Christian Devotional Author Kristi Burchfiel's “365 Devotions Through The New Testament” Is Finalist In Readers' Favorite 2013 International Award Contest

Kristi Burchfiel is a Christian devotional author and speaker who believes in ‘living in the world while living out the word’. “365 Devotions Through The New Testament” is the latest release in her popular Daily Devotional Series

Christian devotional author and speaker Kristi Burchfiel has announced her recent Christian devotional, “365 Devotions Through The New Testament”, is a finalist in the 2013 Readers' Favorite International Awards Contest in the Christian Devotion/Study category. The new release is the latest in her popular Daily Devotional Series.

"I'm so honored," stated Burchfiel, "for this book to be chosen as a finalist out of the multitude of entries. This book is such an encouragement to me personally and I'm excited to see that others feel the same way. I have such a passion for sharing truth from the Bible and through this book people are able to read a truth directly from the Bible and know how to apply that truth to their life for that day. Being chosen as a finalist helps to spread that message even further so that more readers are impacted by the truth of Jesus Christ found in the Bible."

As all Christians know, the New Testament of the Bible shares the message of the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ. These 27 books have been studied for centuries as people are drawn to the message of salvation by grace through faith. Even today, readers turn to the New Testament to learn from the truths within the pages and to apply those truths to their daily lives, many through Christian devotionals.

Kristi Burchfiel’s new book allows readers to take five minutes a day to focus on a specific truth from scripture and to learn how to apply that truth in everyday life. The new book presents an overview of the New Testament with 365 devotions covering verses from each chapter of the New Testament.

"Since it's initial release at the very end of January," Burchfiel continued, "the feedback from those people looking for online bible studies for women or men has been fantastic. The book has received great reviews and I'm so excited to hear from people who are using these devotionals as a springboard to jump-start their personal relationship with Jesus Christ."

Kristi writes applicable Bible Studies. Her works include ‘Without Regrets: A Study Of Ecclesiastes,’ ‘The Decay Within: A Study of Amos,’ and an ebook series entitled ‘The Daily Devotional Series’, which includes six devotionals covering Genesis, John, Psalm and now the New Testament. Several years ago, God led Kristi Burchfiel through some difficult times in her personal life. Only by studying the truths found in the Bible did she find the answers she needed to get her life back on track.  She now works daily to continue putting those truths into practice.  She is passionate about studying the Bible and invites others to share in the peace of God through the truths found in God’s word. As a Christian devotional author, she believes in living in the world while living out the Word.

"Just knowing the word of God is not enough," Burchfield said, "we must live it out.”

In addition to writing Christian devotionals, Kristi speaks on a variety of different topics including sections from her Bible study books, devotionals, life lessons, personal testimony and the book publishing process. She has been the keynote speaker for women's conferences, led workshops during all day events, and delivered the message in worship services and Sunday School classes. She has also spoken with literacy groups and has appeared numerous times in interviews for websites, radio, and television. She also provides an online devotional for the day and other Bible tools.
