What Would Jesus Say About Bullying - Reverend Terry Allan Christian Provides The Answer In 'What Did Jesus Say - The Seven Messages From The Master'

The Seven Messages from the Master contain over 500 Bible verses spoken directly by Jesus as recorded in the red letter edition of the New King James Bible, organized by subject. Without added interpretations, commentaries or opinions.

It goes without saying that bullying is a major problem today. The subject has been a primary focus of practically every media outlet in America for many years. Verbal bullying, social media bullying, physical bullying - the list goes on and on. This does not just affect children in school - it can also happen between adults at work for instance, where it may take the form of verbal bullying or perhaps the misuse of authority.

While we all accept that bullying is a major problem with staggering implications for society, we just don't seem to be able to find any effective answers. Everyone - from teachers to counselors to psychologists to parents and grandparents - struggle to uncover the solution to this vexing social problem.

What we might find surprising is the fact that the answer to any form of bullying is available to everyone today and, in fact, has been available for centuries. Reverend Terry Christian, Christian author, teacher and speaker, provides that answer in his latest book, 'What Did Jesus Say... The Seven Messages From The Master'.

"It's obvious Jesus knew what a bully was whether it be the religious Jewish authorities or the Roman authorities," Reverend Christian stated. "Jesus also knew what it felt like to be ‘bullied and mocked’ by those who grew up around Him or met Him along the way. In today’s Social Media via FB, Twitter, Instagram & Cellphones etc. its easy for the bully to express themselves while ‘hiding’ and then the others go public without respect for anyone including themselves. What we say about others, is a reflection of what we think and how we think, about life. Our personal values are revealed when our thoughts are expressed in voice or written.

"To the bully, the first thing Jesus would say is very simple: stop bullying, love one another, and treat others as you want them to treat you.

"To the one being bullied the first thing Jesus would say is, 'God loves you', so 'love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,- that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?' (Matt 5:43-46) AND then Jesus would say - Forgive them- 'If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses'. - Matthew 6:14-15

"It’s said the greatest weapon in the world is not a gun but rather the tongue. The gun kills the body while their spirit lives on - however the tongue can kill the spirit of someone while their body lives on. Words can also give life so, if you’ve been a bully to someone, then apologize to them and breathe new life into them with your words of love.

"I encourage everyone who’s been bullied, whether from a family, friend or stranger, to remember what Jesus said: Our enemies are among our own household. (family and friends) This also includes school friends, social clubs and total strangers so make sure your opinion of you is based on who you are and not what somebody says you are."

Imagine you're walking down the beach, and you come across a crowd waiting for Jesus to appear and teach them. What would he say? Would he talk about current religious and political conflicts, or would he speak about Love, Light, and Truth? Readers can join in for a walk with Jesus, and listen to his words as he shares with them the Seven Messages from the Master. Each spiritual message reveals His teachings that will strengthen and guide anyone to a most peaceful life in Christ.

'What Did Jesus Say' contains over 500 Bible verses spoken directly by Jesus as recorded in the red letter edition of the New King James Bible, organized by subject. There is no interpretation, opinion or commentary.

Reverend Christian's ministry, Foundations For Life, is an online ministry dedicated to helping Christians worldwide. Their calling is to help all Christians mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ. H-E-L-P means Helping Everyone Live Peacefully in Christ.

This brotherly approach allows us to focus on our loving similarities as members of the whole Body of Christ, rather than on our differences in worshiping and practicing our faith, so common today from one church to another or one Pastor to another. The mission is to teach the Way by the Word.

Foundations For Life offers “special programs” for Church events, special Bible studies, and spiritual retreats. Foundations For Life believes their calling from God is to encourage all Christians to help one another, to restore and revitalize the whole Body of Believers, and thereby be a better witness for Christ.

Reverend Christian helps families and congregations, as well as clergy, come together, in love, as one body in Christ, in one accord, in order to perform a greater work for Christ. He is dedicated to creating the relationships that build stronger marriages, families and churches.
