Children’s Historical Christian Book Author Sandra Waggoner Releases Danger at Wolf Rock

A great Christian book for kids, Waggoner's book features dangerous missions, a deadly wolf and a determined young man whose father has had to go off to fight in the Civil War

Sandra Waggoner has announced the release of 'Danger at Wolf Rock'. The new historical children's Christian book features a dangerous mission, a deadly wolf and one very determined young man. The story is set against a background in which the boy’s father is away fighting in the Civil War.

In the story, young Boone’s grandfather is long overdue from a hunting trip. He had set out among the rugged boulders days ago to hunt the wolf that is terrorizing the foothills of Colorado. The family desperately needs the reward money being offered to the man who kills the infamous wolf.

Boone’s heart sinks when he finds his grandfather has been attacked by the wolf the old man had dubbed General E. Lee. Can Boone get his grandpap back to the cabin in time? And can the young man restrain his family from doing what they feel is necessary “for Grandpap’s own good”? When Boone sneaks off to avenge his grandfather, he runs into an even more treacherous opponent.

"Readers will enjoy this book," Sandra states, "as young Boone struggles to prove himself worthy to be called a man; not just any man, but one equal to Grandpap. As the story unfolds, battles rage with the cunning and mystifying wolf, General E. Lee. In the meantime, Boone faces conflicts with nature itself while he wars with emotions toward those closest to his heart."
