Dismantling The FBI: Bestselling Ebook, From Democracy To Democrazy By Elizabeth Graham, Available At No Charge June 3, 2025

Kirkus Professional Book Reviewers said: "Graham's new book is an intriguing and informative ‘must read’ from a woman who is probably the best-informed American on the terrifying realities concerning Vladimir Putin's motivations and his control over Trump. It is a warning to all Americans."

The bestselling ebook, 'From Democracy to Democrazy', by Elizabeth Graham will be available at no charge on June 3, 2025, at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Elizabeth-Graham/author/B0CMY189NT?.

Elizabeth Graham had a Top-Secret Security Clearance while a senior in high school, and immediately upon graduation began working undercover with the CIA. She later joined the SAIC's Foreign Systems Research Center (FSRC) for 12 years. Eight of these years were spent studying Russia and Russian, and she managed the largest Russian-language military, technical and intelligence data base/library in the U.S. She began to travel to the Soviet Union and then became one of the very few Americans to move to the USSR. She lived under Communism in the Soviet Union, then Russia, and Central Asia long enough to become bi-cultural - she became Russian. Her first-hand knowledge and understanding of life in a communist or dictatorship country is shared with Americans in her book and in her Substack by the same name (egraham.substack.com).

MSB has reported that Donald Trump is dismantling the FBI. In a recent article, she wrote in part: “MSNBC reported that the FBI has folded the public corruption unit that investigated Donald Trump. This same division worked with Jack Smith on his “Russian interference report.” As a result, Peter Strzok, the former FBI Chief of counterespionage was fired.”

On a Substack message sent by Willy Perez-Feria on 5/16/2025, “Politically motivated, the dismantling of the FBI will undermine the bureau’s integrity and influence. Attorney General (AG) Pam Bondi, who cited a desire to free resources for ‘more pressing priorities’ – a lame excuse – disbanded the FITF (Foreign Influence Task Force) in early 2025.

As a comparison, when Putin took office as the President of Russia in 2000 - among his first tasks was to dismantle their KGB and give a newly formed government branch called the FSB many of the same tasks previously performed by their KGB. Please note, that before Putin became President, he created the FSB (Federal Security Service) and led this organization until his presidency in 2000. It was created in 1994 and is one of the successor agencies of the Soviet-era KGB. Its primary function is internal security and counterintelligence, but it also oversees all Banks.

The FBI is (or was) the lead agency in the U.S. for investigating and exposing intelligence activities, including espionage. They also investigate counterterrorism, counterintelligence, cyber-attacks, public corruption, civil rights, and transnational organized crime. (www.fbi.gov) LAWFARE, printed an article on January 13, 2019, written by Jack Goldsmith titled: “On What Grounds Can the FBI Investigate the President as a Counterintelligence Threat?” This article begins by saying “The New York Times reported on January 11, 2017, that the FBI ‘began investigating whether President Trump had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests’ soon after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey in May 2017. In other words, the FBI opened a counterintelligence investigation on the president.” The Times paraphrases former FBI General Counsel James Baker’s testimony as follows: “If the president had fired Mr. Comey to stop the Russia investigation, the action would have been a national security issue because it naturally would have hurt the bureau’s effort to learn how Moscow interfered in the 2016 election and whether any Americans were involved.” (Ibid)

As David Kris noted, (Former Assistant Attorney General for National Security of the United States) “we have long understood that this counterintelligence investigation would sweep up Trump’s relationship with Russia and might include the question whether Trump might be compromised by the Russians. But the Times suggests that the FBI—at least after Comey was fired—took this investigation in a different direction, based on the premise that the president was a threat to the national security interests of the United States.” (Ibid)

This is the same timeframe when Mr. Trump told the American public that “I have nothing to do with Russia. You know the closest I came to Russia, I bought a house several years ago in Palm Beach, Florida for $40 Million and sold it to a Russian for $100 Million. (USA Today, Jan. 11, 2017, written by Jessica Durando) He also said “Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I have nothing to do with Russia – no deals, no loans, no nothing!” (Ibid) All flat out lies.

Trump’s demeanor in the Oval Office when he welcomed Sergey Lazarov and the Russian Ambassador Kislyak was very different than other dignitaries. He behaved like greeting old chums.

In 2025, we know this (the Trump-Russia association) is not a fabrication or a deliberate lie. In fact, there is proof that Trump has been associated with Russians in the U.S. since the mid to late 1970’s. Craig Unger’s newest Substack opens with, “There are no Trump tariffs’ on Moscow’s biggest export – the mobsters and oligarchs who helped put him in power.”

Unger goes on to say, “On May 5th, Jason Leopold reported that the Trump administration was shutting down the ‘Department of Justice unit that has long been at the center of dismantling transnational organized crime networks, drug cartels, and human trafficking rings. No reason was provided for removing the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces. . . but getting rid of it must have delighted President Trump. This eradicated a potential threat to the Russian mafia, money launderers, and international criminal cartels, who supported Trump and have funded Republicans politicians for years.” (Unger Substack, Ibid)

In 1996, Trump attended the grand opening of the Chuck Norris Enterprise operation in Moscow. My daughter was also there. Called the Beverly Hills, this nightclub and casino were known in Russia for its naked girls, under-age prostitution, famous faces, and massive corruption. Trump was also a close associate of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxell, both convicted sex offenders and found guilty of child sex trafficking and other offenses. (Wikipedia)

In 2008, “Donald Trump Jr. told investors in Moscow that the Trump Organization had trademarked the Donald Trump name in Russia and planned to build housing and hotels in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Sochi, and to sell licenses to other developers” according to Russian daily Kommersant (USA Today, 02/15/2017). This is another lie. In both Vanity Fair ((May 8, 2017) and Business Insider (Feb. 21, 2018) magazines, Trump’s elder sons commented that the Trump Organization had received $100 million from Russian banks and that Trump no longer needs to borrow from U.S. banks - they now get their money from Russia. U.S. banks refused to loan money to Trump who had six bankruptcies. Russian banks are managed and controlled by the FSB (since 1994) and Vladimir Putin and money from these banks to foreigners are for espionage purposes, to launder black cash, or for bribery.

About Elizabeth Graham:

Elizabeth Graham lives in a quiet rural city in northern Arizona. She had 4 children and has 3 grandchildren. Her oldest daughter died July 16, 2016 - three months before the U.S. 2016 election and while living/working in Japan. The Tokyo Police ruled her death a homicide by an unknown substance – possibly a poison - which is the signature lethal method used by Russians. There is more about her death in From Democracy to Democrazy.

Elizabeth was indoctrinated at a young age by her father who was a senior manager working undercover with the CIA. Her college days were in Los Angeles with the desire to become a high school teacher. However, she was destined to study Russia, Russian language, and live a life of Top-Secret clearances and undercover work. This led to senior nonprofit management positions and consulting jobs in strategic places like Moscow and St. Petersburg in Russia, all the former Soviet - Central Asian countries, and Ukraine, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and many other locations. In this process of living and working abroad, she became bi-cultural - American to Russian and back – only to find that her birth country was in the process of losing its democracy and becoming a dictatorship.

Our Children Must Be Our Focus Says Jody Sharpe, Bestselling Author Of 'Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder'

As a former teacher of special needs children, Sharpe has direct experience regarding the effect bullying has on children. Her award-winning, bestselling books help readers find hope, inspiration and gratitude.

When we look at our headlines today, we must ask what might be one of the most important questions members of our generation could ever ask: "Is this the world we want to offer our children?"

The world has never been perfect, and here we are not talking about war, disease, famine and all the other problems we have experienced for centuries. Instead we need to look at how bullying has become a part of our culture. From the lowest form of playground antics to the bullying found at the highest levels of government, bullying has become acceptable. And that should never be.

In a recent article titled "Angels Inspiration: Our Children Our Focus," Sharpe wrote in part:

In these times when misguided adults are causing chaos in our world, the angels have inspired me to write this post. Our children in the world need to be our focus at this time. What are they hearing in their homes, what kind of words are they listening to? Is it intolerance or is it about teaching kindness?

Children should be witnessing love and togetherness. Instead our media is covering bullying, man’s inhumanity to man. We need to see the truth how chaos and bullying destroy. We need to be covering the important way to live like helping those in need.

I wrote two books about children. One was the book about my work as a teacher with children who had special needs. Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder.

These children impacted my life with their no agenda ways and with only love in their hearts. The other book was my children’s book, When The Angel Sent Butterflies, inspired by my grandchildren. An angel comes to help the character Kate with her fear of bees.

We adults need to think about the impact of words and the actions we are taking. Actions our children are seeing daily on TV or words they are hearing at home. The children are listening and watching.

The full text of the article is available at http://jodysharpe.com/tuesdays-with-the-angels-angels-inspiration-our-children-our-focus/.

Sharpe also announced that the ebook version of book 6 in the Mystic Bay Series, ‘20 Moon Rd., An Angel’s Tale’ recently achieved bestseller status. The book took First Place nationally in the novella category in the 2023 in the NFPW Professional Communication Contest.

In ‘20 Moon Rd., the bully never wins. Miracles still happen in the town of Mystic Bay California. Angels live as humans there. Angel Ken, a former football coach, is surprised when his late best friend, the indomitable psychic, Madam Norma, appears in spirit form and asks him to write the story of her life through her memories she will send him. Surprising to Angel Ken, Madam Norma saw thousands of angels since childhood.

Sharpe recently received an honorable mention in the 2024 National Federation of Press Women's Professional Communication contest at the national level for one of her novels, ‘Summer of Angels’. This is the fourth NFPW win for her. In 2023, Town Of Angels Christmas also placed At Large, as did ‘Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder’.

She was also featured in the September issue of 'Great Writers You Should Be Reading Magazine.'

Books by Jody Sharpe include:

To Catch an Angel - Jody is also the author of 'To Catch an Angel', written in memory of her late husband Steve. In 'To Catch an Angel', miracles happen in Mystic Bay, California, the town with the psychic and angel vibe. Angels are calling. Psychic Maggie Malone returns home to find she's swept up in the miracle of it all. She can't imagine why her mother left or who her father might be. But these questions pale in comparison to the wonder of the angels. Maggie meets writer, Noah Greenstreet. They realize they've met before, but where? Maggie and Noah embark on a journey to find our world is all awash with angels.

The Angel's Daughter - A secret lies in Mystic Bay, California, and only two people know it. First, there’s Hannah, a tender curly-headed half-angel. Then there’s her father, Gabe, an effervescent, teddy bear of a full-blooded angel. And it’s up to Hannah to keep the secret safe, but she’s made a colossal mistake telling her ex-boyfriend and writing professor, Sam Blakely. Now he's written a book exposing the secret to the world.

Town Of Angels - it's angel vs. Bully in the town of Mystic Bay, California, where a well-kept secret lies. Angels live as humans there. After angels appeared to three children, all was blissful in the town full of psychics, and ordinary folk. But as brute, Klaus Waxman, comes to town, angel Ken Leighton, a storeowner, must carefully guide his flock of humans not to give in to the bully's efforts. As Klaus opens a store mocking the resident angel sightings, angel Ken guides psychic Justine Greer, and her family to thwart his efforts. And with the help of the indomitable oldest psychic in town, Madam Norma, the bully meets his match through the soft voices and intuitive minds of his neighbors.

Town Of Angels Christmas - The bully never wins. A secret lies in Mystic Bay California. Angels live as humans there. Angel Ken, a storeowner, fears the secret will be revealed when vet, Jordana Hart, a woman with special healing abilities moves to town.

Years before Angel Ken materialized as an old man, changing the course of her life. Will Jordana recognize Angel Ken as the man from her past as they work together on a rescue mission to bring twenty-two horses to Mystic Bay before Christmas, will they see what lies before them, a Christmas story only the angels could write.

Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder is a memoir based on her twenty-five years teaching children with special needs. The book placed second in the National Federation Of Press Women's At-Large Communication contest. The book is as entertaining as it is illuminating. It's a love story about the special students and others who over the years graced her life with just that, their grace.

With hearts of angels and challenges to face, the children took Sharpe along their journeys and inspired her own life's journey of self-discovery. When sorrow came, their kindness helped her through. The synchronicity of events from high school to retirement changed her life for the better, turning her face toward heaven.

Midwest Book Review stated, "Sharpe's ability to see the good in circumstances and people identifies the 'special' in 'special needs' as she delineates her journey through the education system and those teaching and social encounters which changed her perspective and life."

"Teachers (especially those working with special needs kids) will find this spiritual and social reflection easily accessible. It's presented in vignettes which offer small, digestible bites of insight into a world where angels and kindness are present in more than one form."

Special Needs Children followed her recently released children's book about angels, When The Angel Sent Butterflies. The new book helps children understand that love from their parents and others surrounds them. Love conquers fear, and believing that angels are near can help sweep any childhood fear away. This concept is presented in the book when Angel Ken sends Jones and Kate butterflies. The book, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, is now available at Amazon and Ingram.

One of her latest books, Summer Of Angels, is a mystery novel. Meteorologist and psychic, Gayle Force proves a force to be reckoned with as she moves back to her beloved Mystic Bay, California. While sleeping, an angel sent her a vision in a dream of a future event. Gayle realizes she must use her intuition to save an old man from drowning. But who is this old man?

With the help of intuitive attorney, Alex Knight, she finds they are caught in the middle of a future crime. But can Gayle and Alex solve the case and save the old man before it’s too late? With surprising twists and turns of intrigue and love, Gayle and Alex find there are angels at the helm as they help prove the bully never wins.

The Dog Who Came For Christmas: Meteorologist and psychic, Gayle Force Knight, proves to be a force to be reckoned with once more. While Gayle was sleeping, an angel sent her a vision of a future event. With her intuition, Gayle wonders, will she really meet the dog in her dream and save another one?

With the help of her intuitive husband, Alex Knight, and friends, Gayle sets on a course to rescue many more. But with surprising twists and turns of intrigue, both Gayle and Alex find there are always angels at the helm as they ride on their coattails.

In addition, on the "Tuesdays With The Angels" section of her site, Sharpe presents stories of real-life encounters with angels. The stories are available at Sharpe's website at http://www.jodysharpe.com.

Sharpe hopes to create a collection of angel stories that involve sightings of angels, interaction with angels, miraculous angel encounters, and other types of accounts or stories. Everyone is welcome to submit angel stories. All submissions will be considered, but inclusion is not guaranteed. Stories may be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd.

Sharpe's YouTube channel brings all of this together, offering segments on all of these topics. One topic of special interest is bullying, specifically as it relates to special needs children.

In addition to the National Federation of Press Women’s award, Jody was chosen as a winner in the annual "50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading" Book Awards. She was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors through a public voting process.

Jody also announced recently that two new screen treatments of her books are now available: The Angel's Daughter and Town Of Angels Christmas.

Penny Orloff's One Woman Show, Songs And Stories From A Not-Quite-Kosher Life, Is Back On The Road

Penny Orloff's book, Jewish Thighs On Broadway, based on her own misadventures in Show Business, inspired this sidesplitting one-woman show performed all over the United States.

Bestselling author Penny Orloff recently announced that her one woman show, Songs And Stories From A Not Quite Kosher Life, is back on the road.

Orloff’s first one-woman show, inspired by her the novel, 'Jewish Thighs On Broadway,' played to standing ovations and critical acclaim, including sold-out houses and rave reviews for its premiere in the Seattle Fringe Theater Festival in March, 2000. The show toured the U.S. for a decade, including a successful off-Broadway run in 2005. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive:

"Penny Orloff… assured and excellent in every way." New York Times

"This funny, multi-faceted story of one woman’s journey through Showbiz entrances from its first word to the last." Seattle Fringe Review

"Ravishingly descriptive and continuously entertaining...incredible warmth, wit, charm... Brilliant!" Bellevue Post Intelligencer

"…a sweet and charming presence, narrating the story while acting an assortment of characters... her self-effacing humor is enjoyable and authentic. She sings in a soft, legit soprano …Penny Orloff is so darn likeable!" Broadway World

Her new solo show is bursting with heirloom melodies, stories of her Jewish immigrant family, and tales from her zany life in show business.

“As a Jewish woman, I’m Not Quite Kosher without marriage and children,” she says. “Still, I am the Keeper of the Lore. I am the only one left to remember the stories, to sing the songs.”

The show is available for small venues, house concerts, fundraisers, senior centers, and community events. A preview of the show is available at YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RanMdQxAwPY. Booking information is available at her website at https://PennyOrloff.com.

The ebook version of the underlying novel, 'Jewish Thighs on Broadway,' has achieved bestseller status in a number of categories: Comedy, Biographies of Comedians, Humorous Literary Fiction, and Theatre Biographies.

Orloff's novel is populated by an oddball immigrant family, on-again-off-again lovers, diets from Hell, and a Rogue's Gallery from the Showbiz underworld; and every scene has readers laughing out loud.

Abigail Paine, born Miriam Rosen, has been in love with Showbiz and the performing arts since childhood, perpetually fantasizing herself as the Little Trouper Who Finds Stardom and True Love by the end of the movie. After a hundred shows and a hundred one-night stands, love and fame still elude her, and she'd rather eat cyanide than face another audition. Complicating her search for the Busby Berkeley ending is her primitive alter-ego: The Beast. This creature can track, kill, dismember, and devour an entire cheesecake; and kick the stuffing out of smaller muggers on the sidewalks of New York. When Abigail finds love at long last, she is faced with an agonizing choice: Showbiz or The Guy. As she laments, “Breaking into this Business is like breaking into Fort Knox; breaking out, we're talking Alcatraz.”

Metropolitan Opera Leading Tenor Jacques Trussel called 'Jewish Thighs on Broadway', "Ravishingly descriptive and continuously entertaining... the best book I have ever read on this subject... incredible warmth, wit, charm... Brilliant!"

Theater Puget Sound’s review said, " . . . passionate. . . Wonderfully evocative language, lots of humor, tears where they belong...thoroughly enjoyable."

One Amazon reviewer wrote, "Fun book! I highly recommend it. Characters are bigger than life, and delightfully screwball. Everyone's Jewish family nightmare! Lots of laughs." Another stated, “No doubt the most fun I’ve had reading for many years. Read it and laugh!"

Penny Orloff is available for media interviews and can be reached at Penny@pennyorloff.com. 'Jewish Thighs On Broadway' is available at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Jewish-Thighs-Broadway-Misadventures-Trouper-ebook/dp/B0DTC15NGZ/ref=sr_1_1?. More information, including booking information for the show, is available at her website at https://pennyorloff.com.

About Penny Orloff:

Penny Orloff was a working actor/dancer in Los Angeles when a Juilliard scholarship took her to New York. She had featured roles on Broadway, working for such directors as Harold Prince and Joseph Papp, and sang more than 20 Principal Soprano roles for New York City Opera under Julius Rudel and Beverly Sills. In a 50-plus year career in the performing arts, Penny Orloff played major roles in classic musicals such as Fiddler On The Roof, Guys And Dolls, Camelot, and My Fair Lady. She starred as Aldonza in five different productions of Man of La Mancha, including an extensive tour throughout the United States. In 1981 she was featured in the first American production of Kurt Weill’s Silverlake, directed by the late, great Harold Prince at New York City Opera. With the success of that production, Harold Prince invited her as an original cast principal in his 1982 A Doll's Life, by legendary writing team Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Having outlived most of her early competition for film roles, since 2012 she has enjoyed acting in a range of interesting shorts, Indie, and feature films.

'Tokyo-ing!' is a trio of tales that will resonate with anyone even slightly interested in Asia’s most dynamic metropolis and its glazing of layers – be they cultural or taking-wing exuberant.

About Face — An American professor is trophy hunted by a wily student who then boasts of her conquest, sparking a full-blown scandal. Brought to heel in tradition, he fights for his dignity and what a down and dirty fight it is!

Sobering Love — Told in first person female persona, a Japanese career woman is obligated to join after-work drinking sessions with her colleagues at behemoth ad agency Dentsu, leading to alcohol addiction and deteriorating health. There seems to be no way out, until she meets Frank, a high-octane executive ...

Fire Horse — A disillusioned expat musters the courage to break out of an unhappy marriage, then searches for love on Tokyo’s electrifying singles circuit. Can he beat the odds and find a soulmate born under the right star? Notable is that in the Chinese bestiary Fire Horse years are one in 60 and birthrates plummet in such years.

Tokyo-ing! Three Novellas is available at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Eric-Madeen/author/B08VGRNJVW?, or from his website at https://EricMadeen.com. The ebook version will be available at no charge May 15 and 16, 2025 at Amazon.

Readers and reviewers have expressed high praise for 'Tokyo-ing!' One Amazon review stated, "Eric Madeen's storytelling prowess shines brightly, and I wholeheartedly recommend Tokyo-ing! to anyone who loves exploring diverse cultures and compelling characters through the lens of expertly crafted stories." Another said, "Madeen's insight into Tokyo's dynamic landscape is unparalleled. An enthralling read for anyone fascinated by the complexities of Asia's bustling metropolis."

Eric Madeen writes cross-genre, and is the author of a number of other books:

'Water Drumming in the Soul' is a fiery tale set in steamy equatorial Africa, where Peace Corps volunteer David Fields is on mission: to build a medical dispensary in a village where spells are cast on enemies and fear of a geek-shaman reigns. David seldom has his bearings – cultural or geographical – and must fight a cocktail of tropical maladies as well as social taboos as he throws himself into work. Until... he meets Assam. Captivated by her water drumming, her playing the stream as a drum, David is drawn to her early on and becomes the hunter captured by the game. And what a rollicking game of love it is - with a tension or excitement between them that never dissipates, … until the haunting end.

One Amazon reviewer said, "Water Drumming in the Soul not only tells a passionate love story, but it also delves into thought-provoking themes like culture, identity, and the power of human connection. It's a rollercoaster of emotions that'll have you laughing, crying, and everything in between. This isn't your typical love story! This novel is so well-written and full of unexpected twists that it keeps you flipping those pages. Plus, the characters are so well-developed that you'll feel like you've known them forever. So, if you're ready for a wild and adventurous ride, grab a copy of this modern-day classic ASAP!"

'Asian Trail Mix: True Tales from Borneo to Japan' is a smorgasbord of travel essays which scale down the sprawl of Asia by focusing on the unique and revelatory in sharp, crisp prose. Readers will get to see up close and personal the razzmatazz of novice monks at play in northern Laos, the bonding with hustling pedicab drivers in Ho Chi Minh City, and rainforests blazed on gutsy treks across Borneo and Thailand's Elephant Island. Served up nice and spicy, Asian Trail Mix is slathered across 12 rocking-it essays plus a tall tale at its glorious ending, making for a baker's dozen of sumptuousness.

In a review for 'Asian Trail Mix,' one reader said, "The writing is lush and emotive. It contains images and turns of phrase that will stay with you." Another said, "'Mr. Madeen has a knack for taking one into the depths of Asian countries and introducing the reader to fascinating customs and interesting characters. Five stars!"

‘Tennis Clubbed, Snubbed and Rubbity-Dub Dubbed’ - In historically rich Yokohama, where Captain Perry and his Black Ships cracked open Japan, the wicked shiver of the tennis snub in the postmodern present pits David Adams against K: a puffed-up xenophobic tyrant who rules over the courts of a club that has as its anthem, ironically, the promotion of international friendship. Making it even more pithy is that a good half of it is set at a Japanese university where David as lecturer dives deep into a part of Japan so rarely and scintillatingly transcribed.

Eric Madeen is available for media interviews and can be reached at ericsan@gol.com. All of his books are available at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Eric-Madeen/author/B08VGRNJVW?. More information is available at his website at https://ericmadeen.com/.

Kixx Goldman Announces Giveaway Of Bestselling Ebook, 'Speak From Your Heart And Be Heard', New Article On Thinking Out Of The Box

The ebook version of her bestselling book, 'Speak from Your Heart and Be Heard', will be available at no charge at Amazon May 8 through May 9, 2025.

Dr. Kixx Goldman has announced that her bestselling ebook, 'Speak From Your Heart And Be Heard: Stories Of Courage And Healing' will be available at no charge May 8 through May 9, 2025 at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Dr.-Kixx-Goldman/author/B07XCZ9SXS?. She also announced an article about the importance of learning to think out of the box.

"Thinking out of the box" is a phrase we hear quite often. It is a metaphor for a way to challenge old ideas, and see things from a different perspective, problem solve and develop creative and innovative solutions. Thinking out of the box is more important than ever today, when navigating situations that are subject to rapid change and unpredictability. Above all, it allows us to connect with the intuitive voice that lies within us all. This voice might ask us to color outside the lines, and see possibility where others see boundaries.

Kixx addressed this subject in an article titled,"Thinking Out of the Box", posted on her website at https://drkixxgoldman.com. In that article she wrote in part:

“The World Is a Safer Place.” Those are the words of Catherine Oxenberg, a woman whom I admire greatly, spoken after the sentencing of Nxivm Cult leader, Keith Raniere. (Christine Pelisek Published on October 27, 2020 08:51PM EDT)

Catherine Oxenberg is the former Dynasty star, who fought to free her daughter from the Nexium cult. She is known for her tenacity. In 2020, she was confronted with a period of severe physical pain. Finally, with the help of a doctor, she was able to make the connection between all of her past traumatic experiences and the sudden onset of pain and depression, and following that, made a wise treatment choice. (By David Walters Published on June 20, 2023 03:38PM EDT)

What came to mind when I first learned about Catherine Oxenberg and her courage and triumph over travails, was the notion of “thinking out of the box.”

I believe the ability to think out of the box gives us a certain degree of flexibility and can lead to problem solving and innovative, creative solutions.

Two women are striking models. They thought out of the box. The first is the courageous bush nurse Sister Elizabeth Kenny, whose life spanned the 19th and 20th centuries.

The other is therapist Rachel Stern, the main character in my story, “Monitored.”

Sister Kenny developed a new and controversial approach for treating victims of Polio, previously known as Infantile Paralysis. She lived in Australia during the time of the Polio epidemics and later moved to Minnesota and opened a clinic where her revolutionary methods were applied. Kenny’s story inspired me to share my story of therapist Rachel. One could say the two women were of a like-minded persuasion. (Some would say Sister Kenny’s story has some parallels with the recent pandemic.)

As a young woman, I heard nurse Kenny’s name many times and became curious. A couple of years ago, I noticed a 1946 movie on TCM: Sister Kenny. I was riveted as I watched and thus began my fascination. (“Sister” is a title of courtesy which applies to a more highly qualified nurse.)

I wrote about Rachel Stern and her client, Erik, in my story “Monitored.” It is based upon real events in my life, which have been fictionalized. Rachel’s therapeutic model is similar to mine. We’ve both helped clients heal using experiential and emotionally focused therapies.

Elizabeth Kenny and Rachel Stern were of a like-minded persuasion. Some would say Sister Kenny’s story has some parallels with the recent pandemic.

Both women bucked the tide of their times, stood up to the establishment and thought out of the box. Their outlooks and therapeutic approaches were innovative and vital to their worlds.

The full text of the piece is available at https://drkixxgoldman.com/inspirational-stories/thinking-out-of-the-box/.

In her bestselling ebook, Dr. Kixx takes readers on a journey that is an illuminating exploration into intuition, resilience, and emotional honesty. Through a collection of eight realistic but fictional stories, she begins to show us key strategies for navigating life's challenges with courage and authenticity. Every one of the stories serves as a compelling testament to the transformative power of honoring one's own inner voice. The key word here is "own". Every form of trauma is unique to the individual, and thus requires an individual approach. The author has a talent that allows her to help guide readers to discover their own paths, without resorting to preaching or promising.

From the struggles of devoted fathers and resilient teachers to the courageous defiance of therapists and survivors, the characters in "Speak from Your Heart" exemplify the resilience of the human spirit and will. Through these stories, readers are reminded of the inherent strength that lies within each of us, inspiring us to heal and reclaim our power. "Speak from Your Heart" is not just a book—it's a beacon of hope and healing, offering readers real insight for navigating life with grace and resilience.

The eight engaging fictional stories in this collection are personal, drawn from experiences in Dr. Kixx's life and the lives of her clients. The characters are tested by everyday traumas...

• A devoted father and his daughter find hope in rewriting their past.
• With remarkable grit, a teacher escapes a surprise attack.
• To heal his childhood wounds, a man must conquer his fears.
• A therapist defies the establishment to protect her clients.
• As she confronts the church, a therapist regains her standing.
• A woman learns the risks of not speaking out.
• By sharing her story and bonding with peers, a woman overcomes her trauma.

As the characters in these stories find the courage to triumph over their challenges, they heal and grow.

Inspired by real life people, characters show readers how to find the courage to transform difficult and traumatic life experiences, speak their truth and reclaim their power.

'Speak From Your Heart and Be Heard: Stories Of Courage And Healing' has received rave reviews from readers and reviewers. Leslie S. Greenberg, PhD, distinguished Research Professor Emeritus, Dept. of Psychology, York University said, " In each story, the characters' resilience is illustrated by how they transform difficult life stories into constructive final narratives. They find the courage to triumph over challenges to heal and they grow. The message of the book: speaking one's truth makes for desired change and healing."

In her review, Liz Moulden said, "The short stories from Speak from Your Heart and Be Heard have given me a second chance and a voice, the voice I never had. What's exciting about this book is each main character in these short stories experienced some kind of abuse/ trauma but each finds their inner voice. With help, they're able to heal. Anyone who has ever experienced abuse or trauma as I have will be able to see snapshots of themselves in these stories."

In addition, Dr. Goldman offers a treasure trove of related information on her blog. Her articles span topics from diversity to human relations, psychology, single parenting, immigration and children, marriage and family and much more. The blog can be found at her website.

Top Motivational Speaker Rocky Romanella Discusses The Importance Of Legacy In Building Out Our Leadership Roles

Renowned as a keynote speaker, trainer, and Forbes Contributor, Romanella founded 3SIXTY Management Services, LLC. With 40+ years in leadership, he served as CEO and Director at UniTek Global Services after a 36-year UPS career.

Leadership is a multi-faceted concept. It is not an exclusive trait, reserved for certain individuals in business, government, or civic organizations. Top motivational speaker and author of the bestselling business book, 'Tighten The Lug Nuts' recently posted an article in his newsletter that addressed this topic. In that article, titled 'Always Be Humble And Kind', he wrote in part:

Leadership is something we all have concerns about. Leadership is a concept that is not reserved for or only applies to certain people in business, government, and civic organizations. The reality is that no matter our age, gender, occupation, educational level, each of us touches and influences other lives.

Through this extension, we are all leaders to someone at some time. It can be a person under our supervision or care, a spouse we honor and live with, or a child we nurture, a student we teach, or a player we coach. It could be as simple as a fellow member of our church or religious affiliation, club, league, or association, but it is usually identified by the fact we have made a positive difference through our actions and examples.

With this sense of responsibility and being lifelong learners, we are constantly in pursuit of knowledge, whether written or experienced, of how to be a good leader and how to improve our skills. We take great pride in the books we have read and where they sit on the best-seller list. I often find that some of the best examples and learning experiences come from the stories we tell and the experiences we share. Sometimes they come from the stories we learned as children or read to our children as parents or grandparents, or a song we love to sing.

Leaders must develop emotional intelligence along with their educational intelligence and business acumen. Sometimes a simple story I find can help people see the bigger picture, promote moral and ethical behavior, and maybe, just maybe, not take ourselves so seriously that we lose sight of the fact that it is not always about us and be open to learning in creative and unusual ways.

For me, I just had one of those moments. We all have listened to songs over the years that you love and know the words to. Even though you know the words and story of how and why it was written, ever now and then the song catches you in a vulnerable moment. The song you know and love becomes an AHA moment, a self-reflective moment that challenges your emotional intelligence.

For me, this just happened with a song I love listening to and enjoy the words. It is by Samuel Timothy McGraw “Tim McGraw” (born May 1, 1967), who is an American country singer and actor. He has released 16 studio albums. 10 of those albums have reached number one on the Top Country Albums charts, with his 1994 breakthrough album Not a Moment Too Soon being the top country album of 1994. In total, McGraw's albums have produced 65 singles, 25 of which have reached number one on the Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts.

My favorite song of his, and the one I would like to reference is “Humble and Kind.” Although I have sung the song more times than I can count and love his work, this time in a quiet moment I thought what a great inventory of a person’s leadership style, approach, values, and ethics. We all need that introspective, soul-searching, reflective view of ourselves.

The words are powerful but simple and basic. Here are some of the lyrics that moved me and created my AHA moment.

Hold the door, say please, say thank you
Don't steal, don't cheat, and don't lie
I know you got mountains to climb but
Always stay humble and kind
When the dreams you're dreamin' come to you
When the work you put in is realized
Let yourself feel the pride but
Always stay humble and kind

Don't expect a free ride from no one
Don't hold a grudge or a chip and here's why
Bitterness keeps you from flyin'
Always stay humble and kind

The central message for me at that AHA moment was Legacy.

What is your Legacy as a Leader?

As a leader, we grow and develop, take on new challenges or simply move into a new phase of our life, we will be faced with complications and adversity that may set us back. Honesty, perseverance, and trustworthiness will become major factors in overcoming these obstacles and creating our personal brand and our legacy. Along the way, you come to a decision point or stage gate. Our choice is simple but profound in each instance, but a decision must be made.

Our choices are LEAD, FOLLOW, or GET OUT OF THE WAY. If you choose to lead, you will need to be an honest and trusted leader to establish your vision, mission, and values so that those in your care or supervision will trust you enough to follow. As a lifelong learner, you are constantly forging a path to transform yourself into a high-character, high-performance leader. You will never be without challenges both in life and business. But if you are focused and ready to face these complex business challenges and personal changes with discipline, determination, honesty of purpose, and in an ethical manner, you will be successful.

Ebook Giveaway For Inspirational Historical Fiction Novel, Voyage Of Life, By Best Selling Author Richard McMaster

Voyage Of Life is a magnificent work that explores the full range of human emotion and demonstrates how love can withstand even the most profound events without fading away with time.

Bestselling author Richard McMaster has announced that the ebook version of his historical fiction novel, Voyage Of Life, will be available at no charge May 6 Through May, 7, 2025 at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Richard-McMaster/author/B01LDIJ2QU?. McMaster considers Voyage Of Life to be one of his signature works. Readers and reviewers agree.

“While reading, you will smile, you will hesitate thinking, oh no, and you will cry, but there is a surprise toward the end. This is one of the best romantic books I have read.” In a story printed by The Hudson Weekly, Dennis Keller said, "There have been multiple authors that have made a significant contribution to the world of literacy. In the current era, we have come across several first-time authors with the gift of writing. Richard McMaster is an accomplished author whose works have been praised for their depth, complexity, and emotional resonance."

Voyage of Life is a captivating coming of age in the sixties story about a secret that takes a lifetime to uncover. It is a story about a man’s life, beginning with the period after WWII, continuing through the coming-of-age sixties, the triumphs and tragedies of manhood, and finding peace and resolution in old age. The breathtaking story has unfolding mysteries around losing a father, mother, wife, son, and friends and Sean’s perseverance in life and, in the end, reuniting with his first love.

The story is told as Thomas Cole’s Voyage of Life paintings are portrayed by the women he loves; childhood, youth, manhood, and old age. The paintings are a metaphor for Sean’s life—the verdant landscape and calm waters of childhood turn turbulent in youth, and then early in manhood, the rocky shores of manhood open to a promising sky of old age when he believes that his one true love left him for another man.

In the Hudson Weekly piece, Keller continued with "Richard McMaster never falls into the trap of presenting his characters as simplistic archetypes or caricatures, instead allowing them to emerge as fully-formed individuals with their unique voices and perspectives.

"In addition to his skillful characterization, he is also a master of plot and pacing. The structure of his novels keep readers engaged and invested in the story while also allowing for moments of quiet reflection and contemplation. The author’s writing is often described as “page-turning” or “gripping,” but it is also imbued with a sense of thoughtfulness and depth that elevates his work beyond mere genre fiction.

"Another notable aspect of his writing is his attention to historical detail. In Aaron’s War, he meticulously recreates the time of World War II, capturing the sights, sounds, and smells of a world torn apart by war and genocide. In A Love Divided By Time, he offers readers a distinctive viewpoint on love and life. Overall, Richard McMaster is an author whose works are marked by a deep sense of humanity and empathy. Whether he is exploring the horrors of war or the complexities of human relationships, his writing is always grounded in a profound understanding of the human experience. His novels, Aaron’s War and A Love Divided by Time, are powerful testaments to the enduring power of storytelling and are sure to captivate readers with their vivid characters, intricate plots, and emotional depth."

Voyage Of Life will be available at no charge in ebook form May 6 through May 7, at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Richard-McMaster/author/B01LDIJ2QU?.

McMaster's other bestselling historical fiction novel, Aaron's War, details the struggles of a Jewish soldier's experience in WWII. Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein, One Of The USA's Most Influential Positive Psychologists, Announces No Charge Download Of Conflict And A Bit Of Magic Ebook, 2nd Edition

In the tradition of authors like Judy Blume, Dr. Holstein pushes the envelope in covering the challenges girls really face, without sugar coating it or downplaying the feelings or passions young girls experience, regarding things that are important to them at this stage of their development.

Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein is a visionary Positive Psychologist and an award winning film maker. As one of America's most influential Postive Psychologists, she has spent most of her career helping girls and women of all ages build resilience, enhance their self-esteem and recognize their own talents and strengths. She recently announced that her latest ebook, the 2nd edition of her best-selling book, 'Conflict and a Bit of Magic', will be available at no charge May 6 and 7, 2025 at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Barbara-Becker-Holstein/author/B001JXEZ8U?.

The new book helps girls build self esteem through reading the journal of a girl, identifying with the girl, and understanding they have more courage and resiliency than they thought they had. In this book, written by the girl in journal form, the already famous 'girl' 'The Truth, Diary of a Gutsy Tween' and 'Secrets, Diary of a Gutsy Teen' is in her first year of high school and things are not going well at all. A boyfriend that disappoints her has to be dealt with. A party only furthers her problems and despair. An opportunity to go visit her aunt in Minnesota and get away from her irritating family seems too good to be true. She gets to Minnesota and finds that her Aunt is only too eager to involve her in a seance night that brings up mysterious information and a deceased relative. The 'girl' comes home to deal with more mysteries, communication problems with mom and finally some wonderful moments that explain a lot.

As a school psychologist and in her private practice, Dr. Holstein has worked with many children and parents, helping them to develop life skills in decision making, recognize their own talents, feel more courageous, and helping both kids and parents develop more successful inter-generational skills.

Building resilience and self-esteem is absolutely crucial for girls, and for women of all ages, as it empowers them to navigate challenges and setbacks with confidence, fostering mental and emotional well-being. High self-esteem enables women to advocate for themselves and their rights, breaking down barriers and stereotypes. Resilience helps women to bounce back from adversity, making them more adaptable and better equipped to pursue their goals and aspirations.

"I'm so excited to present the second edition of Conflict and a Bit of Magic,” Dr. Holstein stated. “I’m excited it will be in an ebook version at no charge. There is also a short film version of this book that you can view at https://vimeo.com/showcase/10863899/video/895136258. It will be magical to read the book with your child and then watch the film together. I am sure lots of discussion will develop.

“As a filmmaker as well as a positive psychologist, an author and a playwright I am always looking at ways to inspire kids to develop their talents. The film version utilizes the concept of selfie film making. I hope you take a look. Smart phones are a dream come true for families. Not only can families record important events as a family, but each person can keep his or her own diary of thoughts and pictures via the smart phone. How amazing can life be? To be able to make films with your children about any subject? Please feel free to share any creative moments that may happen in your family as your read and then hopefully see the film all about Conflict and a Bit of Magic. My address is Barbara.Holstien@gmail.com.”
