The ‘Best Of The Best’ Of What Jesus Said – Terry Allan Christian Leads The Return To True Christian Values In 'What Did Jesus Say'

Rev. Terry Allan Christian sees real problems in Christianity today. He believes many pastors, evangelists and others have become storytellers who’ve lost the focus of the True Message of Christ. He hopes to re-establish believers' one-on-one relationship with Jesus Christ through his new book

For over 30 years Rev. Terry Allan Christian has made an in-depth study of the New Testament - specifically the words spoken by Jesus. He believes many pastors, evangelists and others have become storytellers and lost the focus and the passion of the True Message of Jesus.  The establishment of believers' one-on-one relationship with Jesus Christ has become his lifelong passion, his responsibility and his singular mission. The release of 'What Did Jesus Say: Seven Messages from the Master' serves as a beginning to the return to what Jesus really intended.

"The problem in today’s Christianity," stated Rev. Christian, "isn’t caused by the church being too difficult to get in. It's because some churches and evangelists have made it too easy. Only when we know 'what Jesus said', will we really know what He meant. And only then will we know what to do - after we’ve declared ourselves 'born again' in Jesus Christ. I believe this book could make the difference between someone knowing Jesus Christ and living in eternity or just hearing about Him from the story tellers calling themselves pastors, evangelists, prophets, apostles or bishops, and never really knowing Jesus."

Jesus said, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord' shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you: depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'" (Matt: 7:21-23)

"Now that one statement," Rev. Christian continued, "could compromise many of those representing Jesus on TV and in the churches of America. If we don’t personally know what Jesus said, then we personally don’t know Jesus. To me that would be a life lost. Over the last ten years I’ve counseled hundreds who call themselves Christians and they’ve never taken the time to read the Four Gospels and knew very little taught by Jesus. Yet they wonder why their life is difficult and they’re still sinning. Some even called themselves 'non-practicing Christians' who believe they’re saved no matter what they do.

'What Did Jesus Say . . . The Seven Messages from the Master', organizes the teachings of Jesus in a special format, using only the words spoken by Jesus and nothing more. The book puts readers into an imagined walk with Jesus on the beach, allowing readers to hear over 500 passages spoken by Him.

Featuring the "best of the best" of what Jesus said, makes this book a one of a kind. The scriptures, stripped of everything save for the words spoken directly by Jesus, have been reordered and organized into seven primary messages. At the bottom of each page are reference notes to find the chapter and verse from which the sayings are drawn in the Bible. The book is perfect for individual daily devotional, Bible study groups or spiritual retreats. It is appropriate for all Christians - the young, the old, the new believers and the life-long followers of Jesus Christ who really want to know specifically what Jesus said regarding these topics.

"The teachings of Jesus," said Rev. Christian, “become more obvious when we delete the stories pertaining to the religious and political conflicts and just focus on his teachings, calling for repentance, being born again and living in love, light and truth."

About Rev. Terry Allan Christian:

Since dedicating his life to Jesus in his early teens, Terry has constantly studied the red lettered version of the Gospels as recorded in the NKJB, always concentrating on the words of Jesus and the example of His actions. His acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior has been pivotal in carrying him through all his life challenges.

He developed a severe stuttering problem while growing up in a violently dysfunctional family, causing him to drop out of high school at the age of 16 and leave home with little hope for success in life. Terry’s world changed forever when, at age 23, the Holy Spirit spoke to him in a life-altering vision. In this vision, he was told that one day he would be a teacher of Christian principles. At the time, he stuttered so badly he was embarrassed to talk with anyone. Immediately following this vision, God miraculously healed his stuttering. He was also blessed to meet a man who taught him how to read a book a day and he began to study the best books ever written on the subject of personal development.

Since his studies began over 30 years ago, he has met and worked with some of the greatest thinkers and Motivational Speakers in modern-day America. He became a motivational speaker and corporate trainer himself, and taught over 2500 seminars and workshops throughout America and Canada. He always encouraged his audiences to pick up their Bibles, read the “words of Jesus” and make up their own mind, what’s real and true.

One day while in prayer, Terry felt the Holy Spirit re-directing his life. He was told to write a book containing only the words of Jesus. A book that would teach believers without interpretation, opinion or commentary. So he retired as a public speaker and began composing the book, 'What Did Jesus Say . . .  The Seven Messages from the Master'. It would take him twelve years to complete this calling.

Today, he leads Foundations for Life Ministries and lives in Atlantic Beach, Florida, where he counsels individuals and couples seeking a more mature understanding of their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Rev. Christian believes his calling is to help his brothers and sisters in Christ live in a never-ending state of love, truth and forgiveness. He says after "repentance", this was the main message Jesus taught; and teaching the way by the word is the cornerstone on which his book and ministry is founded.
