The Third Commandment In The Christian Bible: The Misuse of God's Name and Idol Making - Biblical Truth Presented By Evangelical Holiness

Evangelical Outreach, EOMIN.org, proclaims and defends the Christian Gospel against various forms of religious deceptions from Catholicism to Jehovah's Witnesses to Eternal Security to KJB Onlyism.

All people are commanded to avoid taking the Lord's name in vain. Taking God's holy name in vain can include any misuse from the holy way it is cited in scripture itself, including using it with profanity. As presented in the following passages by Evangelical Outreach, the third of the ten commandments is directly related to God's most holy name:

You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. (Exo 20:7)

Elsewhere we read of God's unique and most high name:

Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens. (Psa 148:13)

...you have exalted above all things your name and your word. (Psa 138:2)

...your name alone do we honor. (Isa 26:13)

No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. (Jer 10:6)

...your adversaries misuse your name. (Psa 139:20)

Some believe those truths are under attack. How? The Catholic Magisterium teaches to misuse Mary's name violates the command to not misuse God's name!

2146 The second commandment forbids the abuse of God's name, i.e., every improper use of the names of God, Jesus Christ, but also of the Virgin Mary and all the saints. (CCC 2146)

FYI, What the Catholic church calls the 'second commandment' is actually the third commandment. The Catholic church ignores the real second commandment for obvious reasons:

You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not BOW DOWN to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. (Exo 20:4-6)

"The Likeness of Male or Female" Omitted

Shocking but true – note the following quote and especially the three dots (ellipsis), which indicates missing words in the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

2129 The divine injunction included the prohibition of every representation of God by the hand of man. Deuteronomy explains: "Since you saw no form on the day that the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire, beware lest you act corruptly by making a graven image for yourselves, in the form of any figure. . . . " It is the absolutely transcendent God who revealed himself to Israel. "He is the all," but at the same time "he is greater than all his works." He is "the author of beauty."

The footnote attached to that ellipsis is Deut. 4:15-16 and that passage reads:

Therefore watch yourselves very carefully. Since you saw no form on the day that the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire, beware lest you act corruptly by making a carved image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, THE LIKENESS OF MALE OR FEMALE.

The Catholic magisterium wants to conceal those 6 words, the likeness of male or female, because they themselves continue to violate that command with their millions of images in the form of male and female.

Getting back to God's name being misused, the third of the Ten commandments (not the second one) is the one related to God's holy name:

You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. (Exo 20:7)

Had God wanted to include sinful man's name to an equal importance with his own sacred name it would state so, but it surely doesn't. Just the thought of sinful people being elevated to the unique importance of God's most high and exalted name is disturbing. Again, scripture says:

...you have exalted above all things your name and your word. (Psa 138:2)

The compound problem there is: the Catholic teaching not only lowers and devaluates Almighty God's name to the level of Mary and the names of Catholic saints, but lethally elevates their names to be on a par with God's most high name to not be misused. That too has led people into an idolatrous view of his sinful creation, including Mary.

Mary is "the All-Holy One" in Catholicism

BTW, Catholicism also wrongly teaches Mary was sinless, in contrast to God's word says:

493 The Fathers of the Eastern tradition call the Mother of God "the All-Holy" (Panagia), and celebrate her as "free from any stain of sin, as though fashioned by the Holy Spirit and formed as a new creature". By the grace of God Mary remained free of every personal sin her whole life long. (CCC 493)

2677 Holy Mary, Mother of God: With Elizabeth we marvel, "And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" Because she gives us Jesus, her son, Mary is Mother of God and our mother; we can entrust all our cares and petitions to her: she prays for us as she prayed for herself: "Let it be to me according to your word." By entrusting ourselves to her prayer, we abandon ourselves to the will of God together with her: "Thy will be done."

Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death: By asking Mary to pray for us, we acknowledge ourselves to be poor sinners and we address ourselves to the "Mother of Mercy," the All-Holy One. We give ourselves over to her now, in the Today of our lives. And our trust broadens further, already at the present moment, to surrender "the hour of our death" wholly to her care. May she be there as she was at her son's death on the cross. May she welcome us as our mother at the hour of our passing to lead us to her son, Jesus, in paradise. (CCC 2677)

The exaltation of Mary, as demonstrated above, is in direct opposition to God's word, for God alone is the Holy One (Isa. 1:4; Ezek. 39:7; Hos. 11:9; etc.), and we should never pray to Mary. Scripture also states the following attribute about God:

Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For YOU ALONE ARE HOLY. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed. (Rev 15:4)

Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD-- that YOU ALONE ARE THE MOST HIGH over all the earth. (Psa 83:18)

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Rom 3:23)

If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives. (1 John 1:10)

For the Catholic magisterium to claim Mary has never sinned is to call God a liar and to show his word has no place in their lives, based on 1 John 1:10. Mary was not sinless and our trust and hope must not be in her for anything, especially our soul's salvation. We must have a trusting and submitting faith in the PRECIOUS Lord Jesus, the Savior. That means 100% trust and submissive faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and 0% in Mary, the sacraments and being a Catholic.

According to the Bible, eternal life is much more than just the gift of God (Rom. 6:23) and a present tense possession (Jn 6:47; 1 Jn 5:11-13). Eternal life is also a hope (Titus 3:7) yet to be reaped (Gal. 6:8,9), in the age to come (Mk. 10:30) for only the ones who persist in doing good (Rom. 2:7) and don't grow weary and give up sowing to please the Spirit (Gal. 6:9)! Eternal life is also a promise for the Christians who hold on to the gospel truth they heard from the beginning to remain in Christ and the Father (1 Jn. 2:24-26).

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (1 Cor. 6:9-11, NASB)

How to Break Out of Prison - Only One Way Can Lead To Freedom From One's Personal Prison Says Evangelical Outreach And Its Holiness Preaching

Freedom can be defined in many ways. The dictionary defines freedom as "liberation from slavery or restraint or from the power of another". Another definition is "the quality of being exempt or released usually from something onerous". While freedom can be defined in many ways, there is one form of freedom that supercedes all others. It will allow one to experience total freedom, whether it be from a physical prison or from any kind of personal prison. Dan Corner, Director of Evangelical Outreach explains:

If you or someone you know is in prison and want to break free, here is a surefire way to escape that will ALWAYS work, regardless of the obstacles; but, they must sincerely be willing to escape. Don't waste your time with razor blades, files, hacksaws, bribery or even dynamite. (Shortly I'll tell you about a special type of dynamite.) Don't even think about getting hostages or doing a helicopter land in the prison yard, as some have done in the past. Those methods are all ineffective and completely useless in this prison system, compared to the real way to escape! The remedy I have for you is much more powerful, quicker and quieter too, but to help other prisoners escape too, you'll need something sharper than a sword! (More about that and how to get one shortly.)

This remedy will work even in the toughest maximum security prisons, under the heaviest armed guard in solitary confinement and even for those people on death row. Such circumstances are really not a problem at all. In fact, what I'm about to divulge has already gotten many prisoners free over the years, though this knowledge is heavily suppressed by the authorities. Surely you can understand why this knowledge (in its pure form) is not commonly known, though there are many cheap counterfeits which don’t work at all. Again, freedom must be in its pure form, without adding to or taking away from it. Be aware: the evil principalities want the prisoners confined behind their bars and to stay there for life, but they can't stop you from breaking free, if you truly act upon the pure remedy.

This is not guess work, but an absolute guarantee, and no one will have to smuggle anything into your jail cell! The chains and cuffs will soon come off without any metal key, as soon as you're ready. It's up to you to decide the timing. You will not need any accomplice or getaway vehicle to flee from prison to safety to go into hiding until things cool down. You can break free today, right after you read this and learn how. In fact, the sooner the better – do NOT delay!

Be sure to read this out loud and don't worry if the prison guards, chaplains, spiritual leaders, police, judges, lawyers or even the prison warden himself learn the way too. In most cases, they need this information too, though they are not behind the kind of prison bars you are. Hopefully, it will not fall on deaf ears. So don't be quiet about this. Be as loud and vocal as you can. If you can somehow get up to the prison housetop, shout it from roof tops to the people. Even the armed guards in the watchtowers need it too. If you can't get to the house top, spread it all around the prison yard and don't hesitate – get the Word out ASAP. The need is so great. The prisoners need to be freed regardless of their sentence and how many times they were denied a retrial. Let's take a brief look at the past.

Famous Prison Breaks

Let’s reminisce for a minute or two. Some of the most noteworthy prison escapes by prisoners who were never recaptured again are from:

* Alcatraz (the Rock) in June 1962 amidst the waters of the San Francisco Bay by escapees Frank Morris, Allen West, and brothers Clarence and John Anglin.

* Waterloo Prison Camp, Michigan in 1969 by Jerry Bergevin.

* Clinton Correctional Facility for Women, New Jersey by Joanne Chesimard in 1978.

Oh prisoners, listen to me. Their ingenious plans to escape to freedom are nothing compared to the one I know that will absolutely work for you. Note, I said "ONE", for there is only one way to escape the horrible confinement of your personal prison house to get real freedom. All prisoners everywhere – worldwide – should be set free, and this WILL work for them too regardless of their crimes and religious background.

Did you notice the above listing cites both male and female prisoners who have escaped man's prison house and cleverly eluded recapture to the attention and amazement of the authorities? Those escapees I just mentioned were not really free though. So don't envy them. They were still in a type of prison and terribly bound by their chains and addictions, although they got out. Their horrible slavery and invisible chains remained until their death, unless somehow they learned of "the way" I want you to know about. This is so powerful, believe it or not, even a hardened jailer from centuries ago learned of the same way, and he and his whole house became filled with joy afterwards! Yes, it is true.

The way to escape is not actually knowledge itself, but sort of. "The way" is actually a person. In fact, he's a King, who after being sentenced to death, died in shame like a criminal between two others. One criminal who died by the King found freedom as he was dying, and the King himself told him he was going to Paradise, which is in the third heaven! The King not only knows how to get there, he himself is THE WAY in (Jn. 14:6); he even came from Paradise to help us get there too, but we must follow the King's directives closely.

A man named Paul summed up this good news in these words, "I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus" (Acts 20:21). Paul himself spent much time in man's prison house for proclaiming and defending that same vital message. Imagine that! Oh how our arch enemy, the devil, hates that good news (gospel), and he has offered many worthless counterfeits to deceive people who want to go to Paradise, but are on the wrong road. So, be alert to the devil’s counterfeits.

The King and PRECIOUS Lord Jesus said: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels” (Luke 9:23-26).

Jesus also told people he had a spiritual yoke for us to wear much like oxen, or other animals in the natural have, that would be working in a field and pulling a burden:

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Matt. 11:29-30).

People who have repented (and become Christians) are described as follows:

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires (Gal. 5:24).

To turn from your wickedness, which is dragging you to a fiery hell, and to wisely choose to submissively place Jesus' yoke upon yourself to follow and serve him is equated to believing on Jesus. This way is also the same as getting born again. When a person is born again, he is also forgiven of all of his sins and set free from the sin addictions he was a slave to (John 8:34-36; Rom. 6:22). In particular, it is contact with Jesus' cleansing, precious blood (Rev. 1:5; 1 Pet. 1:19; 1 John 1:7) that brings this new creation (2 Cor. 5:17) miracle about.

NOTE: You will never find rest for your soul until you come to Jesus on his terms. But there is another part to the question, what is the gospel of Jesus Christ: Jesus taught that you must turn from sin (repent) or you will perish in hell's fire:

But unless you repent, you too will all perish (Luke 13:3).

Getting born again occurs at the point of a trusting-and-submitting faith in Jesus for personal salvation, which includes repentance. All 100% of our trust must be in mankind's only Savior, who is Jesus, in order to have salvation (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; etc.). (The Gospel is the power of God, the dynamite – dunamis, Greek. – of God, Rom. 1:16.) Again, Jesus must be the sole focus of our faith. Many have, unfortunately, been deceived into lethally trusting church membership, water baptism, Mary, Saturday Sabbath keeping, Lodge membership, wearing the brown scapular, etc., for salvation. Others are trusting partly in Jesus and partly in something or someone else for their salvation. These people have also been dangerously misled. If you are a backslider, repent to reverse your spiritually dead and lost condition (Lk. 15:24 cf. James 5:19-20; Rom. 11:20-23).

Examples of final salvation verses are shown here:

Our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed (Rom. 13:11).

All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved (Matt. 10:22).

Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to” (Luke 13:23, 24).

Remember 2 Cor. 4:16-18. The word of God is sharper than any double-edge sword (Heb. 4:12). See also Eph. 6:17. Share this message with others. God bless you.

Many Biblical scholars also believe that St Paul of Tarsus quotes bits of early Christian hymns in his epistles." "We will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up";
They were willing to go to their death and told that to the king close-up.

If you are going to endure to the end you must, like them, conquer your fears.

Threatened by the blazing furnace the three Hebrews stood true;
It takes determined people like them to be of the chosen few.
If you were there too and threatened with death over the same;
Would you buckle, then later bow your head in tearful shame?

During the last generation, when the Antichrist is here;
If you are alive then, your ultimate test will be near.
If you worship his image and take the mark of the beast;
That will cause your eternal salvation to quickly cease.

To be tormented with burning sulfur means, one is surely lost;
To get final salvation you must die pure in heart and count the cost.
You might have to pay with your life, as martyrs have been many;
On the other hand, unfaithful apostates have also been plenty.
[Mt. 5:8; Rev. 21:27; Mt. 24:10; etc.]

You must remain faithful to Jesus to not be hurt by the second death;
That means to the very end of your life -- to your very last breath.
Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection;
Don't fear those who kill the body, but God's ominous rejection.
[Rev. 2:10,11; Rev. 20:6; Mt. 10:28; 25:41]

The final overcomers will not receive the mark of the beast;
Regardless how or when, one day your physical life will cease.
First and foremost and above all else, you must make it in;
Nothing is worth going to the fiery lake - no person or sin.
[Rev 20:4; Rev. 21:1-8]

Know that both your words and actions are powerful and clear;
Though your heart is unseen, they reveal if you are true and sincere.
If you become an idolater to take the mark so you can buy or sell;
Into the fiery lake of burning sulfur you will go to eternally dwell.
[Mt. 12:37; Rev. 13:15-17 cf. Rev. 19:20; 14:9-12]

To overcome you must not love your life to shrink from death;
It's most important you are faithful to God till your last breath.
If you have to stand alone when everyone else falls away;
Be faithful to the true and living God and do not, him, betray.
[Rev. 12:11; Rev. 2:10,11; Heb. 3:14]

It's home in Paradise or fiery torment in the hot burning lake;
It's one or the other so whatever happens do not God, forsake.
Entering the holy New Jerusalem one blessed day;
Is surely worth any price you might have to pay.
[Rev. 21:1-8; 2 Chronicles 15:2; Phil. 1:21,23]

Your vital testimony of Jesus plays a salvation part too;
Like the three courageous Hebrews, you must remain true.
The Antichrist himself will be thrown into the fiery lake;
Never take the mark of the Beast, for your very soul is at stake!
[Rev. 20:4; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 19:20; Rev. 14:9-12]

God's Truth On The Roman Catholic Church, The True Church And Peter The Rock

Catholicism teaches Jesus founded the Catholic Church on Peter the first Pope and Evangelical Outreach, EOMIN.org, carefully examines that claim

Is the Roman Catholic Church the true Church based on the Christian New Testament? This is the ultimate spiritual authority question, for if it is valid we should all become Roman Catholics. Conversely, if their claim is debunked, then present day Catholics should leave that counterfeit religious system. Which is it? Dan Corner, Director of Evangelical Outreach, recently has this to say in response to that question:

Over 1 billion people in our day believe Roman Catholicism is the one true church founded by the Lord Jesus Christ and built upon Peter (the bishop of Rome), the first pope. The focus of that teaching comes from Mt. 16:18,19, but is that really what it is saying?

Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Mt. 16:16-19)

Fact 1: "Peter" (petros in Greek is masculine), while "rock" (petra is feminine). Also, petros means a stone or boulder, while petra means a mass of rock, which is much different. That alone shows Peter could not be the "rock" upon which the church was built.

So what is the "rock"? It goes back to Peter's confession about Jesus' identity - "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God", which was revealed to him by the heavenly Father. The "rock" is (the truth that) Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, and the son of the living God.

Fact 2: Peter was not uniquely given the "keys of the kingdom of heaven" (Mt. 16:19). Those "keys" are for binding and loosing, which the other disciples also had the ability to do:

I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Mt. 18:18)

That message was spoken to the "disciples" [plural] (Mt. 18:1). Hence, Peter did not uniquely get the "keys". Those undeniable facts negate the solitary, authoritative claim Rome has given itself, but there is even more to note.

Fact 3: If Peter were made the head of the apostles, why didn't the other apostles know it? Such is apparent as they were arguing amongst themselves over who was the greatest (Lk. 9:46; 22:24)? Why didn't Jesus correct them by saying that he made Peter the greatest, if he really had? Even Peter viewed himself as a fellow elder, like those he addressed (1 Pet. 5:1); the apostle John addressed himself in the same manner (2 John 1).

Fact 4: Why didn't Peter preside over the important Jerusalem Church Council related to salvation for the Gentiles, if he uniquely had the "keys" and was made the "rock" upon which Jesus would build his church (Acts 15:6-30)?

Fact 5: Why is Peter only one of the reputed "pillars" instead of being the only one or, at the very least, the pillar listed first? The order is "James, Peter and John" (Gal. 2:9) showing the other two men are at least equal in authority to Peter, further debunking Peter’s primacy.

Facts 6: How could Paul not be behind the chiefest of the apostles (2 Cor. 12:11), if Peter was indeed the chief and visible head of the church?

Fact 7: How could Jesus state John the Baptist was the greatest born of woman (Mt. 11:11), implying that John was greater that Peter (and Mary)?

Fact 8: The Apostle Paul openly opposed the Apostle Peter because Peter was in the wrong (Gal. 2:11-14). Paul would never have openly opposed the Apostle Peter if he were the supreme, visible head of the church, while Paul himself occupied a lesser church office than Peter. This single incident alone also shows it is impossible for the Apostle Peter to have been the head of the church.

Fact 9: Peter was a married man (Mt. 8:14; 1 Cor. 9:5); so, why don't the popes, if they share in the same office, have a wife like Peter did?

Facts 10: There is no church office of Pope. Therefore, the alleged papacy and papal infallibility itself are mere empty claims. The real church offices are: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers (Eph 4:11), but no pope anywhere in the New Testament.

Nor is there any scriptural evidence of subsequent popes after Peter (known as apostolic succession). Ordaining others via the laying on of hands could not have applied to such a non-existent church office. This statement also includes Pope Boniface VIII and his famous Unam Sanctam decree of 1302. That Ex Cathedra (infallible) decree stating that one must be in submission to the Roman Pontiff in order to have salvation is meaningless, as are the other 100+ anathemas that the Council of Trent (1545 to 1563) has placed on all non-Catholics.

Fact 11: How could "Pope" Honorius I (625-638), after his death, be both anathematized as and branded as a heretic by a different Catholic Pope, at one of their own church councils, the Third Council of Constantinople in 680, the thirteenth and sixteenth sessions? How could the College of Cardinals elect Honorius I in the first place to be their pope, if they were led by the Holy Spirit?

Fact 12: If Peter really were a Pope like those in our hour (Pope John Paul II, etc.), how could Peter have neglected to mention Mary in both of his epistles (1, 2 Peter), as well as, in all of his salvation sermons cited in the Book of Acts? FYI: Pope John Paul II’s personal motto was "I am completely yours, Mary", and he frequently spoke of her, which is extremely typical for all popes. Folks, Peter was right; Mary has absolutely no role in our salvation whatsoever. Remember Luke 11:27-28.

The Roman Catholic church declares itself to be "The Church" with the ultimate, spiritual authority of the one true church, but its claims are completely unfounded and they even violently clash with God's word. The evidence shows the Catholic magisterium is untrustworthy and has misled multitudes of precious sincere souls, who have believed their teachings and their "approved" Marian apparitions. It remains the sincere Godly desire of multitudes of Christians, especially ex Catholics, for Catholics to let the New Testament inform them. We must all turn from sin and place 100% of our trust and faith in the PRECIOUS Lord Jesus Christ alone for our soul's salvation. Folks, faithfully and unashamedly follow and serve Jesus till death to enter God's kingdom (Acts 20:21 cf. 26:20; Lk. 9:26; Heb. 3:14). Such is the true saving faith in the PRECIOUS Lord Jesus, which will get you into Paradise after death.

The sacraments, Mary, and being a Catholic cannot save anyone. Final spiritual authority is the scriptures (the Bible); God's written word is the Christian's spiritual authority (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Scripture shows one must sincerely turn from idols and other sins (1 Cor. 6:9-11; Gal. 5:19-21; Rev. 21:8; etc.) and obediently follow Jesus in order to have eternal life in God's kingdom and escape the lake of fire (Lk. 8:21; 2 Cor. 7:10; 1 Thess. 1:9; Lk. 11:27-28; 1 John 5:12-13; Rev. 20:15; etc.). Jesus is our true "life, sweetness and hope"- not Mary, as openly declared in the Rosary – yet another violation of Jesus' teachings (Mt. 6:6-8). Remember you are 100% safe to go by the Bible alone. Don't take a chance with your SOUL. This is for ETERNITY. [Pass this on to another.]

KJV Onlyism – The Unacknowledged Facts Offered About "God's Only Bible", That Is, The Christian King James Bible Translations

Evangelical Outreach, EOMIN.org proclaims and defends the Christian Gospel against various forms of religious deceptions, including the KJV Only Cult.

It has been said that much can be lost in the translation. Nowhere is this more true than in the ongoing controversy that surrounds the King James version of the Bible. According to Wikipedia, there are 5 main classifications of the King James Only movement. All take slightly different paths, one even claiming that the KJV version is a "new revelation." This is an extremely important issue for Christians who must necessarily adhere to the truth, not opinion. Dan Corner, Director of Evangelical Outreach, recently had this to say:

Is the King James Only belief credible? Is the King James Version (KJV) the one and only Word of God or is that an extreme distortion, even a severe stumbling-block to others?

The truth is: the real Word of God is the actual writings first recorded in Hebrew and Greek from Genesis through Revelation. Because most people cannot read Hebrew and Greek, the need existed to translate the existent manuscripts accurately into the languages of the different peoples worldwide. Hence, there are translations of the Bible into many different languages from Chinese to Spanish to French to English, etc.

As far as an English translation of the Bible, the 1611 King James Version is one of the best known, but it was not the first English translation, nor is it what it has been commonly presented to be – far from it! The comprehension problems for KJV users are not going to go away. In other words, the KJV translation, with its archaic wording, is incomprehensible, frustrating, misleading, has bred ignorance of God's word and is a primary reason why so many professing Christians have never even made it through the New Testament despite, in some cases, decades of church attendance.

Some examples of these archaic expressions are vain janglings (1 Tim. 1:6), superfluity of naughtiness (James 1:21), and abusers of themselves with mankind (1 Cor. 6:9), etc. Despite the many problems with the KJV, some people continue to obstinately present the KJV as God's one and only Bible, the perfect translation, the only inspired word of God and the like, thereby setting it on a pedestal far above all other translations, regardless of the impossible-to-understand language.

Again, the most glaring problem with the KJV is the strange wording. The terms are so unusual in today’s world that many will never see those words again. In contrast to the hundreds of such bewildering KJV terms, the KJV Onlyite's outlandish propaganda is that even a 12 year old child can understand it! That is one of the biggest untruths about the KJV in our day. Reality is, even decades-long KJV preachers, do not know the meaning of those words, and they consult the modern reputable translations for their meanings, often sneak-reading these other easier translations. They need a translation of the KJV just to understand it. The situation is bad enough, but far worse for new converts struggling to learn God's truths about salvation and the Christian life.

The comprehension factor alone is more than enough to set the KJV aside in favor of the modern reputable translations, but there are other problems as well. The god represented by the KJV “repents of evil doing” from Ex. 32:12-14 to Amos 7:3 to Jonah 3:10 for hundreds of years. If the KJV were Holy Spirit inspired or perfect, as claimed, such inaccuracy, blasphemous really, would not be in it. God is perfect and holy and has never needed to repent, because he can never commit any evil to repent of.

The aforementioned examples are death blows to KJV Onlyism, but to cite three more serious problems, the King James translation further: (1) teaches that Noah was "saved by water" (1 Pet. 3:20), that is, the flood waters rather than the ark itself (which has been exploited by the baptism-is-necessary-for-salvation people); (2) misrepresents the Lord Jesus as being "slew" before getting nailed to the cross (Acts 5:30; 10:39). Not only does the KJV cite the term "slew" to mean kill as in David "slew" Goliath (1 Sam. 17:50-51; etc.), but also, in the book of Acts, "slew" is used to communicate kill, as happened to the Martyr Stephen (Acts 22:20); (3) and, finally, the Holy Spirit is presented as an inanimate thing by the pronoun "itself" instead of the more appropriate and accurate “himself” to reflect personhood (Romans 8:16; 8:26, KJV). These errors have helped the Jehovah's Witness to spread their errant dogma that the Holy Spirit is a mere force likened unto a radar beam.

The bold, aggressive and misinformed KJV Onlyites also insist others cite Bible verses and preach solely from the KJV. Beyond that, they will emotionally attack the sincerest and most God fearing Christians, who reject the KJV. If you are a KJV Onlyite, what are you defending – your pride and an archaic error-ridden translation which YOU cannot even understand and yet are trying to force on everyone else? How could the usage of the KJV correctly become the basis of your Christian fellowship? Has the KJV become an idol and stumbling-block to you?

Folks, do not allow pressure from the KJV camp to hinder your comprehension of God's word anymore. Be assured, the Word of God existed before 1611. Read a modern reputable translations and do not allow the KJV Onlyites to belittle you for wanting to know what scripture is saying or teaching from a better, easier-to-understand translation than theirs. (Save this teaching and pass it on to others.)

The Jesus Is Michael Teaching Is Deceptive And Not A Christian Teaching Says Evangelical Outreach

The Jehovah's Witnesses and Seven Day Adventists have been misled and are leading others astray.

According to an article found on the Institute For Religious Research entitled, "Is Jesus Michael the archangel?" a piece in April 1 2010 Watchtower addressed the question "Is Jesus the Archangel Michael?" The response, as presented in the article, was "Put simply, the answer is yes…. Jesus Christ is Michael the archangel…. So Michael the archangel is Jesus in his prehuman existence. After his resurrection and return to heaven, Jesus resumed his service as Michael, the chief angel, 'to the glory of God the Father.” Dan Corner, Director of Evangelical Outreach, recently had this to say:

To learn the real identity of Michael the archangel is very important for millions of people. Why? Because the Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists both wrongly believe and insist that Michael the archangel is Jesus Christ! While the Seventh Day Adventists believe Michael is deity, the Jehovah's Witnesses adamantly oppose the deity of Christ, even denying Jesus was ever prayed to or worshiped!

Michael the archangel is only referred to on five different occasions throughout the entire Bible:

But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. (Dan. 10:13)

(NOTE: Michael is but just one of the archangels – one of the "chief princes".)

But first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince. (Dan 10:21)

At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. (Dan. 12:1)

But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!" (Jude 1:9)

And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. (Rev 12:7)

Additionally, the word archangel is only found one time besides Jude 9:

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. (1 Thess. 4:16)

Which archangel is coming down from heaven is unclear since there are more than one. It might not even be Michael. Furthermore, we must logically conclude from 1 Thess. 4:16 that if Jesus’ coming with the voice of an archangel makes him an archangel, then Jesus is a trumpet too, because he is also coming with the trumpet call of God.

This is all the Jehovah's Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists got! Nothing shows Jesus to be Michael the archangel; nonetheless, some have distorted those verses to concoct their “Jesus is Michael” fantasy to the detriment of souls. Again, Michael is just one of the chief princes and a warring angel.

As for who Jesus is, consider the clarity of this:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made”. (John 1:1-3)

Col. 1:16 shows Jesus created everything visible and invisible, including all the angels, in heaven and earth. So before coming to earth Jesus was called "the Word," who created even Michael the archangel. After ascending up to heaven he is still called Jesus:

"Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked. "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. (Acts 9:5)

"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star." (Rev. 22:16)

Rev. 22:16 further demolishes the twisting of Rev. 1:1 to portray Jesus as an angel. (Rev. 1:1 states, “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He [Jesus] made it known by sending his angel to his servant John.”)

Jesus is never identified as Michael at any time. Likewise, various New Testament writers identified the Lord Jesus by nearly 100 names and titles, each one demonstrating Jesus’ spiritual attributes and significance, and Michael is not any of them. [By the way, the humanity of Jesus does not cancel out his deity any more than his being the Good Shepherd cancels out his being the Lamb of God.]

"Let all God's angels worship him [Jesus]." (Heb. 1:6). So, even Michael the archangel worships Jesus! Moreover, Hebrews 1 showcases Jesus’ deity and majesty, and it lists 8 ways that Jesus is superior to the angels, which includes Michael.

Furthermore, Jesus repeatedly received worship on earth (Mt. 14:33; 28:9, 17, etc.), yet angels never receive worship. When John, awed by heaven’s splendor, fell at the angel’s feet to worship him, the angel stiffly rebuked him, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.” (Rev. 19:9-10; See also 22:8-9). In contrast, Jesus receives equal praise and worship with the Father in heaven:

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped. (Rev. 5:13-14)

Moreover, Jesus is prayed to unlike angels:

While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." (Acts 7:59) Others in the early church also prayed to Jesus (Acts 9:14; 1 Cor. 1:2; etc.), but Jehovah's Witnesses refuse to.

If Jesus were Michael the archangel, he should not have been prayed to and worshiped, and yet Jesus was both. The early Christians followed and trusted exclusively in Jesus for salvation, and they received eternal life through him (Mt. 11:28-30; Acts 16:30-31; 7:59; Jn. 3:16; 10:27; 1 Pet. 2:6; 1 Jn. 5:12; etc.). In fact, Jesus is Eternal Life (1 Jn. 1:2).

None of the details about Michael can be logically connected to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Jehovah's Witnesses’ teaching that Jesus is Michael the archangel is mythical and pure religious fantasy.

The proof is clear and overwhelming; though the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists teach that Jesus is Michael the archangel, they do so in violation and neglect of the scriptural evidence. To teach Jesus Christ is Michael the archangel not only downgrades the PRECIOUS Lord Jesus and robs him of his majesty and deity, but it also constitutes serious and lethal error concerning the plan of salvation, to the harm of precious souls.

The Attack On Grace By Eternal Security Teachers And Catholicism Offer Christians A Distorted View Of The Path To Salvation And How To Get To Heaven Says Evangelical Outreach

Evangelical Outreach, EOMIN.org proclaims and defends the Christian Gospel against various forms of religious deceptions.

Throughout the history of Christianity, the concept of grace has often been misunderstood. What grace is and how to get it is a salvation issue since one is saved by grace. This Heaven or Hell related subject must be carefully examined with scripture. Besides Roman Catholicism the Once Saved Always Saved teachers are the main problems with their false grace teachings. Author and evangelist Dan Corner has this to say:

The biblical term grace has been distorted from different fronts, which has lethally confused salvation itself. Since a Christian is saved and justified by grace (Eph. 2:8,9; Tit. 3:7), to change what grace is or how to get it, is an assault on how to become saved.

Unwittingly, even the utility companies mention a grace period, when one doesn't pay his bill on time. Along with all the religious attacks, that has also aided in the misunderstanding that grace is unmerited favor instead of favor, as the Greek word actually means.

If grace were unmerited favor, then everyone would get saving grace, which is surely not true for the proud and unbelieving. It takes humility to get God's grace, while the proud are opposed (1 Pet. 5:5). It also takes a faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to get in grace (Rom. 5:2), but that same faith can afterwards cease to exist (Lk. 8:13; 1Tim. 1:19; 2 Tim. 2:18; Rom. 11:20-23). If it were not necessary to have a submissive faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation by grace, then Universalism would be true, which is impossible (Mt. 13:41,42; 25:46; 2 Pet.3:9; Jude 7; etc.).

The grace changers (Jude 4) of our day are the Eternal Security (or Once Saved Always Saved) teachers, who have equated their fraudulent doctrine to grace, and thereby automatically attempt to discount all opposing views as something else, such as a work's salvation, legalism or cult. Also, their once in grace always in grace belief is demolished by Gal. 5:2-4, which shows a Christian can fall from grace to the place where Christ is of no value at all, meaning he no longer has salvation.

From a totally different angle, Catholicism attacks grace by teaching Mary is the mediatrix and dispenser of all graces and “to Jesus through Mary”, meaning we get to Jesus by first going to Mary. In contrast, Jesus taught us to come directly to him (Mt. 11:28; Jn. 5:40; 7:37; etc.). The Catholic view is also disproved by the repentant thief, who bypassed Mary at the foot of the cross and successfully went to Jesus and was saved (Lk. 23:42,43).

Catholicism also teaches grace comes through their sacraments with babies getting born again at infant baptism. If that were true then infants, who can't repent or have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, would get saving grace, which is impossible.

The result of these ongoing attacks on grace have resulted in multitudes being lethally deceived about salvation and the holy image of Christians being smeared. In reality, God's grace teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age (Titus 2:12). True grace does not allow for wickedness, and the gospel of grace includes a conditional security for the believer in Christ (1 Cor. 15:2; Col. 1:23).

The counterfeit grace has deceitfully allowed for Christian drunks, adulterers, thieves, liars, etc. with no one living holy and obediently, as Christians do (Lk. 8:21; Phil. 2:12; Heb. 5:9; 1 John 2:3,4; etc.). The prevalent counterfeit grace teachings have produced millions of counterfeit Christians. Remember, God is not holding and keeping Christians to the place where we can't turn away and die spiritually (Rom. 8:12; James 1:14,15; 5:19,20; etc.), getting back on the road to hell again, as has happened to many.

True salvation by grace includes humble repentance (turning from sin) and a submissive faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to the place of unashamedly following, serving and obeying him. Salvation by grace is gained without Mary or water baptism, and it is not unmerited favor. We have eternal life as long as we have Jesus (1 Jn.5:12,13), which can change (Mt. 10:33; Jn. 15:1-6; Rom. 11:20-23; Rev. 3:16; etc.).

Jesus taught to make every effort to enter through the narrow door (Luke 13:24), while the spurious say, “make no effort because that is works and legalism”. Obedience is not legalism. We must continue to sow to please the Spirit and not give up to reap eternal life (Gal. 6:8,9; Rom. 2:7) and to endure hatred to the end for salvation's sake (Mt. 10:22; Heb. 3:14; Rev. 2:10,11). UFO Sightings, Alien Encounters, Aliens On Earth, Christianity And The Bible - Integrating The Mysteries of Science With The Laws Of God

Science and spirituality have been at odds for centuries. While some say modern day discoveries have rendered God obsolete, common sense dictates that everything that exists in the universe is a manifestation of the Creator.

Almost daily we are besieged by stories about UFO's and aliens. They come from all over the world. For decades television shows such as The X Files, Stargate, Star Trek and Ancient Aliens topped the charts. Hundreds of movies and documentaries have made many millions of dollars at the box office. The public is utterly enthralled - fascinated - with stories about life beyond planet Earth and what it might mean. While there are many points of view, some say the existence of alien life is proof that God does not exist. Dan Corner, Director of Evangelical Outreach had this to say:

Can a belief in both God and aliens be maintained? Is a belief in aliens compatible with Christianity? Many credible witnesses from around the globe claim sightings of UFOs. Some of the major sightings are: the Phoenix Lights flying saucer incident, the Westall, Australia Mass UFO in 1966, and the 1995 occurrence in Zimbabwe where 62 children saw a UFO and a couple of aliens.

There have been numerous, corroborated reports of intricately designed crop circles around the world, bloodless cattle mutilations with surgical precision as well as human abductions and mutilations. Some examples, among many, that have leaked out of UFO news are: an unidentified Brazilian man in 1988; Jonathan Lovette from White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico in 1956, and Todd Sees from Pennsylvania who was abducted by a UFO and murdered in 2002 and whose boot was found in the top of a tree! Another was the Russian Dyatlov Pass event, where the Soviet authorities reported the horribly mutilated bodies of skiers to be the result of an “unknown compelling force”. If the reports of these horrifically gruesome mutilations are true, then at least some aliens visiting our planet are dangerously hostile to mankind.

Furthermore, if intelligent alien life were verified, nothing about the Biblical message would change. Jesus of Nazareth remains the Lord of Lords. His redemptive death on the cross is still the only hope to be freed from sin addictions and the sole way for mankind to find peace with God.

Nonetheless, John Lear (son of the inventor of the Lear Jet) conjectured as to what the government, if it divulged its information, would reveal about aliens, when he made the following comments:

“We found out that we (humans) are the experiment or product, if you will, of an alien race, who we never met ……..” and ... ‘At this point it became apparent to all involved that there was no such thing as a God, at least as the public perceives God. Certainly some kind of computer recorder stores information, and an occasional miracle is displayed by the aliens to influence a religious event’.

Yet, others have notions about aliens intervening and saving the world from a future nuclear holocaust, thereby making extraterrestrials the "savior of mankind."

Such spiritual conjecture, by the likes of John Lear, Erich Von Daniken and others in the UFO community, is spiritual poison. I had a conversation with a man who told me a belief in aliens and UFO’s refutes the Bible. When I asked him why, he had no answer. He must have taken at face value what he heard from government “experts” or others without question. I assured him the Bible does allow for the possibility of intelligent life on another planet (Rev. 10:6).

False religious doctrines, which attack Christian beliefs, have been mixed in with general information about UFOs and aliens to our spiritual harm. The devil is active in deceiving people spiritually.

The father of lies (Jn. 8:44) can masquerade as an angel of God (2 Cor. 11:14) and even perform miracles (Ex. 7:10-11; 2 Thess. 2:9-10; Rev. 16:14). The devil can also come as an alien to deceive people.

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. (2 Thess. 2:9-10)

Following are some notions of the “alien gospel”: the human race was designed and created by aliens; earth is an alien laboratory; the giants of Noah’s day in Genesis 6 were really the offspring of aliens and humans; Ezekiel's wheel was a UFO; evolution and Darwin are highly spoken of; Jesus' ascension was really him being beamed up into a spaceship; God is not a person but a force or energy, aliens know our thoughts and communicate with humans via telepathy; miracles are from aliens, not God, and finally, God doesn’t exist.

The alien gospel is disproven by God's Word: God is our protecter (Psa. 5:11-12; 18:2,3; 116:6; Prov. 2:6-8; Rom 8:31; etc.), not aliens; souls don't transfer from person to person -- they go to fiery torment or Paradise after death based on heart purity through faith in Jesus Christ (Jn. 5:29; Mt. 7:13,14; Rom. 2:6-11; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; Rev. 21:1-8 cf. Mt. 5:8; Acts 15:9,11); God knows our motives and deepest thoughts (Psa. 94:11; 1 Cor. 4:5; etc.) -- not aliens. Furthermore, the Lord Jesus Christ and his apostles endorsed Adam's creation, as cited in Genesis, thereby refuting this poisonous alien gospel: The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven (1 Cor. 15:47) and, “For Adam was formed first, then Eve” (1 Tim 2:13).

How then should we view Gen. 3:20 where it says Eve is the mother of all the living? All that verse is saying is that Eve is the mother of humanity without mentioning life on other planets.

Related Bible verses against the dangerous alien gospel: You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples (Psa. 77:14). Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard? (Gal 3:5).

IF aliens do exist and are reporting false religious information, they are either lying or just mistaken; there is no reason to accept them as moral or factual creatures just because they may be more intelligent and advanced than we are.

IF aliens do exist, then God created them too: "And he swore by him [God] who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it..." (Rev. 10:6).

Finally, UFOlogists have concealed the many testimonies of "aliens" which have disappeared upon being resisted and rebuked in Jesus' name.

Otra definición espiritualmente más precisa de la magia (hechicería) sería asociarse con espíritus demoníacos y las fuerzas de la oscuridad para intentar satisfacer los deseos humanos lujuriosos de poder, riqueza y placer.

De hecho, la Biblia no hace distinción alguna entre la magia blanca y la negra y nos dice que tengamos cuidado con todas las formas de magia y brujería. ¡No consulte a brujas, magos, hechiceros, adivinos, médiums, adivinos y nigromantes! ¡No tenga nada que ver con la quiromancia, la lectura de hojas de té, la lectura de cartas del tarot, la lectura de cristales, las tablas ouija, la astrología, los horóscopos o la magia blanca o negra en cualquier forma! Dios es celoso; Debemos buscarlo a él y sólo a él. Él también es un Dios de prueba, y cuando las pruebas y las aflicciones dolorosas nos llegan a los cristianos (como lo hacen a todos), nuestra fe se está probando y refinando. Debemos acudir a Dios y su Palabra en busca de ayuda, guía y fortaleza, no a nuestro enemigo, el diablo y las fuerzas de la oscuridad.

En la película, El mago de Oz, promocionada como una película familiar, es la bella Glinda, la Buena bruja del Norte, quien ayuda y protege a Dorothy y sus amigos de la malvada bruja del Oeste. Cuando Dorothy se encuentra con Glinda por primera vez, exclama: "¡Pensé que las brujas eran feas!" Glinda, la bruja "buena" le explica a Dorothy que solo las malas brujas son feas. Si alguien desea envenenarte, la mejor manera de desprevenirte es disfrazar y endulzar el veneno.

Queridos amigos, no crean en todos los espíritus, pero evalúen a los espíritus para ver si son de Dios, porque muchos falsos profetas han salido al mundo. (1 Jn. 4: 1)

Nuevamente, la Biblia no hace distinción entre la magia blanca y la negra y condena la práctica de todas las artes mágicas, incluso si aparentemente se ayuda a las personas en lo natural (pero se destruyen espiritualmente).

"Y no es de extrañar, porque el mismo Satanás se disfraza de ángel de luz. No es sorprendente, entonces, si sus siervos se disfrazan de siervos de justicia". (2 Cor. 11: 14-15)

El apóstol Pablo arrojó una fortuna a un demonio de una niña diciendo: "En el nombre de Jesucristo, te ordeno que salgas de ella" (Hechos 16: 16-18). ¡Cuando el demonio se fue, su habilidad para predecir el futuro también desapareció! Reiterar, consultar un medio de orientación es mostrarse infiel a Dios:

"Saúl murió porque le fue infiel al SEÑOR; no guardó la palabra del SEÑOR e incluso consultó a un médium para que lo guiara" (1 Crón. 10:13).

También se debe tener en cuenta que la chica de la adivinación mencionada anteriormente siguió a Pablo y proclamó que Jesús era "un camino" para Dios (griego). Primero, Jesús no es simplemente un camino a Dios, sino el único camino a Dios (Jn. 14: 6; Hechos 4:12; 1 Jn. 5:12).

En segundo lugar, solo porque alguien habla de Jesús mientras se involucra en la maldad (como practicar la magia), no hace que él o sus prácticas sean menos perversas o abominables ante los ojos de Dios. No hay tal cosa como un cristiano involucrado en lo oculto. Conocí a un joven de Haití que practicaba vudú y habló de sus poderes y cómo estos espíritus le contaron acerca de Jesús. Desde lo más profundo de tu corazón, clama a JESÚS para que te salve, te libere y te limpie de todos tus pecados. QUEMA todos sus libros, materiales, parafernalia, vudú y brujería, etc.

"Un número que había practicado la brujería juntó sus rollos y los quemó públicamente. Cuando calcularon el valor de los rollos, el total llegó a cincuenta mil dracmas". (Hechos 19:19)

The Anti-Christ's Mark Of The Beast Is Not A Social Security Number, National ID Card, Vaccine Or Anything Of The Kind, As Many Christians Believe

The Book of Revelation paints a picture that has been the subject of all kinds of speculation by the Christian Church throughout history. To discover the truth, Christians need only to turn to Scripture.

Today, with the advent of modern technology, conspiracy theories spread across the globe at lightning speed. This is especially true in regards to the conjecture surrounding the anti-Christ and the "mark of the beast" as related in Revelation. Many have stated that the mark refers to social security numbers, national ID cards or might even be delivered through vaccines. None of this is true says Dan Corner, Director of Evangelical Outreach. He recently had this to say:

As technology continues to advance and as we persist in hearing of wars and rumors of wars that Jesus warned about in Mt. 24:6, certainly many will wrongly think that the infamous mark of the beast is already out before it actually comes into existence. Such a view has also led to an unfounded anti-Christ conspiracy. The truth is, as of July 2019, neither the anti-Christ, nor the mark of the beast is here yet, even though the technology may be available for the mark. As you can be assured that one day the antichrist will be in global control, you can equally be certain that the mark of the beast will be issued on a worldwide scale at that same time. For this to occur, globalism will indeed lead to a one world government/organization led by the anti-Christ himself.

According to the Scriptures, the mark of the beast is received on the right hand or forehead. With modern technology, it is very possible that this mark may be directly linked to the RFID computer chip; whether it is or not, everyone who is living immediately before the return of Christ will be forced to take this mark in order to buy or sell anything.

Furthermore, the mark of the beast is a mark which refers to the anti-Christ, who is called the beast in Revelation. In fact, to be more precise, it is the number or name of this vile person who will get his power from the devil himself.

Please know that the mark of the beast is not any of the following: it is not the social security number nor is it the national ID card; it is not Sunday worship as the Seventh Day Adventists believe; nor will it be sneaked in a vaccine or some other medical procedure. There will be nothing hidden or secret about the mark of the beast when it comes out.

Rev. 13:15-18 reads: "He [the false prophet] was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666."

Some people think that they will just be able to hide out from the anti-Christ in the woods or mountains, but even in the early 90’s there was technology to detect a campfire on earth from outer space. Now today, radar in the home can detect a person who is there just by his breathing alone; there will be no escaping the anti-Christ.

"If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God's people" (Rev. 13:10).

Hence, this Bible warning applies to Christians; Christians will not be raptured out of here before things get tough and the anti-Christ comes to reign. There is no pre-trib rapture, and there is no Once Saved Always Saved; do not be deceived by the Left Behind series and other popular false teachers who claim otherwise. Do not believe anyone, no matter how prominent or smooth-talking, who claims that taking the mark of the beast is a sin that can be repented of and forgiven like others; that one act of disobedience and idolatry will damn your soul to the lake of fire, as is warned in Rev.14:9-12 by God's angel.

Regarding "that day" or "our being gathered to him" (2 Thess. 2:1), the Bible says:

"Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction" (2 Thess. 2:3).

"Finally, please remember this: If you receive the mark of the beast you will be tormented with burning sulfur" (Rev. 14:9-12):

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name. This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.”

You must not take the mark of the beast, even if you have to die, which will happen sooner or later anyway. Victory over the anti-Christ and his mark is spelled out in Rev. 12:11. Memorize the following verse and act upon it!

"They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death."

"Those who do take the mark of the beast were deceived by miracles performed by satanic power: But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur" (Rev.19:20).

"But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast" (Heb. 3:6).

"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell" (Mt. 28).

"For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain" (Phil. 1:21).

Fear God more than the anti-Christ; he is only a man who will one day be thrown into the lake of fire (Rev. 19:20 cf. 20:10)! Instead, strive to be faithful to the very end to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Satan, the Devil And His Demons Are A Spiritual Test, Contrary To The Beliefs Of Many Christian Churches And Christian Organizations

Some Satanists deny the very existence of God, while others allow for God but believe Him to be weaker. Most Christian Churches allow for a powerful God but a much weaker Satan. What is true?

For centuries mankind has been debating why God might allow Satan to exist. Is there an underworld? If so, is Satan the ruler of that dark place? Or is it all just a myth? Dan Corner, Director of Evangelical Outreach recently had this to say:

Part of reality is spiritual reality. Just because you cannot see something with the naked eye, does not mean that it does not exist. The spiritual world influences the natural realm. God is real, but so is the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Eph. 6:12).

Unlike many people believe, the devil is NOT: (1) God’s equally powerful counterpart, (2) the ruler of the underworld, (3) a myth or (4) merely the symbol or personification of evil. The devil is indeed a REAL spirit being with a personality, emotions, intellect and will, and he is not in the lake of fire yet (Rev. 20:10). In fact, the Lord Jesus dialogued with him (Mt. 4:3-11). Showcasing the wicked character of this relentless, scheming arch enemy of mankind are some of his names and titles: Satan, the dragon, the serpent, the father of lies, the god of this age, prince of the power of the air (TV, radio anyone?), the tempter, the adversary or enemy, Lucifer (meaning bearer of light), the avenger, the false accuser of the brethren, and Beelzebub, the prince of demons (Rev.12:9, Jn. 8:44, 2 Cor. 4:4, Eph. 2:2, Mt. 4:3, 1 Pet.5:8, 2 Cor. 11:14, Psa. 8:2 and Rev. 12:10, Mt. 12:27, and Lk. 11:15).

God could get rid of the devil now if he wanted, but he is allowing the devil to roam freely around the earth among us which is part of our spiritual test (James 1:12). God is a testing God (1 Thess. 2:4; etc.), and he wants us to overcome the works of the devil, our sinful nature and the world, which we can only do with God’s help and his enabling grace.

"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings" (1 Peter 5:8-9).

We must continue to heed these warnings and submit to Jesus until the very end of our life (Rom. 11:19-22; Col. 1:23; Heb. 3:14); these warnings were written to Christians as the devil already has the rest the world under his control: “…and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (2 Tim. 2:26).

Satan has one main goal for you and your family and friends – to devour you; that includes various, serious problems in this life and damnation in eternal fire afterwards! He gives us thoughts and temptations; if the thoughts and suggestions coming into your mind do not align themselves to obedience to God's Word, they are from the Tempter! Do not entertain them; to "resist" these thoughts is to resist the devil. "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). 

There are many ways in which demons can deceive people, but the more common ones are through occult involvement such as astrology, Ouija boards, fortune-telling, seances, etc.  Dear reader, if you have ever dabbled with such, ask God to forgive you and renounce all such behavior.

Know that the devil can also formulate deceptive religious teachings to mislead you away from God (1 Tim. 4:1).  The deceiver is behind many miracles, visions, dreams, and near death experiences. "The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons" (1 Tim. 4:1).

The devil can even quote scripture as we see when he tempted Jesus in the desert. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." (Mt. 4:6).

However, when the Father of Lies (as do his servants) quotes Scripture, it is distorted and used out of context in order to lead us astray. To avoid getting deceived by such false teachers who quote verses out of context, we must consider the verses before and after the verse in question. Additionally, when trying to arrive at the proper interpretation of Scripture, we must consider all verses on the subject in order to get a complete picture.

We must be alert to the devil’s schemes. Another one of his schemes is to hide evil behind a beautiful facade or a blissful feeling of peace and well-being. The devil can and does duplicate peace which he does in both transcendental meditation and in Catholicism after one receives the Eucharist (communion wafer). "... in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes" (2 Cor. 2:11).

"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light" (2 Cor. 11:14).

"Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1).

"Do not give the devil a foothold or opportunity" (Eph. 4:27).

I've noticed in my Christian life, believers who let down their spiritual guard and who are unwilling to go to the extreme of giving the devil no foothold and of being open, faithful and bold about their Christian beliefs; they get swept away or they "fall away." They give the devil some opportunity to tempt them into sin, ever so gradually as it may be, and they turn back to the darkness and spiritual death they were in before their salvation.

Give the devil, the tempter, no place;
Slam the door in his scheming face.
Be faithful to God in your spiritual race;
Endure to the end for salvation is part of grace.

White Witchcraft Is Just As Bad As Black Magic – Harry Potter And The Wizard Of Oz Are Dangerously Deceitful And Harmful

Director of Evangelical Outreach, Dan Corner is a Christian author, former Pastor, defender of the Christian faith and evangelist who has had over four decades of experience dealing with the Bible.

According to Wikipedia, occult author Gareth Knight, "traces the origins of white magic to early adaptations of paleolithic religion and early religious history in general, including the polytheistic traditions of Ancient Egypt . . ."

There is a great deal of interest in white witchcraft even today. A Google search for the phrase "white witchcraft" returns over 50 million results. Many of the white witchcraft sites attempt to draw a line between "white magic" and "black magic", hoping to distance themselves from practitioners of the black arts. Research in God's word shows us clearly that "white magic" and "black magic" are both prohibited:

Is there any spiritual difference between white and black magic, or do they both emanate from the same power source? White magic (sometimes 'magick') has been defined as magic used only for good, benevolent purposes and healing while black magic has been defined as magic used for evil, harmful and malevolent purposes. The seemingly benevolent white magic is seen as a bit of fun and as simply a tool to create positive life changes. Below is a review on Amazon of a book on white magic.

Another more spiritually accurate definition of magic (sorcery) would be the partnering with demon spirits and the forces of darkness in order to attempt to gratify the lustful human desires for power, wealth and pleasure.

Indeed, the Bible makes no distinction whatsoever between white and black magic and tells us to beware of all forms of magic and witchcraft. Do not consult witches, wizards, sorcerers, fortune tellers, mediums, diviners and necromancers! Have nothing to do with palmistry, tea leaf reading, Tarot card reading, crystal reading, Ouija boards, astrology, horoscopes or white or black magic in any form! "Why?" you may ask. Because ALL of these are condemned by the Bible and are detestable to the Lord! They are not good, but evil, according to the Creator of this universe. In fact, you will become spiritually defiled just by seeking out such!

"Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God" (Lev.19:31).

"I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people" (Lev. 20:6).

"Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD ..." (Deut. 18:10-12).

"When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn" (Isa. 8:19-20).

God is jealous; we are to seek him and only him. He is also a testing God, and when trials and painful afflictions come to us Christians (as they do to everyone), our faith is being tested and refined. We are to go to God and his Word for help, guidance and strength, not to our enemy the devil and the forces of darkness.

We must be alert to the devil’s schemes; one of his schemes is to hide evil behind a beautiful facade and that applies not only to Harry Potter movies but others. In the movie, The Wizard of Oz, touted as a family movie, it is the beautiful Glinda, the Good witch of the North, who helps and protects Dorothy and her friends from the wicked witch of the West. When Dorothy meets Glinda for the first time, she exclaims, “I thought witches were ugly!” Glinda, the “good” witch explains to Dorothy that only bad witches are ugly. If someone desires to poison you, the best way to take you off your guard is to disguise and sweeten the poison.

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 Jn. 4:1)

Again, the Bible makes no distinction between white and black magic and condemns the practice of all magic arts, even if people are apparently helped in the natural (but destroyed spiritually).

"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness." (2 Cor. 11:14-15)

The Apostle Paul cast a fortune telling demon out of a girl by saying, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her" (Acts 16:16-18). When the demon departed, her ability to foretell the future was also gone! To reiterate, to consult a medium for guidance is to show yourself unfaithful to God:

"Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance" (1 Chron. 10:13).

It is also to be noted that the fortune telling girl above followed Paul around proclaiming that Jesus was 'a way' to God (Greek). First, Jesus is not merely a way to God, but the only way to God (Jn. 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Jn. 5:12).

Second, just because someone talks about Jesus while engaging in wickedness (such as practicing magic), does not make him or his practices any less wicked or abominable in the sight of God. There is no such thing as a Christian involved in the occult. I met a young man from Haiti who practiced voodoo and spoke of his powers and how these spirits told him about Jesus. He insisted his powers were for good. But how could it be good if it will drag souls to lake of fire, including his own?

The Lord Jesus declared, "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." (Rev. 21:8)

Voodoo, like fortune telling and all of the magic arts, will surely damn you. If you are or were ever involved in such an abominable practice or consulted those who are, you must forsake it and renounce it in Jesus’ name; you must repent. The spiritual power behind voodoo is from the DECEIVER, the DEVIL, who wants you in the lake of fire with him. There is NO such thing as good Witchcraft, even though it might be called WHITE, as opposed to BLACK (Rev. 21:8); it is ALL from the devil. Do not be deceived into thinking something must look evil in order for it to be evil.

From the depths of your heart, cry out to JESUS to save, deliver and wash you from all your sins. BURN all your Voodoo and Witchcraft books, materials, and paraphernalia, etc.

"A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas". (Acts 19:19)

Change based on the Bible, especially the New Testament. Put all (100%) of your faith and trust in Jesus for salvation. Turn away from all your sins, including all forms of witchcraft and Spiritism. Your eternal destiny depends on it.
