portrayed as limitless forms of ever expanding Energy that are trillions to quadrillions of times greater than any one human being. God is depicted as timeless, the Ancient One, all knowing and all-powerful. God did not simply create our universe at a prehistoric time when only He existed. God represents an organizing intelligence that is responsible for the being of us all.
"Within the umbrella of God's Energy," Pollock continued, "there are different forms of energy among which is the Energy to perform miracles. I discuss this topic in Chapter 19 in 'Little Book of God: Merging Science with God'. God can use this miracle Energy to directly heal people or He can provide this healing Energy to a person like Pope John Paul II, so that he can miraculously heal others."
"A miracle can take an irreversible disease prognosis and convert it to a reversible healthy outcome. No form of human medicine can do this. The definition of a miracle is a supernatural event not explainable by science or medicine. Science cannot explain miracles nor can miracles explain science but I believe that God created our world through scientific miracles."
