Scientific Proof Of The Afterlife Will Never Be Found By Researchers Says Brian McLaughlin, Author Of 'A Flight Without Wings, My Experience With Heaven'

McLaughlin's book about his NDE details his totally unique near death experience. It is raw and it's real. There is no embellishment, no preaching and no hidden agenda

While most people would love to see scientific proof of the afterlife, it is very unlikely that the existence of an afterlife will be found by scientific researchers, for a number of reasons.

Only a very small percentage of scientists believe in the afterlife and do not consider it worthy of study. When we combine that with the fact that an NDE is a mental experience and not a physical event we begin to realize that proof of the afterlife lies beyond the reach of science. Brian McLaughlin, author of an award winning book about the near death experience, 'A Flight Without Wings', believes science will never get there because science CANNOT get there.

"Some people may have noticed in the recent past, headlines that indicate scientific proof of an afterlife," McLaughlin stated. "The criteria that is used in metaphysical studies or quantum physics has not changed. There is no way to prove the existence of an afterlife or Heaven that way."

"A certain measure of spirituality is critical to the proof of the afterlife theories. Proving a realm beyond our 5 senses and 3 dimensions is impossible using traditional scientific methods.  Progressive thinking that falls outside that strict envelope is required, but difficult to accept for some.  Determining causation may be  difficult to the traditional scientist, so  one may need to examine the theories of people like Dr. Ray Moody, or Deepak Chopra, or even Amit Goswami.  It appears that their thinking is open ended, with more infinite possibilities."

"This proof we seek, for an afterlife and/or Heaven has to come from someplace outside our 'normal' methods. While science demands something tangible, an NDE is not and will never be tangible."

"Ask the questions… how would anyone describe absolute and total peace? Or pure love without agenda? Or freedom from fear?  Can we smell it- touch it- feel it- see it or taste it? These are the 5 senses used in traditional science to 'prove' things. Peace, love, or fearlessness falls outside those measurements. We will need to use unconventional means to establish 'proof'.  Most people are satisfied believing that there is or isn’t an afterlife, just based on their upbringing, or the belief systems they have defined through life. Those who require proof will have to embrace a more progressive way of thinking."

'A Flight Without Wings' offers us a look at the near death experience from an unbiased point of view. It is the presentation of the material that sets this book apart from the other books about the near death experience. It is raw and it's real. There is no embellishment and no hidden agenda. While his book has a spiritual flavor certainly, there is no preaching and no religious messages. It is his near-death experience, just as it happened.

McLaughlin's experience changed the course of his life forever.  It instilled in him what we all seek - certainty about life after death. And with that a peace of  mind that can never be shaken, nor can it be doubted. His near death experience brought a sense of clarity. It brought a sense of real, lasting peace. He now knows with certainty that we exist forever. It is that simple message he brings to his audience, both through his book and at his speaking engagements.

Brian McLaughlin will be making several live appearances in the Long Island, NY area in the coming months:

Sat.  August 27 - Rockville Center, NY - Street Fair
Sat.  Sept. 3 -  Freeport, NY- Book Signing

"If science goes looking for a man in the sky with a flowing gray beard, it will never find that certainly," McLaughlin concluded. "Yet science can prove there is a life force. How we use the word 'God' is a personal choice. Science can prove the existence of God, if we use the term 'God' in a different context. Likewise science can prove consciousness survives death of the body, but cannot prove the experience of love, peace or joy consciousness has after the death of the body."

Brian McLaughlin was chosen as one of '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' in 2015. Reviews of 'A Flight Without Wings' have been overwhelmingly positive. Dr. Penny Sartori, author of 'The Wisdom of Near-Death Experiences', said "This book will help others who have had an NDE to make sense of their experience and will also help those close to someone who has had an NDE because NDEs affect close family members and friends too."

Jack Magnus, a reviewer with Readers Favorite, called the book a "well written and moving memoir that neither delves into the fanciful or dogmatic,...”  "…Well worth reading, and is highly recommended." Another stated, "Being a mother who lost her only child I found it to be a great comfort to me." Another said, "I have read many accounts such as these, but this beautifully written account simply touched my heart in ways that previous ones have not."

Mark Feuerstein, Actor (Royal Pains, USA Network) wrote: “I have read it and I think it’s an inspiring tale of deep insight and so personal and yet so universal . . . such profound perspective.”
