It is almost that time of year again, Father's Day. Barbecues, picnics, swimming, giving gifts to the special men in our lives. Father's Day is a day when fathers are recognized for encouraging, empowering, providing and protecting. Some believe Father's Day is a commercialized day made up by the greeting card companies. That's not really true.
Father's Day was founded in Spokane, Washington at the YMCA in 1910 by Sonora Smart Dodd, who was born in Arkansas. Its first celebration was in the Spokane YMCA on June 19, 1910. Her father, the Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, was a single parent who raised his six children there. Then, in 1966, President Lyndon B. Johnson issued the first presidential proclamation honoring fathers, designating the third Sunday in June as Father's Day. Six years later, the day was made a permanent national holiday when President Richard Nixon signed it into law in 1972.
Of course, as Father's Day approaches, so does the mad rush to select the perfect gift for that (or those) special men in your life. Why not consider a special gift that Dad will cherish forever? A piece of unique keepsake jewelry like a cross necklace is always a great choice. Christian Jewelry, especially a cross necklace, is a wonderful choice for a man of faith, something that represents their beliefs and can be worn for many years to come.
B.BéNI Jewelry has a huge selection of inspirational jewelry, especially meaningful necklaces for that special man in your life. Each finely crafted piece of Christian jewelry features a passage from the Bible, and these comforting and inspirational words of Scripture provide comfort and encouragement for all men of faith, serving as a constant reminder of God's spiritual presence. Men's religious jewelry is a thoughtful gift for Father's Day or a birthday.
Taking it a step further, since Father's Day is a day when fathers are recognized for encouraging, empowering, providing and protecting, why not give your man a Christian necklace that honors our Father in heaven, who is the ultimate protector, encourager and provider? What special meaning there is in a piece of men's jewelry, such as a Christian cross necklace that your husband, boyfriend or father will enjoy and wear for years. The full selection is available at the B.BéNI site at https://bbeni.com/collections/men-s-jewelry.
In addition to men's necklaces, B.BéNI offers a wide selection of jewelry including bracelets, necklaces, sterling silver, earrings, Christian jewelry and more.

It's Never Too Late To Make Positive Changes In Your Life - Powerful Advice Offered By B.BéNI Jewelry
B.BéNI offers a game-changing idea to help readers pursue their dreams and live their best life, regardless of age or life stage
Inspirational jewelry company B.BéNI recently presented an idea on their website that is undoubtedly one of the best pieces of advice any of us could ever hear.
It's never too late to make positive changes in your life.
While seemingly simple on the surface, this idea holds the potential to totally transform one's life, regardless of prior history or experience.
The post, found at the B.BéNI site, reads in part:
Regardless of what stage of your life you are at right now, it is never too late to pursue and live your dream. It is never too late to make positive changes in the way that you live. Many of us have regrets about the things we should have done differently in our lives when we were younger. "If only I had..." has become an all too familiar mantra repeating itself in our minds. As the years tick by, if we don't begin to make steps towards positive changes, discouragement often sets in and we begin to feel that it is too late. This is an absolute lie! It is never too late to make positive changes and begin to move closer to whatever our dreams may be. Dreams may be as simple as getting fit or cleaning out and organizing your home to as big as starting your own company that you have always dreamed of owning. Especially now, as many people are living longer and more vital lives well into their senior years, a later start is much more plausible. Don't let yourself feel older than you are. Do not listen to people who act as if they are over the hill in their 50's or 60's...or even 70's for that matter. You are as young as you perceive yourself to be! People like that can be a very negative influence and quite likely will bring you down. My mother was an avid storyteller during her life and had always dreamed of writing a book of her short stories. Well, she accomplished that goal and wrote her first book at 85 years young!
Remember, you are not stuck permanently in the life you have now, even if it often feels that way. We may not be able to change our lives in any way that we want in the blink of an eye, that would be unrealistic. Most people have limits in many areas of their lives and change will take a little bit of perseverance and effort, but it will be well worth it. Everyone can start with baby steps and begin to move toward goals immediately. What about making a small change in an area that has been bugging you? From that small change you will begin to gain confidence and like building a wall one brick at a time, those small changes will construct a foundation that will make you feel positive, energized and hopeful! Bigger and better changes will surely follow. Start by asking yourself - What is one small step I can take right now to get started? Have you always wanted to do something but felt that it was overwhelming and daunting? What about taking a step and making one small change? I find that the hardest time for me is thinking about wanting to do something and not taking that first step. The feeling that something is too big or scary or difficult is one of the most common things to hold people back from taking any action at all. A fear-like paralysis. I find that once I actually break through the inertia and trepidation and actually start, I feel better almost immediately. It may feel slow or awkward when you take that first step but it's a start and you can build upon it, fine tune it and develop it until it becomes something good.

How To Stay Balanced And Healthy During The Holiday Season And Throughout 2019: Six Bible Verses To Help You
B.BéNI offers six powerful ideas to help get readers overcome holiday stress and get a great start on creating a fantastic new year.
Inspirational jewelry company B.BéNI recently presented six powerful ideas for staying balanced and healthy during the Holiday Season. Not surprisingly, these ideas are relevant not only during the holidays, but also throughout the entire year.
The Holidays are coming! It's such a special time of the year - celebrations and good times with friends, coworkers, and of course, family. However, it is often a time of year filled with tremendous stress for so many people, especially women. Let's try putting these biblical principles to work this year and perhaps things will flow more smoothly. I know that I plan on giving it a try!
1) 1 Chronicles 16:11
Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!
Make Time for The Lord During The Holidays
Ironically, during the holiday season, when extra time is nowhere to be found, we probably need to be in the word of God more than ever. It can seem almost impossible to get some alone and quiet time to turn our thoughts to our Father in heaven.
Get creative about reading the Bible if you’re struggling to do so. Listen to the audio version of the Bible on your phone or in the car. Try reading for five minutes before you get out of bed in the morning. It's a phenomenal way to start your day! You might even consider starting a special Thanksgiving reading plan or Advent devotional to help you focus on God during this time of year.
2) Galatians 5:16-18
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law
Avoid Overeating & Drinking Too Much Alcohol
Since the Christmas season lasts for a short time, from Thanksgiving to New Year, many of us see it as permission to overindulge in food and alcohol during this time. Honestly, it’s often really not worth the huge regrets that come after January 1st, when we realize not one pair of our pants will zip up. Christmas is a time to have good times with our friends and our family, but do we have to celebrate around excessive food & alcohol consumption? When did a meal with the family or a party with friends become an all-you-can-eat-and-drink fest?
Some helpful tips...
1) Try to stay hydrated, a thirsty person can quickly become a hungry person even when we really are not. Our bodies often mistake thirst for hunger.
2) Make healthier food choices, fill up on the veggies and fiber rich treats so you feel satisfied more quickly.
3) Keep moving, try to stick to your regular exercise routine if you have one. If you don't, maybe a good New Year's Resolution?
4) Get REST - don't allow yourself to become exhausted, that is a sure way to become derailed.
5) Eat slowly and enjoy every bite, your food will give you much more pleasure if you take your time.
6) Use common sense and self-control - You will thank yourself for it later!
3) John 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
Be Kind to Others
During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it’s easy to get caught up in the rush of crazy schedules, overspending to fulfill wish lists, and feeling overwhelmed by trying to keep up with it all.
It’s VERY important to step back and remember the true meaning of the season. Sure, the holidays are a time where we can enjoy traditions, create new memories, attend parties and gatherings, and spend more time with our loved ones...But what about going above and beyond giving gifts by also giving time, kind words, being helpful to someone in need perhaps. Spreading kindness or holiday cheer during this time of year can be as simple as visiting some lonely seniors in a nursing home, doing some volunteering, distributing holiday meals to those in need, treating a friend or coworker to lunch or dinner, the list is endless.
4) Colossians 3:13
bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
Forgive People
During the holidays there are many opportunities for us to see people that we have an unsettled or painful history with. People we haven’t forgiven as well as people who haven’t forgiven us. Many times, forgiving those who have hurt us is not easy. We would rather suppress the feelings year after year, than take the difficult step to mend the relationship.
When there is a very deep hurt or betrayal it’s much more difficult. We have to rely on the Spirit of God to help us forgive and move on. Most of the time, we have really no idea what people are going through. It’s very hard to see things from someone else’s perspective and to understand what motivates them to do the things they do. God will help us to see them the way He sees them, if we ask and pray about it. We really need to make a conscious choice to forgive them and ask God to bless them. At the risk of sounding cliché ( I’m going to say it anyways because I really like this quote) “Unforgiveness is like drinking poison yourself and waiting for the other person to die.” So true.
Lastly, A really nice idea is to buy them a small gift that will express you have brought closure to the issue and you no longer harboring unforgiveness against them. You don’t need to share that with anyone if you don’t want to but it will feel good in your heart.
