Books, Videos And Other Resources To Help Overcome Bullying, Anxiety And Depression Provided By Jody Sharpe, Award Winning Author Of Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder

Sharpe is the author of a number of award-winning books and videos for adults and children that can help readers and viewers find hope, inspiration and gratitude.

Anxiety, depression and hopelessness are major mental health challenges not only in the US, but worldwide. Here is America we are living in times in which the pandemic, political unrest, social upheaval and mass shootings headline nearly every media piece. It's no small wonder that we can so easily become anxious, depressed or lose hope. We need some good news for a change.

Award-winning author Jody Sharpe hopes to empower readers to find the good, the beautiful and the true. She does this by writing books, blogging, creating videos and writing screenplays that focus on constructive, life-affirming messages that encourage and support a positive outlook on life, without ignoring or denying the darker side of human nature.

Jody spreads her message in a number of ways. She has written a series of books about real life angels in everyday situations. She has written a children's book about angels interacting with children. Her latest book, ‘Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder’, centers on special needs children. She also accepts angels stories from the public for the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her blog. Her video channel brings all of this together, offering segments on all of these topics. One topic of special interest is bullying, specifically as it relates to special needs children.

'Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder' is a memoir based on her twenty-five years teaching children with special needs. The book placed second in the National Federation Of Press Women’s At-Large Communication contest. The book is as entertaining as it is illuminating. It’s a love story about the special students and others who over the years graced her life with just that, their grace.

With hearts of angels and challenges to face, the children took Sharpe along their journeys and inspired her own life’s journey of self-discovery. When sorrow came, their kindness helped her through. The synchronicity of events from high school to retirement changed her life for the better, turning her face toward heaven.

Midwest Book Review stated, "Sharpe's ability to see the good in circumstances and people identifies the 'special' in 'special needs' as she delineates her journey through the education system and those teaching and social encounters which changed her perspective and life.

"Teachers (especially those working with special needs kids) will find this spiritual and social reflection easily accessible. It's presented in vignettes which offer small, digestible bites of insight into a world where angels and kindness are present in more than one form."

‘Special Needs Children’ follows her recently released children's book about angels, ‘When The Angel Sent Butterflies’. The new book helps children understand that love from their parents and others surrounds them. Love conquers fear and believing that angels are near can help sweep any childhood fear away. This concept is presented in the book when Angel Ken sends Jones and Kate butterflies. The book, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, is now available at Amazon and Ingram.

On the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her site, Sharpe presents stories of real life encounters with angels. The stories are available at Sharpe's website at http://www.jodysharpe.com.

Sharpe recently announced a new release in time for Christmas, 2021. The new book, ‘Town of Angels Christmas’, features the same town and many of the characters from her previous book, ‘Town of Angels’.

Town of Angels - It is angel vs. bully in the town of Mystic Bay, California, where a well kept secret lies. Angels live as humans there. After angels appeared to three children all was blissful in the town full of psychics, and ordinary folk. But as a bully, Klaus Waxman, comes to town, Angel Ken Leighton, a storeowner, must carefully guide his flock of humans not to give to in to the bully’s efforts. As Klaus opens a store mocking the resident angels sightings, Angel Ken guides psychic Justine Greer and her family to thwart his efforts. And with the help of the indomitable oldest psychic in town, Madam Norma, the bully meets his match with soft voices and intuitive minds…

Midwest's review of 'Town of Angels' said, "Those who welcome the thought, appearance, and approaches of angels in everyday life will relish the positive notes, mystery, and problem-solving attitudes of angel and human alike in this gentle story of kindness, hope, belief, and resolving differences."

To Catch An Angel - Jody is also the author of 'To Catch An Angel', written in memory of her late husband Steve. In 'To Catch An Angel', miracles happen in Mystic Bay, California, the town with the psychic and angel vibe. Angels are calling. Psychic Maggie Malone returns home to find she's swept up in the miracle of it all. She can't imagine why her mother left or who her father might be. But these questions pale in comparison to the wonder of the angels. Maggie meets writer, Noah Greenstreet. They realize they've met before, but where? Maggie and Noah embark on a journey to find our world is all awash with angels.

The Angel's Daughter - A secret lies in Mystic Bay, California and only two people know it. First there’s Hannah, a tender curly headed half Angel Then there’s her father, Gabe, an effervescent, teddy bear of a full-blooded angel. And it’s up to Hannah to keep the secret safe but she’s made a colossal mistake telling her ex-boyfriend and writing professor, Sam Blakely. Now he’s written a book exposing the secret to the world.

Sharpe hopes to create a collection of angel stories that involve sightings of angels, interaction with angels, miraculous angel encounters and other types of accounts or stories. Everyone is welcome to submit angel stories. All submissions will be considered, but inclusion is not guaranteed. Stories may be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd.

Award Winning Author Jody Sharpe Announces New Christmas Book, ‘Town Of Angels Christmas’, Addresses Prejudice, Racism And Cruelty

Sharpe's latest book will feature characters from her last book about angels, ‘Town Of Angels’. She also announced a new video about angels on her video channel, which features angel stories and stories from her experience working with special needs children.

Award winning author Jody Sharpe has announced a new release in time for Christmas, 2021. The new book, ‘Town of Angels Christmas’, features the same town and many of the characters from her previous book, ‘Town of Angels’. Sharpe has interacted directly with angels and it has changed her life. Her mission in life is to offer us proof of the existence of angels. She does this through her books, her blog and now through videos via her Youtube channel.

In announcing the new book, Sharpe stated, "Creating Mystic Bay, a town where angels live as humans has been my greatest joy in writing. I’ve always loved Christmas and so I’m in the process of writing the fourth in the Mystic Bay Series. It will be a book filled with all the same endearing characters and feature Angel Ken as the main character. Of course, there will be themes from today. Ken, an African American man I met on a plane a few years ago who worried about racism in America, inspired me to write him as a main endearing character to love. I wrote him as an angel living a human experience. Town Of Angels Christmas will feature the people of Mystic Bay showing the world prejudice and cruelty are not tolerated in their town. With love and guidance other characters will be ready for change."

Real Life Angel Encounters Detailed By Jody Sharpe, Award Winning Author Of Town Of Angels

Sharpe's video channel features angel stories and stories from her experience working with special needs children.

Are angels real? While many people believe angels exist, others do not. True stories of angel sightings abound. Do a search on Google or Youtube and you'll likely find hundreds of photos and video of angels (though many are certainly faked). That said, what we really need is proof. Jody Sharpe has that proof.

Sharpe recently presented some of that proof in another installment of 'The Angels On My Shoulder' on Youtube at https://youtu.be/1DFDYOZfImw. In the new video she presents a number of stories from her own life and another from an acquaintance.

“I believe in angels,” Sharpe stated. “After  losing my daughter I am sure I met a man who was really an angel. So many people  I’ve met or read about have their own angel experiences  to tell.   I believe angels are here to guide and comfort us along our way.”

Jody spreads her messages about angels in a number of ways. She has written a series of books about real life angels in everyday situations. She has written a children's book about angels interacting with children. Her latest book centers on special needs children. She accepts angels stories from the public for the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her blog. Her video channel brings all of this together, offering segments on all of these topics. One topic of special interest is bullying, specifically as it relates to special needs children.

Her latest book, 'Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder' is a memoir based on her twenty-five years teaching children with special needs.

One Amazon review stated, "This book should be required reading for all teaching students; not just special needs teachers. This book has so much value in demonstrating the positive affects that teachers can have on students, and also the blessings that students provide to their teachers. It would show new teachers personal benefits which they may have not yet realized. It is heart-warming and adorable.; absolutely enjoyable for everyone. It is short, but effective, and I am sure that many other teachers have examples they could add . . ."

The new book follows her recently released children's book about angels, "When The Angel Sent Butterflies".

Jody's works center on angels on earth and the expression of their love and protection through synchronicity. On the 'Tuesdays With The Angels' section of her site, Sharpe presents stories of real life encounters with angels. The stories are available at Sharpe's website at http://www.jodysharpe.com.

In Sharpe's earlier, highly acclaimed novels, angels take on human form and interact with humanity in a variety of ways:

Town of Angels - It is angel vs. bully in the town of Mystic Bay, California, where a well kept secret lies. Angels live as humans there. After angels appeared to three children all was blissful in the town full of psychics, and ordinary folk. But as a bully, Klaus Waxman, comes to town, Angel Ken Leighton, a storeowner, must carefully guide his flock of humans not to give to in to the bully’s efforts. New Video Segment On Video Channel Dedicated To Special Needs Children And Angels Announced By Award Winning Author Jody Sharpe

Sharpe's new video channel features angel stories and stories from her experience working with special needs children.

Jody Sharpe's latest book, 'Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder' is a memoir based on her twenty-five years teaching children with special needs.

"Angels are real and are there to touch us with love and goodwill," award winning author Jody Sharpe stated in a recent blog post. She knows this to be a fact.

Jody spreads this message in a number of ways.

"Bullying happens at some point to all of us either in person or on social media," Sharpe wrote. "When very personal unkind questions were posed to me the other day, I didn’t hesitate. For long ago I realized the gift of love, forgiveness and carrying on.

"As I write in my novels and blogs, the bully is the ultimate sad character. He or she never wins while only trying to feel superior by hurting others.

"Today in our world, I believe there’s a spiritual awakening and only love can mend us all. Loving yourself and others is the only armor anyone needs to counteract any cruelty. The angels have been with me on Tuesdays and everyday all my wonderful grateful life."

Jody is the author of five books. Her latest book, 'Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder', is as entertaining as it is illuminating. Readers will likely never look at special needs children in the same way again.

As Klaus opens a store mocking the resident angels sightings, Angel Ken guides psychic Justine Greer and her family to thwart his efforts. And with the help of the indomitable oldest psychic in town, Madam Norma, the bully meets his match with soft voices and intuitive minds…

Award Winning Author Of Children's Books, Dr Nicole, Announces Latest Book In Felix And Booboo Series, 'Lucas Has An Earache'

Dr. Nicole is a multi-award winning best-selling author, based in Quebec. She writes children’s books that educate, inspire and teach valuable life lessons.

Multi-award-winning children's book author Dr. Nicole has announced the release of a new book in the Felix and Booboo Series, 'Lucas Has An Earache'. The new book is one of a series of eight books that address medical issues and make them understandable for young children. The goal is to increase the child's understanding of his body and to help eliminate fear of diseases. This series is also available in French (Félix et Boubou) in paperback, Kindle and PDF versions.

In this book Lucas, Felix’s cousin, cannot swim because he has an ear infection. Fortunately, Felix and his magical medical  instruments have a good solution to fight the bacteria responsible for this infection. This story reveals the secrets of otitis. This book will help children understand the issues surrounding earaches and will help them understand that suffering from otitis is normal for many people and is no cause for alarm. The book includes a quiz at the end to further the understanding of the child in regards to allergies.

"My true intentions regarding writing this series are to inspire children to read, to set their imaginations free and to encourage good decision-making regarding health, safety and critical thinking," Dr. Nicole stated. " Writing children’s books is a way for me to give back and be a positive resource to the community. It is a way that I can positively express myself while having some fun and at the same time be a positive role model for both children and caregivers. I hope that my books inspire children to set their minds free and work to make the world a better place. Otitis are frequent children’s disease. My intention was to explain this disease to children and their care givers."

In addition to otitis, other subjects covered in the series include gastroenteritis, broken bones, head lice, allergies, the human body, vaccinations and chickenpox. All of the books in the series can be used by educators and medical professionals to help kids understand that these types of conditions are normal and are not to be feared or avoided.

In the traditions of Walt Disney and Dr. Seuss, Dr. Nicole breathes life into inanimate objects and wildly entertaining characters that engage children in powerful ways. Through the parent/child interaction, her works develop a love for reading while helping children develop the most important skill of all - critical thinking. If a child can master the art of critical thinking, nearly everything else falls into place.

'Lucas Has An Earache' has received Readers’ Favorite 5 stars. The reviewer Edith Wairimu wrote, "Lucas Has an Earache by Dr. Nicole Audet is definitely an interesting story for all young readers. Many young children find a visit to the doctor a daunting and frightening experience. However, Dr. Nicole Audet finds a creative and imaginative way of making the visits more fun and less scary. In this particular book, some of the most common instruments used in a hospital for children are explained and their functions elaborated upon. The questions incorporated at the end of the story are spot on. They will definitely enhance readers' comprehension of the function of each medical instrument, particularly in the case of ear ailments. Additionally, the illustrations by Mylène Villeneuve are interesting and innovative. Overall, the idea behind the book, 'Lucas Has an Earache' by Dr. Nicole Audet, is simply brilliant and the execution even more accurate and enthralling."

Award Winning Children's Book Author Dr Nicole Announces Latest Book In Felix And Booboo Series, 'Maya's Head Is Itching'

Dr. Nicole is a multi-award winning best-selling author, based in Quebec. She writes children’s books that educate, inspire and teach valuable life lessons.

Multi-award-winning children's book author Dr. Nicole has announced the release of a new book in the Felix and Booboo Series, 'Maya's Head Is Itching'. The goal is to increase the child's understanding of his body and to help eliminate fear of diseases. This series is also available in French (Félix et Boubou) in paperback, Kindle and PDF versions.

In this exciting adventure, Felix and his magical medical instruments hunt down Maya’s head lice. Booboo, the captain of the instruments, tells Maya all about head lice. This book will help children understand the issues surrounding head lice, including how modern medicine cures the head lice problem. A quiz at the end of the book challenges the child’s reading skills.

"My true intentions regarding writing this series are to inspire children to read, to set their imaginations free and to encourage good decision-making regarding health, safety and critical thinking," Dr. Nicole stated. 'Maya's Head Is Itching' has received 5 stars from readers and reviewers. Vernita Taylor, in a Readers Favorite review, stated, "This book is so wonderfully presented because it takes the child on a journey into learning about head lice and all of the steps and processes that go into ridding one of head lice. I see this book as if Dr. Audet herself was sitting down and explaining the process of head lice to the child. This book offers a great solution for helping the child to not only understand, but to share with their friends. As a part of the Felix and Booboo Series, your child will never stop learning about the various things that the body experiences - from chickenpox and earache to feeling sick. Add this book to your library; you won't regret it."
