It presents a picture of Jesus drawn from a scriptural perspective and, as with all her work, Diorio strives seeks truth within Truth while remaining true to scriptural principles.

"I wrote this book," Diorio stated, "for three reasons: 1) I wanted children to know Jesus as Love Personified, 2) I wanted children to desire to become Jesus’ friend and 3) I wanted to present the truth about Jesus Christ in a culture that is presenting so many lies about Him."

"Children ask tough questions," concluded Diorio, "like 'Does Jesus still love me when I’m naughty?' These kinds of questions can pose a special challenge to parents, grandparents, and caregivers as they teach their children about God. In this book I hope to help answer some of these tough questions.  As a mother, grandmother, and teacher, I have firsthand experience with children and has personally faced their difficult questions. 'Who Is Jesus?' presents a Biblical picture of our Savior in a way that will children recognize Him as Love Personified.  Little children will come to know Jesus as the essence of all that is good, holy, and true. As this book is read to children, grandchildren, nieces, or nephews, they will learn that Jesus Christ cares about them and loves them with a perfect love."
