Sabrowny Rae grew up listening to her grandmother spin tales. She has taken that art form to a new level in "Backdoor Tales"
Stories such as Godzilla, Lord Of The Rings, King Kong, Batman, XMen and The Wizard Of Oz all have something in common. They are stories we have heard or seen many times before. But now, thanks to new processes and technologies, we revisit these familiar tales gladly. Why? It's the same story, but now retold in a more compelling, sleeker or updated way.
Storytelling has become a buzzword, used by everyone from corporate PR departments to used car salesmen. Real storytelling however is an art form. A real storyteller can take an old, oft-heard tale and into something compelling. A good story leaves us wanting more. We can’t get enough of them. We love those stories, but we perhaps love the storytellers even more.
Sabrowny Rae comes from a long line of real storytellers. She recently released 'Backdoor Tales: Tears Of The Serpent and September Love'. The book is actually two books in one.
“A good story teller always leaves you wanting more,” Rae stated. “This way the reader gets their fill for the price of a single book. The reader saves money and has two complete yet different novels to enjoy. As an avid reader this was something that I always wanted when I read a really good book. I always needed more.”
Rae's stories have never been told before, but are destined to become classics, as they have been created by somebody who understands the art of real storytelling. In the storyline of 'Tears Of The Serpent', after seven thousand years, Satan, king of the demons, begs to be allowed to live in a human for seventy years where he would receive love and form once more. In the storyline of 'September Love', an American slave falls in love with her owner’s nephew. Their love transcends many hardships and barriers as they attempt to be together for life, while the sociopathic son of the slave owner attempts to keep them apart.
