100th Anniversary Of The Armenian Genocide: Award-Winning Author Frances Fuller Puts A Face On The Middle East

Fuller's memoir, 'In Borrowed Houses' details her many years spent in Lebanon as a Christian publisher. It is an utterly unique and engaging book that could have been written by no other person

Frances Fuller's award-winning memoir, 'In Borrowed Houses', gives us a penetrating glimpse of the Middle East from the inside. She puts a face on the Middle East many Americans have not yet seen. In that 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide, Fuller's story is especially interesting, as she interacted directly with the families of some of the survivors. In a recent post she wrote:

"Armenians around the world are observing this month the 100th anniversary of the great disaster that befell them at the hand of the Ottoman Turks.  For so many years they have appealed to the world to name this purge a 'genocide.'  And all these years Turkey, the successor state of the Ottomans who ruled the Middle East for 400 years, has claimed that 1,500,000 Armenians just happened to die in the fighting.

"Historical evidence keeps mounting---memories passed down, letters, old news clippings, excavations, even photographs, all pointing toward a systematic extermination.  The world knows that on April 24, 1915, Ottoman authorities in Constantinople rounded up 250 Armenian intellectuals and leaders.  Their disappearance was followed by mass murders and deportations.  Women, children, the elderly and infirm were marched by soldiers into the desert where many died of hunger and exposure.  The New York Times of December 15, 1915, reported that already a million Armenians had been killed or exiled.  About 23 nations, including Lebanon, have recognized this catastrophe as genocide.

"This is the background story of many in the Armenian community in Lebanon, a people who came as refugees, bringing nothing but their intelligence and talent, their love of art and music, their faith and their memories.  Lebanon received them into the fabric of a diverse country that they have enriched both culturally and economically. The Armenian Christians are one of the 18 faith communities who endured long years of civil war and invasions in Lebanon."

Told in short episodes, Fuller’s book reveals the alienation, confusion and courage of civilians in the Lebanese civil war, introducing to the reader a variety of real people with whom the author interacts: editors, salesmen, neighbors, refugees, soldiers, missionaries, lawyers, shepherds, artists, students. With these people she works, studies, plays games, prays, laughs and cries, all to the accompaniment of gunfire. Together these small stories tell what war is like for civilians caught on a battlefield, and they create the impression of the Lebanese as a fun-loving, witty, patient and resilient people. They also compose, not a political history, but a historical document of a time and a place.

Critics have praised  ‘In Borrowed Houses.’ A judge in the 22nd Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards called 'In Borrowed Houses' “…a well written book full of compassion…a captivating story…”. Another reviewer described the book as “Wise, honest, sensitive, funny, heart-wrenching…”. Colin Chapman, lecturer in Islamic Studies at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut said, “….western Christians and Middle Eastern Christians need to read this story…full of remarkable perceptiveness and genuine hope.”

Frances Fuller is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at frances0516@att.net. Fuller's book is available at Amazon and other book retailers. More information is available at her website at http://www.inborrowedhouseslebanon.com.

Three Signs Of Impending Apocalypse And Why People Should Withdraw Funds by May 3: Expert Richard Ruhling

Dr. Richard Ruhling, author of Apocalypse 2015, offers the three reasons for a potential May 2015 calamity

Dr. Richard Ruhling, Bible Prophecy expert and author of 'Apocalypse 2015', believes the US faces a major catastrophic event in May 2015. His reasoning is based on Biblical references.

1. "The day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night, for when they say 'Peace and safety,' sudden destruction comes." Seven nations climaxed a 12-year concern and 18 months of negotiation in the US-Iran nuclear "peace and safety" agreement. What that means is still being debated.

2. The next day, a "blood moon" from a full lunar eclipse occurred on Passover, the historic time of judgment. It was preceded by a rare solar eclipse on the equinox of March 20. "The sun shall be darkened and the moon turned to blood before the day of the Lord,". The word for "before" is 'paniym', meaning face or facing (impending).

3. Christ warned of an abomination that early believers understood to be military “standing where it ought not,” so when they saw the Roman army, they fled and were spared the siege by Titus in 70 AD. Many are seeing Jade Helm (Google) as a plan for military takeover of the Southwest, but Christians are poorly prepared to flee martial law in cities and dissidents could face “re-education” in FEMA camps.

Each time Christ said, “You don't know [understand] the day or hour,” He gave an example that fit a provision in their law for Passover a month later, (May 3-4 this year). “As the days of Noah” or “like a man traveling to a far country,” are phrases that fit the provision and connect Christ's parables like the foolish servant who didn't expect his master's return and lost his talent (money).

Dr. Ruhling offers more information at http://TheBridegroomComes.com and a free copy of 'Apocalypse 2015' on Amazon, Wednesday, April 22. He may be contacted using the information below, or by email at ruhling7@juno.com, prior to May 4 for interviews.

Author Daniel P. Douglas Announces Screenplay In Development For Acclaimed Debut Science Fiction Conspiracy Thriller, 'Truth Insurrected: The Saint Mary Project'

Daniel P. Douglas is a multi-genre author who turns ordinary people into extraordinary heroes. 'Truth Insurrected: The Saint Mary Project', is a suspenseful science fiction conspiracy thriller featuring former FBI agent William Harrison

Novelist Daniel P. Douglas, author of science fiction books and conspiracy thrillers, announced that his publisher, Geminid Press, LLC, has partnered with writer-director Jack Snyder to develop a screenplay for his acclaimed debut science fiction conspiracy thriller ‘Truth Insurrected: The Saint Mary Project.’ The suspenseful novel centers on UFO disclosure and in it readers plunge into a sci-fi storyline featuring former FBI agent William Harrison – a reluctant yet admirable hero – who finds himself hot on the trail of a major extraterrestrial cover-up.

The topic of the science fiction book is a popular one, especially in light of the upcoming release of the Fox film ‘Independence Day 2,’ and the recent announcement by the Fox Network that it will produce new episodes of its iconic ‘X-Files’ television series.

“I am very pleased that Jack Snyder, an award-winning filmmaker who has written, directed, and produced both features and short films, is involved in the development of the screenplay,” Douglas said. “Jack is a talented professional, and given the popularity of UFO and alien invasion topics in film and television, I’m very excited about what the future may hold for a screenplay of my sci-fi novel ‘Truth Insurrected.’”

Douglas’s debut science fiction novel has received critical acclaim. Foreword Reviews recently recognized ‘Truth Insurrected’ as a science fiction finalist in its 17th annual INDIEFAB Book of the Year Awards.

Kirkus Reviews described ‘Truth Insurrected’ as “A multigenre espionage tale that’s unquestionably entertaining.” The Columbia Review of Books & Film highly recommended ‘Truth Insurrected’ and described it as “An excellent science-fiction/conspiracy thriller.” Best Thrillers described the novel as “An engrossing, deftly-crafted UFO conspiracy thriller that is easily one of the most successful tales to emerge out of Roswell alien lore.”

According to Douglas, the ‘Truth Insurrected’ screenplay is expected to be completed by June, 2015.

Daniel P. Douglas is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at don@freepublicitygroup.com. An interview with Douglas is currently running at The Authors Show site. 'Truth Insurrected: The Saint Mary Project' can be found at Amazon.com. More information is available at Douglas's website at http://www.DanielPDouglas.com.

About Daniel P. Douglas:

Daniel P. Douglas is a U.S. Army veteran who has also served as a senior analyst in the U.S. intelligence community. A long-term civil servant, with degrees in Political Science and Russian Area Studies, Douglas has also worked in the museum profession. His travels have taken him throughout the United States, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.

As an author, Douglas creates epic tales – of the past, present, and future – with the most unlikely of heroes, and calls upon them to join extraordinary and mysterious struggles. His characters' sometimes-reluctant choices and actions put them on a collision course with destiny and reveal unimaginable truths. Douglas is a multigenre author who turns ordinary people into extraordinary heroes.

About Jack Snyder:

Jack Snyder is an internationally award-winning filmmaker who has written, directed, and produced both features and short films. In 2006, he co-wrote and directed the supernatural thriller, Ghost Image, starring Elisabeth Rohm (Law and Order, Abduction, American Hustle), and Stacey Dash (Clueless). The film sold to 20th Century Fox and NBC/Universal, has aired on the Showtime Network and The Movie Channel, and is currently available on most digital platforms. In 2011, Jack wrote, directed, and co-produced an action-thriller titled Fatal Call, which stars Jason London (Dazed and Confused, The Rage: Carrie 2), Danielle Harris (multiple Halloween movies, The Last Boy Scout), and Kevin Sorbo (Hercules, Andromeda). The film screened at Cannes in 2012 and was released in Redbox and on VOD through Warner Brothers. It is currently available on most digital platforms. He co-wrote an adaptation of a horror novel by the late writer of Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas. That film, titled Cold Moon, which he co-produced, is currently in post-production. When Jack is not writing screenplays or making movies, he teaches several online media courses at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Jack and his family currently reside in Los Angeles.

Wayne Clark, Author Of 'He & She', Takes 5 Star Silver Medal In Readers' Favorite International Awards

'he & She' is a powerful and penetrating look into male midlife crisis

Canadian author Wayne Clark has announced that 'he & She', a riveting work of fiction about male midlife crisis, has been awarded a 5-Star Silver Medal in the Readers' Favorite International Awards. 'he & She' is an in-depth, fictional exploration of the subject of male midlife crisis.

Male midlife crisis takes many forms. For some men it means simple low-level mid life depression. For others, a midlife crisis can be an agonizing experience, causing men to take sudden, dramatic steps that can change not just the life of one person, but many including spouses, children and other family members. Consequences can be separation, divorce, job loss and, in extreme cases, suicide. In the end, men in midlife crisis all ask the same question: What does a man do when nothing tastes good anymore?

In 'he & She', Wayne Clark gives readers a powerful and penetrating look into midlife crisis. A searing vision of the future, foretelling only pain, regret and failure, compels one man to make a last-ditch attempt to feel truly alive one more time, even if it kills him. His journey takes him down paths riddled with obsession, fantasy, alcoholism and BDSM, all wrapped in a smothering cloak of loneliness and desperation. Yet an image he finds by accident on the Internet triggers a tiny glimmer of the hope that compels him to take just one more shot at life.

"I am pleased," Clark said. "To have my book chosen from among thousands of entries from around the world was quite an honor."

“My novel," Clark continued, "is literary fiction. Much of it takes place in the main character’s head, which I believe is where people live most of their lives. It’s basically about a man getting to a point where most of his life is gone and what he sees around him is emptiness. Relationships are all but absent, as are goals, passions and libido. He asks if this is all there is to life, and panics. He ends up going on a journey he could never have imagined, in which he compulsively and blindly pursues an image he sees one night on the Internet, a young woman who turns out to be a dominatrix, a woman who ends up awakening in him an alter-ego of sorts."

Critics have praised the award-winning novel. BlueInk Review called it “… a stylish piece of literary fiction… intellectually engaging throughout. A finely drawn portrait of desire in its fall and winter seasons."

Wayne Clark is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at mtl1642@videotron.ca. 'he & She' is available at Amazon in paperback and Kindle versions and in all other digital versions at all major online retailers. More information is available at his website at http://www.wayne-clark.com.

About Wayne Clark:

Award-winning author Wayne Clark was born in 1946 in Ottawa, Ont., but has called Montreal home since 1968. Woven through that time frame in no particular order have been interludes in Halifax, Toronto, Vancouver, Germany, Holland and Mexico.

By far the biggest slice in a pie chart of his career would be labelled journalism, including newspapers and magazines, as a reporter, editor and freelance writer. The other, smaller slices of the pie would also represent words in one form or another, in advertising as a copywriter and as a freelance translator. However, unquantifiable in a pie chart would be the slivers and shreds of time stolen over the years to write fiction.

Rusty Blackwood, Author Of Romantic Fiction Novel 'Passions In Paris', Announces Upcoming Release Of 'Willow's Walk'

Blackwood's latest romance novel follows 'Passions In Paris', a romantic fiction novel written in the tradition of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and 'What Dreams May Come'

Canadian Indie author Rusty Blackwood, author of 'Passions In Paris', has announced the upcoming release of her latest romantic fiction novel, 'Willow's Walk'. The new romantic fiction novel is scheduled for release in late summer or early fall of 2015.

The path each person walks is entirely their own. The pitfalls along that path, as well as the way in which they are dealt with are entirely up to the individual. Most use common sense, and are successful in their plight.

But Willow Sutherland Crosby walks a far-different path, and with her own agenda.

'Willow's Walk' is a gripping new tale, certain to hold readers captive from the very first page. Set in the beautiful city of Ottawa, Canada in 2003, this touching story centers on the life and times of a woman determined to prevail at all costs, regardless of what is set before her, the result of which is certain to leave the reader reeling in its wake.

Abuse, deception, intrigue, and a never ending quest for happiness and love. Will she find it, or will her blind determination finally take her down? This is what awaits the eye within the pages of this inspiring romance drama by romantic fiction author Rusty Blackwood.

"I'm both excited and pleased to be able to discuss my upcoming romantic fiction drama, 'Willow's Walk'," stated Miss Blackwood, "for like 'Passions/Revelations' it comes straight from my heart, and through its writing, has brought me countless enjoyment, and sometimes heartache. But being the hopeless romantic that I am, it is my wish that it will encompass the reader within the story being told, and possibly the message within its telling. I truly believe that when one is young the world seems an endless array of opportunity and fun, never once do you think of  the possible pitfalls lying in wait because of a choice you've made; even if you do you often turn a blind eye all the while convincing yourself it won't happen to you. Very often the choices made in youth travel with you throughout your life. This is what 'Willow's Walk' is about, and I hope the message it delivers will help the reader with their own choices, and along their own chosen path."

'Willow's Walk' follows the release of Blackwood's romantic fiction novel, 'Passions in Paris: Revelations Of A Lost Diary'. Her first romantic fiction book is a sweeping saga written in the tradition of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and 'What Dreams May Come'. It has been compared to Erich Segal's 'Love Story' and Nicholas Sparks' 'The Notebook'. The novel has also received extremely positive reviews from reviewers.

'Passions In Paris' has received rave reviews. Linkk Kula Kane said, "Passions in Paris I think stands it ground with these other powerful romantic stories like 'The Notebook' by Nicolas Sparks. A long kindled love, which finds its place from a romantic spark in the mind of one, to a mounting real life experience between two different worlds, brought together by an on going weave of circumstances, doubts, mystery, and intrigue, that sets ablaze forbidden emotions on a roller coaster ride of endless desire, and surmounting obstacles, that test the strength of their determination to prevail. Miss Blackwood has a rare talent to bring this and more into the minds and hearts of those who have had the privilege to be transported into her wonderful world of story telling."

Reader Fred Pifer stated that 'Passions', " . . .is a fascinating book of a love story that seemed to be written with me in mind. In the book 'Love Story' by Erich Segal, he told of a deep abiding love story that reminds me of Cullen and Joy’s in Ms. Blackwood’s book, but the twists of intrigue and mystery that she adds keeps the reader on edge throughout."

Other reviewers have praised 'Passions In Paris'. Reviewer Cat Howard said, "Eternal love, finding your true soul mate, and how echoes from past lives can influence the present, this story has it all . . . " Another Reader's Favorite reviewer stated, "Enjoyable and exciting, this is a book for people who have romance flowing in their veins."

'Passions In Paris' has a 4 star rating on Amazon.

Readers can download the Kindle version of 'Passions In Paris' at Amazon sites worldwide, including Amazon.ca. 'Passions In Paris' is also available at Amazon in paperback, Barnes and Noble in paperback and Nook versions, at Create Space and in all electronic versions at Smashwords.

Rusty Blackwood is available for interview in the Toronto area and can be reached using the information below or by email at writerrusty@hotmail.ca. More information, including 'An Evening With Rusty Blackwood - Parts 1-3' is available at her website at http://www.rusty-blackwood.com.

Profile:

Rusty Blackwood is a prolific Indie author of romantic fiction, short story comedies, contemporary and traditional poetry and children's books. Her first love is romantic fiction, but she crosses genres with ease.

For many people, the titles 'psychic' and 'medium' mean much the same thing. There is a great deal of confusion regarding what differentiates a psychic from a medium.

Pat Chalfant, author of 'Spirit Lights, A Path To Mediumship', states that the difference between a psychic and a medium is that Spiritualist mediums meditate to connect with a spirit guide in the development classes that they are required to take in order to become credentialed. They subsequently get all their reading information from that guide.

Psychics, however, do not study meditation in development classes to connect with spirit guides.  They believe they get their information only through energy, vibrations, sometimes by laying out cards, reading palms, runes, etc., but not through a spirit guide.

“Because psychics are convinced that they are not guided by spirits, they tend to operate under the false impression that they can’t be,” Pat instructed.  “Actually, it’s easy for ignorant or rogue spirits to join a psychic who is giving a reading without being detected.  Rogue spirits resemble delinquent children on earth who hang out on street corners looking for unsuspecting passersby to heckle or take advantage of.  So because most psychics believe they can only receive their information through vibrations, sensings, reading cards and such, they can easily be tricked by ignorant or rogue spirits.  This kind of spirit sees the psychic going into a semi-altered state of consciousness, the light around her shining more brightly, as she concentrates on doing a reading and he causes mischief by surreptitiously slipping his ”two-cents worth” into the psychic’s consciousness and thus into her reading.  Because he doesn’t have the training that a medium’s spirit guide receives, he can’t work accurately with any reader, so his contribution to the psychic’s reading will probably not be very appropriate or evidential.”

“Before I could even begin to build a working relationship with my first spirit guide,” Pat revealed, “mysterious visions began to trouble me and I wondered if they could be what I had only heard about in past-life classes but had never experienced--panic attacks.  A friend who had been a medium for many years said she had once had a similar experience and suggested that perhaps it might be an ignorant spirit trying to influence me.  My friend suggested I should stop doing anything with mediumship for awhile.  I took that advice and the attacks disappeared almost immediately.”

“Months later,” Pat said, “a gifted medium was at the Spiritualist church I regularly attended and I had a reading from her.  She was there for just that weekend  to help our church by volunteering her time to work in our psychic fair.  She confirmed that my ‘panic attacks’ had indeed been generated by a rogue spirit.  That spirit apologized through the medium for having targeted me and for causing me such grief.  He promised never to do it again.  I didn’t have any more ‘panic attacks’ from that day forward.”

“It’s been about 20 years since that incident,” she says, “and I am now actually glad that it happened because, as well as doing readings, I teach mediumship and I feel well-qualified to advise students who may wonder what an attack by an ignorant or rogue spirit is like. It’s difficult to even believe that such a thing ever actually happened to me now, but it did and it can be a help to those who are studying mediumship and want to learn how to do it safely, so I now look at it as a blessing in disguise.”

Pat reveals that she has had several different guides for reading work through the years and she feels that because she initially established her connection with her first guide in the proper way, through meditation in a development class, her communication with each successive guide has always been clear and very effective.  Her symbols, which never change in meaning or in appearance regardless of which guide delivers them to her, have continued to allow Pat to give the same reliable information for readings that the symbols represented when she and her first guide established them together.  The meditative process that mediums and their guides go through is all extremely orderly and each new guide learns the lexicon of symbols Pat uses so there is always continuity of communication from one guide to the next.  So, as she describes herself in the opening of her book, she is now definitely a textbook medium!

'Spirit Lights A Path To Mediumship', explains how she, a real skeptic regarding such matters, developed mediumship abilities and now lives a life transformed by the spiritual. Mediumship is a controversial issue and Pat understands this, but she also believes that credible mediumship holds the promise of real benefits for mankind that have not been fully explored.

In addition to offering one-on-one client consultations, Pat has penned the 'Spirit Lights Song Book' and three of those songs are in the National Spiritualist Association of Churches hymn book. There are samples of the words and music on her web site, www.patchalfant.com, and ‘Spirit Lights’ song books for sale there, too. She does readings for clients by phone and teaches mediumship development classes. She has also created a DVD entitled 'Spirit Lights Psychic Development DVD'.

Tales2Inspire Honors Holocaust Remembrance Day Through Appeal To Everyone To Preserve Their True Stories

Lois W. Stern, creator of 'Tales2Inspire', hopes to preserve as many Holocaust tales as possible, and urges others to do the same. A story by Mark H. Newhouse, the son of Holocaust survivors, and a story of a hero who saved many lives while sacrificing his own, provide poignant proof of the urgency of this appeal

April 16 marks Holocaust Remembrance Day in the United States. Proposed by Steven Spielberg, film director of Schindler's List, a story of a Nazi party member who saved 1,100 Jews from extermination, on this day, both Holocaust survivors and victims of the concentration camps are honored and remembered through ceremonies held all over the globe. Due to the advancing age of the eyewitnesses, many of these stories may be lost and, sadly, many will be forgotten. Lois W. Stern, creator of 'Tales2Inspire', wants to recognize the heroes and the victims. She urges others to make an effort to help assure that these stories are written and preserved.

"When I created Tales2Inspire," Stern stated, "I never realized what an important mission it would fulfill, but now I see how deeply it has inspired others to preserve their true stories - stories which otherwise would perish. Several of these stories share memories of either Holocaust heroes or survivors, convincing me once again of the importance of capturing one’s stories of the past, before it is too late. As you read their stories, the passion of each writer is palpable. 'Tales2Inspire' has become a powerful vehicle for preserving an essential part of history."

"The urgency to preserve stories before they are lost forever was made very clear to me by the heartfelt regret of Mark H. Newhouse, the son of Holocaust survivors, in his story, ‘Legacy Lost’, which I was proud to feature in 'Tales2Inspire ~ the Sapphire Collection'. In this powerful, true account, this award-winning author for the first time reveals how he lost the opportunity to tell the true story of what happened to his mother, an Auschwitz survivor, and makes a poignant appeal that everyone, not just authors, record those seemingly unimportant stories for those who may learn and be inspired by them in the future."

“Life-changing events such as the Holocaust become immediate and arouse our emotions when they take on a human face. The story of one helps us understand the tragedy of millions,” explained Mark.

Another powerful Holocaust story that cries out for preservation speaks to the heroic actions of a priest during this tragic period in history. Through a chance encounter with a stranger in a German cemetery, the author of 'A Profile in Courage' learns the riveting details of how her grandfather, a Greek orthodox priest, sacrificed his life while safe-harboring hundreds of Jews. ‘A Profile in Courage', now published in 'Tales2Inspire - The Emerald Collection', again bears witness to the importance of preserving our stories as an essential part of history.

'Tales2Inspire' provides both published and aspiring authors with an opportunity to get one compelling, motivational story published, and offers those whose stories are selected for publication with some strong branding and platform building opportunities. “I don’t like using the word ‘unique’, explains Lois, “but 'Tales2Inspire' is truly unlike any other writer’s contest. First, there is no submission fee. Then, even after the awards are announced, I continue to work with the author of a ‘tale’ which shows exceptional promise. I do not charge for any of these services because I am committed to the ideal of 'Authors Helping Authors'. Of course there is something in it for me too as I get first rights to publication of each winning ‘tale’. But I also get so much pleasure in bringing these inspiring stories out into the world, for so many thousands of others to enjoy and perhaps even move to action.”

Stern and Newhouse are accomplished presenters who are happy to make themselves available for media interviews and presentations. They can be reached using the information below or by email at tales2inspire@optimum.net. The 'Tales2Inspire' series is available at Amazon and other book retailers. More information is available at the Tales2Inspire website at http://www.tales2inspire.com.

Profiles:

Mark H. Newhouse is the multi-award winning author of The Rockhound Science Mysteries and Midnight Diet Club, as well as other books and stories for adults and children. After his story, ‘Legacy Lost’, was honored by 'Tales2Inspire', Newhouse has embarked on a middle grade novel, tentatively titled, Mysteries of Our Past, where a young boy must become a detective to uncover how his family was murdered during the Holocaust. “The success of ‘Legacy Lost’ convinced me of the importance of keeping these stories alive," he stated. "I don’t want to see a time when children stop learning about this tragic period in history, but I also want to create a story that offers hope that we can overcome the hate that seems so powerful today. And I do believe that is one of the central missions of 'Tales2Inspire'."

Lois W. Stern, creator of 'Tales2Inspire', an “Authors Helping Authors” project/contest, is passionate about this project which she initiated three and one half years ago. She works tirelessly to encourage and nurture the skills of authors whose stories show unique promise, and credits each author for their stories published within one of the 'Tales2Inspire' collections. Stern is proud to have already published four 'Tales2Inspire' books: The Emerald, Topaz, Sapphire and Ruby Collections. Her goal is to continue to publish more books of wonderfully inspirational stories, which make great gifts for readers of all ages. The stories within this motivational series include true stories of many different themes featuring people, animals and inspiring, sometimes life-changing events. The important thing is that these stories infuse us with positive energy and hope.

Lois also wants to preserve stories that are not so serious, so for a change of pace she is hoping her next 'Tales2Inspire' book will be a collection of humorous, true stories, “because after all, humor is a great anecdote for uplifting one’s spirits and replenishing the soul,” she explains. The 'Tales2Inspire' 2015 contest is now underway, with a deadline date of May 1, 2015. Stern welcomes stories of many different themes and urges anyone who has a great story to share to visit her frequently updated website.

Signs Of Double Jeopardy For Jerusalem And US In 'The Day Of The Lord', Says Dr. Richard Ruhling

Dr. Richard Ruhling is an expert on Biblical prophecy and believes apocalyptic events will take place in 2015

"The day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, 'Peace and safety' then sudden destruction comes upon them.” 1Thessalonians 5:2,3. The nuclear talks between the US, UK, China, France, Germany and Russia reflect a 12-year concern with 18 months of negotiations coming to a head at this time to fulfill the Bible's sign, whether or not they all agree, says Dr. Richard Ruhling, Bible prophecy author.

Ruhling notes that “the day of the Lord” is also the focus when “the sun shall be darkened [solar eclipse on March 20's equinox] and the moon turned into blood before the...day of the Lord,” Joel 2:31. The “blood moon” on the eve of Passover, April 4 reminds us that it's a time of historic judgment.

Christians say “judgment must begin at the house of God” (1Peter 4:17), but Messianic Rabbi Jeff Weiss reminds us that God has two houses that need cleaning before He puts them together, Ezekiel 37:16,17,22.

That being so, Ruhling opines that Jerusalem could suffer judgment as part of their Passover April 4/5 and if we see tragedy as Zechariah 14;1,2 projects, we should pray the White House will reverse its blame game that has emboldened the enemies of our only ally in the Middle East—the US should act quickly to counter militant Islam, represented by a pushy ram in Daniel 8, where a goat flies from the west to break the ram's horns (weapons of militancy).

Historians say Alexander the Great's victory over the Medes and Persians fufilled Daniel 8, but Gabriel said, “the vision concerns the time of the end” (Daniel 8:17) and the Medes & Persians are now Iraq,Iran/ISIS. Even before war with Iran/ISIS, Ruhling sees judgment on the US, not only for pressure on Israel to divide the land of the covenant made to Abraham, but also for our own moral decay from the days of Roe v Wade.

"If we see Jerusalem's destruction, we should expect judgment that's been coming since a “Supreme Court” approved murder of the unborn--57 million have made US uglier than Egypt that murdered far fewer babies," says Ruhling.

More information is available at Ruhling's website at http://www.thebridegroomcomes.com.
