Author and CEO of Embrace Relationships Seminars Inc. will discuss his book 'Take A Look Within'

Elder Dane Cunningham will be appearing on The Authors Show, radio version, on September 11, 2009. He will be discussing his book Take A Look Within.

"Take a Look Within,” stated Mr. Cunningham, “was written to help people look at themselves as it relates to the relationship mistakes they have made in the past. In addition, the book was written to get the reader to think objectively, step outside themselves and see themselves as God sees them.”

“This book,” stated Mr. Cunningham, “will result in the reader personally seeking the Scriptures and will cause the reader to reflect on the biblical personality of Samson to understand life's challenges. It will teach one to think vertically and to ask God to reveal what is within one’s own heart and soul to help in regards to facing specific life challenges more effectively. Take a Look Within will provide the reader with water for life's journey and will reveal through the Bible how anyone can become the best person they can be.”

The 9-12 Project Show Announces Interview Lineup For The Week Of August 31, 2009

Each week, the 9-12 Project Show features interviews with political guests from across the country

Every week, The 9-12 Project Show features interviews with candidates for public office from across the country. This week Danielle Hampson, host of the show, features interviews with Earl Sholley, candidate for Congress in Massachusetts, Dave Funk, candidate for Congress in Iowa, Jesse Kelly, candidate for Congress in Arizona, Paul Lambert, candidate for Congress in Alabama, Paul McKain, candidate for Congress in Florida, R.J. Harris, candidate for Congress in Oklahoma and Bernie DeCastro, candidate for US Senate in Florida.

"The 9-12 Project Show", stated Ms. Hampson, "has no political party affiliation. It is about 'Americans First' and about bringing true leadership that represents 'We The People' so that we create a 'government by the people', rather than a 'government by the elite'. As we move closer to the 2010 election, the 9-12 Project Show hopes to feature candidates who adopt and live by the 9 Principles and 12 Values as set forth by the 9-12 Project launched by Glenn Beck early 2009. The 9-12 Project Show is an all volunteer effort."

"The goal of the show is to offer 9-12 candidates from around the country a platform to get their message to the public in a professional interview format. Questions and answers are about the candidates, their background, what they stand for, their platform, their short and long term objectives and how they plan to achieve them. Our current President very cleverly leveraged the power of the Internet during his campaign to get to the masses, and we need to learn from that lesson. As an entrepreneur who owns and operates an online radio/TV production & broadcasting business, I am able to offer to put the Internet media means at my disposal to help leverage that same power, in order to regain our country by putting the proper leadership in place in 2010."

Upcoming interviews include Rick Flanigan, candidate for US Congress in Oklahoma, Howard Houchen, candidate for US Congress in Oklahoma, Jay Le Suer, candidate for Sheriff in California, Paul Mitchell, candidate for State Senate in Illinois, Rosanna Pulido, candidate for US Congress in Illinois, Bernard Sansaricq, candidate for US Congress in Florida, Troy D. Stanley, candidate for US Congress in Florida and Dave Westlake, candidate for US Senate in Wisconsin.

Corporate Executives And Robber Barons: History Repeats Itself Says Rich DiSilvio, Author Of The Winds Of Time

History is repeating itself and the age of the modern day robber baron is upon us says Rich DiSilvio, author of The Winds Of Time. Reckless profiteers have infiltrated both politics and the media and, much like their historical counterparts, they may have set modern day America on the path to potential destruction.

As America entered the Twentieth Century, Americans witnessed a volatile period of creativity, ingenuity, and productivity. However, the highly ambitious and industrious tycoons of the day were also prone to unchecked and reckless behavior. Tagged with the name “Robber Barons”, Mark Twain aptly summed up their credo as such, “Get money. Get it quickly. Get it in abundance. Get it dishonestly, if you can, honestly, if you must.”

“As America entered the Twenty First Century,” Mr. DiSilvio states, “we have unfortunately found out that this credo is still alive and well, yet far more iniquitous and repugnant. Corporate CEOs have reached new heights of greed, by awarding themselves obscenely astronomical salaries and unwarranted bonuses. Worse still, others have mindlessly sold out American solvency and security by massive outsourcing initiatives to China and India, which has stolen jobs from tens of thousands of Americans, all to make a personal buck, or rather many millions of bucks. Of equal concern, their malignant power has found new ways to more effectively infiltrate and manipulate politics and the media.”

“Most ominous,” DiSilvio warns, “is the lobbying muscle of today’s robber barons that entice politicians with huge campaign funds; the result being that senators, congressmen and even presidents have too eagerly jettisoned their sworn public duties to embrace their overlords’ greedy agendas. These agendas can be to monopolize a new program, such as General Electric pushing for green technologies, since they’re well positioned to make huge profits with their heavily promoted yet lackluster windmills, or they can push politicians to deregulate their lustful appetites. This was evident in the case of AIG CEOs prodding Senator Chris Dodd, along with the aid of Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, to amend the Stimulus Bill with a clause that placed no limits on retention bonuses that were already under contract. Hence, AIG CEO’s power-managed their political underlings to fork over a 170 billion dollar bail out (of our hard-earned tax dollars) so they could turn around and hand over 165 million dollars to their top executives in the form of retention bonuses, many of whom took part in ruining millions of peoples’ financial investments and lives. The new age of robber barons mirrors the old, as they all are motivated by greed. This greed has carried over to the politicians in Washington DC, who have all been bought, and this ultimately secures their scandalous seats of power and keeps the unethical wheels of corruption in perpetual motion.”

Rich DiSilvio is the author of The Winds Of Time, a sweeping history of civilization that offers both hope and warnings. Mr. DiSilvio is available for interview and can be reached using the information below. The Winds Of Time is available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Buy.com, Borders, Waldenbooks, Alibris, and at DVBooks.net.

Author And Bullying Expert Derek Randel Releases The Stopping School Violence Manual

Author and nationally recognized bullying expert Derek Randel has released his sixth book, the Stopping School Violence Manual. Mr. Randel has appeared on Fox News Channel's 'The O'Reilly Factor', CNN'S The Nancy Grace Show, CBS Morning Show and other venues throughout the USA

Derek Randel, author and nationally recognized school bullying expert, has just released his sixth book, The Stopping School Violence Manual.

School violence is an unfortunate occurrence that has been sharply on the rise in the United States and countries all around the globe. The numbers are staggering: 160,000 kids miss school everyday due to bullying and school violence. 950,000 students across the United States bring weapons to school every month. Schools now report that over a quarter of a million students per month are being physically attacked during the school day.

"Silence only benefits the bully," said Mr. Randel. "School violence and bullying will never completely disappear, but it can be reduced significantly. This is not a problem that can be solved by doing nothing. One’s individual right to an education shouldn’t take away from the education of 25 classmates. We are cheating our children by not standing up to the bullies and removing the habitual ones from school."

In The Stopping School Violence Manual, Mr. Randel provides up to the minute information regarding:

Handling cyberbullying
Addressing sexting
Empowering your child
Approaching the school to get results
Addressing dating violence
How schools could reduce bullying

“As a society,” stated Mr. Randel, “we need to stand up and hold bullies accountable for their actions. Rules and laws need to be enforced or they are pointless. Bullies do not have the right to poison our schools and they do not have the right to take education away from others.”

Mr. Randel offers parenting workshops, individual parenting coaching and teacher and staff workshops covering school violence and bullying issues.

Mr. Randel is available for interviews and can be reached using the contact information below. The Stopping School Violence Manual is available at Mr. Randel’s website.

Derek uses common sense simple techniques that can be used immediately. Derek has been on numerous television and radio shows around the country. He shares his 12 years experience as a high school and middle school educator and has been nominated for a Disney American Teacher Award. Darryl Robidoux, Author of Home After Dark, Now Appearing On Authors Web TV

Darryl Robidoux’s new novel, Home After Dark, could be said to be a map to navigating our society, our jobs and our relationships to achieve balance. Through sharing the mistakes he has made, Robidoux sincerely hopes others will achieve success through lasting personal relationships, rather than through fleeting business connections.

Darryl Robidoux, author of Home After Dark, will be appearing on Authors Web TV through July 5, 2010

Home After Dark, published by Five Star Publications, could be said to be the book that many of us wished we had available to us as youngsters. The book is a delightfully frank telling of the life of a man who has lived outside the borders of mediocrity and yet achieves wealth and fame. However, after Mr. Robidoux achieves career success and wealth, he discovered that what was really important to him had been slipping away from his grasp all the while.

All men are imperfect. Some of those who become outrageously successful could be said to be more so. Home After Dark provides a penetrating glimpse into the life of one such man. Regardless of his imperfections, Darryl Robidoux manages to achieve the dreams, we all hold so dear. He overcomes fear, depression and failure during his rise to the top of America’s corporate ladder. He achieves wealth and prestige at age 40, but all the while, he is fighting personal regret and shame.

“I wrote Home After Dark,” said Mr. Robidoux, “to warn others about the pitfalls of unfortunate life decisions and to help them in balancing their ambitions related to a career and accumulation of wealth with their need for satisfying personal relationships. I hoped to provide an example of how any disadvantaged individual can rise above difficulties and to give a perspective on how life experiences contribute to fundamental happiness.”

“I also reveal intimate details of the early years of the computer industry in hopes that this would help others negotiate the complex demands of careers in high-tech industries and achieve a satisfying balance between their professional and personal lives.”

Mr. Robidoux's story, so richly detailed in Home After Dark, could be said to be a guide. It is a map to navigating our society, our careers and our relationships to finally achieve balance. Through sharing the mistakes he has made, Robidoux sincerely hopes others will find and achieve success through lasting personal relationships, rather than through fleeting business connections.

Mr. Robidoux will be a featured author on Author’s Web TV through June 5, 2010.

Profile:

Darryl Robidoux quit school and left home at age 16. He eventually joined the Army and became a member of the Army Airborne Paratroopers.

After leaving the military he joined the corporate world. During those years he worked for Norton Abrasives Int., IBM, NASA and the Atomic Energy Commission. Eventually he joined Xerox, studied at UCLA and retired at age 40. His personal life, however, ended up going in precisely the opposite direction, resulting in three failed marriages. It is only now that he has come to realize that real success is found in personal relationships and not in fleeting business relationships. It is this message he hopes to bring to his readership in Home After Dark.

Darryl Robidoux is available for interviews and can be reached using the information below. Home After Dark is available at BarnesandNoble.com, Borders.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, Target.com, IndieBound.org and FiveStarPublications.com.

Penny Pearlman, Author Of Pretty Smart, To Appear On Mind Your BIZness Through October 24, 2009

Author details why Miss America winners and contestants embody the values that can make one successful in any field of endeavor.

Penny Pearlman, author of Pretty Smart: Lessons From Our Miss Americas, will be appearing on Mind Your BIZness radio until October 24, 2009. In her book, Ms. Pearlman explains why being smart isn't enough to guarantee success and illustrates what else it takes through the inspiring stories of the women who became Miss America.

“This book,” stated Ms. Pearlman, “is an inspiring and provocative look at what it takes to be a winner. The lessons in Pretty Smart provide practical advice about dealing with naysayers and self doubt, how to bounce back from adversity and rejection, what to do when your motivational dial is at zero and how to employ the habits of successful people. Pretty Smart takes a fresh approach to the message of ‘following your dream and achieving success’.”

This book goes behind the pretty faces of these women and looks at what they have done to achieve professional and personal success and make a difference in this world. Highlights of their stories, from Jean Bartel, Miss America 1943 to Jennifer Berry, Miss America 2006 illuminate the universal truths of the secrets of success.

“So many people have asked me,” stated Ms. Pearlman, “how I came up with the idea for Pretty Smart. I’m a management consultant with a degree from Wharton and my only experience with Miss America was watching the Pageant on television. After surviving stage IV lymphoma several years ago, I decided to not just survive but thrive. I know what it means to have a dream and a goal and the drive to make them a reality. When I decided to write a book to motivate people to pursue their passion and looked for role models, Miss America popped into my head. Their stories prove that it takes vision, discipline, drive and yes, brains to win the crown and dispel the stereotypes that many have of women who participate in the Miss America pageant.”

Randy Kazandy Tour Coming To Orange County California

The author of the wildly successful children’s book will be visiting libraries, schools and bookstores in Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Dana Point, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Foothill Ranch, Lake Forest, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente, CA

Author Rhonda Fischer announced today that the Randy Kazandy tour will be visiting Orange County California. Randy Kazandy is the main character in her highly successful children’s book, Randy Kazandy Where Are Your Glasses? The tour will be visiting schools, libraries and bookstores in Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Dana Point, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Foothill Ranch, Lake Forest, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente, CA. Other towns and cities are slated to be added later this year.

Since its publication, Randy Kazandy Where Are Your Glasses? has become a favorite with children and parents alike. Widely praised for the rich illustrations created by Kim Sponaugle, the book was recently placed on display in the Children’s Illustrated Art Museum in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition it has been included in the current Follett listing, making Randy Kazandy Where Are Your Glasses? available to libraries nationwide. The book has been approved by Parents magazine, Old Schoolhouse magazine and Stories for Children magazine.

“Having Randy Kazandy accessible through these resources and on display at the Children’s Illustrated Art Museum is fantastic news for children,” stated Ms. Fischer, “as Randy will be accessible to children through schools, bookstores and libraries across the United States and Canada. I believe children who wear eyeglasses and their parents will really benefit from having this book available. The tour will bring Randy to life for children and parents everywhere.”

Using music, props, pictures, and kinesthetic experiences, Rhonda Fischer's highly interactive assemblies encourage children how to ‘love being me!’ The Catching Bubbles Song, accompanied by a display of bubbles that oscillate and twinkle through the air as kids try to catch the bubbles, fills the empty space. Children can be heard singing the Randy Kazandy Time Song all through the school, mixed with exclamations of ‘Hip Hip Hooray, It’s A Wonderful Day’. As an author, classically trained pianist, and educator, Ms. Fischer uses all these skills to inspire children. The children will capture the joy of reading, improve their writing, learn the fun of rhyme, and create works they are proud of. A small presentation will be displayed of Ben Franklin, Orville Wright and other famous people who wore glasses on request.

School visits can include assembly programs from 40 to 60 minutes in length, or all day affairs. The presentations are designed specifically for kindergarten through sixth grade age groups. Because Ms. Fischer cannot address questions during the large assemblies, classroom question and answer sessions can be arranged to give students a chance to meet her on a more personal level where all students can be heard and acknowledged. Evening programs can also be arranged and can include a family book night with the author. Children love listening to the story with their own pair of homemade glasses on. Ice cream socials, pizza parties, and potluck suppers have also been successful. Children can even be encouraged to dress in their pajamas.

“Ultimately the goal behind this book is to raise the self-esteem of a child who is required to wear glasses,” says Ms. Fischer. “This is almost universally perceived as a very negative event in the life of a young child. Now schools and libraries can access a resource that will directly address this issue in a way that will engage, delight and inform.”

More information is available at Ms. Fischer’s website. For general questions and booking information, contact the author at the address below.

Best Book Awards Finalist, Synarchy, Blends Conspiracy Theory, 2012, The Metaphysical, The Godfather And Stargate

Synarchy, the new novel by DCS, blends fact with fiction in a way that is both shocking and hopeful, while slowly unraveling the tightly laced reality we have created for ourselves. Synarchy is a 2008 Best Book Awards finalist.

Author DCS has recently released Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening, a cutting edge novel that combines 2012, conspiracy theory, the metaphysical, The Godfather and Stargate in a manner that may set a new standard for artists who hope to create entirely new genres. Synarchy addresses the question so many are asking as to whether the world will end just three years from now, while also tackling the more important question - "Do we really want to know?"

“With all the controversy and misinformation surrounding 2012, I believe that it’s time a novel came out that puts a different spin on things," said author DCS. "Synarchy leaves us looking at the world and its upcoming future with a different set of eyes. It is the only book that weaves together conspiracy theories, the metaphysical and the 2012 phenomena into a thrill ride of a story.”

Synarchy Book 1 exposes a plan centuries in the making and so sinister nobody could have predicted the depth of its impact on the world. In his lifetime Stefano Terenzio had a merciless ambition for absolute power. Two generations later the shock wave he ignited was still being felt. Now, as the world inches closer to 2012 sides are chosen, families divide and an epic battle begins that will determine whether mankind continues existing in a world of lies or shatters the chains that have held us prisoner since his-story was written. Shocking yet hopeful, Synarchy slowly unravels the tightly laced reality we have created for ourselves. Blending the metaphysical with conspiracy, fact with fiction, author DCS has opened up a world that will force us to rethink everything we believe we now know about 2012.

“It’s a lot of fun sprinkling the truth into the pages of fiction," DCS continued. "With 2012 fast approaching, it seems like everyone has an opinion on the possibilities. Synarchy is the culmination of my own in-depth research and gives the reader the full story while putting a different spin on what may happen on the planet just three short years from now.”

DCS has appeared on Freedom Fighter Radio and will appear soon on The Authors Show, radio version. Synarchy is available at Amazon.com and at the author’s website. DCS is available for interview and can be reached using the information below.

In FourEver Friends, Award Winning Author Erica Miner Describes Growing Up In The 1960s In Detroit MI

Miner’s new release offers an in depth, first person glimpse at an era that Baby Boomers look to with nostalgia and young adults look to with curiosity

Though many people today think of the Sixties as a bygone era,Boomers hold these years dear within their hearts and minds. Baby Boomers now make up a very large percentage of the US population. And, much like the generations before them, they have fascinating stories to tell. One of those stories has been released by award winning author Erica Miner. FourEver Friends, Erica Miner's latest novel tells the tale of four teenage girls set in 1960s Detroit.

"Originally," stated Ms. Miner, "I wrote the book as a love letter to my four ‘BFFs’ and to the school that gave us all an astonishing foundation that we were able to draw on for our musical lives. Now, with the impending retirement of Baby Boomers and the ongoing fascination with the 1960’s era, I realize just how timely the book will be."

In FourEver Friends, Ms. Miner takes us back to an era that Baby Boomers look to with nostalgia and young adults look to with curiosity. The 60s were a time of new hope and idealism that ultimately dissolved into volatility and violence. In a specialized inner city Detroit high school, four teenage girls have established the roots of lasting friendship. Their backgrounds are different, but their passion for classical music and angst over raging hormones link them irrevocably. The girls' school is a cultural melting pot of race and ethnicity in which students are judged by their intellect and talents, not the color of their skin or religious upbringing.

As the four friends negotiate the turbulent waters of adolescence and bond through their music performances throughout Detroit, forbidden loves and jealousies mar their closely-knit friendship. But they always remain loyal and true to each other. In the end, poised for the leap into their post-high school lives, they question their ability to maintain their closeness in future years, when increased possibilities of separation may threaten the sanctity of their group. Nonetheless, they swear lifelong loyalty as they set off on their new paths.

FourEver Friends is now available at Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and at Erica Miner’s website.
