Bestselling Author Donna Louis Announces Ebook Giveaway For Book Of Proverbs, Proverbs For The Modern Day, September 5-7, 2024

Louis is the bestselling author of five inspirational Christian books. Louis’ books reveal God’s desire for our happiness and joy. The new book helps readers cope with modern day challenges such as inflation, war, political unrest and climate change.

The Bible has always been the go-to resource for Christians, especially when facing challenges. While always helpful, the advice found therein can sometimes seem dated. Bestselling author Donna Louis has brought the Book of Proverbs into the modern day in 'Book of Proverbs, Proverbs For The Modern Day'.

The ebook version will be available at no charge at Amazon September 5 through September 7, 2024.

'Book of Proverbs' recently ranked #1 in Best Sellers for Christian Inspirational, #1 in Best Sellers for Christian Devotionals, and #2 in Best Sellers for Christian Spiritual Growth. The book received a 5 star rating from Readers Favorite.

If you are struggling with daily life itself or maybe even deeper issues like suicide, anxiety, hopelessness, and depression Louis’ books will help you. Surprisingly, the answer to these and many other challenges have been around for thousands of years. If you're looking for hope, peace, happiness, prosperity, wisdom, and the fullness of life, look no further.

'Book Of Proverbs: Proverbs For The Modern Day' delves deeply into the timeless human quest for wisdom. As all Christians know, the primary purpose of the Biblical Book of Proverbs is to teach wisdom. The Book of Proverbs provides intellectual depth, insights, and exceptional wisdom on how to live a meaningful, joyful and tranquil life by honoring and respecting God as omnipotent.

This updated version of 'Book Of Proverbs: Proverbs For The Modern Day', discusses all chapters in Proverbs 1-31 and brings insight, clarity, and basic meaning to several verses in each chapter. It clarifies why wisdom is not only essential, but mandatory in life, if one hopes to live a blessed life, versus living destitute, empty, or feeling lost or hopeless. The book is rated 4.9 on Amazon. One reviewer stated, "If you want to gain wisdom this book is yours. Great book."

Another of Louis’s books, ‘Pearls of Wisdom, Inspirational & Motivational Bible Verses For Challenging Situations’, a bestseller in the Christian Spiritual Growth category, provides readers with a plethora of motivational and inspirational quotes from some of the greatest people that ever lived. Some have traveled through their journey of life and many others still are and they have gifted us with some of the greatest thoughts, examples, and testimonies for life ever.

The greatest book ever created, the Bible, is also referenced with some thought-provoking guides on how we should carry ourselves and live our lives. We are constantly in thought like the statue “The Thinker” about what we should do with our lives, how to live our lives, and the choices that we make are critical because they will determine our destiny. This is not something that we just want to flip a coin and see if it comes down heads or tails. We need to be grateful for the life God gave us and live it to his glory.

This book is a road map on how to handle challenging situations that arise in our lives. There are also prayers that you can read and say over these situations that will inspire you, bring you peace and bless your life incredibly.

Another bestseller from Donna Louis is ‘The Rain Falls On The Just And The Unjust’. As much as Christians or believers of God would like to believe that just because we acknowledge God in our lives, we should never have any sorrow, that is untrue. Just believing this makes us commit sin, because then we are not humble but haughty. We will all have challenges, disappointments, and unfair situations arise in our lives but as believers of God, we are to handle ourselves so that unbelievers will want to become like us. We are to trust, have faith and believe that God has our back and will keep us lifted above, fight our battles, and always cause us to Triumph. The book received a five star rating from Reader's Favorite.

Donna Louis’ previous best-selling book, ‘Thriving in Every Season of Life with God’, gives us a road map to create a mindset - a new life in which we can learn to prosper in any circumstance, however dire. This book achieved bestseller status in two categories: Spiritual Self Help and Motivational Self Help.

To understand what it means to "thrive," we must look beyond the dimension of finances. The concept of thriving can be applied to our health, our relationships, our habits and our peace of mind. God wants us to thrive. But it does not just happen - we must take action to make it happen.

Set against the backdrop of four "seasons of life", Louis, in the tradition of writers such as Joel Osteen and Joyce Meyer, discusses how you can thrive, prosper, and flourish. Much like growing crops, we prepare in spring, grow in summer, harvest in fall and rest in winter. At times, we must nurture and cultivate, at other times we bloom and reproduce, and at other times we harvest and replant.

'Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God' is a book that can be read in just a few hours and provides readers with powerful ideas and concepts that can be implemented immediately, allowing them to thrive in the midst of adversity. The book received a five-star rating from Readers Favorite.

Donna Louis' first book, 'Miracles of Direction, Miracles of Conquest, Miracles of Provision and Miracles of Purpose' helps readers explore miracles both past and present. The book explores biblical miracles that took place while Jesus was here on earth. She then references with miracles that take place on a daily basis in the modern world. She separates these miracles into four categories and presents insightful examples of each type, taken directly from the Bible.

Louis knows her subject well, as she has personally experienced four miracles. As the result of those life-altering experiences, she began an in-depth study of some of Christianity's most well-documented miracles. In her book, she attempts to expand upon and explain both the purpose and the direction of those miracles.

Louis has won a number of industry awards. She was chosen as the winner in the 2018 Top Female Author Awards in the Religion/Philosophy/Spiritual category. Louis was chosen from an international field of contestants by a panel of judges. She was also a winner in the 2018 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading Awards.

Louis' recent wins follow three awards in the 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading Awards contest (2015, 2016 and 2017), and two nominations in the Top Female Authors Awards.

'Miracles' has received rave reviews from readers. One review called it "amazing, uplifting and inspirational". Another stated, "I was profoundly impressed by the writing."

Failing to Figure Prophetic Sevens May Soon Impact Jews, Christians and Muslims Worldwide Says Dr. Richard Ruhling

Dr. Richard Ruhling Biblical is a prophecy expert and taught Health Science at Loma Linda University.

Noted researcher, Grant Jeffrey’s Signature of God, shows that His numerical signature is seven. Failure to count the 70 sevens in Daniel meant that Jews, wanting the Messiah to conquer the Romans, missed the nature of his coming so that Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD, also foretold in that ninth chapter.

But Christians failure to count the sevens in Leviticus may soon cause confusion as their prophetic picture changes, says Dr. Richard Ruhling, whose website offers supporting biblical references.*

Moses, also esteemed a prophet by Muslims, cited God as saying if Israel walked contrary to Him, He would punish them seven times over and Ezekiel shows they did so for 390 years. 7 x 390 is 2730 yrs. Sennacherib took Israel into exile in 722 BCE and they were not free to return to their land until 2008 or 2009 (no “0” year.)

The UN decision for Israel in 1948 rushed the prophetic period, so that Jews eager for free land are 90% of Israel that are not interested in their spiritual heritage, and will likely be taken out when Muslims siege Jerusalem--Turkish President Erdogan has urged this of 57 nations, says Ruhling.

Failing to factor seven times the 390 years may mean confusion for Jews and Christians who think the UN’s gift of land was God’s doing, in a premature fulfillment of Bible prophecy, seen when Muslims take Jerusalem in “the day of the LORD.” (Zechariah)

Ruhling claims Muslims will likely celebrate their Dome of the Rock mosque that has an inscription, “Allah has no Son,” when suddenly, “the Lord shall roar from Jerusalem…the heavens and earth shall shake.” He says Joel’s 3rd chapter also has “day of the LORD” context when God “will shake terribly the earth.” (Isaiah)

Zechariah says they will flee, and this will leave the land open for a better Israel. Israel means that God’s plan prevails for those who trust in Him and He will gather Israel out of all nations for the kingdom in Ezekiel.*

Ruhling cites the San Andreas as being 80 years overdue. He believes earthquake faults worldwide may be impacted as Christ warned in Matthew’s 24th chapter--“the goodman, if he had known…would have watched and not suffered his house to be broken by the thief,” and “the day of the Lord comes as a thief...watch.

We Can Choose To Survive Or We Can Choose To Thrive Says Donna Louis, Award Winning Author Of Book Of Proverbs And Her New Bestseller, Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God

Louis is the multi-award-winning author of three inspirational Christian books. Louis’ books reveal God’s desire for our happiness and joy.

An ongoing global pandemic. An earthquake in Haiti. Another in Mexico City and yet another in Japan. Louisiana hit with another hurricane, 16 years to the day after Hurricane Katrina. This one, Hurricane Ida, managed to kill 43 people and cause extensive flooding and property damage in New York and New Jersey.

These are not merely sensational headlines. These are hard, cold facts. Negativity bias aside, it is no wonder some of us see the world as a horrible place to be. Our brains are hard-wired to be on the lookout for anything that might threaten our survival, and we've certainly seen good reason to be fearful lately. Is having a positive attitude in the midst of such devastation a simple-minded, Pollyanna strategy employed to maintain one's sanity? Should we stick our heads in the proverbial sand, or recite an endless litany of positive affirmations in a vain attempt to shoo away catastrophe?

"No," says Donna Louis, award-winning author of the bestselling Christian book, 'Thriving in Every Season of Life With God'. “We have definitely reached the state of signs and wonders and they are occurring all around us. This is time for us all to not only be praying but to be praying FERVENT prayers to God. We also need to be generating ways to assist others who are struggling and who have been unfortunately placed in these dire situations that are taking place. A man who was a lawyer said to Jesus, “Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” - Matthew 22:35-40. When we reach out and love and help one another God sees this and helps us with a double portion.”

In the traditions of Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer and TD Jakes, Louis offers readers pragmatic and unpretentious ideas that can help readers take a different view of such dreadful events.

Donna Louis’ latest bestselling book, ‘Thriving in Every Season of Life with God’, gives us a road map to create a mindset - a new life in which we can learn to prosper in any circumstance, however dire.

To understand what it means to "thrive," we must look beyond the dimension of finances. The concept of thriving can be applied to our health, our relationships, our habits and our peace of mind. God wants us to thrive. But it does not just happen - we must take action to make it happen.

Set against the backdrop of four "seasons of life", Louis discusses how we can thrive, prosper, and flourish. Much like growing crops, we prepare in spring, grow in summer, harvest in fall and rest in winter. 'Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God' can be read in just a few hours and provides readers with powerful ideas and concepts that can be implemented immediately, allowing them to thrive in the midst of adversity. The book received a five-star rating from Readers Favorite.

Donna also presents powerful ideas and concepts via her YouTube video series, ‘Motivational Mondays With Donna’. The video series is available at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJCieSU2FYdC09F3YNkfzDw.

Louis is also the author of 'Book of Proverbs, Wisdom vs. Wilderness', which delves deeply into the timeless human quest for wisdom. Press Release: How To Deal With The Stress And Anxiety Of The Covid 19 Pandemic: Award Winning Author Donna Louis Shows Us How To Break The Grip Of Fear In Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God

Louis is the multi-award-winning author of three inspirational Christian books. Louis’ books reveal God’s desire for our happiness and joy.

Just when we believed things could not get worse, thing got worse. We’ve been hit with yet another strain of Covid-19, threatening to wreak havoc on an economy that has just begun to recover. It is a crisis unlike anything most of us have ever faced. Fear, anxiety, worry and stress seem to have become the new normal. Who knows what might possibly happen next?

While it may not seem possible, in the midst of such adversity, there is hope, if we can change our perspective to see things in a different light.

Donna Louis’ latest book, ‘Thriving in Every Season of Life with God’, gives us a road map to create a mindset - a new life in which we can learn to prosper in any circumstance, however dire.

To understand what it means to "thrive," we must look beyond the dimension of finances. The concept of thriving can be applied to our health, our relationships, our habits and our peace of mind. God wants us to thrive. But it does not just happen - we must take action to make it happen.

Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God is a book that can be read in just a few hours and provides readers with powerful ideas and concepts that can be implemented immediately, allowing them to thrive in the midst of adversity. The book received a five-star rating from Readers Favorite.

“Considering this situation, most people are panicking,” Louis stated. “People have so many questions regarding what will happen next. We need to remember that we deal in the natural, but God deals in the supernatural. God is not surprised about what is happening. Instead of becoming paralyzed with FEAR you need to press in and trust God that he will work all things out for your good. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” - 2 Timothy 1:7. Change is the only thing that is constant in life. We all will always be tested, even Jesus was tested while he was here on earth. The thing is we can’t pass these tests on our own we need God’s help. Don’t be fearful because God says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” – Isaiah 41:10.

Donna also presents powerful ideas and concepts via her Youtube video series, ‘Motivational Mondays With Donna’. The July 2021 lineup includes:

New Motivational Monday Video Series Episodes Announced By Donna Louis, Award Winning Author Of Miracles Of Direction, Book Of Proverbs And Thriving

Louis is the multi-award-winning author of three inspirational Christian books. Louis’ books reveal God’s desire for our happiness and joy.

Award winning author Donna Louis has announced the June 2021 episode lineup for her new video series, 'Motivational Mondays With Donna'.

Louis hopes to bring words of hope, inspiration, and motivation, delivered via video, that can help us deal with a world in which we are faced with mass shootings, political unrest, and a host of other problems. Faced with such difficulties, it is easy to fall into the traps of anxiety, depression or even hopelessness. In this series, Louis hopes to mitigate that somewhat and wants to let us know that God works in ways we cannot understand. While we might not be willing to see it, there is a plan behind appearances that can lead us to higher and higher levels of self-empowerment.

Subject for segments of Motivational Monday in June 2021 include:

June 7 - Adversity
June 14 - Praise and Worship
June 21 - Integrity
June 28 - The Benefits of Laughter

“In today’s world there is so much upheaval and unsurety that it is mind boggling,” Louis stated. “However, there is one thing we can always be certain of and that is God’s love for us all. He loves us so much that he gave his only son Jesus for all of us. Love must be at the center of all things. This is how we can and should be a beacon of light to the world. We should all be in some form or fashion inspiring, motivating, uplifting each other every day.

“The Bible commands us to do this. “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:11. “Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.” – Romans 15:2. Have you inspired someone today and given them a reason to believe in themselves and keep going? If not seize the day!”

The new series is available at Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJCieSU2FYdC09F3YNkfzDw

In her latest book, 'Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God', Louis presents the idea that we experience "seasons" in life, in much the same way as nature experiences seasons, with periods of both growth and decline. When we understand that, we come to see that a period of decline is not something permanent, but instead merely foreshadows a period of growth. The book, somewhat similar to the books found in 'Chicken Soup For The Soul' collections, is highly motivational and packed with powerful and engaging stories that give the reader examples of illuminating situations drawn from the lives of both Biblical-era and modern day people

Louis is also the author of 'Book of Proverbs, Wisdom vs. Wilderness', which delves deeply into the timeless human quest for wisdom. Mass Shootings In The US Will Not Be Stopped Until We Face The Truth Says Donna Louis, Award Winning Author of 'Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God'

Louis is the multi-award-winning author of three inspirational Christian books. Louis’ books reveal God’s desire for our happiness and joy.

Though it need not be said again, mass shootings in the US are at an all-time high. It has affected thousands of families nationwide. The headlines, day after day, scream at us about "Another mass shooting." Joe Biden called this an "epidemic" and "an international embarrassment."

While legislation mental health initiatives can mitigate the problem somewhat, we must look deeper at the root cause of gun violence. That root cause, regardless of how we frame it or attempt to sugar-coat it, is hatred. We can try to lessen the effect of that word by creating categories or well-crafted labels, but in the end, it is hatred in some form. Donna Louis, award-winning author of a number of inspirational Christian books recently had this to say:

"What is the greatest thing of all? Love. It is an insatiable craving. Flowers, romance novels, The Hallmark Channel, teddy bears, etc. The Bible says love is the greatest of all things. 'And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians 13:13.

"There is a Greek word 'Agape' listed in the Bible and Agape means the fatherly love of God for humans, as well as the human reciprocal love for God. In Scripture, the transcendent agape love is the highest form of love - (BritannicaEncyclopedia.com). The Bible says that we are to be Godlike. The Bible describes it this way, 'Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.' – Ephesians 5:1-2. Then there is the greatest known Bible verse ever, 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.' – John 3:16.

"Then why is it so hard for us to show love? Basketball is a great sport. Sometimes you can have great defensive games and other times you can have awesome offensive games. The highest ever scoring game was between the Detroit Pistons and the Denver Nuggets back on December 13, 1983 where the final score was 186 – 184 with the Pistons defeating the Nuggets. It is an absolute atrocity to know that mass shootings in 2021 can possibly surpass these numbers. There were 35 mass shootings in January 2021 with 23 people that were killed and 145 wounded. In February 2021 there were 43 mass shootings with 49 people killed and 152 wounded. In March 2021 there were 48 mass shootings with 70 people killed and 188 wounded - (wikipedia.com). We are still in April 2021, so final figures have not been calculated yet. When does it end?

"The Bible says, 'Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.' – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. If God could give his son Jesus for all of us, why can’t we give of ourselves for our fellow mankind? Stop the hate and start spreading love!"

As all Christians know, the primary purpose of the Biblical Book of Proverbs is to teach wisdom. The Book of Proverbs provides intellectual depth, insights and exceptional wisdom on how to live a meaningful, joyful and tranquil life by honoring and respecting God as omnipotent.

'Book Of Proverbs' discusses all chapters in Proverbs 1-31 and brings insight, clarity, and basic meaning to several verses in each chapter. It clarifies why wisdom is not only essential, but mandatory in life, if one hopes to live a blessed life, versus living destitute, empty, or feeling lost or hopeless.

2021 Will Be A Time Of Rebirth And Revitalization Says Donna Louis, Award Winning Author Of Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God

Louis is the multi-award-winning author of three inspirational Christian books. Louis’ books reveal God’s desire for our happiness and joy.

2020 was a year in which we experienced not only a pandemic, but also shocking social unrest, devastating unemployment, political divisiveness and changes we might never have imagined just a few years ago. If 2020 was a season, it would be winter - and a long, harsh one at that. Thankfully, no matter how brutal and bone-chilling, all winters must necessarily end in spring.

For many of us, springtime is our favorite time of year, as we can finally leave the numbing cold and the dreadful darkness behind us and move at last into the warmth and the light. Springtime is a time of renewed energy, growth, expansion, rebirth and revitalization.

Springtime is not just a change of season. It can also be seen as a state of mind. That reinvigorating state of mind is one of the subjects covered in Donna Louis' new inspirational Christian book, 'Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God.'

Louis presents the idea that we experience "seasons" in life, in much the same way as nature experiences seasons, with periods of both growth and decline. When we understand that, we come to see that a period of decline is not something permanent, but instead merely foreshadows a period of growth. The book, somewhat similar to the books found in 'Chicken Soup For The Soul' collections, is highly motivational and packed with powerful and engaging stories that give the reader examples of illuminating situations drawn from the lives of both Biblical-era and modern day people. She recently had this to say:

“When you are in the winter season of your life the best thing you can do is start a fire,” Louis stated. “Some of us have been fortunate to have been in the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts when we were younger. One thing they taught you is how to start a fire. There are three components to starting a campfire: The Tinder–The Kindling–The Fuel.

“Now for our purposes we will refer to the tinder which is wood and say it is the Bible. We will call the kindling prayer, and finally we will call the fuel praise and worship. We have the capability to start a fire any time, every day, even several times a day. We are encouraged to do this from the Book of Joshua: ‘This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”–Joshua 1:8.

“It is really remarkably simple what we need to do to remove all of the plagues that are surrounding us. God said it himself in 2 Chronicles 7:14: ‘If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Louis is also the author of 'Book of Proverbs, Wisdom vs. Wilderness', which delves deeply into the timeless human quest for wisdom. As all Christians know, the primary purpose of the Biblical Book of Proverbs is to teach wisdom. George Floyd Murder, Pandemic, Unemployment, Old Age, Poverty - How To Thrive In The Midst Of Overwhelming Adversity Is The Subject Of New Book By Award Winning Author Donna Louis

Louis is the multi-award-winning author of two Christian books, and the upcoming new book 'Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God'. Louis’ books reveal God’s desire for our happiness and joy.

It is no small wonder that anxiety and depression levels are on the rise in the US. Civil unrest and division pervade our society on levels akin to the 1960's. George Floyd and Breonna Taylor represent but the tip of the iceberg. Unemployment has adversely affected a huge percentage of the population. In the midst of all of this we are forced to deal daily with the Covid-19 pandemic that has to date caused over 200,000 deaths in the US alone. While sickness is a possibility for many of us, old age is a virtual certainty.

All of this is enough to overwhelm anyone. So why is it that some people seem to be unaffected by all of this uncertainty and unrest? How is it that some people manage to maintain a positive attitude in the very midst of all of it, while the rest of us experience stress, tension, anxiety, disappointment, and frustration? Is it possible to not only survive, but to thrive in the very midst of such turmoil?

How we might do that is the subject of award-winning author Donna Louis' upcoming new book, 'Thriving In Every Season Of Life With God'. Louis believes that we experience "seasons" in life, in much the same way as nature experiences seasons, with periods of both growth and decline. When we understand that, we come to see that a period of decline is not something permanent, but instead merely foreshadows a period of growth. The book, somewhat similar to the 'Chicken Soup For The Soul' collection, is highly motivational and packed with powerful and engaging stories that give the reader examples of illuminating situations drawn from the lives of both Biblical-era and modern day people. She recently had this to say:

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. As you can see when God created this world, he did it with seasons in mind. This was his intention, and this is the same way our lives are. We all go through seasons in our lives some euphoric and others despondent however we must remember that God is always with us. God told us fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. With this promise we can have confidence in knowing that whatever we are going through God will cause us to always triumph.

“The same way that God created trees in the Garden of Eden with all kinds of fruit that was good for us is the same way that God has created all manner of people black and white, the young who become old, rich and poor alike. We all can thrive in life no matter what obstacles may come our way. We must believe, have a vision, have faith, be hopeful always, have an attitude of gratitude, watch the words we speak, and trust God. Remember the Bible says I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. ‘The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.’ – Molière.”

Louis' latest published book, 'Book of Proverbs, Wisdom vs. Wilderness' delves deeply into the timeless human quest for wisdom.

The new release discusses all chapters in Proverbs 1-31 and brings insight, clarity, and basic meaning to several verses in each chapter. It clarifies why wisdom is not only essential, but mandatory in life, if one hopes to live a blessed life, versus living destitute, empty, or feeling lost or hopeless.

Pandemic, Racism, Unemployment And Lynchings - The Path To Peace And Meaningful Answers Can Be Found In The Book Of Proverbs Advises Award Winning Author Donna Louis

Louis is the multi-award-winning author of two Christian books, 'Miracles of Direction' and 'Book of Proverbs: Wisdom Vs Wilderness'. Louis’ books reveal God’s desire for our happiness and joy.

America is in turmoil. Thousands upon thousands of people have died in the Covid-19 pandemic. Protest marches and rioting have occurred all over the US and abroad. Racism has taken the top position on nearly every news site as the result of the murders of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and others. Unemployment is the highest it has been since the Great Depression.

Even lynching, most recently the case of Robert Fuller, has dominated headlines recently.

What can we do? We can take action to change what we can if we have the power to do so. We must live through the rest. The toll this takes on our collective mental health, not to mention the psychological states such events engender, is staggering. How do we find peace in the midst of such turmoil?

The Book of Proverbs never fails to supply meaningful answers to our most pressing problems. According to Donna Louis, award winning author of 'Book of Proverbs, Wisdom Vs Wilderness, it is within the pages of the Book of Proverbs that we can find the path to lasting peace even in the most dire circumstances. Here we find no anemic solutions but instead, timeless wisdom that has provided authoritative guidance to mankind throughout the ages.

“Love is a simple four-letter word, but it appears that many consider this to be an insurmountable goal,” Louis stated. “Jesus said that the first commandment is to love God with all thy heart, soul, and mind. Then the second greatest commandment is to love thy neighbors as thyself. However, all we see is the exact opposite. People killing people because of race or sexual orientation, and a list of other atrocities. The divorce courts are full of people who stated when they married, they would be together for better or worst. We all need to go back to the source which is the Bible and follow what it says. It will never lead you astray. ‘Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7”

Forgiveness Leads To Improved Physical, Mental And Spiritual Health States Kristi Burchfiel, Author Of 'Piecing Together Forgiveness'

Kristi Burchfiel is a Christian devotional author and speaker who believes in ‘living in the world while living out the word’

In a recent offering on the Inc.com website, an article written by Justin Bariso cited a study that appeared in the Journal of Health Psychology. In that study it was shown that forgiveness - of self and others - reduced the effect of stress, which improved physical and mental health.

Loren Toussaint of Luther College authored the study and, as mentioned in the Inc. article, in an interview in Time Magazine he stated that, ". . . Forgiveness takes that bad connection between stress and mental illness and makes it zero."

In the same article, Karen Swartz, M. D,. of Johns Hopkins Hospital was quoted as saying, "There is an enormous physical burden to being hurt and disappointed."

An article on the Mayo Clinic website entitled "Forgiveness: letting go of grudges and bitterness" mentions a number of health benefits related to forgiveness, among them "lower blood pressure, fewer symptoms of depression, stronger immune system and improved heart health."

Forgiveness, of self and others, can thereby provide real benefits across the physical, the mental and the spiritual arenas. Can the simple act of forgiveness really improve the condition of one's mind, body and soul that much?

Kristi Burchfiel, author of 'Piecing Together Forgiveness: A Study Of Philemon' believes it can do all of this and much more. In her latest book, readers will learn not only the principles of forgiveness, but also how they can be applied to impact one's life and relationships. Readers will find answers and see how to piece together a beautiful picture of Godly forgiveness.

"God created us to be relational; we are meant to be in relationships with other people, friends, loved ones, even God Himself," Burchfiel explains. “Because of this, it’s no surprise that broken relationships that have resulted in grudges and bitterness will have serious physical and mental consequences. Forgiveness, at its core, is about restoring relationships. When we are able to forgive others and to be forgiven, we are taking steps to restore the relationships that God has given us in our lives.” Burchfiel continues, “We need forgiveness to restore our relationship with God first and foremost. Then, as we forgive others, we experience the medical benefits for ourselves, as well as the potential for restored relationships with others.”

Kristi writes applicable Bible Studies. Her other works include ‘Without Regrets: A Study Of Ecclesiastes,’ ‘The Decay Within: A Study of Amos,’ and an ebook series entitled ‘The Daily Devotional Series’, which includes eleven devotionals covering multiple books in the Bible including Genesis, John, Psalm and the New Testament. Several years ago, God led Kristi Burchfiel through some difficult times in her personal life. Only by studying and applying the truths found in the Bible did she find the answers she needed to get her life back on track.  She now works daily to continue putting those truths into practice.  She is passionate about studying the Bible and invites others to share in the peace of God through the truths found in God’s word. As a Christian devotional author, she believes in living in the world while living out the Word.

"Just knowing the word of God is not enough," Burchfiel said, "we must live it out.”

In addition to writing Christian devotionals, Kristi speaks on a variety of different topics including sections from her Bible study books, devotionals, life lessons, personal testimony and the book publishing process. She has been the keynote speaker for women's conferences, led workshops during all day events, and delivered the message in worship services and Sunday School classes. She has also spoken with literacy groups and has appeared numerous times in interviews for websites, radio, and television. She also provides an online devotional for the day and other Bible tools.

The Importance Of Miracles Past And Present - Author Donna Louis Gives Readers The Most Important Gift Of All - Hope

Donna Louis provides an in-depth study of some of Christianity's most well-documented miracles. She attempts to expand and explain both the purpose and the direction of those miracles

As detailed on a number of news sites recently, including a piece on WGN-TV.com, a 70 year old woman in India gave birth to her first child. Daljinder Kaur gave birth last month after two years of treatment using donor eggs at a fertility clinic in the northern state of Haryana. Their son, born healthy and hearty and weighing 4.4lb, was named Arman.

"God heard our prayers. My life feels complete now,” she told Agence France-Presse. “I am looking after the baby all by myself. I feel so full of energy. My husband is also very caring and helps me as much as he can.”

Is this a modern day miracle? Many believe it is. It is a stunning example of hope and faith.

Miracles are important for one primary reason - they give us hope at a completely different level. While hope is important, miracles give us the proof that there is a real, verifiable reason to hope. Hope without a reason for hope is just empty. Hope combined with a verifiable reason for hope becomes faith. Without faith, a human life holds not much more value than an animal's life or the life of a tree. Miracles lead to hope, hope to faith and faith to belief in the sanctity and value of human life. They put our lives in perspective within the framework of the universe.

Donna Louis' new book, 'Miracles of Direction, Miracles of Conquest, Miracles of Provision and Miracles of Purpose' explores biblical miracles that took place while Jesus was here on earth. She then references with miracles that take place on a daily basis in the modern world. She separates these miracles into four categories and presents insightful example of each type, taken directly from the Bible.

Louis knows her subject well, as she has personally experienced three miracles. As the result of those life-altering experiences, she began an in-depth study of some of Christianity's most well-documented miracles. In her book, she attempts to expand upon and explain both the purpose and the direction of those miracles.

"I wrote this book so that people can know that GOD is still in the miracle working business now just like he was in the Old Testament," Louis stated. "Once we have no hope we might as well be dead! Hope allows us to dream about what could happen or what could be true. I see hope as H = Healthy O = Outlook P = Positive E = Energy. This is what we need to have on a daily basis. A healthy outlook with positive energy about our futures."

Donna Louis was chosen as a winner in the 2015 '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' awards contest. 'Miracles' has also received rave reviews from readers. One review called it "amazing, uplifting and inspirational". Another stated, "I was profoundly impressed by the writing."

Donna Louis is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at donnalouisgodsmessenger@aol.com. Forgiveness For Others Brings Freedom To Self - Kristi Burchfiel, Author Of 'Piecing Together Forgiveness’, Believes Forgiveness Is A Key Step Towards Healing

Kristi Burchfiel is a Christian devotional author and speaker who believes in ‘living in the world while living out the word’

A recent article posted on the NewsOK website, entitled "Forgiveness isn't for the offender', made a very strong point in regards to forgiveness that many sincere Christians may miss. While we might believe forgiveness is for the offender, it is not. It is for the victim. Forgiveness, seen from the proper perspective, frees us from pain and allows us to see others through God's eyes. It allows us to drop the burden of judgment. Kristi Burchfiel, author of 'Piecing Together Forgiveness: A Study Of Philemon', believes forgiveness is one building block that helps form the basis of a direct relationship with God.

“At its very core, forgiveness is about relationships,” Burchfiel explains. “Forgiveness was created by God because when we sinned, we damaged our relationship with God. He created forgiveness as the means through which our relationship with Him can be restored. Forgiveness starts with our relationship with God through Jesus Christ, then moves through to impact every other relationship in our life. Only by addressing our core relationship problem with God will we be able to take that next step toward healing and forgive others.”

In 'Piecing Together Forgiveness: A Study Of Philemon', readers will learn not only the principles of forgiveness, but also how they can be applied to impact one's life and relationships. Readers will find answers and see how to piece together a beautiful picture of Godly forgiveness.

Real Life Miracle Stories - Author Donna Louis Releases New Christian Book Exploring Real Life Miracle Stories

Donna Louis has experienced three miraculous events. As the result of her experiences, she began an in-depth study of some of Christianity's most well-documented miracles and offers a book that explores these miraculous events

Miracles happen. Pope Francis named 10 saints in 2015. He also recognized Mother Teresa's second miracle, paving her way to sainthood, scheduled to happen in September of 2016.

A miracle is a real-world event that transcends known scientific laws. In Mother Teresa's case, a 30 year old woman in Kolkata said she was cured of a stomach tumor after praying to Mother Teresa. A Vatican committee said it could find no scientific explanation for her healing and declared it a miracle. Miracles do happen and nobody knows that better than Donna Louis, author of "Miracles of Direction, Miracles of Conquest, Miracles of Provision, Miracles of Purpose'.

Louis explores biblical miracles that took place while Jesus was here on earth.

"Miracles strengthen your belief that God exists," Louis stated. "Miracles propel you to heights you never dreamed you would reach. Pope Francis is a visionary, and Mother Teresa is so deserving of her upcoming recognition as a saint."

'Miracles of Direction, Miracles of Conquest, Miracles of Provision and Miracles of Purpose' is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Xulon Press. Author Donna Louis Releases New Christian Book, 'Miracles of Direction, Miracles of Conquest, Miracles of Provision, and Miracles of Purpose'

Donna Louis has experienced three miraculous events. As the result of her experiences, she began an in-depth study of some of Christianity's most well-documented miracles

If we Google the phrase "miracles" we'll see thousands of articles about miracles and entire websites devoted to them. We'll see stories about miracles in respected publications such as The New York Times, Catholic Online, CNN and a host of others. We'll see the word "miracles" used in relation to healing, to sports victories and reference to miracles connected to everything from money to movies. But what is a miracle, really?

The dictionary tells us that a miracle is an event that contradicts known scientific law. Donna Louis, author of 'Miracles of Direction, Miracles of Conquest, Miracles of Provision, and Miracles of Purpose' delves into biblical miracles that took place while Jesus was here on earth and cross references with miracles that take place on a daily basis now - in the 21st century. She breaks these miracles down into four categories and presents example of each, taken directly from the Bible.

Donna Louis has personally experienced three miracles. As the result of her experiences, she began an in-depth study of some of Christianity's most well-documented miracles. In her book, she attempts to expand and explain both the purpose and the direction of those miracles.

"Miracles is a book for people who are looking for hope and purpose in their lives, and new believers who are ready and willing to accelerate their daily walk with Christ," Louis stated. "Miracles happen for those who believe and those who want to have hope that miracles do happen to prove that God exists."

'Miracles' has received rave reviews from readers. One review called it "amazing, uplifting and inspirational". Another stated, "I was profoundly impressed by the writing."

Author Y Abrahaim Releases 'Travesty', Book About Race Relations In America

Abrahaim creates inspirational literature that gives readers a new sense of awareness about the world around them

Author Y. Abrahaim has announced the release of 'Travesty', a book about race relations in America. Abrahaim creates inspirational literature that gives readers a new sense of awareness about the world around them. Truth, integrity and character play major roles throughout all her works. She produces penetrating visions through the minds, motives and lives of her characters; illustrating that people do not see the world as it is - they instead see the world as they are.

'Travesty' details a forbidden interracial relationship during the Montgomery bus boycott that leads to lies, treachery and murder. 40 years later, as a cold case file, secrets are revealed and  lies uncovered as unknown evidence from an unknown witness surfaces, revealing the truth behind a race relationship that ultimately rocked the lives of all involved.

This book depicts a “Travesty” through the eyes of a young Klansman who discovers the travesty surrounding his life, and through this discovery, he realizes the love, and meaning behind his life is just that … a travesty. This realization derives through the most unexpected individual; a young African-American woman. Through the realization of this “travesty” a life is taken, and through that other lives are destroyed. 40 years later he now has to confront the reason behind this life lost, and bring clarity to his role in the murder that rocked the lives of all involved.

"I wrote this book," Abrahaim stated, "to illustrate the lack of reason behind prejudice. I wrote this book to highlight how prejudice creates a travesty, and the power behind a travesty. Consider the definition of travesty which is a 'false representation, distortion or debased version' of something. The view of African Americans in this country then and even now is a travesty. My books shines a light on the travesty behind race relations in America. "

Abrahaim has also recently released 'Real Women Pray',  a combination of prayers and poems that uplift, motivate and inspire women of all ages. Other works currently in production include:

'Memoirs of Capitol Hill: Capitol Hill, The President And Me'. The first in a four volume series, the storyline details an exclusive interview with a retired Secret Service agent who reveals an unprecedented friendship, and thus, creates  an unlikely one. Through this interview the two discover the “what” that was lacking in their lives, while creating a memoir expounding on the life of the most controversial President to have ever been inaugurated into the White House.

'The Sacrifice', In which The Law of Free-Will creates a battle zone within the Universe between good and evil over what we know as Earth.

'The King And I: Emmanuel: A musical that talks about the life of a King through the eyes of those who knew Him as  Emmanuel, and were touched by Him as Jesus Christ.

Y. Abrahaim is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at yisrah.smith@gmail.com. 'Travesty' and 'Real Women Pray' are available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Payhip. More information is available at her website at http://www.InsprirationalLiterature.net.

About Y. Abrahaim:

Y. Abrahaim has been writing since the age of 9. She believes being able to create a life, an event, a theme, plot, in addition to creating the effect the event, theme, plot has on the character is the most exciting act one can exercise. She also believes that being an author is empowering, in that an author develops an individual and through that creation another life is touched, moved and empowered. Thus a mind is opened to an endless possibility of another world that exists in a life created on paper.

Dr. John DeFilippis Issues Christian Response To Planned Parenthood Videos

DeFilippis believes our society has reached an all-time low and that it is time for Christians to take the lead in reversing our society's moral decline. If we fail, he believes "our children will inherit a depraved, soulless society that is destined to implode."

Nearly everyone is familiar with the Planned Parenthood videos. In a recent opinion piece on the Fox News Opinion site, Judge Andrew P. Napolitano stated, "The cavalier demeanor of those who profit from this slaughter is chilling, and the moral punch in the nose to the Democratic Party is excruciating."

Dr. John DeFilippis, author of a number of Christian fiction fantasy novels, believes the horror these tapes reveal is much more than a "punch in the nose", a political talking point or a mere public relations disaster. It is instead a call to action for all Christians worldwide.

"It is absolutely crystal clear," DeFilippis stated, "that our society has reached an all-time low. The 'culture of death' that Pope Saint John Paul II decried has reached its peak, as the most innocent, helpless, defenseless human beings are harvested for body parts and exploited for profit. How can even the most ardent pro-choice advocates possibly justify the callous comments and behavior demonstrated in these videos?"

"Unfortunately, this is what happens when a society drifts further and further from God. We’ve lost our moral compass, and respect for human life, sexuality, and religious liberty has all but eroded. Now we have to ask ourselves, 'Can it ever be restored?'"

"As Christians, we must take the lead and do all we can to reverse the precipitous moral decline that has occurred over the past several decades. The characters in my books face the same long odds when their kingdom falls into the hands of men who despise anything remotely having to do with religion. Though on the surface they seem overmatched, the protagonists ultimately realize that all things are possible when good people come together and unite in faith. I hope that we can do the same. If we fail, then our children will inherit a depraved, soulless society that is destined to implode."

In the tradition of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, DeFilippis' books offer a message of faith and hope while remaining true to the epic fantasy fiction form. Crossroad Press recently released John DeFilippis’ fourth novel, 'The Last of the Thirteen'. 'The Last of the Thirteen' is the final volume of DeFilippis’ epic fantasy series, 'The Medallion of Mavinor'. John's works have been compared to 'The Lord Of The Rings' and 'Game Of Thrones'.

The characters in DeFilippis' novels wage an epic battle that could well determine the fate of the world. But as the conflict comes to a head, all of them realize one thing—they will need more than just courage and might to win the day. For the most lethal weapon they wield is neither sword nor shield, but rather the faith that resides deep in their hearts.

"Much like modern day Christians, the heroes of my story are ultimately faced with two choices,"  DeFilippis concluded. "They can take up their swords and fight for their freedom, or bow down and join the enemy. Those who decide to take up the fight soon learn that the greatest weapon they have in their arsenal is their faith. It is my hope that Christians everywhere will also take up the fight and that they too will realize that if God is with us, then who can possibly be against us?”

Dr. John DeFilippis is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below. All of DeFilippis' titles are available in print, ebook and pdf formats at Crossroad Press. More information is available at John DeFilippis’ website at http://www.DrJohnDeFilippis.com.

About Author John DeFilippis:

Dr. John DeFilippis grew up in the Greenville section of Jersey City, graduating from Our Lady of Mercy Grammar School in 1984. In 1988 he graduated from Saint Peter’s Prep and went on to study at Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. DeFilippis attended the School of Theology at Seton Hall University for three years, from 1993 to 1996. During this time he earned his master’s degree in theology and discerned a call to the Catholic priesthood. After ultimately deciding that he did not have a religious vocation, Dr. DeFilippis transitioned into the field of education.

He taught for four years at both the elementary and secondary levels, and earned a second master’s degree in educational administration. In 2000 Dr. DeFilippis made yet another transition, this time accepting an offer to become an academic administrator at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City. He would spend the next seven years there, and in 2007 he completed his Ph.D. in educational leadership at Seton Hall University. After finishing his doctoral degree, he accepted an offer to become a director in the Division of Academic Affairs at New Jersey City University.
