Her much acclaimed book, 'The Alphatude Attitude' has been made a part of the curriculum at the Vancouver Island College Of Natural Wellness. The program will educate students about the importance of proper animal nutrition and holistic health including proper animal food preparation, alternative healing methods for animals and many other subjects. The program is divided into 16 comprehensive lessons, covering every aspect of holistic nutrition and preparation for animals. Students in the program will gain hands-on experience by completing 5 animal specific cuisine creations.

"I so very honored," stated Ms. Moore, "that 'The Alphatude Attitude' was selected as part of the curriculum for the canine holistic health class of VICNW. Canine health and wellness is one of my top priories as a Chicago dog trainer and dog expert. Most dog behavior problems stem from physical or mental imbalances, so providing solid advice in proper nutrition, alternative healing methods and natural, holistic techniques to create equilibrium in both the dog and owner are part of my unique style. These methods work very well on rescue and shelter dogs that suffer from severe behavior problems such as aggressive behavior, barking and fearful, nervous anxiety attacks."

Vancouver Island College Of Natural Wellness strives to deliver eco-friendly Holistic Health Education. VICNW offers the Weight Management Coach Practitioner, Anti Aging Coach Practitioner, Holistic Nutritional Consultant, Master Herbalist, Holistic Health Practitioner, Homeopath, and Holistic Chef for Animals home study programs in downloadable formats. Their programs empower students to make a significant contributions to positive change.

"When I first began writing the 'The Alphatude Attitude'," continued Ms. Moore, "I wanted to make dog owners aware of the impact that their emotions have on their relationship with their dog. The public's reception of my book has been overwhelming, as it seems that there is a serious lack of awareness of the energy link between dog and man. VICNW has honored me by adding my book to their curriculum so that their students are introduced to my concept of 'mind to mind' training. I have always told my clients that 'dogs are just like toddlers with superhuman powers.' Toddlers with superhuman powers need the perfect balance of affection and authority which equals Alphatude (the act of gentle leadership) to keep themselves and the world safe.

After attending three dog training schools Ami Moore started dog training in Chicago. She was awarded the Chicagoland Tails award for best dog trainer and has been honored by various charities for her work with rehabilitating aggressive dogs. Ms. Moore also created the famous Guerrilla Group Obedience classes, and the 'Fido Fat Camp' concept so that loving pet owners could holistically increase their dog's health and wellness with exercise, natural food and psychological rehabilitation techniques. Ami Moore offered one of the first Chicago dog yoga or Doga classes in the city of Chicago.

She developed a three-tiered dog training and dog behavior management system based upon Alphatude, Amiability and Activity to balance the mind and body of the Chicago urban dog and dog owner which is explained in detail in her book 'The Alphatude Attitude' is available on her website at www.chicagodogcoach.com.
