Author Cheryl Williams Named As Top Female Author In Poetry Category In 2019 Top Female Author Awards

Williams took top honors in the awards program for her recent book, 'A Collection Of Poems: A Journey Through Life'.

Author Cheryl Williams has been named Top Female Author in the 2019 Top Female Author Awards in the poetry category. The win came as the result of her most recent book, 'A Collection Of Poems: A Journey Through Life'. Williams was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors by a panel of judges.

"Writing this book of poems was a way to help me unburden, to share my struggles and triumphs, and that of so many I have encountered on my journey," Williams stated. " My hope is that my readers will be encouraged, and inspired to never let go of hope.

"I am truly blessed to have received the award of Top Female Author 2019 in the poetry category. This is not only a win for me, but for readers who will discover, and experience my book as a result of it."

Writing has helped Williams connect with her inner self, finding positive ways to cope with life's struggles. She has been writing and singing for as long as she can remember.

Throughout her childhood she sang in both the church and school choir, and also enjoyed singing at talent shows and music festivals. As an adult she also participated in concerts, performing as a solo artist.

Music and writing are the tools that bring her fulfillment and healing. Her book, 'A Collection Of Poems', takes us through the power of the human mind, good or bad, and its impact on one's direction and journey through life.

With the help of music, writing, and positive thinking, Williams found hope and purpose in life. Life isn't fair. It is unpredictable, bad things happen to good people, and we never know what tomorrow holds. Cheryl wants her readers to realize that even when faced with insurmountable, hopeless situations, even when life seems dark and uncertain, we should never let go of hope and appreciate the beauty and blessings that life has to offer, making the most of every day, loving, living, laughing, and learning. Seasons change, and there is always a rainbow after the storms of life.

Cheryl Williams is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at cherylw27@aol.com. 'A Collection Of Poems: A Journey Through Life' is available at Amazon. More information, including a number of videos and a collection of music, is available at her website at https://cherylhot6.wixsite.com/cherylpwilliams.

About Cheryl Williams:

Cheryl Williams is a wife, mother, author, and nurse by profession, with a passion for the Arts.

Her love for poetry started at the tender age of five when she recited the poem "Grandfather Frog” for a school function. Six years later, her world was turned upside down after her mother suffered a massive stroke. During those uncertain times, music, writing, and poetry helped her cope.

As a teenager, whenever she wasn’t caring for her mother, Cheryl spent her free time writing and directing short plays as a form of entertainment for the children in her neighborhood.

She enjoyed singing in the church and school choir, while also performing publicly as a soloist in concerts and talent shows. As a result of her mother’s illness and her responsibility to help care for her, Cheryl was inspired to pursue nursing as a way to help others heal; the same way writing and music helped her find a path to healing. She resides in New York.

Multi-Award Winning Author Linda Maria Frank Chosen As Top Female Author In 2018 Top Female Author Awards

Frank was chosen as the winner in the Young Adults/Teen category. Her works have been described as "Nancy Drew meet CSI".

Linda Maria Frank, author of Annie Tillery Mystery Series, has been the Top Female Author in the 2018 Top Female Author Awards in the Young Adults/Teen category. Frank was chosen from a field hundreds of authors by a panel of judges.

"Civilizations are defined by their stories," Frank stated. "First it was oral history, then parchment, and finally books. The stories in book, provided by the author, whether they be fiction or fact, give an insight into what the people of a particular culture believe at any one given time. What they say is important for it reflects their values, their history, their use of technology, and what they wish to tell future generations, or hide from them."

Linda writes great teen mystery books, inspired by a childhood passion for Nancy Drew books and the popular television series, CSI. She combines an appealing heroine, Annie Tillery, with a gripping story plot to create new fiction books for mystery readers. Her works are exactingly authentic, as she finished her teaching career in high school as a Department Chairperson, teaching biology, chemistry and forensic science. She then went on to teach forensic science and biotechnology at Hofstra University.

Linda has written 5 books in Annie Tillery Mystery Series:

The Madonna Ghost
Girl with Pencil, Drawing
Secrets in the Fairy Chimneys
The Mystery of the Lost Avenger
Making a Mystery with Annie Tillery

Reviewers have high praise for Frank's Annie Tillery Mystery Series. One reviewer stated, "Linda Frank might as well be the next Carolyn Keene with her new age mystery luring readers from every angle--suspense, romance, and modern forensics. This is a perfect book for all ages, particularly young readers who might find Nancy Drew a bit old-fashioned. Written in a way where every chapter leaves you with a crisp, familiar image of each character and location."

Linda Maria Frank is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below, or by email at lmf217@hotmail.com. All of Linda Maria Frank’s works are available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Ingram and Baker and Taylor. She appears on an ongoing basis on The Authors Show at http://www.theauthorsshow.com. More information is available at Frank’s website at http://www.lindamariafrank.com.

Profile:

Linda Maria Frank is a native of New York City. Her life-long career has been in teaching. She taught in Seaford, in the Middle School and in the High School. She taught science, ending her career in the high school as Department Chairperson, teaching biology, chemistry and forensic science. She went on to teach at Hofstra University, forensic science and biotechnology. She also supervised science student teachers at Adelphi University.

It was her forensic science courses coupled with her love of Nancy Drew and other mystery heroes that led her to write the Annie Tillery Mysteries, ‘The Madonna Ghost’ and ‘Girl With Pencil, Drawing’, 'Secrets in the Fairy Chimneys' and 'The Mystery of the Lost Avenger'.

She was awarded the Seaford High School Teacher of the Year in 1989, and received an award from the American Association of University Women in 1995 for inspiring young women to pursue the field of science.
