Daniel P. Douglas is a multi-genre author who turns ordinary people into extraordinary heroes. 'Truth Insurrected: The Saint Mary Project', is a suspenseful science fiction conspiracy thriller featuring former FBI agent William Harrison
Novelist Daniel P. Douglas, author of science fiction books and conspiracy thrillers, announced that his publisher, Geminid Press, LLC, has partnered with writer-director Jack Snyder to develop a screenplay for his acclaimed debut science fiction conspiracy thriller ‘Truth Insurrected: The Saint Mary Project.’ The suspenseful novel centers on UFO disclosure and in it readers plunge into a sci-fi storyline featuring former FBI agent William Harrison – a reluctant yet admirable hero – who finds himself hot on the trail of a major extraterrestrial cover-up.
The topic of the science fiction book is a popular one, especially in light of the upcoming release of the Fox film ‘Independence Day 2,’ and the recent announcement by the Fox Network that it will produce new episodes of its iconic ‘X-Files’ television series.
“I am very pleased that Jack Snyder, an award-winning filmmaker who has written, directed, and produced both features and short films, is involved in the development of the screenplay,” Douglas said. “Jack is a talented professional, and given the popularity of UFO and alien invasion topics in film and television, I’m very excited about what the future may hold for a screenplay of my sci-fi novel ‘Truth Insurrected.’”
Douglas’s debut science fiction novel has received critical acclaim. Foreword Reviews recently recognized ‘Truth Insurrected’ as a science fiction finalist in its 17th annual INDIEFAB Book of the Year Awards.
Kirkus Reviews described ‘Truth Insurrected’ as “A multigenre espionage tale that’s unquestionably entertaining.” The Columbia Review of Books & Film highly recommended ‘Truth Insurrected’ and described it as “An excellent science-fiction/conspiracy thriller.” Best Thrillers described the novel as “An engrossing, deftly-crafted UFO conspiracy thriller that is easily one of the most successful tales to emerge out of Roswell alien lore.”
According to Douglas, the ‘Truth Insurrected’ screenplay is expected to be completed by June, 2015.
