On July 1, 2014, the newly revised and expanded edition of "The Truth: I'm a Girl, I'm Smart and I Know Everything" will be published by Sky Pony Press. The new title is "The Truth, Diary of a Gutsy Tween". This release falls on the heels of "The Locket", a page to stage play version of "The Truth", which was performed in Asbury Park on May 5th, 2014 to rave reviews.
"The Truth: I'm a Girl, I'm Smart and I Know Everything", the acclaimed novel by Dr. Holstein, is a fictional diary for girls, tweens and teens. Written by an 11 year old girl as a diary, Dr. Barbara has embedded within the story positive truths and concepts geared to help girls develop self-esteem and resiliency.
