Scientists Warn Moving Fault Line Can Cause Massive Earthquake; Biblical End Times Soon, Says Expert Dr. Richard Ruhling
After 500 years, scientists say a fault line is moving with potential impact for LA and San Francisco, triggering fear and a cell phone app that gives a warning.
The Bible teaches us to “number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom,” Psalm 90:12. The Bible further teaches that God won’t do anything without revealing it, Amos 3:7. The Bible supports our need to know how long we have, says Dr. Richard Ruhling, author of The Alpha & Omega Bible Code.
Ruhling offers a corollary: when the Bible says something twice, it’s once for history and again for end-times because of the alpha-omega principle and “God declares the end from the beginning,” Isaiah 46:10.
In the book of beginnings, Joseph’s explained Pharaoh’s two dreams as meaning hard times. Seven fat cows were eaten by seven skinny cows and seven full heads of grain preceded seven thin heads. Joseph said there would be 7 good years followed by seven of famine and he stored surplus to save Egypt in Genesis 41.
That Twice-Speak Code supports seven good years before the seven bad years that Evangelical Christians see as the “end-times.” Ruhling says that’s why Trump will survive efforts to get rid of him to become the next president--he brought the good years.
But the bad times are coming and will be initiated by a huge earthquake when God will “shake terribly the earth,” Isaiah 2:12,19. Ruhling claims that “the day of the Lord” was signaled by several events in 2015, and since those warning signs, we are seeing the good years.
The warning signs included the Iran Nuclear Treaty because “the day of the Lord comes…when they shall say, ‘Peace and safety,’ sudden destruction comes…” 1Thessalonians 5:2,3.
Another example is “the sun shall be darkened and the moon turned to blood before the day of the Lord,” Joel 2:31. There was a rare solar eclipse on the equinox followed by a blood moon on Passover in 2015.
Those events were like Joseph’s warning and we are in the middle of seven good years for the economy and employment, but after the sabbatical year of 2022, we may expect bad times of which many current events are an omen, warns Ruhling.
He believes Christ’s warning, “when you see Jerusalem compassed with armies,” (Luke 21:20) will be a heads-up sign. Most Christians and Jews think that was in 70 AD, but Zechariah 14:1,2 shows it connected to “the day of the Lord” (end-time)
Seeing this in April of 2023 (time of Passover when Titus surrounded Jerusalem) would be a confirming sign of a prophetic earthquake, “as the days of Noah” Matthew 24:37, when the Flood came with Passover timing, but in the 2nd spring month, according to Ruhling.
Biblical clues link the 2nd Passover timing to 9-11, Numbers 9:10,11. This text provides for Israelite travel--if they took a long trip and couldn’t get back for Passover, they were to keep it a month later…
That’s precisely how Christ ended His wedding parable. When five women missed the wedding, He said they didn’t understand because it’s like a man traveling to a far country. He is the Master in that last parable, Matthew 25:13,14.
Ruhling says God was invisible when He “executed judgment” in Egypt--the alpha application, Exodus 12:12. In an omega event, Christ will come invisibly to the US for judgment because, like Egypt that killed babies, we have aborted 60 million, and like Egypt enslaved Israel, most people are in bondage to negative health habits or lifestyles and freedom of speech is shredded by social media, fearful of offending someone who is eager to take offense and fight for their sex orientation.
“Hate speech” is killing free speech as America moves into bondage like Egypt, but the coming judgment will be for deliverance as for Israel in Egypt and the Bible offers protection for those who seek compliance with its guidelines, says Ruhling.

Books For Book Clubs: New Book On Aging, Helping Yourself Grow Old By Award Winning Author Frances Fuller, Offers A Totally Unique View On Aging
There are tens of thousands of book on aging, and an equal number of books about retirement. This is no surprise. Life expectancy is increasing dramatically. In 2015, the Census Bureau estimated there would be 50 million people age 65 and older by 2016. Interest in aging and retirement issues will likely only increase with each passing year.
Most of us don't have a plan, a strategy, for the final years of our lives. Most of us have no idea what to expect during those years.
Finding very little real guidance available, award winning author Frances Fuller decided that she must figure out for herself how to live wisely through the puzzles and possibilities of aging. In 'Helping Yourself Grow Old: Things I Said To Myself When I Was Almost Ninety', Frances deals with such issues as grief, loneliness, physical limitations, fears, duties, and with the significance of her own life story.
The end result is a book unlike any other book on aging you will ever read.
What makes this book a perfect fit for book clubs is that the author deals with common , universal but sometimes private issues in an open, conversational tone. Her confessions and decisions invite self-searching and discussion.
In this new book, Fuller tries to make sense of her own past and to understand her responsibility to younger generations. In the process she shares her daily life, enriched with memories from her fascinating experiences. Her stories and her voice - fresh, honest, irresistible - keep the reader eager for more. The end result is a book that helps create a detailed map through the challenging terrain of old age.
Frances' prior work, 'In Borrowed Houses', has taken three industry awards. Frances Fuller was the Grand Prize winner in the 2015 '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' Book Awards. It received the bronze medal for memoir in the Illumination Book Awards in 2014. Northern California Publishers and Authors annually gives awards for literature produced by residents of the area. In 2015 'In Borrowed Houses' received two prizes: Best Non-fiction and Best Cover.
Critics have praised ‘In Borrowed Houses.’ A judge in the 22nd Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards called 'In Borrowed Houses' “ . . a well written book full of compassion . . . a captivating story . . . ”. Another reviewer described the book as “Wise, honest, sensitive, funny, heart-wrenching . . .”. Colin Chapman, lecturer in Islamic Studies at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut said, “ . . . western Christians and Middle Eastern Christians need to read this story…full of remarkable perceptiveness and genuine hope.”
Frances Fuller is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at frances0516@att.net. Fuller's books are available at Amazon and other book retailers. Award Winning Author And Traveling Researcher Donna Fletcher Crow Celebrates The Power Of Story With Trans-Canada Adventure, Disney World Reflections, Books Detailing Christmas Customs
There is nothing like the power of a good story. Our stories can inspire us, entrance us, enhance our lives and enliven us, for it is our stories that bind us together. We teach through story. We persuade through story. We transform lives and indeed can build (or destroy) lives through the power of stories.
The power of story is something Donna Fletcher Crow, a multi-award winning author of 50 books, understands intimately. Crow's work centers primarily on British Christian history. What sets her work apart is the fact that she is a passionate researcher who engages people and places from Britain's past and present, drawing comparisons and contrasts between past and present for today's reader.
To celebrate the power of story, Donna is presenting readers of all persuasions with a new group of stories that illustrate the universal power of story from three different perspectives:
Trans-Canada Adventure
To develop the background for her sixth book in the Monastery Murder series, 'Against All Fierce Hostility', Donna recently embarked upon a Trans-Canada adventure by train. On her website, she presents an online travelogue that documents her Canadian journey by train, plane, car and boat and treats readers to stunning imagery and richly detailed descriptions. Much like the panoramic content of her award-winning novels, the new blog entries allow readers to vividly share the experience of an excursion across the Canadian landscape. The next installment of the Trans-Canada adventure is available at her website at https://donnafletchercrow.com/articles.php?cat=8.
Disney World Reflections - The Power Of Story
Donna and her husband had breakfast with some Disney princesses at Norway's Akershus castle at Epcot Center on their recent visit to Disneyworld - sans grandchildren. In that Donna is an avid gardener, they also took the time to enjoy a close-up look at Disney's experimental gardens. The full story is available at https://donnafletchercrow.com/articles.php?cat=10.
Books With Christmas Customs
In 'Glastonbury', an epic novel covering 1500 years English Christian history, the Norman section recounts the celebrations of the full Twelve Days of Christmas in a manor house. The festivities include bringing in the yule log and feasting on roasted boar. It all concludes on Twelfth Night when, under the direction of the Lord of Misrule, traveling mummers enact “Saint George and the Dragon.”
Celebrations are considerably more subdued in Puritan homes in her Irish epic 'The Banks of the Boyne'. But rumors of Catholic friends who celebrate Christ’s birth by burning red pillar candles, setting up replicas of baby Jesus in the manger, and enjoying sumptuous feasts are a bitter temptation to a young protestant boy.
'Where Love Restores' depicts an early 19th century Christmas on a great English estate. Festivities include: a fox hunt and hunt ball, constructing an English kissing ring, a midnight Christmas Eve service, and alms-giving on Boxing Day.
In 'Kathryn: Days of Struggle and Triumph', Christmas looks bleak in a pioneer hut in the Idaho desert. Why couldn’t they be in a civilized place where they wouldn’t have to use a sagebrush bush for a Christmas tree? But even the scraggly weed looks better when decorated with strings of popcorn and bows from Kathryn’s quilting basket. And their audacious guest appears more amenable in the companionship of a neighborhood carol sing.
'An All-Consuming Fire' finds Felicity and Antony planning a Christmas wedding in a monastery. The many worship services bring the meaning of Christmas to Felicity in a new way. Still, she manages to find time for such modern English traditions as sharing bad jokes and wearing paper crowns from crackers, eating mince pies and Christmas cake, and taking a long country ramble after the Queen’s Speech. Felicity is as surprised as Crow was, however, by one English Christmas custom—fireworks.
Crow says, “I love stories! Reading stories, telling stories, sharing stories with my readers. I write history because stories from the past inform and strengthen us and help us build a better future. I write history, but I’m really talking about today.”
Crow's entire Monastery Murder Series features atmospheric contemporary crimes with their roots buried deep in the middle ages. Books in the series include 'A Very Private Grave', 'A Darkly Hidden Truth', 'An Unholy Communion', 'A Newly Crimsoned Reliquary' and 'An All-Consuming Fire' and the upcoming 'Against All Fierce Hostility.'
Readers may wish to consider picking up copies of the currently published books in the Monastery Murder series before the new novel is published.
The award-winning 'Glastonbury' is her best-known work, which received the prestigious First Place, Historical Novel, award from the National Federation of Press Women. Readers and reviewers have raved about 'Glastonbury', calling it "The best of its kind," "richly fascinating," "beautifully researched,", "gloriously evocative," and "panoramic." One Amazon reader said, "WHAT a work! Every reader can be enveloped in the sheer scope and quality, every historian be constantly nodding at the precise detail and accuracy, and every Christian can rejoice in the fullness of scripture. For me it is simply beyond descriptive praise. I would urge all who value truth to treat themselves to a feast."
The Daughters of Courage, 'Kathryn', 'Elizabeth' and 'Stephanie' is a pioneer family saga based on the stories of Crow's own family and other Idaho pioneers in the Kuna, Nampa and Boise area. Her current short story “A Nostalgic Fourth of July” is based on a scene from ‘Kathryn: Days of Loss and Hope'.
The Elizabeth & Richard Mysteries is a literary suspense series using literary figures as background: Rudyard Kipling in 'The Flame Ignites', Dorothy L Sayers in 'The Shadow of Reality', Shakespeare in 'A Midsummer Eve's Nightmare', and Jane Austen in both 'A Jane Austen Encounter' and 'A Most Singular Venture'. Watch for 'A Prodigious Sum of Corpses: Seeking Sanditon at Jane Austen’s Seashore', which will take the reader to the sites featured in Donna’s current blog series, following the steps of a murderer.
The Lord Danvers Victorian true-crime series is an Amazon bestseller in the British Detectives category. Books in the series include 'A Lethal Spectre', 'A Most Inconvenient Death', 'Grave Matters', 'To Dust You Shall Return' and 'A Tincture of Murder'. Donna provides a no-charge download of 'A Tincture of Murder' for those who sign up for her newsletter. More information is available at her website.
Where There is Love, a 6-book series of the enduring legacy of love and faith, featuring historic people and events of the 18th and 19th centuries.' Where Love Begins', book 1, has just been released in print for the first time. It is the story of Catherine Peronnet whose world is in tatters. Charles Wesley is engaged to another, her brother beaten by an angry mob, and her favorite pupil forced to leave school. Catherine endures the terrors of a circuit-ride, a threatened French invasion and the Great London Earthquake before finding happiness. Other titles in the series are: 'Where Love Illumines', 'Where Love Triumphs', 'Where Love Restores', 'Where Love Shines', and 'Where Love Calls'.

More High Praise For What Is Man Male And Female - Pierre Tielhard DeChardin's View Offered By Award Winning Author And Professor Emeritus Bernard Fleury
Since the beginning, man has been asking the question: "What am I?"
This question is the most important question one can ask. It has been debated by philosophers, educators and clergy the world over. If we could but answer that single question, we would at last perhaps know our place in the universe; indeed we would finally know why we exist. Can that question ever be answered?
Award-winning author Bernard Fleury has produced a single publication that contains, under one cover, broadly representative views concerning the meaning of “Man.” Both readers and professional reviewers have given the book high praise. In that book he presents points of view from 5 leading philosophers - Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Martin Buber, Paul Sartre, Burrhus F. Skinner and John Dewey. Fleury recently provided a brief explanation drawn from Dechardin:
Evolution according to Teilhard is purpose-driven. Chronological evolution is the ascent to consciousness. Prelife evolves into life and then reflective thought, the ability to ponder oneself as an object. Humankind, male and female, had entered the world.
The human being is a complex body-spirit person with a Divine destiny. He/she is the most highly developed consciousness on Earth, the leading shoot of evolution, the arrow pointing the way for further evolutionary development toward Omega point: a final fulfillment of the world through creative Union with Omega, God.
According to the Book of Genesis, God is the Alpha, the Uncreated Creator who creates the Earth and all the plants and animals in it by his word in 6 "days".
On the sixth day "God said 'let us make man in our image, after our likeness, male and female he created them." Man, humankind, is created for his or her own sake. God places the man in the garden in Eden to cultivate and care for it.
None of the animals which God allowed the man to name were suitable partners for him. He builds a new being from one of the man's ribs whom the man names "woman". The man exclaimed with joy, "This one at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh for out of her man this one has been taken."
"That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body."
Teilhard's conception of man places the human, once created, to gradually taking over evolution, planned change, rather than change by chance or groping, the steward of his environment.
We humans are an important part of God's plan for the development of the Earth.
"The first edition of the book was used for the most part with fourth year undergraduate students, criminal justice and liberal arts majors in the Philosophy of Education course and also in the graduate course Social Cultural Theories, Foundations of Education," Fleury stated. "In both of these courses 'Man' is viewed as the focal point of education since he is the subject of education—what education is all about. The term “Man” is used generically throughout the first edition and in this new edition to refer to all humans, female and male, because this is the way the term is used in classical philosophy and in the writings of the five philosophers included in both the first and new revised editions to refer to all humankind, female and male."
"Unlike other best sellers like John Grey’s 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus'. The scope of 'What is Man? Male and Female' has been broadened to include the interests of parents in their parenting, sociologists, psychologists, and psychiatrists as well as pre and in-service teachers and other education administration personnel. All of these professions have 'Man' as their subject so it is critical to their practices how they view the 'human.' Who or what is it that they are attempting to define, teach, or develop therapies for?"
The book answers three very important questions:
What does it mean to be human?
Who or what is it that we are attempting to define, teach, or develop therapies for?
What role does the Inner and Outer Light play in each philosopher’s view?
Readers and reviewers have lauded 'What is Man?':
"Professor Fleury, Ed.D. has done a masterly piece of groundwork. He generously offers the results of his own life’s quest to those who are willing to make the effort to study his work to find meaning for themselves, others, and for our cultural-evolution." - Ruth McGoldrick, SP, MRE Adult Educator and Spiritual Director
"Dr. Fleury has done a great service for educators, parents, and all concerned with raising and educating children in today’s world. He has invited those so involved to perform that most elemental and human of efforts, namely, to reflect for themselves on what motivates them to journey with young people toward maturity. By sampling the thoughts of five men (deChardin, Buber, Dewey, Sartre, and Skinner) each of whom in his own way has greatly influenced the pedagogical process, Dr. Fleury teases out both the similarities and dramatic differences which inform these schools of thought." - Rev. Richard A Bondi
"Bernard J Fleury is a gifted and knowledgeable thinker whose work will provoke discussion in the areas of psychology, philosophy, and parenting. . . I loved the references to prominent thinkers, theologians and philosophers who have articulated on the meaning of the human person, including Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Martin Buber, Paul Sartre, Burrhus F. Skinner, and many more. Here is a book that offers insights and opens portals to powerful truths about being human. In What is Man? Male and Female, the author offers answers and encourages readers to think about their personhood from a completely fresh perspective. It is filled with light and wisdom.” - Divine Zape
"This was a superb work, and the best I have read by this author so far, especially due to its minimal approach of opinion and scholarly presentation of human philosophy. The thinkers which are presented are diverse and well considered for their part in the development of defining what it means to be human, and we can use this to view our place in the world as well as that of others. Genuinely accessible, thanks to Fleury’s clear and concise transcriptions and translations of what each complex theory has to offer, this bite-sized edition of philosophical thinking certainly packs a punch, and could be read, discussed and appreciated again and again." - K.C. Finn
"The book discusses the interpretations of the five major philosophers – Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, Martin Buber, John Dewey, Jean-Paul Sartre, and Burrhus F. Skinner – regarding the meaning to be attached to ‘Man’. The interpretations of these five philosophers have been divided into five sections in the book. Their views are helpful when it comes to deciphering and defining who we actually are, and the nature of human growth and development. The question of what is man is actually a very fundamental one, and the book gives a lot of insights that will enable readers to understand the concept and the people around them in a way so they are helpful to each other and can move forward in dignity and respect." - Mamta Madhavan
Nearly all of Bernard's books center squarely on the theme of Light as a Someone and a Something. He believes we are all Called Into Life By The Light. Life and Light are tied together. Lifelight describes their relationship best because both our “without” (our physical being) and our “within” (our spirit) are basically light in two different forms:
1. Physical energy that occupies space, has weight, can be measured, and
2. Psychic or spiritual energy which is a force that causes things to happen and, thus, real energy, but it does not occupy space, have weight, nor can it be empirically measured.
Fleury's books have received numerous 5-star rated reviews. He was chosen as one of ‘50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading’ in the 2017 Book Awards. That honor came as a result of his appearance on The Authors Show. He was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors through a public voting process.
Bernard Fleury is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below, or by email at bernlida@comcast.net. 'What Is Man? Male And Female' is available at online retail book outlets. More information is available at his website at http://www.intolifebylight.com.

Young People Resonate With Climate Change Initiative Started By John Kerry And Arnold Swartzenegger Says Award Winning Author And Selfie Film Maker Barbara Becker Holstein
Of all the issues facing young people today, climate change is top of mind with the only group that will need to deal with the issue long term - young people. Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein knows this, as she works with young people day in and day out, helping them address their fears and anxieties via The Selfie Project, Holstein's grassroots film making efforts that finally give young people a real voice about the challenges they face.
Recently John Kerry and Arnold Swartzenegger teamed up to form World War Zero, a project that takes a proactive approach toward climate change. Other high profile names involved in the project include Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Watson, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter and John Kasich. In their words, there is a war on climate change. It is young people who must fight this war at the front lines. Their survival may depend on it.
Dr. Holstein's latest podcast hit the issue of climate change head on. She is actively recruiting young people to submit selfie films that discuss not only climate change, but issues such as school shootings, lockdowns, bullying and a host of others. The goal is to give young people an opportunity to voice their concerns with no censorship or scripting. Of all the issues that face young people, climate change is top of mind for this group.
"When I watched one of the videos that a youngster had prepared for my monthly Podcast, 'Enchanted Self Productions Presents The Selfie Project', I was moved way beyond expectations," Dr. Holstein stated. "In this slightly more than one minute video she had managed to make clear that she is afraid to die because of climate change, she feels relatively helpless to control what is happening and she had to stop the video several times to get herself under control as she was crying as she made the video.
"As a psychologist, woman, mother, grandmother, citizen of the United States, I'm thinking to myself, what have we done as a people to make a bright talented girl feel so worried and hopeless? What dreams have we taken away from the next generation that they are entitled to have? What indifference and narcissism have we allowed ourselves to play into, so that we haven't worked harder as a people to protect our environment and make sure changes are done in time to stop the rollercoaster of natural destruction?
"At the end of the show in which this young lady sat with me, a scientist, a school librarian, a school psychologist and several others, she said that she thought she would never be heard, that no one would listen to her concerns. Of course we had and we will not forget. But the struggle is far from over!
"All of my Podcast shows are designed to take children, teens and young adults seriously. They have major concerns and major anxieties and issues. It is time to give them more voice in ways that they can be heard. Selfie filmmaking is one way. Discussion with experts and other kids is another way to give voice. 'The Selfie Project' is doing both. Take a look at some of the videos, up on Selfie Filmmakers, under the Selfie Showcase tab. Also listen to the podcasts or see them on the YouTube Selfie Project channel."
Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein, Selfie filmmaker and Positive Psychologist, is a cutting-edge, visionary selfie filmmaker who has garnered over 80 awards and screenings. She recently created The Selfie Showcase, a new project emerging from The Selfie Project, that allows young people to voice their opinions on subjects that matter to young people. She is now accepting submissions from the public for the "Selfie Showcase" and is actively seeking change-makers and mental health professionals to appear on her monthly video podcast.
The Selfie Showcase allows kids, teens, and young adults ages 13 to 18 to candidly express their concerns, worries, observations and possible solutions by creating selfies or selfie films around important subjects, using a smart phone.
Selected participants may appear on the Selfie Project Channel, available on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3uaOTcYF70z5CpBh11VoUQ. They will also appear in the Selfie Showcase on SelfieFilmmakers.com. They will receive a certificate of merit, and may be invited to be on Holstein's monthly podcast or perhaps be a part of her next film. Full details, rules for submission and helpful hints can be accessed at the Selfie Filmmakers site at http://www.selfiefilmmakers.com/instructions.
"Selfies can be a means of private expression, but can also serve to create public discussion of important issues, Dr. Holstein stated. "Issues such as bullying, suicides, social media pressures, lockdowns, school shootings, love and much more. They allow young people the opportunity to speak out in their own way, whether that way is to rant, vent, discuss or bare their souls.
"These are real kids with real problems," Dr Holstein concluded. "My hope is to give them a real voice through various components of the Selfie Project. The Selfie Showcase can serve as window into the minds of young people and what kids think."
The podcast series is actively seeking change-makers to appear either in person or by call-in on her monthly podcast. Dr. Holstein is hopes to feature members of traditional media, mental health professionals and educators who can make a real difference in the lives of young people. Guests, if accepted, can arrange to appear by contacting Dr. Holstein directly.
Dr. Holstein also makes a number of her books and films available to be used as fundraising tools. She requests that any verified charitable organization interested in raising funds contact her via email.
She is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at barbara.holstein@gmail.com. The Third Commandment In The Christian Bible: The Misuse of God's Name and Idol Making - Biblical Truth Presented By Evangelical Holiness
Evangelical Outreach, EOMIN.org, proclaims and defends the Christian Gospel against various forms of religious deceptions from Catholicism to Jehovah's Witnesses to Eternal Security to KJB Onlyism.
All people are commanded to avoid taking the Lord's name in vain. Taking God's holy name in vain can include any misuse from the holy way it is cited in scripture itself, including using it with profanity. As presented in the following passages by Evangelical Outreach, the third of the ten commandments is directly related to God's most holy name:
You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. (Exo 20:7)
Elsewhere we read of God's unique and most high name:
Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens. (Psa 148:13)
...you have exalted above all things your name and your word. (Psa 138:2)
...your name alone do we honor. (Isa 26:13)
No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. (Jer 10:6)
...your adversaries misuse your name. (Psa 139:20)
Some believe those truths are under attack. How? The Catholic Magisterium teaches to misuse Mary's name violates the command to not misuse God's name!
2146 The second commandment forbids the abuse of God's name, i.e., every improper use of the names of God, Jesus Christ, but also of the Virgin Mary and all the saints. (CCC 2146)
FYI, What the Catholic church calls the 'second commandment' is actually the third commandment. The Catholic church ignores the real second commandment for obvious reasons:
You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not BOW DOWN to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. (Exo 20:4-6)
"The Likeness of Male or Female" Omitted
Shocking but true – note the following quote and especially the three dots (ellipsis), which indicates missing words in the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
2129 The divine injunction included the prohibition of every representation of God by the hand of man. Deuteronomy explains: "Since you saw no form on the day that the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire, beware lest you act corruptly by making a graven image for yourselves, in the form of any figure. . . . " It is the absolutely transcendent God who revealed himself to Israel. "He is the all," but at the same time "he is greater than all his works." He is "the author of beauty."
The footnote attached to that ellipsis is Deut. 4:15-16 and that passage reads:
Therefore watch yourselves very carefully. Since you saw no form on the day that the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire, beware lest you act corruptly by making a carved image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, THE LIKENESS OF MALE OR FEMALE.
The Catholic magisterium wants to conceal those 6 words, the likeness of male or female, because they themselves continue to violate that command with their millions of images in the form of male and female.
Getting back to God's name being misused, the third of the Ten commandments (not the second one) is the one related to God's holy name:
You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. (Exo 20:7)
Had God wanted to include sinful man's name to an equal importance with his own sacred name it would state so, but it surely doesn't. Just the thought of sinful people being elevated to the unique importance of God's most high and exalted name is disturbing. Again, scripture says:
...you have exalted above all things your name and your word. (Psa 138:2)
The compound problem there is: the Catholic teaching not only lowers and devaluates Almighty God's name to the level of Mary and the names of Catholic saints, but lethally elevates their names to be on a par with God's most high name to not be misused. That too has led people into an idolatrous view of his sinful creation, including Mary.
Mary is "the All-Holy One" in Catholicism
BTW, Catholicism also wrongly teaches Mary was sinless, in contrast to God's word says:
493 The Fathers of the Eastern tradition call the Mother of God "the All-Holy" (Panagia), and celebrate her as "free from any stain of sin, as though fashioned by the Holy Spirit and formed as a new creature". By the grace of God Mary remained free of every personal sin her whole life long. (CCC 493)
2677 Holy Mary, Mother of God: With Elizabeth we marvel, "And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" Because she gives us Jesus, her son, Mary is Mother of God and our mother; we can entrust all our cares and petitions to her: she prays for us as she prayed for herself: "Let it be to me according to your word." By entrusting ourselves to her prayer, we abandon ourselves to the will of God together with her: "Thy will be done."
Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death: By asking Mary to pray for us, we acknowledge ourselves to be poor sinners and we address ourselves to the "Mother of Mercy," the All-Holy One. We give ourselves over to her now, in the Today of our lives. And our trust broadens further, already at the present moment, to surrender "the hour of our death" wholly to her care. May she be there as she was at her son's death on the cross. May she welcome us as our mother at the hour of our passing to lead us to her son, Jesus, in paradise. (CCC 2677)
The exaltation of Mary, as demonstrated above, is in direct opposition to God's word, for God alone is the Holy One (Isa. 1:4; Ezek. 39:7; Hos. 11:9; etc.), and we should never pray to Mary. Scripture also states the following attribute about God:
Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For YOU ALONE ARE HOLY. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed. (Rev 15:4)
Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD-- that YOU ALONE ARE THE MOST HIGH over all the earth. (Psa 83:18)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Rom 3:23)
If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives. (1 John 1:10)
For the Catholic magisterium to claim Mary has never sinned is to call God a liar and to show his word has no place in their lives, based on 1 John 1:10. Mary was not sinless and our trust and hope must not be in her for anything, especially our soul's salvation. We must have a trusting and submitting faith in the PRECIOUS Lord Jesus, the Savior. That means 100% trust and submissive faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and 0% in Mary, the sacraments and being a Catholic.
According to the Bible, eternal life is much more than just the gift of God (Rom. 6:23) and a present tense possession (Jn 6:47; 1 Jn 5:11-13). Eternal life is also a hope (Titus 3:7) yet to be reaped (Gal. 6:8,9), in the age to come (Mk. 10:30) for only the ones who persist in doing good (Rom. 2:7) and don't grow weary and give up sowing to please the Spirit (Gal. 6:9)! Eternal life is also a promise for the Christians who hold on to the gospel truth they heard from the beginning to remain in Christ and the Father (1 Jn. 2:24-26).
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (1 Cor. 6:9-11, NASB)

How Mental Health Challenges Such As Suicide, Depression, And Hopelessness Are Addressed By The Wisdom Offered In The Book Of Proverbs: Wisdom Vs Wilderness By Award Winning Author Donna Louis
Official numbers on suicides and depression worldwide are staggering. According to the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics, there were 47,173 in the US in 2017 alone. Information on the NIH website shows us that 9.8 million adults had thoughts of suicide. In just the past few years we have lost a huge number of high profile celebrities such as Robin Williams, comedian, Anthony Bourdain, chef, Don Cornelius, host of Soul Train, Chester Bennington, lead vocalist for Linkin Park, Margot Kidder, actress, Brody Stevens, comedian, Mark Salling, actor, Chris Benoit, WWE wrestler, Verne Troyer, actor, Avicii, Swedish DJ, Tyler Honeycut, basketball player for the Sacramento Kings - the list seems endless. These celebrity suicides bring the issue to light, but are merely the tip of a much larger iceberg.
According to the World Health Organization, 300 million people have depression, 17.3 million in the US according to the 2017 National Survey on Drug Use and Health.
Award winning author Donna Louis contends that we can begin to find solutions to these overwhelming challenges by looking to the Book of Proverbs, as described in her latest book, 'Book Of Proverbs, Wisdom vs Wildnerness'.
"Everyone struggles with life," Louis stated. "Life is just that it is life. Nothing is perfect and to expect that it will be is ridiculous especially after what happened in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. 'Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.' – Genesis 3:16-19. Suicide is not the answer! Prayer changes things."
"Remember the Thai Cave Rescue with the 12 boys and their coach that were trapped. The whole world came together to pray, and they were rescued. The death of Judas is the only clear example of suicide in the New Testament. When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. 'I have sinned,' he said, 'for I have betrayed innocent blood.' 'What is that to us?' they replied. 'That’s your responsibility.' So, Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself. – Matthew 27:3-5.
"We all need to know that even in dire circumstances such as this one with Judas God’s forgiveness is never-ending. We need to learn that whether we feel forgiven, we're forgiven. Unfortunately, at this time of the year is when suicide becomes so prevalent. People look over the year and can’t cope with the losses, depression, hopelessness they feel will never change. We all need to remember especially at this time of the year at Christmas how God brought a savior into the world his son Jesus to wash away all our sins and give us a life of abundance. Christmas is a time of Miracles! If Jesus could withstand the cross, we can withstand anything that comes our way because we need to remember individually, 'I can do all things through Christ that strengtheneth me.' – Philippians 4:13."
Louis recently announced the release of her latest Christian book, 'Book Of Proverbs, Wisdom vs Wilderness'. 'Book of Proverbs, Wisdom vs. Wilderness' delves deeply into the timeless human quest for wisdom. As all Christians know, the primary purpose of the Biblical Book of Proverbs is to teach wisdom. The Book of Proverbs provides intellectual depth, insights and exceptional wisdom on how to live a meaningful, joyful and tranquil life by honoring and respecting God as omnipotent.
The new release discusses all chapters in Proverbs 1-31 and brings insight, clarity, and basic meaning to several verses in each chapter. It clarifies why wisdom is not only essential, but mandatory in life, if one hopes to live a blessed life, versus living destitute, empty, or feeling lost or hopeless.
Louis has won a number of industry awards. She was recently chosen as the winner in the 2018 Top Female Author Awards in the Religion/Philosophy/Spiritual category. Louis was chosen from an international field of contestants by a panel of judges. She was also a recent winner in the 2018 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading Awards.
Louis' recent wins follow three awards in the 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading Awards contest (2015, 2016 and 2017), and two nominations in the Top Female Authors Awards.
Donna Louis' first book, 'Miracles of Direction, Miracles of Conquest, Miracles of Provision and Miracles of Purpose' helps readers explore miracles both past and present. The book explores biblical miracles that took place while Jesus was here on earth. She then references with miracles that take place on a daily basis in the modern world. She separates these miracles into four categories and presents insightful examples of each type, taken directly from the Bible.
Louis knows her subject well, as she has personally experienced four miracles. As the result of those life-altering experiences, she began an in-depth study of some of Christianity's most well-documented miracles. In her book, she attempts to expand upon and explain both the purpose and the direction of those miracles.
'Miracles' has received rave reviews from readers. One review called it "amazing, uplifting and inspirational". Another stated, "I was profoundly impressed by the writing."

In 'Tighten The Lug Nuts', Rocky explores the ways a true leader can add value as a trusted advisor, mentor, and visionary who uses a process approach to lead the organization and its people to new levels of success. Whether you are a seasoned leader or are taking the first steps to becoming an effective leader, this is one of those books you will refer to over and over again.
