St. Peter Would Tell Congress, 'Don't Bow to the Pope' Says Author Richard Ruhling

Dr. Richard Ruhling is an expert on Biblical prophecy and is the author of 'The Alpha & Omega Bible Code'

When Cornelius fell down to worship Peter, Peter said, "Get up for I am a man like you are." The papacy claims Peter as the first pope, but there is no record of it in the Bible and Peter would not accept worship as popes do.

Priests and popes also take vows of celibacy, but Peter was married. Celibacy is against man's sexual nature with a result of homosexuality, pedophilia, rape of nuns by priests (40% in one report) and abortion—abuses that are widespread in 23 countries, confirmed by the Vatican.

George Will accuses Pope Francis of “Fact-Free Flamboyance [as] he embraces ideas impeccably fashionable, demonstrably false and deeply reactionary. They would devastate the poor on whose behalf he purports to speak.” (Washington Post)

Catholic Congressman Paul Gosar is boycotting the pope's visit to Congress, saying, "If the pope spoke out with moral authority against violent Islam, I would be there cheering him on. If the Pope urged the Western nations to rescue persecuted Christians in the Middle East, I would back him wholeheartedly. But when the Pope chooses to act and talk like a leftist politician, then he can expect to be treated like one.”

"With the exception of Muslim countries and Russia," Ruhling stated, "the Catholic Church is involved in politics worldwide and this is its strategy to regain its lost power in a UN-run global government as Catholic nations vote the pope's agenda. Use and abuse of governments to enforce their dogma is a reason the Bible describes Rome as the harlot committing fornication with the kings of the earth, wealthy, decked in scarlet, drunken with the blood of saints and sitting on seven hills riding the beast of New World Order, a description that fits no other entity in Revelation 17."

Ruhling spent a summer in Colombia and Venezuela in 1960 and says many wanted to come the the United States, but half of them couldn't read or write. With the Catholic Church colonizing Latin America at the same time the United States was colonized by Protestants fleeing the Old World, Ruhling says God blessed our nation for its Protestant Constitution allowing freedom of religion and a government without a pope.

In Ruhling's opinion, freedom cannot exist in Catholicism. It teaches that “no man is free to embrace and profess that religion which, guided by the light of reason, he shall consider true.” The Syllabus of Errors, issued by Pope Pius IX, “condemns freedom of religion, conscience, speech, press, as it asserts the pope’s temporal authority over all civil rulers.” Rome downplays this for public relations, but the Syllabus of Errors is part of the ordination vows for priests worldwide. (Roman Catholicism by Dr. Loraine Boettner, Presbyterian & Reform Publ).

The pope’s Laudato Si' paints Sunday for “family values” and the economy to preserve “creation” but it turns the signpost from the Sabbath as the Creator’s memorial in the 4th Commandment to their memorial, Sunday. Pagan worship of the sun and the moon, named Allah, is as ancient as the Bible’s warnings against them, says Ruhling, adding that the apostles broke bread together daily, worshiping “every Sabbath.” The Bible doesn’t support Sunday worship.

Ruhling says numerous websites show the pope's title, Vicarius Filii Dei adding up to 666 in Roman numerals. Since the pope's agenda includes Sunday as a papal, non-biblical promotion, this should be a no-brainer. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."
