50 Wanda Drive, An Action-Packed Novella With Dark Comedy Elements Will Be Available In Ebook Form At No Charge November 6 Through November 8, 2024 At Amazon

Part of their "Film on Page Series," 50 Wanda Drive is another book from Bijou Entertainment that creates movies in the mind.

Bijou Entertainment has announced that their action thriller novella, "50 Wanda Drive," will be available at no charge in ebook form November 6 through November 8, 2024 at Amazon.

In the darkly comedic chaos of this book, a yuppie housewife, touted as a hero for saving a cat, wages all-out war against two crazed dysfunctional robber-murderers who crash her celebration party and wreak havoc on friends and family.

Paige Martin's world spirals into danger amidst absurdity when her family's celebration is crashed by dysfunctional but cruel criminals Reed and Otis, two brothers whose philosophy is best summed up as "God Hates You. That’s Why.” What should have been a fun day escalates into a whirlwind fight for survival, complete with a war-obsessed grandpa, a significant cat, and homemade bombs.

As these intruders hatch a half-baked plan to exploit the family's connections, they're met with comical but deadly defense tactics courtesy of Paige with the help of her teenage son. The secluded woods become a backdrop for a circus of errors, with villains inadvertently sabotaging themselves amidst botched escapes, and an all-out confrontation that sees Paige evolving from an accidental hero to a master of improvised warfare.

“50 Wanda Drive” is a dark comedy with a spunky female protagonist who doles out suspenseful vigilante justice in true thriller fashion. The book upends the home invasion narrative, proving that in a battle against clowns, it pays to have a few tricks up your sleeve.

The ebook will be available at no charge November 6 through November 8, 2024 at https://www.amazon.com/50-Wanda-Drive-Ginger-Marin-ebook/dp/B0D4BFT91B/ref=sr_1_1?crid=MIL4QM88ED8O&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.BOkVrHfT7fa0YMY852ZUsA.1lbqlNPKLlU9B47WQtRafYWPV9es8tOuT6-l29hJVqQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=50+Wanda+Drive&qid=1730151366&s=digital-text&sprefix=50+wanda+drive%2Cdigital-text%2C99&sr=1-1.

Bullying, Cyberbullying, Depression And Adolescent Suicide - Cheryl Williams, Award Winning Author, Advises Young People That The Hero Is Within In New Book And New Video

Williams took top honors in the Top Female Author awards program for her recent book, 'A Collection Of Poems: A Journey Through Life'.

We need only look at today's popular entertainment to see the overwhelming popularity of the hero image. Movies - everything from Batman to Supergirl, from Spiderman to Captain America - draw millions to watch these heroes in action. It is not only movies. Video games, television shows, comic books and action figures also bring in millions.

All of us, young and old alike, revere heroes. However we often make the mistake of believing that heroes only exist "out there", and that we could never live up to such heroic deeds or ways of engaging with the world. However, just the opposite may be the case. Award-winning author Cheryl Williams wants young people to know there is a hero inside every one of us. That is a message that all young people need to hear.

Today, young people must deal with issues that can overwhelm even the strongest of us. Bullying, cyberbullying, depression, adolescent suicide - all of these are added to the common, everyday challenges of simply growing up, growing out and learning to function in society. Given that, young people certainly need a hero. But contrary to what the entertainment industry might have us believe, that hero need not be summoned, but is instead already here.

Cheryl Williams, award winning author of 'A Collection Of Poems: A Journey Through Life' is a victim of bullying herself. She recently posted a new video to Youtube in which she addresses the hero concept and how young people can begin to find the hero within. The video ties in with a piece featured in her award winning book entitled, "Hero".

"I created the video titled 'The Hero Within' as a way to connect this powerful poem Hero to my struggles; the hopelessness, discouragement, and pain I endured," Williams stated. "I needed the world to hear me as I expressed my motivation for writing this poem and how finding my hero saved my life."

Hero

When life’s problems
Seem bigger and tougher
Than you
Your attitude will determine
If you will get through…..

Whatever curve ball
Life throws at you
Keep pressing forward
Find the hero in you

More is available at Williams' website at https://cherylhot6.wixsite.com/cherylpwilliams. The new video is available at Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjbFs9yRvH4&feature=youtu.be.

Williams was named Top Female Author in the 2019 Top Female Author Awards in the poetry category. The win came as the result of her most recent book, 'A Collection Of Poems: A Journey Through Life'. Williams was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors by a panel of judges.

Writing has helped Williams connect with her inner self, finding positive ways to cope with life's struggles. She has been writing and singing for as long as she can remember.

Throughout her childhood she sang in both the church and school choir, and also enjoyed singing at talent shows and music festivals. As an adult she also participated in concerts, performing as a solo artist.

Music and writing are the tools that bring her fulfillment and healing. Her book, 'A Collection Of Poems', takes us through the power of the human mind, good or bad, and its impact on one's direction and journey through life.

With the help of music, writing, and positive thinking, Williams found hope and purpose in life. Life isn't fair. It is unpredictable, bad things happen to good people, and we never know what tomorrow holds. Cheryl wants her readers to realize that even when faced with insurmountable, hopeless situations, even when life seems dark and uncertain, we should never let go of hope and appreciate the beauty and blessings that life has to offer, making the most of every day, loving, living, laughing, and learning. Seasons change, and there is always a rainbow after the storms of life.

About Cheryl Williams:

Cheryl Williams is a wife, mother, author, and nurse by profession, with a passion for the Arts.

Her love for poetry started at the tender age of five when she recited the poem "Grandfather Frog” for a school function. Six years later, her world was turned upside down after her mother suffered a massive stroke. During those uncertain times, music, writing, and poetry helped her cope.

As a teenager, whenever she wasn’t caring for her mother, Cheryl spent her free time writing and directing short plays as a form of entertainment for the children in her neighborhood.

She enjoyed singing in the church and school choir, while also performing publicly as a soloist in concerts and talent shows. As a result of her mother’s illness and her responsibility to help care for her, Cheryl was inspired to pursue nursing as a way to help others heal; the same way writing and music helped her find a path to healing. She resides in New York.
