New Video Biopic, Bipolar Me, Details The Story Of Sid Nachman, The First Person To Be Diagnosed As Bipolar

Based on his highly praised memoir, 'Bipolar Me', the new video takes viewers though the story of Nachman's experiences as the first person in the US to be diagnosed bipolar

According to the National Institute of Mental Health website, "Bipolar disorder (formerly called manic-depressive illness or manic depression) is a mental disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, concentration, and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks."

"There are three types of bipolar disorder. All three types involve clear changes in mood, energy, and activity levels. These moods range from periods of extremely “up,” elated, irritable, or energized behavior (known as manic episodes) to very “down,” sad, indifferent, or hopeless periods (known as depressive episodes)."

That definition, while very descriptive, does not really tell us what this means in regards to how this affects the day-to-day life of an individual.

Sid Nachman was the first person in the USA to be diagnosed bipolar. Reviewers have called his memoir, 'Bipolar Me', "a roller coaster ride through the mind of one of the funniest and endearing story-tellers of his generation." That story is now available in video format on Youtube, Vimeo and on Amazon Fire TV and Roku. The video biopic features Sid describing many of the events of his life, presented in a wry and sardonic style that is his trademark.

'Bipolar Me' provides an insightful and captivating glimpse into the day-to-day experience of a man who dealt with this condition - during a time when this type of affliction might be diagnosed as a form of schizophrenia. In those days the treatment might involve electric shock treatment or, in severe cases, being locked away.

'Bipolar Me' has garnered high praise from readers and reviewers alike. Sid's no-holds-barred writing style produces a work that is filled with hilarious stories that show us that life is just plain good. It is a highly entertaining memoir that allows readers a glimpse into the unfettered mind of a bipolar boy who never grows up until his hair turns white. Readers will get to see his world in black and white and vivid color and will feel what he feels when he feels like he weighs three thousand pounds and a minute later can leap over tall buildings. Sid's life is a life gone wild that settles down only when it’s almost too late.

Sid's first book, 'Strictly For Seniors' is a nonfiction work of short stories about what happened to Sid "after breakfast on Delancey Street" in West Philly during the 30’s and 40’s when his Mom gave him a big hug and kiss and sent him on his way. Sid had great fun, survived bullying by hitting the bigger boys about the head with his violin case and developed his own singular brand of “street smarts".

Nachman is also the author of 'Kiss Abuse Goodbye'. The book tells the story of a woman who suffers unspeakable abuse and then healing, from early childhood into adult life. The main character managed to overcome her experience, transforming a miserable past into a future filled with promise and hope. Sid Nachman recounts her inspiring tale with a dose of acerbic wit that shines through on every page. The end result is a book that is both wildly entertaining and incredibly revealing. He has also produced a screenplay based on the book, titled ‘Raw’.

Nachman's books have received fantastic reviews. One stated, "Like James Joyce, Sid Nachman can take the ordinary and turn it into magic with a fluency that's imperceptible." Another said "Sid's stories touch the human soul with wit, charm and realism."

The new video is available at Youtube at https://youtu.be/Q-j_u6ZFF1I, Vimeo at https://vimeo.com/483258605 and on Amazon Fire TV and Roku.

Human Trafficking Must Be Stopped And Everyone Has A Role To Play Says Monica Deller Of Trauma To Triumph Family Ranches

Monica Deller, an Amazon Bestselling author, hopes to bring more awareness to the issue of human trafficking and is compiling stories for a new book series on human trafficking and related subjects.

Human trafficking is one of those issues that most of us prefer not to think about. It boggles the mind that this takes place in our modern day society. While high profile cases such as the Jeffrey Epstein story occasionally bring the problem to light, many of us simply move on and expect that some other person, organization or government program will take care of it. Monica Deller believes each of us have a part to play. As the bestselling author of 'Trauma To Triumph', she intends to use her writing talent to bring these issues to light through a new series of books, currently in production. She requests that people who have been affected by human trafficking submit their stories to her for possible publication in this new series of books.

"Human trafficking - It’s beyond what the normal mind can comprehend," Deller said in a recent blog post. "It drives all kinds of emotions, blood boiling anger, heart wrenching sadness, a passion to do something, a desire to evoke those same emotions in others in order to make people aware of this desperate need, to stop this atrocity against children but in reality no one is safe from what is going on behind the scenes. A baby, a toddler, a young child, teenagers and adults…. No one is safe. Again, I say, it’s beyond what the human mind can comprehend, the normal mind that is."

"It’s in the news more these days, which is at least making aware there is a huge issue. Just when I think I’ve written on the subject and can move on to another topic – wham, another story comes up in the news or on social media and now with what I just read, I decided I needed to land on this topic and be a part of putting the focus on this issue. This issue is very real, and we all need to do our part. Everyone, yes, everyone has a role to play in working together to stop human trafficking."

The full statement is available at Deller's website at http://www.TraumaToTriumphFamilyRanches.com. Those who wish to submit their stories anonymously for possible publication in the upcoming book series should contact Monica Deller directly by email.

Trauma To Triumph Family Ranches offers a totally unique approach to offering solutions to these problems, and many others. While other organizations hold the same goals, Trauma To Triumph is different in 3 specific ways:

They develop programs based on traditional Christian values.

They hold to the American value system as developed by our Founders

Their model is holistic in nature, covering the entire family structure.

The ranch will provide for individuals a place to come and experience the freedom of healing from strongholds, abuse, and depression. Programs, far too many in number to be listed here (see website) are designed to address the whole person spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and nutritionally.

Deller understands intimately the issues, as she has personally experienced many of them and, as a result, has written a bestselling book entitled, 'Trauma to Triumph - If I can you can too'. Readers and reviewers have lavished praise on the new book, calling it "a heart wrenching story", "uplifting and inspirational" and "a work of tremendous revelation." One Amazon reviewer said, "I absolutely loved this book - WOW, and I thought I had some rough patches in life... this will blow your mind! I love the no nonsense truth and transparency. I can relate and am already using this book to guide myself to triumph! Thank you Monica for being brave and sharing your story."

Monica Deller is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at monicaedeller@gmail.com. 'Trauma to Triumph - If I can you can too' is available from booksellers including Amazon. More information regarding Trauma To Triumph Family Ranches, including full program listings and a series of articles in the 'Speak Out With Monica' section is available at her website at http://TraumaToTriumphFamilyRanches.com.

About Trauma To Triumph Family Ranches:

The mission of the organization is to give hope to people who have been affected by poverty, substance abuse, gangs, imprisonment, homelessness, abuse, and neglect, etc., by connecting them to God, through a loving relationship with Jesus Christ, and to a community of support, while helping them to develop a support system that will encourage each to make positive, long-term, God-honoring changes in their lives, thus knowing they are valued by, and have purpose in, Christ. It is their desire to provide a distinctly life changing experience to the youth, children and their families who enter in the programs at Trauma To Triumph Family Ranches. The goal is to help youth and children and their entire families change their lives, developing new habits to live confident, healed and restored lives consistently.

Former Catholic, Sister Olga, Testifies In Regard To Decision To Leave The Catholic Church

While recent scandals and abuse within the Catholic Church have caused record numbers of Catholics to leave the Church, many feel there are even deeper issues within Catholicism

A recent article found on the USNews.com website details a Gallup survey that shows over one-third of Catholics are questioning their commitment to the church as the result of the ongoing abuse scandals. Ongoing scandals however are not the only reason Christians consider leaving the Catholic Church. A compelling and powerful testimony by Sister Olga can be found on Dan Corner's Evangelical Outreach website at https://evangelical outreach.org. The testimony, given by Sister Olga, reads in part:

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus. I'm here to give my testimony of how I came to leave the Catholic Church. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana which is a very Catholic city. Both sides of my family were Catholic. When I was 6, for a year, we lived with my grandparents who were very devout Roman Catholics. My grandfather had a special prayer bench in his bedroom where he knelt to say the rosary. They had a big poster of the pope hanging over the TV set in the family room. We went to mass regularly.

I performed all the sacraments: did the first communion, went to catechism, made my confirmation at age 13, and even performed a novena to Saint Martha when I was 9. A novena is a special intention prayer where you get your request granted after praying for 9 consecutive Tuesdays. For 9 Tuesdays, I went to the Shrine of Saint Jude, and there, I knelt in front of a statue of Mary or one of the female saints. My special request was that my dead great grandmother receive early dismissal from purgatory in order to get to heaven sooner.

I loved the seemingly mystical aspects of Roman Catholicism, and even as a child, I sensed the sort of magic of Catholicism because, at the gift shop in the church where I made the novena, I asked if they sold Tarot cards which are used for fortune telling. I was very drawn to the mysticism of Catholicism -- the crystal rosaries and glass prayer beads, the candles, the pretty prayer cards of saints, the holy water, the bells, the incense, the stained glass windows, and all the other trappings. I used to believe that the water when blessed by the priest really had some kind of special power. When I was a child, one of my favorite parts of the mass was when the priest would ring the little bell, and then walk down the aisle, followed by 2 alter boys, and swing an incense burner on a chain while the smoke rose up, after which he sprinkled the holy water walking down the aisle.

As a child I prayed to the dead saints, Mary and also to my dead great grandmother. In New Orleans, we would host the rosary at my grandmother's house during hurricane season. Our Lady of Prompt Succor was prayed to help ward off hurricanes. When I lost an item, my mother told me to pray to St. Anthony, the patron saint of lost items. Later on in life, when I was starting to seek God and had not yet come out of Catholicism, I was going through a rough time, and a Catholic friend sent me a prayer card of St. Jude, the patron saint of impossible cases. I prayed to St. Jude to help me with my handicapped child. I should have asked God instead.

When I was in my early 40's, I started to seriously seek God after decades of indifference. Since I grew up Catholic, I returned to the Catholic Church where I was still drawn to the buildings, the stained glass windows and statues which I had always found intriguing. I remember meeting with the priest before joining the church, and I told him I was interested in reading the Bible. He did not seem enthusiastic about me reading scripture on my own, and he warned me to be careful about what I read, that I do not want to read the wrong thing. The priest telling me I should avoid reading on my own did not sit well with me, but made me suspicious. I was also coming under conviction by the Holy Spirit that the focus of my faith should be Jesus and NOT Mary since Jesus is Lord.

I was searching for a more real faith and relationship with God, something that could be lived out every day, and not just on Sundays or holidays. I had heard or read about graven images and idolatry, and I thought about those scriptural truths as I contemplated the statues, candles and images of saints. At this particular time of my spiritual journey, I was starting to see the serious error in the plan of salvation embraced and taught by Catholicism. I started reading the Bible for myself, which declares a saving faith to be exclusively in the Lord Jesus Christ which submits to him and which does the will of God (Acts 20:21; Gal. 3:26; Eph. 5:24a; Luke 8:21; 11:28; Mt. 7:21; etc.). Such a saving faith excludes faith in Mary, the sacraments and being a Catholic.

I had heard of the Fatima Visions, which reinforced the primacy of Mary and the rosary in the Catholic plan of salvation. According to Catholic doctrine concerning these visions, Mary said, "I (Mary) will never leave you. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God" (p.26 of the booklet, Lucia Speaks on the Message of Fatima). Furthermore, the personage representing herself as Our Lady of Fatima said, "I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to Confession and receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary and keep me company for a quarter of an hour while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me" (pp.46-47).

One of the first Bible truths I came across was John 14:6, where Jesus stated, "I am THE way, truth and life; no one comes to the father except through me." THE way means the sole or the only way, and thereby excludes any other way. It is also written that there is only ONE mediator between God and man and that is the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5)

Nonetheless, the popes endorse the Fatima visions and all their content. The issue is not whether or not a vision or miracle took place, but what is the source of the miracle and vision. There are 2 sources of miracles and supernatural occurrences. If a vision or experience leads you closer to the God of the Bible in obedience, then the miracle is from God. If the message of the vision or experience contradicts scripture and leads you away from what is written in the Word of God, then the source of the vision is the devil. The Devil can duplicate a feeling of peace, which he does during transcendental meditation and when taking the communion wafer. I used to get the warm and fuzzies after the host would melt in my mouth. I realize now that this was a seducing spirit and a devilish sign and wonder; it was a counterfeit peace as scripture mentions:

For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, fashioning themselves into apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (2 Corinthians 11:14).
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie. (2 Thessalonians 2:9).
They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty. (Rev 16:14)
In the book of Exodus, we learn that some of God's miracles were duplicated by Satan's power channeled through the Egyptian sorcerers -- their wooden staffs became snakes (Ex. 7:10-11); water was changed into blood (Ex. 7:20-22) and frogs came out of the water and covered the land. (Ex. 8:6-7)

Besides the worship of Mary, there is the belief that the Eucharist is the literal body, blood, soul and divinity of Christ. The verse that has been severely misunderstood by Catholics is John 6:53, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you". When John 6:53 was spoken, the Lord's Supper had not yet occurred. In John's gospel, the Last Supper isn't recorded until chapter 13 and without any emphasis at all on communion. If Jn. 6:53 really referred to the communion wafer, then no one could have eternal life without the wafer from the time these words were spoken until the practice of communion actually began. In reality, to eat the flesh and drink the blood of Christ means to believe (John 6:47) and we see this also in John 6:68-69, where Peter said to Jesus, "You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God".

Furthermore, if John 6:53 is to be literally understood, then one is actually eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Jesus during a Catholic mass. According to the doctrine of transubstantiation, the inherent properties of the thing will change; that is, the communion wafer will taste like human flesh and blood. Refer to John 2:7-11 where Jesus changed the water into wine; after that genuine transubstantiation occurred, the inherent properties of the water changed, and it no longer tasted like water but wine. Such biblical truth opposes the Catholic doctrine that the communion wafer is transformed into the body and blood of Christ.

Catholics pray the Hail Holy Queen prayer at the end of the rosary, in which they proclaim Mary to be our life, sweetness and hope as well as our most gracious advocate. Yet, according to the Bible, Jesus is our life (Col. 3:4), our sweetness (Mt. 11:29) and our hope (1 Tim. 1:1). He is also our gracious advocate (1 Jn. 2:1, KJV). Praying to (or through) Mary, the saints, dead relatives, kissing statues or images, and genuflecting in the aisle in front of the alter before entering the pew (a form of worship) are all idolatrous acts. This idolatry (worship, veneration of another) is serious in God's sight. God on his throne in Revelation 21:7-8 said, “Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars -- they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death”.

The "Hail Mary" prayer says, "Pray for us at the hour of our death". At the hour of our death, we should pray for ourselves and pray to Jesus - not Mary. (Acts 7:59) Furthermore, asking Mary to intercede for us is attributing to her omniscience which is a characteristic of God alone. Attributing God's characteristics to a creature is idolatry. Mary is unable to hear prayers, and she is not to be exalted over giving birth to Jesus, as Catholicism has done.

As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” He replied, “Blessed RATHER are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (Luke 11:27-28)

Then Jesus' mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, "Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you." "Who are my mother and my brothers?" he asked. Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother." (Matthew 12:46-50).

As a final word to Catholics, do not just trust what the priests, the pope, or your family tell you about eternal life and how to get to God. Read the New Testament for yourself. Jesus told the religious leaders of his day that their traditions of men voided his word. The traditions of the veneration of Mary, rosary, communion wafer, sacraments, etc., are all in contradiction of the Bible. You will be shocked to find that Mary is not the way to Jesus or the Father, that she is not the mediatrix and dispenser of all graces, and that she is not the sinless Queen of Heaven or the mother of God. (In the Bible you will see that Mary has no role in our salvation.)

Jesus is the ultimate authority on spiritual matters. Do not be deceived by the devil's lies. God will greet you with open arms and will be glad to have you and welcome you into his family IF you come to him humbly on HIS TERMS. Jesus said, "Come unto me all you who are weary, and I will give you rest for your soul". (Mt. 11:28-29) He never said, "Go to my mother". If you are sick, you go to the doctor, not his mother. Again, read your Bible, and disregard the teachings and traditions of men. God bless you.

Author Skye Gordon Announces Release of New Novel, 'The Comeuppance'

The new book details the fictional story of an abused and scarred young girl's path to forgiveness

Author Skye Gordon has announced the release of a new novel, 'The Comeuppance'. As one of the authors of great literary erotic fiction, Skye Gordon produces works of wildly entertaining fiction that are engrossing, captivating and tantalizing. In a comparable genre of '50 Shades of Gray', her books are earthy and passionate, but unlike many books in the genre, Gordon addresses a number of serious social issues within a broader context of literary erotica.

Her command of the English language and deft storytelling combine to produce not just a book, but an experience. Her characters are flawed, but delightfully and fully human. Deficiency transforms into strength of character – imperfection leads to redemption and finally to forgiveness and acceptance.

40 year old Sheila is the central character of the book. Beneath her cool exterior lies a little girl trapped inside a nightmare.

A woman scorned... except, in this case, it is not a woman. It is a little girl trapped in a world she cannot understand. She cannot adjust and so she acts out the forces of what she perceives is evil...leading her to develop behaviors in order to survive. As she matures, fortuitous events cross her path, including finding a job with Michael, a clever businessman with a dangerous company.

Being a high-end prostitute, escort, madame and a dominatrix in an S&M environment meets her addiction needs – but business and her past don't mix. Revenge may be the only way to kill the ghosts of her haunted past. What if she kills the boy that started it all? Will killing him succeed in erasing her sordid past? And what if she finds out there is no revenge, but find a circuitous path of forgiveness and redemption instead?

"I wrote this book to highlight the plight of many young and innocent children in this country and any other country in the world," Gordon stated. "How they can be and are indeed exploited in many ways – physically, mentally and sexually is illustrated in this story. I have seen this firsthand happen to a young neighbor completely unable to defend herself. It can serve to alert the proper authorities – be it the parents, the relatives and neighbors. There are signs and symptoms that can be gleaned from the child's behavior that might indicate some of these abuses being perpetuated. In the case of Sheila, she had no defense mechanisms except for a distanced mother who could only commiserate with her living conditions. Through her own efforts and fortuitous circumstances, she went on with life and found a way of mending her broken life."

Reviews have praised 'The Comeuppance'. One said, "The book has a strong narrative, seasoned by delicious erotic flavorings, joined in a most satisfying mix." Another stated, "The core strength is in the narrative and it is a good one."

"The Comeuppance" is available at Amazon. More information, including a sample and a blog, is available at Gordon's website at http://www.authorskyegordon.com.

Assault And The Abuse Of Power - Award-Winning Author S. Jane Gari's 'Losing The Dollhouse' Gives Readers An Inside Look At The Aftermath Of Abuse

Gari's book about child emotional abuse has liberated her from the past and allowed her to finally "put it down". She demonstrates that it is possible to recover and thrive, even after the deepest of betrayals

The major news organizations are filled with stories of sexual abuse. Bill Cosby's accusers now number in the dozens. USA Today reported on an assault by Josh Duggar. CNN and many other news organizations have reported on the story of Donald Dennis who perpetrated abuse on Boy Scouts over a period of 12 years - upwards of 1,000 times with a single child. There are so many stories of abuse by Catholic priests they boggle the mind. A new film starring Michael Keaton, 'Spotlight', chronicles the investigation done by reporters at the Boston Globe who uncovered over 300 stories of abuse by priests in the Boston area alone.

Regardless of the form abuse takes, be it sexual or emotional abuse, regardless of victim or perpetrator, all involve an abuse of power and a violation of trust. In Gari's case, that violation of trust came on two fronts. Her latest book, 'Losing the Dollhouse', reveals the aftermath of her decision to expose her stepfather’s advances. Surprisingly, her mother chose to support the stepfather. The book is a powerful narrative of Gari's journey to healing.

“I wrote 'Losing the Dollhouse' because storytelling is the way I process my own experiences," Gari stated. "My hope for the book is that it helps others in their journey to heal from past traumas. Stories help us examine emotional and sexual abuse and then move toward forgiveness, peace and a solid sense of our own inner strength.”

Three adapted chapters from the book were nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Unlike other emotional abuse books, Gari's work helps readers take three steps toward real healing, all based on the theme "Put It Down":

* Achieve Forgiveness—
Just put down the anger and move from acceptance to peace.

* Achieve Healing—
Just put down the hurt and move from examination to empowerment.

* Overcome Fear—
Just put down the title of “victim” and move from challenger to champion.

Effects of Child Abuse: Long Term Effects Are Devastating Says Martha DuSage, Author Of Book About Recovery From Abuse

Recent events involving the Duggar family have again brought the issue of abuse to the forefront of our consciousness. Martha DuSage believes it is silence that perpetuates abuse of any kind

The recent Duggar controversy has brought child abuse back to the headlines. Martha DuSage, author of 'Why Bother? Because Self Help Is Never Stupid', believes that the subject is being whitewashed. Many other articles have proposed that this is the case. Jason Easley, in an article entitled "Fox News Interview Backfires Instead Shows Why Duggars Should Never Be Allowed Back On TV", on PoliticusUSA stated, "Fox News thought they were helping to save the Duggars, but in reality, they did the public a favor by showing the world why this family should not be allowed on national television."

"I know from personal experience," DuSage stated, "that this type of thing resurfaces at some point in life. The Duggar's minimization of Josh's behavior, and the imposing of their beliefs, is exactly what has caused so many victims to not speak up."

"Like, many survivors, I am estranged from the people who made excuses for abuse, allowing it to be acceptable, so they could remain in denial, avoiding the responsibility to deal with the issue. I heard them use God, religion, forgiveness, and more, as excuses for doing nothing to help me recover. I was supposed to 'just get over it', words that trigger re-victimization in survivors. Often survivors are rebuked for speaking up, which is not an expression of love and support. Dismissal and indifference toward abuse is a sick way of showing love."

Martha has stepped through the looking glass of dysfunction and abuse to discover, what we can all discover, an end to suffering. Through over 20 years of practicing heart-centered conscious knowing, she has first-hand wisdom, rather than clinical experience to share; helping others to see things in a new light regarding their abuse has become a passion of Martha’s. By practicing this heart-centered knowing, a peace within can be created.

DuSage's latest book, 'Why Bother? Because Self Help Is Never Stupid', was written to encourage readers to find a deeper knowing, awareness and appreciation for why it is important to bother. Everyone wants ways to step beyond just coping and into moments of peace, joy and contentment. She shows readers that living through heart-centered conscious knowing and integrity provides a sense of strength, courage, support and comfort while facing the sometimes uncomfortable truth of reality. It covers a wide range of topics, including creation, miscreation, co-creation, ego, embracing and acceptance of all aspects of self and others, forgiveness, abuse, dysfunction, meditation and exercises to process fear and anger but with an element of lightness and humor that isn’t always common in self-help books.

"My goal in writing this book," DuSage concluded, is to help survivors, and those who don’t recognize that they experienced abuse, see that their abuse occurred in more than one way. Too often abuse is dismissed by other using shame, blame, guilt, denial, anger, and indifference, leaving survivors feeling rejected and alone. Recognition will help survivors empower themselves, and take charge of their will to heal. In doing so, we can propel the eradication of abuse.”

Author Kellie Fitzgerald Chosen As Winner For '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading'

Fitzgerald was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors who appeared on The Authors Show Radio in 2014. She is the author of 'When On The Road To Enlightenment, Don't Forget To Take Out The Trash'

Kellie Fitzgerald, author of 'When On The Road To Enlightenment Don't Forget To Take Out The Trash' has been chosen as a winner for '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading'. Winners will appear in this years edition of the book. Fitzgerald was chosen as the result of her appearance on The Authors Show Radio.

Fitzgerald's book was written to help people find those seeds of greatness within themselves and get out of their own way so they can live a happy and satisfying life, whatever that means to the individual. Often people sabotage themselves without realizing it. This book is intended to help people realize when they are sabotaging themselves and how they can stop doing it.

"I did not have an idyllic childhood, which lead directly to my not having an idyllic first marriage," Fitzgerald stated. "I have been abused, beaten down and made to feel as though I was less than nothing. These things lead to years of illness both physical and mental.  Everyone has a past, everyone has had to overcome something in their life, and we've all done things we wish we could take back.  My message is simply this: we all have a tendency to self-sabotage through holding onto our pasts. My passion is helping people face their past, accept it, and move on so that their past doesn't keep happening in their future."

Reviewers have praised 'When On The Road To Enlightenment'. One reviewer recently stated "This is a wonderful book for any point in your life. Every day should be about what we can do to improve our world, and that starts with improving ourselves. Kellie writes about how she made these changes to her own life and shows that even though the steps might be difficult, the end result is amazing and life altering. She clearly shows that change must start with ourselves and writes about how to do it by doing it every day. She includes steps that many of us forget (like taking out the trash), but are so important. This is a must read for anyone, no matter where you are in life or what you are doing . . ."

Kellie Fitzgerald is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at oneintuitivelifecoach@yahoo.com. Child Abuse From The Perspective Of The Victim - KMG Baughman Releases New Novel, 'I've Had Enough'

There are no levels or degrees of harm in regards to the effects of child abuse. In the case of Alyssa Schaeffer however, the abuse was so horrific it shattered the mind of the victim into pieces. Schaeffer now suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder. Baughman’s goal is to raise awareness of the devastating effects of child abuse and to help stop it

Child abuse makes headlines every day. Even so, the numbers of cases that make headlines are but a miniscule percentage of cases that actually occur. The rest, unreported, are missing from those headlines. Absent from the stories we do read about is the most important aspect of that story - the voice of the victim.

'I've Had Enough' is one such story. It is a true story. But this case is unlike any other true
story of abuse. The victim in this story suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder as the result of the abuse.

Thirty-four and a half years of physical, mental, verbal, sexual abuse, and even incest, beginning before age 2, caused the victim to split her mind – to create other personalities without her own knowledge - in the attempt to hide from the perpetrators who were her own family members.

"My goal in releasing this book," Baughman stated, "is to bring about awareness of mental illness and the consequences of mental illness when it goes undiagnosed and/or untreated. I want to provide an example. This book shows the victims point of view - not knowing what is happening - and the fear and anger that builds in the meantime."

In the story, Alyssa Schaeffer suffers from a lifetime of abuse. She is afraid of men in particular and becomes afraid of her own shadow. ‘I’ve Had Enough!’ will show how Alyssa lives her life in fear, as the abuse continues well into her adult life, leading up to a point where she has a mental breakdown. The book details how Alyssa is forced to commit herself to counseling to protect herself from her perpetrators and to get the answers she seeks.

This story is written in an attempt to keep not only Schaeffer's true identity, but also the identities of the perpetrators out of the public eye. It is written as it happened. It is raw. It is shocking. It is beyond belief and lies outside the boundaries of human decency.

What happens when the mind of an abused child breaks and can take no more? 'I've Had Enough!' answers that question.

"There is," Baughman continued, "a bit of everything in this book; mystery, suspense, horror, humor, romance, seduction, psychology, sadness, unpredictability and adventure. It is a roller coaster ride. There is more to come."

KMG Baughman is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at kmgbaughman@gmail.com. 'I've Had Enough!' is available at Amazon and at her website. More information is available at her website at www.kmgbaughman.com.

About KMG Baughman:

KMG Baughman details the story of Alyssa Schaeffer who suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder as the result of years of abuse of nearly every kind. It took many years of pain, suffering and sacrifice to bring her to the realization that there is hope. It required true love, a great deal of patience and the guidance of her adopted parents and husband to show her what real parenting, true love and trust are meant to be.
