Inspirational Christian book author Pamela Bush has announced the release of 'Finding Joshua'. The new release is her first Christian romance novel.
One minute Joshua and Elizabeth are driving down a snowy road discussing a pack of photos in her hands; the next there is a crash, all goes black. Elizabeth then wakes up in a bizarre world. She is fascinated to learn she is no longer in Michigan. Instead she finds herself standing in front of an antique store in New Orleans.
'Finding Joshua' is about what could have been and reality colliding as Elizabeth struggles between life and death, deciding whether to come back to her present day family or stay in her fantasy dream world.
"I wrote this book," Pamela stated, "from an actual photo of my then 17 year old husband. It was given to us by his mother. It was taken in New Orleans and Tom is seen walking on the sidewalk in front of an antique store. I studied the photo and wished I could have known him then; instead of us meeting almost seven years later. Suddenly, the light bulb went on and the idea of 'Finding Joshua' was born."
Pamela Bush is a prolific writer of Christian fiction and nonfiction books. She started writing at the age of 12. She and her husband have lived in many places all over the world. Pamela draws on this experience and knowledge to write novels full of Biblical principals and relevant problem solving for today’s situations. A strong desire to help people cope, coupled with the gentle nudging of the Holy Spirit of God, prompted her to begin writing. Her first contemporary Christian novel, loosely based on the Book of Job, was titled 'Out of the Whirlwind' and was published in 2008. Its sequel, 'Out of the Snare' was published Feb. 23, 2010. 'Out of the Mire' soon followed in November 2011. In May 2013, Pamela’s first non-fiction was released entitled 'The Fire Within: Fighting Through Adversity', detailing her son's struggles with Crohn’s and other serious health issues.
