Dr. Barbara Lavi Releases New Book And New Website For Those Who Have Lost Sight Of Their Dreams

Dr. Lavi's new book, 'The Wake Up And Dream Challenge', is designed to help people build a life that includes the dreams they may have lost or forgotten about

Dr. Barbara Lavi is a licensed psychologist, author, public speaker and dream catalyst. She has launched a new website to support the new editions of her book,  'The Wake Up And Dream Challenge'. A new print version published by Kiwi Publishers and a newly released Kindle version on Amazon are now available. The website includes a blog, a newsletter and will soon have a vlog as well.

Many people lose sight of their dreams. Some people follow their parents' dreams or simply fall into vocations that are not suited to their desires. Some take time off to raise a family and in the process do not make time for their own dreams. Others are laid off from jobs and feel lost.  For over thirty years Dr. Lavi has helped people who were dissatisfied with their lives do something about it and reclaim their aspirations. Dr. Lavi reports that she "was inspired to write this book by observing thousands of clients transform their lives & achieve their dreams."

In her book, Dr. Lavi shares the cutting-edge techniques she developed as a Staff Psychologist & Coordinator of both the Child & Trauma Teams at Harvard Pilgrim Health Plan, Clinical Director of the Delphi Center in Burlington MA and in her private practices in Boston & Connecticut.

Using vivid stories based on her clients’ accomplishments, Dr. Lavi shows how her system can work for every reader. 'The Wake Up and Dream Challenge' will:

- Teach readers how to 'dream it forward' at any age, regardless of financial, health or personal challenges;
-  Inspire readers with true stories of clients making what seemed impossible possible;
-  Demonstrate how to silence one's inner critic and be free from it's restraints;
-  Empower one to take control of one's future by becoming one's own 'dream parent'; and
-  Help the reader program their own DPS (Dream Positioning System™) to chart a journey to a happier life.

Author VC August of 'The Healing Hour', says that “Giving this book to anyone who wants to plan their future, is stuck in a bad situation, or wants to enjoy every crumb of their lives on earth, would be the best gift ever; the key to living life to the fullest.”

In an everyman’s version of the Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffet’s Giving Pledge, Dr. Lavi is donating 1/2 of the profits from every book sold to 21 Dream Nonprofit Organizations (A Child Is Missing, The Blind Judo Foundation, Boaz and Ruth, Camp Young Judaea, Compass to Care, D.R.E.A.M., Inc, Denver Active 20 –30, The Dr. Cynthia Lucero Center, The Elimination of Prejudice, Enchanted Makeovers, Green Demolitions, HerShe Group Foundation, Higher Ground,  Menorah Park Center for Senior Living, MicroMuseum A living Arts Center, Music From A Bottle, New York Says Thank You, Osprey Village, Inc., Rock & Wrap It Up, Simon’s Fund, & Voices Against Brain Cancer).
