The Extraordinary Appeal Of The American Way Of Life Is The Theme Of The Adriana Corderu Series Of Books By Author David Michael Palladino

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction. His highly praised works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

As Americans we are often told, via the media, that America is rife with unsolvable problems at nearly every level. However nothing could be further from the truth. In fact America is, and always has been, the greatest country on Earth.

Freedom is the cornerstone of the American way of life. That freedom has been protected for hundreds of years. But it is more than that. America is one of the few countries in the world that consistently evaluates itself at every level, constantly readjusting to assure that we living up to our core values. Those values include decency, respect for all people, kindness, strength, justice based on law, government by the people and opportunity for all. American citizens protect those values at all costs, up to and including making the ultimate sacrifice.

Inspirational author David Michael Palladino believes in America and what America holds dear. He writes inspirational fiction that allows us to experience a time when America held hope and promise out to the entire world. The engaging story of Adriana Corderu is told through two novels, 'Adriana Corderu - Quest for Freedom' and 'Adriana Corderu - Western Odyssey'. In these books he takes the reader back to that period, immersing them in the history of those times. He clearly shows us what we were and, perhaps more importantly, what we might be again.

In regard to the first book, Palladino said, "If your world seems to go sideways, come and visit Adriana and all of your other new friends, and they'll let you know that you can make it through. Because once you've seen the world through the eyes of Adriana, it will never seem the same."

In regard to the second book, Palladino stated, "Take her to the airport. Take her to the beach. Spend quiet evenings with Adriana and all of your other new friends. They'll let you know that everything's gonna be OK. Because once you've seen the world through the eyes of Adriana, it will never seem the same."

Palladino teaches, through his works of fiction, important ideals and values. As a former U.S. Army Ranger, former High School Phys-Ed & Health Teacher and Coach, and founder of “Palladino Martial Arts,” he understands the significance of instilling these all-important ideals and values in young people. 'Quest for Freedom' helps communicate freedom's true meaning to a younger audience. For this reason it will appeal to parents, grandparents and educators and those who are old enough to remember what America used to be. Palladino deftly paints a picture of America as she really was during the Cold War. He shows us clearly why American freedom and American values held such appeal for many oppressed people in other parts of the world.

'Adriana Corderu - Quest for Freedom' is the first book in the series. During the first Cold War the world revolved around the conflict between the theologies of communism and democracy. The two main protagonists in this conflict were the United States in the West, and the Soviet Union in the East. As Eastern Bloc leaders began to tighten restrictions in the lives of their people, commensurate with their increase in power, there began to emerge, in the East, a group of young people, hard and idealistic, adventurous and courageous. These would become the heroes of the movement of their time. These were the brave young souls who, with inspiration from President Reagan, began to break down the Iron Curtain. The escape from Soviet Communism and the quest for freedom is the theme of 'Quest for Freedom'. Set in the Cold War era, the book is the engaging story of Adriana Corderu and her quest to obtain freedom by escaping the Iron Curtain.

'Adriana Corderu - Western Odyssey' continues where the first book in the series left off. In the second book, readers will come to know a whole new cast of characters as Adriana continues her journey as she experiences the refugee camps of Italy and comes to know Italian culture with a new family even while under the yoke of the Romanian Securitate, which is still trying to abduct her and bring her back to Eastern Europe. Readers will go with her into the cauldron that was New York City where the only safe place to be was where the Italian Cosa Nostra ruled and will then experience the wonder of the Laurel Highlands of Southwestern Pennsylvania and the rugged big-hearted people who live there.

Adriana experiences heartbreaking loss and the wonders of new love. Readers can learn with her as she remembers her sister’s revelations about America’s regular military, to include units like the 82nd Airborne Division, the 1st Cavalry Division, and the 101st Air Cavalry Screaming Eagles. Readers can then witness the heat of her emotions when she, for the first time comes into contact with men of the US Army Ranger Battalions. Adriana comes to know these hard men and learns from them of the dramatic differences and contrasts between the US regular military and the units of the US Special Operations Command and Joint Special Operations Command. Readers will be fascinated with units such as the Army Rangers and Green Berets, the Navy SEALS, and other units that make up the US Special Operations Division to include units from the Air Force and Marines. Readers will learn what really happened during Operation Urgent Fury on the island of Grenada in October, 1983 and of the US Military of the “Reagan Era.” The story of Adriana’s Western Odyssey will not only entertain, but will also educate and uplift.

'Quest for Freedom' has received rave reviews. One reviewer stated, "More native born Americans need to know this story and more importantly appreciate our country as she did." Another said, "The readers become engrossed immediately in Palladino's dynamic effervescent style."

In a personal correspondence to Palladino, LTC (Ret.) Anthony B. Herbert, New York Times Bestselling Author of 'Soldier', said "David, you are a fabulous writer!"

America And The Life Changing Gifts Of Freedom Are The Central Themes Of The Adriana Corderu Series By Author David Michael Palladino

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His highly praised works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal.

While the news media may have a tendency to focus on the negative aspects of life in America, inspirational book author David Michael Palladino takes an opposing stance. In his opinion, many of us have lost sight of what it really means to be a free citizen in the greatest country in the world.

In regards to the first book, Palladino said, "If your world seems to go sideways, come and visit Adriana and all of your other new friends, and they'll let you know that you can make it through. Because once you've seen the world through the eyes of Adriana, it will never seem the same."

They'll let you know that everything's gonna be OK. Because once you've seen the world through the eyes of Adriana, it will never seem the same."

The theme "Make America Great Again" implies movement in two directions: forward toward a brighter future and at the same time backward to a time when Americans held a set of core values that, in today's economic and political environment, have become clouded by negativity and fear.

The State Of The Union - Making America Great Again Is Finally Becoming Reality Says Author David Palladino

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His highly praised works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal.

In Donald Trump's State of the Union address, he addressed the economic success the US achieved during his first year in office. The stock market has risen dramatically and jobless numbers have decreased. All of this on top of a large tax cut and the rollback of regulations that should open allow businesses to thrive. Illegal immigration is down. Can there be more to come? We should all hope so.

Make America Great Again is a concept that implies movement in two directions: a move toward a brighter future and a move backwards to a time when Americans held a set of core values that, in today's economic and political environment, have become clouded.

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction that looks into the past to paint us a picture of what the American Dream used to be and how important it was to those of that time period. Through the engaging story of Adriana Corderu, he takes the reader back to that period, immersing them in the history of those times. Make America Great Again Message Is Not Just A Slogan Says David Michael Palladino, Author Of Adriana Corderu Series Of Inspirational Books

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction. His works address important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal.

During the 1980 Presidential campaign Ronald Reagan used a slogan that resonated deeply with American voters - "Let's Make America Great Again". That slogan became "Make America Great Again" and was used by President Trump in his bid for the presidency. Why use a slogan that had already been used?

Because that's what Americans want.

While there is a good deal of controversy in regards to what "great" means, it is this idea that ultimately brings all Americans together. Regardless of how one feels about immigration, border safety, globalization, Planned Parenthood or any of the other issues that divide groups of people, everyone wants to see America maintain its position of leader of the free world.

Author David Michael Palladino provides a vision of America in his works of fiction that, while based on historical events, also lay out a rock solid platform of American ideals and values.

"We must first ensure the safety of the nation," Palladino stated, "The US Border Patrol, the US Military, and all of our nation’s police must get the full support of our government. The partisan divisions must be wiped away we must come together under one banner. We have to drain the swamp and if the swamp is truly drained we will be able to trust those who occupy the United States Government. We must have eyes that see, ears that hear, and hearts that feel what is truth and what are lies; what is pure and what is corrupt; and what is right and what is wrong."

"If all of these things happen, America will become truly great again."

Palladino writes inspirational fiction. He teaches, through those works of fiction, important ideals and values. As a former U.S. Army Ranger, former High School Phys-Ed & Health Teacher and Coach, and founder of “Palladino Martial Arts”, he understands the significance of instilling these all-important ideals and values in people. Immigration, Deportation And American Values - David Michael Palladino's Books Give Readers A Penetrating Look Into American Ideals

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction. His works address important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal.

Supporters of the agenda laid out by President Trump are likely to find that the works of David Michael Palladino will resonate strongly with them, as the "America First" message underlies everything he writes. The focus on American ideals has been lost. It is Palladino's mission to bring those values back into focus through his books.

President Trump has taken a number of firm actions to protect US citizens from illegal immigration. Some judges have attempted to block the travel ban. Trump vowed to fight the rulings in court. Only time will tell how all of this plays out.

Immigration and the deportation of illegal immigrants are issues that dominate the headlines of nearly every news organization in America. Cities and states are fighting the Federal government while protesters flood the streets. Immigration is an issue that has divided the country, the government and the people.

However the real issue here is not immigration - it is instead illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is the attempt to take advantage of the opportunity America offers; to circumvent the legal process. Times have changed and the processes have changed.

In the past for example, immigrants from Iron Curtain countries truly were fleeing and escaping by land through Yugoslavia into Italy and through Hungary into West Germany. Today it is possible to just jump on a plane and fly to the United States.

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction. His books center around the engaging story of Adriana Corderu and her quest to obtain freedom by escaping the Iron Curtain. He teaches, through his works of fiction, important ideals and values. As a former U.S. Army Ranger, former High School Phys-Ed & Health Teacher and Coach, and founder of “Palladino Martial Arts”, he understands the significance of instilling these all-important ideals and values.

President Trump And The Restoration Of American Values - David Michael Palladino's 'Quest For Freedom' Paints A Picture Of America As It Was

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

The newly installed President of the United States has pledged to make America great again. The question we must now ask is, "What did America look like when it was great?" Author David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction that paints that picture for us. Through the engaging story of Adriana Corderu, he takes the reader back to that period in history and clearly shows us what we were and what we might be again.

"I have a vision," Palladino stated, "In this vision, the first order of business for the new presidential administration is to give carte blanche to those who occupy the institutions that insure the safety of those who occupy the nation."

"I have a vision of the US Border Patrol, the US Military, and all of our nation’s police receiving the full support of our new government."

"If these visions become reality, the United States will become the safest national domicile on earth."

"I have a vision of the partisan divisions being wiped away and of seeing everyone come together under one banner."

"If this vision becomes a reality; if the swamp is truly drained, we the people will be able to trust, again, those who occupy the United States Government."

"I have a vision of eyes that see, ears that hear, and hearts that feel what is truth and what are lies; what is pure and what is corrupt; and what is right and what is wrong."

"If all of these visions become one combined reality, America will become truly great again."

David Michael Palladino, author of 'Quest for Freedom', writes inspirational fiction for young people. He teaches, through his works of fiction, important ideals and values. As a former U.S. Army Ranger, former High School Phys-Ed & Health Teacher and Coach, and founder of “Palladino Martial Arts”, he understands the significance of instilling these all-important ideals and values in young people.

Cold War Immigration, The Reagan Years And Immigration Today - David Michael Palladino's 'Quest For Freedom' Provides A Stunning Look At Immigration

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

The subject of immigration is one of the hottest political issues today. On one side are those who want to build walls and fences, require stringent background checks and deport illegal aliens. On the other side are those who would open the doors wide. Why such a disconnect today? Who is correct?

Both sides are right.

The real question is not whether immigration is good for the country or bad for the country. The real question is the intent of the immigrant. It is a subtle point, and one that is very easy to miss.

Immigration and defection to the USA used to be about people's desire to live in freedom, escape repression, and the aspiration to improve the lives of themselves and their families. For some immigrants, that is still true today. But there are others whose only desire is to qualify for handouts or to perhaps accomplish a terrorist agenda.

“I wrote Book I, ‘Quest for Freedom’ in dedication to the great President Ronald Reagan and to those who were his children; the U.S. Special Operations personnel of 1980 through 1988," Palladino stated. "He loved us and we loved him back.

"I’ve written Book II, ‘Western Odyssey’ in dedication to all of those who, in 2016, have taken action and elected a new president who may give us, as a nation, one last surge to greatness. Here's to one more chance. May we never again take it for granted.”

Immigration, American Values And An Epic Journey To Freedom Are Detailed In David Michael Palladino's 'Quest For Freedom'

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

'Make America Great Again' is one of the most popular campaign slogans ever created. This slogan moves us in two directions simultaneously - back to a past in which America was perceived to be the greatest country in the world, and forward into a future in which can once again BE the greatest country in the world. That slogan resonates with people who believe America is on a downward slide. The upcoming election could solidify America's becoming great again or it could solidify its downfall.

Immigration is a key issue in political campaigns everywhere. Immigration however is not really the problem - illegal immigration is the problem. Illegal immigration allows people to take advantage of the opportunity America offers without actually joining American society and participating in all that comes with it. The offenders are willing to take that risk, as the alternatives offer little chance for true freedom. The desire to immigrate to the United States is held by people everywhere because America (despite what some politicians and news media might say) continues to be and indeed still is the greatest country in the world. Yes, the USA has slipped a bit and has a few serious problems. Yet in spite of this, America continues to lead the world in freedom, in core values, and is the most important commodity of all - the opportunity for a better life.

David Michael Palladino's 'Quest For Freedom' is the engaging story of Adriana Corderu and her quest to obtain freedom by escaping the Iron Curtain.

The Story Of Olympic Swimmer Ardiana Corderu, Who Defected To The United States, Is Detailed In David Michael Palladino's 'Quest For Freedom'

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

While the Leftist Politicians and the leftist US media are playing political games with the issue of immigration these days, many seem to be missing the key point. The desire to immigrate to the United States is held by people worldwide because America is the greatest country in the world. That is the point, and is ultimately the driving force behind immigration.

Immigration and defection, regardless of how they are sliced and diced, are really about people's desire to live in freedom and to escape repression. Defections during the Olympics have a long history, and include the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, the 1964 Winter Olympics in Austria, the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. Defections have also occurred in 1972, 1976, 1980, 1984 and 1996.

The escape from Soviet Communism and the quest for freedom is the theme of 'Quest For Freedom'. Set in the Cold War era, the book is the engaging story of Adriana Corderu and her quest to obtain freedom by escaping the Iron Curtain.

Immigration, Equality, Freedom And Opportunity - David Palladino's 'Quest For Freedom' Paints Immigration In A Different Light

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

Leftist Politicians and the leftist US media are having a field day with the topic of immigration these days. Sadly, nobody is talking about the most important point. They blatantly use the "immigration issue" to gain favor perhaps, garner votes (certainly) or to create attention-grabbing headlines to increase advertising revenues. In doing so, they obscure the core issue and the real truth.

Why do people want to immigrate to America? Because America is the greatest country in the world. However, few people are really talking about that. Donald Trump has struck a chord with the American people by stating his desire to "Make America Great" again and the American public has responded.

Paranoia about terrorism, drugs and the declining number of American jobs aside, when we look at immigration from a perspective above the battlefield of political talking points, we begin to understand that immigration is really about people's desire to live in the greatest country in the world. It is that message that resonates with huge numbers of the American public.

It is painful to watch anyone attempt to use the greatest strength America has to divide her in the interest of self aggrandizement. If the desire is to gain votes or create interest in current events, it might make more sense to focus in on the bottom line. America is the greatest country in the world - it is that message Americans need to hear, especially now.

Immigration And The Desire For Freedom - 'Quest For Freedom' By David Michael Palladino Gives Us A New Perspective On Immigration

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

The subject of immigration is one of the hottest news stories taking place in America today. Immigration is a bitterly contested issue, a divisive talking point, a topic for building political platforms and a fiery issue that divides people across every social and economic line imaginable.

So why do so many people hope to immigrate to America? Some people immigrate to escape the ravages of war or persecution or to better themselves and their families. Some hope to have the opportunity for better education, better jobs or to escape from poverty. Healthcare. The environment. Politics. Lifestyle.

While the reasons are many and varied, at the very core of the drive to immigrate is the desire for freedom. Freedom might imply "freedom from" - war, poverty or persecution. Or, freedom imply "freedom to" - grow, thrive, or to live in a specific way. Freedom - whether "from" or "to" - seems to be hardwired into human DNA.

It might be hard for some Americans to relate to this drive for freedom or perhaps to even understand it, as we have always had freedom. America is a primary destination for immigration as America sits at the very top of the list of countries known for personal freedom. America was built on the concept of personal freedom. In the current landscape however, many Americans recognize the need to be vigilant against potential immigrants who do not hold American values in esteem. But perhaps, in our need to be cautious about immigration, we have lost sight of what it is that makes America truly great. It is, in a word, freedom.

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young people. He teaches, through his works of fiction, important ideals and values. Immigration, Ronald Reagan, The Cold War And Freedom - 'Quest For Freedom' By David Michael Palladino Gives Us A New Perspective On Immigration

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

Ronald Reagan was a shining example of American leadership, not only in the eyes of David Michael Palladino, but also to many immigrants who hoped to reach the shores of America to find freedom from oppression. He has been quoted as saying "a nation without borders is not really a nation." On the other hand some have credited Reagan with the concept that America might serve as a beacon for legal immigrants who could add to America's prosperity. Perhaps Reagan's concept of America seems a bit innocent today, when huge numbers of illegal immigrants threaten American workers and, in this age of covert terrorism, perhaps the very lives of American citizens.

Reagan was also instrumental in bringing down the Iron Curtain. The escape from Soviet Communism and the quest for freedom is the theme of 'Quest For Freedom'. Set in the Cold War era, the book is the engaging story of Adriana Corderu and her quest to obtain freedom by escaping the Iron Curtain.

Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young people. He teaches, through his works of fiction, important ideals and values. As a former U.S. Army Ranger, former High School Phys-Ed & Health Teacher and Coach, and founder of “Palladino Martial Arts”, he understands the significance of instilling these all-important ideals and values in young people. The book will appeal to parents, grandparents and educators.

Politics aside, a vast number of Americans believe that America has lost its way. The success of Donald Trump, whose political rallying call is "Make America Great Again", plays directly into this theme. It strikes a chord with a huge number of American citizens who are old enough to remember what America used to be. Palladino deftly paints a picture of America as she really was. He shows us clearly why American freedom and American values held such appeal for many oppressed people in other parts of the world.

During the first Cold War the world revolved around the conflict between the theologies of communism and democracy. 'Quest for Freedom' has received rave reviews. One reviewer stated, "More native born Americans need to know this story and more importantly appreciate our country as she did." Another said, "The readers become engrossed immediately in Palladino's dynamic effervescent style."

Immigration, Deportation And Democracy - Inspirational Book, 'Quest For Freedom' Takes Readers Back To Cold War Era

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev recently said East-West relations were descending into a "new Cold War". This may be true. However, the world was a much simpler place during the original Cold War era. In those days, immigration served a different purpose.

Today, immigration is a hotly contested topic. Many people are immigrating to escape the horrors of war, oppression, turmoil, and poverty. Modern day terrorists see this as cover; an opportunity to move operatives into foreign countries. However, during the original Cold War, many people left oppressive regimes behind to find freedom. That quest is the subject of David Michael Palladino's latest inspirational book, 'Quest For Freedom'.

Escape from Soviet Communism and the quest for freedom is the theme of 'Quest For Freedom'. Set in the first Cold War era, it is the story of the beautiful Romanian, Adriana Corderu, and her quest to obtain freedom by escaping the Iron Curtain.

Palladino produces inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. As a former U.S. Army Ranger, former High School Phys-Ed & Health Teacher and Coach, and founder of “Palladino Martial Arts”, he understands the significance of instilling these all-important ideals and values in young people. He utilizes engaging works of fiction as the backdrop to accomplish that goal. This work will be especially appealing to parents, grandparents and educators. It is still very pertinent today in light of the world situation.

During the first Cold War the world revolved around the conflict between the theologies of communism and democracy. The two main protagonists in this conflict were the United States in the West and the Soviet Union in the East.

"This is the story of a brave young spirit who with inspiration from the great American President helped to inflict the first substantial cracks in the wall commonly known as the Iron Curtain," Palladino stated." Readers will be able to live the story of Adriana Corderu and her quest for freedom. Once readers experience the world through the life of Adriana Corderu, it will never seem the same."

'Quest for Freedom' has received rave reviews. One reviewer stated, "More native born Americans need to know this story and more importantly appreciate our country as she did." Another said, "The readers become engrossed immediately in Palladino's dynamic effervescent style."

Immigration, Deportation And The Appeal Of Democracy - Author David Palladino Reminds Us Of The Inspirational Value Of Freedom

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

In a recent article on the International Business Times website it was noted that many churches in the United States are attempting to offer asylum to people President Obama has targeted for deportation. The article stated that "at least 250 churches" contacted Church World Service (CWS) about "joining the 300 congregations that were already playing active sanctuary roles."

Immigration is top of mind with American voters today. Politicians use the topic as means to divide voters and garner votes. As a result, the citizenry of the United States has fractured into a number of camps. All the candidates - Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz  - have taken clear cut positions on immigration.

Immigration today is multifaceted. In years gone by, immigration took place to escape persecution or perhaps to establish havens of religious freedom. Today there is an economic component as many immigrants see an opportunity to improve their economic status. While many feel the US should provide a haven for anyone, this is perhaps not always the case.

Prior generations immigrated for one primary reason - freedom. While today we can all take sides, voice opinions and argue endlessly about immigration, (legal or otherwise), the one idea we cannot argue about is freedom, for freedom is the most basic of human rights.

Escape from Soviet Communism and the quest for freedom is the theme of 'Quest For Freedom' by David Michael Palladino. Set in the Cold War era, it is the story of the beautiful Romanian, Adriana Corderu, and her quest to obtain freedom by escaping the Iron Curtain.

He utilizes engaging works of fiction as the backdrop to accomplish that goal. This work will be especially appealing to parents, grandparents and educators. And it is  pertinent today in light of the world situation. While Americans often see only one side of the issue, that issue is much larger than many in the US imagine.

"I wrote the book," Palladino stated, “to help restore America's 'Spirit Of Victory'. The main character, Adriana, is the classic example of what the human spirit can accomplish when it is inspired. When readers are exposed to Adriana’s story they may start to believe in their dreams again."

The Refugee Crisis, Immigration And The Quest For Freedom - Author David Michael Palladino's 'Quest For Freedom' Gives Us A View From The Other Side

David Michael Palladino writes inspirational fiction for young readers. His works teach important ideals and values. He utilizes engaging works of fiction to accomplish that goal

The refugee situation the US faces today is a crisis of epic proportions, unlike anything seen before in the history of the world. All countries, including the USA, are facing problems that our forefathers could never have imagined. Immigration used to be a simple issue. This, however, is the age of terrorism and security is at the forefront of our collective consciousness.

Refugees and immigration have become political issues. The US has found itself under tremendous pressure from all sides. The refugee issue has literally split Americans into two camps - those who see it as a duty to help those in need, while the other side believes that to offer asylum to anyone carries far too much risk.  In the past, the open door policy held by the US government served as a model of both democracy and freedom. No more. Now politicians running for office use the refugee crisis as a platform issue. Immigrants are seen by many to be a threat to the economy and American jobs. Politicians use both to play on the fears of American voters.

It wasn't always that way.

Escape from Soviet Communism and the quest for freedom is the theme of 'Quest For Freedom' by David Michael Palladino. It is the story of the beautiful Romanian, Adriana Corderu and her quest to obtain freedom by escaping the Iron Curtain.

These would become the heroes of the movement of their time. These were the brave young souls who, with inspiration from President Reagan, began to break down the Iron Curtain.

"I wrote the book," Palladino stated, “out of deep concern for the state of the human spirit in America.  Adriana is the classic example of what the human spirit can accomplish when it is inspired to rise to victorious new heights.  When American’s grab onto Adriana’s story and their mood and demeanor begin to change, they will start to believe in their dreams again.  When that happens, American’s will start to fulfill their destiny and become everything they were created to be, then America’s ‘Spirit of Victory’ will be restored.”

'Quest for Freedom' has received rave reviews. One reviewer stated, "More native born Americans need to know this story and more importantly appreciate our country as she did." Another said, "The readers become engrossed immediately in Palladino's dynamic effervescent style."
