Award Winning Author Deborah Henderson Announces First Place Honors for Psychological Mystery Novel, Losst: The Indestructible Power of Love

Henderson took first place in The Authors Show® 2024 Book Cover Contest.

Award-winning author Deborah Henderson has announced that her psychological mystery novel, 'Losst: The Indestructible Power of Love', took First Place in The Authors Show® 2024 Book Cover Contest.

Henderson's novel is set apart from many others in the genre by being a story that is both vivid and immersive. It is a profound work that explores human emotions, relationships, love, and loss. It is both heart-wrenching and uplifting.

After the tragic loss of her father and then her mother, Samantha is left with a monster of a man and becomes a prisoner in her own home. At the young age of thirteen, she manages to escape.
With no specific destination, she hitches a ride north. She ends her journey in beautiful Sayward, BC, where she turns the page and creates a beautiful new chapter in her life. As much as she tries, though, the monster relentlessly haunts her in her dreams and nightmares.

Once again cursed by tragedy, Samantha's life takes a tailspin. This time, she loses her grip on reality. In a vengeful attempt to seek justice, she collects her hiking gear and supplies and embarks on an adventure that leads to a painful reality.

She is also the author of 'The Missing Pieces', a thriller that was an Author Academy Award First Prize Winner.

After twenty years in prison, Bobby is granted her freedom. With no recollection of her past and the events that led to her incarceration, she sets off to build a life for herself. Alone in the world, she cautiously tries to integrate back into society.

As she goes about her new daily life, the pieces of her past start exploding around her. Nightmares, flashbacks, and people she meets connect her to fragments of a frightening life before prison. Knowing that Bobby suffers from PTSD, her new friends try to help her put the missing pieces of her life back together.

“I write because it makes me feel better,” Henderson stated. “It's a kind of therapy, I guess. Readers enjoy my books because they realize that they are not alone and that there is hope. We can all find the strength to survive if we dig down deep enough inside ourselves. Do what makes you happy and never give up.”

Deborah Henderson is available for media interviews and can be reached at debhend29@gmail.com.

Both books are available on Amazon in print and eBook form. 'The Missing Pieces' is also available as an audiobook. For more information, visit her website at https://deborahhendersonauthor.com.

Top Motivational Speaker And Bestselling Author Rocky Romanella Announces Revenue As Strategic Imperative Article, First Place Book Cover Win For His Bestselling Business Book, Tighten The Lug Nuts

Tighten The Lugs Nuts: The Principles Of Balanced Leadership, took First Place in the Business genre in The Authors Show® 2024 Book Cover contest.

It's that time of year. We must begin planning now (if we have not started already) for 2025. Revenue is the lifeblood of the planning process for all of us, but there are many ways to approach this core component. In a recent newsletter, bestselling author and top motivational speaker presented a roadmap based on the principles of Balanced Leadership. In that newsletter he said in part:

I often talk about the importance of understanding who we are, what we stand for, and what we will not compromise as an organization and as a leader. So, let’s start there.

Answering the question “Who We Are” as it pertains to revenue starts the process and level-sets the organization and planning process on common ground. Never assume everyone can answer this question consistently. As an example, my answer would be, “We are an organization with Marketing and Sales Savvy.” I would define Marketing and Sales Savvy as:

* Has a nose for business opportunity.

* Broad experience with modern marketing and sales strategies.

* Has led marketing and sales change initiatives successfully, including developing new markets and new product/service intros.

* Has led the development of creating a successful marketing and sales culture.

* Has documentable experience with a sales team in the field.

* Has a history of growing the company top line through organic sales.

* Experience working strategically with senior-level marketing and sales executives.

* Understands how to develop compelling value propositions to support marketing and sales strategies.

* Understands the principles of market opportunity analysis.

*Experience with sophisticated consultative selling processes.

Depending on the size, complexity, and nature of the organization, you may be in various stages of expertise in these attributes. You may add or delete some of these based on your vision.

Defining who you are as a sales and marketing organization is not defined by the number of attributes or competencies. More is not always better. The idea is to identify the few critical competencies that will make the difference rather than every skill and knowledge set that may have marginal impact.

The trick is to have a Goldilocks competency profile—not too few, not too many, but just right. If you have too many competencies, it is going to mean that you have several “nice-to-haves” but not critical competencies. What we are after is to identify the critical few that really will drive the business and lead to revenue.

"What We Stand For" can be defined by our ability to manage customer relationships. Your list may be different. For me, this can be defined as our ability to:

- Work effectively with both internal and external customers.

- Know how to gather and analyze customer data to discover business opportunities, continuously improve customer value, cement customer retention, and develop competitive advantages.

- Understand how to utilize customer relationships to identify high-potential business opportunities and create innovative products/services that create a first-mover advantage.

As you begin to craft your strategic plan, we must clearly understand "What We Will Not Compromise." It is also a double-check on the question, “Does this match our vision and strategy, and does it correspond to what our people, our customers, and investors believe to be our strategy, and consistently reflect our brand?” For me, the biggest differentiator between us and our competitors is the superior customer experience we provide. During every customer interaction, our reputation is on the line. With this belief, these are some of the areas that would fall into my no-compromise zone. As an example:

Our Priority is Customer Satisfaction: Whether on the phone, in person, or via electronic communication, genuinely interact and connect with customers, ensure a positive experience, and exceed expectations.

Actively Listen to Customer Needs: Consistently demonstrate to customers you are in tune with their needs and are operating in their best interest. Customers know what they want but may not always explain it in a manner that is clear to you. Therefore, it is important effective listening skills are utilized. If you do not understand a request, ask clear, positively articulated questions until you understand. Do not rush customers. Allow them, at their own pace, to discuss what they need. Once customers have expressed their needs, confirm your understanding with them to ensure communication is clear.

Build Strong Relationships: Providing value and listening are key components of any relationship. The foundation of strong relationships also includes being fair to customers and following through on your word. Make sure to ask for assistance from others when necessary to ensure proper follow-through and response. Treat every customer how you would like to be treated.

Learn the Products and Services We Offer: Part of providing a superior customer service experience is being knowledgeable of the services we offer. Take the time to really learn our business so you can effectively communicate to our customers the services and value we provide.

Be Responsive and Effectively Resolve Problems: If a problem occurs, allow customers to fully explain the issue and convey empathy. If the fault lies with you or us as an organization, take ownership of it and apologize. Take the initiative to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.

Remain Positive: Always show respect for our customers, even if you find yourself in a challenging situation. Demonstrate professionalism and keep communication positive.

Express Gratitude: Expressing appreciation can go a long way. It can be as simple as thanking customers for their business and loyalty. Make sure they know we are grateful they chose to do business with us.

Creating a strong service culture is critical to your company’s long-term success and growth. It should be the desire of the Senior Leadership Team to create the Best, the Brightest, Most Informed, and Best Educated management team in the industry.

In the service business, people are our most important asset. The time we spend with our people is an investment in the future, not an expense or burden on our time. The time you spend gathering the necessary data to build your strategic vision and the time you spend with your people developing the plan is an investment.

Bestselling Author Jody Sharpe Takes Regional First Place Award In 2024 National Federation Of Press Women's Professional Communications Contest With New Novel, Summer Of Angels

As a former teacher of special needs children, Sharpe has direct experience regarding the effect bullying has on children. Her award-winning, bestselling books help readers find hope, inspiration and gratitude.

Bestselling author Jody Sharpe has announced that her bestselling novel, Summer Of Angels, has taken first place honors at the Regional level in the National Federation of Press Women's annual Professional Communications Contest.

Today our media headlines scream of unrest and division. In the midst of this turmoil, Jody Sharpe's books, reminiscent of the Hallmark movie genre, show us another way to look at our lives. She offers not just solace, but also a roadmap to hope. Her call against bullying not only condemns cruelty but heralds a journey towards healing and resilience.

The books go beyond mere escapism. Sharpe's words beckon us to a profound paradigm shift. They invite us to peer through a different lens, one that unveils the beauty amid the chaos, the kindness amid the cruelty. It's an invitation to not just read, but to internalize, to let the stories we immerse ourselves in shape our perceptions, infusing our daily lives with newfound strength and compassion.

Diane Donovan at Midwest Book Review stated, "Do angels come to children with special needs? In Mystic Bay, they do. As the truth emerges about the town's makeup, history, and mission, readers become immersed in a spiritual story of angels and beliefs that drive positive changes and kindness in the world and spread beyond the small town of angels.”

Books by Jody Sharpe include:

To Catch an Angel - Jody is also the author of 'To Catch an Angel', written in memory of her late husband Steve. In 'To Catch an Angel', miracles happen in Mystic Bay, California, the town with the psychic and angel vibe. Angels are calling. Psychic Maggie Malone returns home to find she's swept up in the miracle of it all. She can't imagine why her mother left or who her father might be. But these questions pale in comparison to the wonder of the angels. Maggie meets writer, Noah Greenstreet. They realize they've met before, but where? Maggie and Noah embark on a journey to find our world is all awash with angels.

The Angel's Daughter - A secret lies in Mystic Bay, California, and only two people know it. First, there’s Hannah, a tender curly-headed half-angel. Then there’s her father, Gabe, an effervescent, teddy bear of a full-blooded angel. And it’s up to Hannah to keep the secret safe, but she’s made a colossal mistake telling her ex-boyfriend and writing professor, Sam Blakely. Now he's written a book exposing the secret to the world.

Town Of Angels - Angel vs. Bully in the town of Mystic Bay, California, where a well-kept secret lies. Angels live as humans there. After angels appeared to three children, all was blissful in the town full of psychics, and ordinary folk. But as brute, Klaus Waxman, comes to town, angel Ken Leighton, a storeowner, must carefully guide his flock of humans not to give in to the bully's efforts. As Klaus opens a store mocking the resident angel sightings, angel Ken guides psychic Justine Greer, and her family to thwart his efforts. And with the help of the indomitable oldest psychic in town, Madam Norma, the bully meets his match through the soft voices and intuitive minds of his neighbors.

Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder is a memoir based on her twenty-five years teaching children with special needs. The book placed second in the National Federation Of Press Women's At-Large Communication contest. The book is as entertaining as it is illuminating. It's a love story about the special students and others who over the years graced her life with just that, their grace.

With hearts of angels and challenges to face, the children took Sharpe along their journeys and inspired her own life's journey of self-discovery. When sorrow came, their kindness helped her through. The synchronicity of events from high school to retirement changed her life for the better, turning her face toward heaven.

Midwest Book Review stated, "Sharpe's ability to see the good in circumstances and people identifies the 'special' in 'special needs' as she delineates her journey through the education system and those teaching and social encounters which changed her perspective and life."

"Teachers (especially those working with special needs kids) will find this spiritual and social reflection easily accessible. It's presented in vignettes which offer small, digestible bites of insight into a world where angels and kindness are present in more than one form."

Special Needs Children followed her recently released children's book about angels, When The Angel Sent Butterflies. The new book helps children understand that love from their parents and others surrounds them. Love conquers fear, and believing that angels are near can help sweep any childhood fear away. This concept is presented in the book when Angel Ken sends Jones and Kate butterflies. The book, appropriate for ages 2 to 7, is now available at Amazon and Ingram.

Her latest book, Summer Of Angels, is a mystery novel. Meteorologist and psychic, Gayle Force proves a force to be reckoned with as she moves back to her beloved Mystic Bay, California. While sleeping, an angel sent her a vision in a dream of a future event. Gayle realizes she must use her intuition to save an old man from drowning. But who is this old man?

With the help of intuitive attorney, Alex Knight, she finds they are caught in the middle of a future crime. But can Gayle and Alex solve the case and save the old man before it’s too late? With surprising twists and turns of intrigue and love, Gayle and Alex find there are angels at the helm as they help prove the bully never wins.

In addition, on the "Tuesdays With The Angels" section of her site, Sharpe presents stories of real-life encounters with angels. The stories are available at Sharpe's website at http://www.jodysharpe.com.

Sharpe hopes to create a collection of angel stories that involve sightings of angels, interaction with angels, miraculous angel encounters, and other types of accounts or stories. Everyone is welcome to submit angel stories. All submissions will be considered, but inclusion is not guaranteed. Stories may be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd.

Sharpe's YouTube channel brings all of this together, offering segments on all of these topics. One topic of special interest is bullying, specifically as it relates to special needs children.

In addition to the National Federation of Press Women’s award, Jody was chosen as a winner in the annual "50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading" Book Awards. She was chosen from a field of hundreds of authors through a public voting process.

Jody also announced recently that two new screen treatments of her books are now available: The Angel's Daughter and Town Of Angels Christmas.

Jody Sharpe is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at sharpejody76@gmail.com. Angel stories can be submitted at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd. All of her books are available at online book retailers. New quotes will be added every Tuesday to the "Tuesdays With The Angels" section of her blog, which can be found at her website at http://www.JodySharpe.com.

Guidance From The Angels Is The Focus Of Angel Inspirations, New Article And Video Series From Bestselling Author Jody Sharpe

As a former teacher of special needs children, Sharpe has direct experience regarding the effect bullying has on children. Her award-winning, bestselling books help readers find hope, inspiration and gratitude. Her latest book took first place nationally in the National Federation of Press Women’s award contest.

Whether you believe angels exist or not, in our culture they have emerged as timeless symbols of spiritual enlightenment. But why do they instill such inspiration within us?

Angels serve as symbols of virtue, beckoning us to aspire to loftier heights and embrace the noblest aspects of our humanity. Their presence, shrouded in mystique yet resonating with divine purpose, prompts us to contemplate life's deeper mysteries and ponder the boundless potential that lies dormant within each of us, regardless of our beliefs. Angels inspire us through the profound truths they embody—the timeless virtues of love, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Nobody knows this better than bestselling, award-winning author Jody Sharpe. She has devoted a major part of her life to writing about them. She recently announced a new initiative, 'Angel Inspirations', where she will present some of the wisdom she has gained as the result of her efforts. In a recent blog post, she wrote in part:

"Angels have surely been with me all my life. As a child I had shelter, comfort but parents who I couldn’t totally rely on. Yet, I made it through decades of living making good choices along the way. Where did the resilience come from? It was faith, faith in the knowledge of a higher power that I call God. Sometimes contemplating this gift of life is overwhelming. The knowledge that billions of people have lived before me and during my lifetime is indeed humbling. But I have been given the ability to write positive stories about angels. How?

"After my daughter, Kate, passed away years ago, I met a man I know was an angel. He comforted me with his presence one day at a chance meeting in a store and then the next day of my vacation, there he was again unexpectedly walking up to me and my friend when we were an hour away in a different town and store. His presence and meeting helped me through the grief that encompassed my whole being. He inspired me to write novels about angels who appear as humans in a town where no one knows the secret. My fictional town of Mystic Bay that I write about have angels watching and guiding people in town just like I’m sure they do in our lives. I believe they encourage us through unseen and sometimes seen messages. Knowing angels are near inspires me to be as kind as I can be in all life’s circumstances. To be resilient and have enthusiasm for life with no resentment toward others has changed my life.

"As I write my books I hope to inspire just one person to keep fire and gratefulness in their heart for the goodness in life."

The full text of the piece is available at http://jodysharpe.com/tuesdays-with-the-angels-angel-inspirations/.

Sharpe's message resonates with readers, offering a beacon of hope. She passionately champions the transformative influence of uplifting literature, which can provide a ray of optimism in the face of depression and anxiety. Her anti-bullying message illuminates a path towards healing and resilience. Readers will discover in her books a profound shift in perspective that will carry over into their daily lives. They serve as an invitation to view the world through a different lens, one that empowers us to find the strength within to see the good in all people.

Her most recent work, 20 Moon Road, An Angel's Tale, features a character from her Mystic Bay series, Madam Norma. Madam Norma is based on a woman who influenced Sharpe's life in a number of unforgettable ways. The book trailer is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaqJxbFTE1U.

Diane Donovan at Midwest Book Review stated, "Do angels come to children with special needs? In Mystic Bay, they do. As the truth emerges about the town's makeup, history, and mission, readers become immersed in a spiritual story of angels and beliefs that drive positive changes and kindness in the world and spread beyond the small town of angels.

"Sharpe's Mystic Bay series embodies hope, belief, the power of conviction and angel influences, and the acts of kindness that lead humanity on a better, gentler path. 20 Moon Road's revelations of relationships with Madame Norma that changed lives and transformed beliefs through documented angel sightings by special needs children makes for a warm tale of revelation and discovery that explores guardian angels, lasting legacies, and blessings.

"Libraries and readers looking for blends of fantasy and spiritual examination will welcome the Mystic Bay series as a whole and this latest addition in particular, which expands the nature, purposes, and insights of Mystic Bay upon the larger world outside its borders."

Mark Walker of Midwest Book Review said, "The last paragraph reflects the unique vision and mysticism, which exudes throughout this book:

As we fly away from the beach on a mission to help someone in need, I know what God and all angels know and what Madam Norma always shared. Only love can mend our hearts and our Earth. Only love can set us free. Madam Norma's life was simply made of pure love, for as she told me once, 'Kindness is the first ingredient of love.'

"I look forward to someday seeing the Mystic Bay Series on the Hallmark TV channel!"

Every Child In The World Deserves Kindness Says Jody Sharpe, Bestselling Author Of The Mystic Bay Series That Features Angels Living As Humans

As a former teacher of special needs children, Sharpe has direct experience regarding the effect bullying has on children. Her award-winning, bestselling books help readers find hope, inspiration and gratitude. Her latest book took first place nationally in the National Federation of Press Women’s award contest.

Nothing is more important than the physical, mental and behavioral health of our children. We know this, but young people today face a host of challenges that adults cannot even understand. Wars, school shootings, lockdowns, social media bullying, climate change and more. Depression and anxiety levels are at an all-time high. The mental landscape of our youth is navigating uncharted territories, demanding our attention. So what can we do to help?

Bestselling, award-winning author Jody Sharpe talked about this is a recent article posted on her site. In that piece, she said in part:

When I grew up, I knew angels were near. It just was a belief I held strongly and now that I am older, I still hold fast to this belief. I pray each day that 2024 may be the time the world takes notice of the effect war, bullying and suffering has on all the world’s children.

We are supposed to be children’s role models, their safe havens, their soft place to learn and grow.In my last blog I wrote, “Every child in the world deserves a wonderful life.” I sure wish I could shout out these words for all the world to hear. But my shouting is found in my writing only and as I write, I hope my readers make sure they teach the children in their lives kindness, nourishing them with the emotional fulfillment and love they need to grow into loving adults.

The full text of the article is available at http://jodysharpe.com/tuesdays-with-the-angels-every-child-in-the-world-deserves-kindness/.

The book trailer is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaqJxbFTE1U

The Children Of The World Deserve A Wonderful Life Says Jody Sharpe, Bestselling Author Of The Mystic Bay Series

As a former teacher of special needs children, Sharpe has direct experience regarding the effect bullying has on children. Her award-winning, bestselling books help readers find hope, inspiration and gratitude.

We are naturally appalled when we begin to realize what kind of world we will be handing off to our children - never-ending wars, schools shootings, climate change, social media, bullying - is this what we want for those future generations - our kids?

We can say the world is what it is, and it's a tough place to be. But that's the easy way out. We could instead believe in the inherent good in people and see these issues as aberrations - believing that there is something beyond ourselves that can empower us to confront these challenges with a sense of inner strength and fortitude.

Bestselling author Jody Sharpe does not merely believe this "something beyond" exists - she knows it. And she has seen first-hand its power to change lives for the better. She recently addressed this in several articles posted on her site. In those articles she said in part:

It’s A Wonderful Life has always been my favorite holiday movie. Maybe it’s because the theme of the film is truly about love and kindness and how it changes everything. In the film, an angel comes to change George’s life. George is a man who wants to end his life as the bully in the town has seemingly ruined the family business. Clarence, the angel, appears showing George what life would have been like if George had never been born. In the end George realizes his unselfish kindness to the townsfolk and his family has saved the business and that he really does have a Wonderful Life.

I encountered an angel once long ago when hope seemed gone after my daughter died. The angel, like Clarence, appeared human to me and comforted me with his words. He seemingly disappeared and I realized it had been a true miracle in my life. I knew then putting my family first was paramount. Life had to go on and my children needed me more that ever.

I believe we must give our children a wonderful life as best we can. Through the wartorn world now, the children must be at the forefront of every adults mind. The children are the world’s future. They watch us, they learn from us. They can learn love or they can learn that bullying, another word for hate, is okay. Bullying has no place in our world. We must nuture our children as best we can. Just as George’s town helped him thwart the bully with their kindness, every child deserves protection from the hate in the world.

I believe angels come when we need them the most. They come to us with a spoken word or a smile. Some angels appear human and some have actually appeared with wings to many of us. I know in my heart that the love light the angels bring us is real. It’s from a higher power, which is God to me.

In these times of trouble in the world, when hate and bullying try to dominate everyone’s thinking, I believe in my heart that thinking about angels and asking for their help truly can change a moment. I pray the angels will help all the children across the world. I pray for their chance to be free, for their peace, for their laughter and song to lift up to heaven. I pray that if we all visualize the world at peace, it will help all of our days and nights. I pray for a world where our grandchildren will be safe, where hate is replaced by love and the bullies of the world will finally see the light of angels and learn what I know to be true.

Award Winning Author Paula Paul To Receive First Place Gold Medal In Miami For Recent Fantasy Novel 'Wizard'

Paula Paul writes extraordinary stories that touch the heart and challenge the mind. Her works cross genres with ease and include historical fiction, literary works, mystery and YA novels. 'Wizard' was named a Gold Medal First Place winner in the General Fantasy category

'Wizard', award winning author Paula Paul's latest fantasy novel, was named a Gold Medal First Place winner in the General Fantasy category in the 2012 Readers Favorite Book Awards. Ms Paul will receive her gold medal at the Readers Favorite awards ceremony to be held in Miami, Florida on November 17, 2012 at 1pm. The ceremony is being held in conjunction with the Miami Book Festival International which runs November 16-18 at the Regency Hotel.

In addition to her First Place award, Ms. Paul was also chosen as a finalist for the 2012 edition of '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading'. She was chosen as the result for her appearance on The Authors Show radio in which she discussed this latest novel.

"Wizard is a book," stated Ms. Paul, "that deals with bullying from the viewpoint of both a victim and a reluctant bystander who happen to be the same person. It's a book that I hope will make readers think. I'm  exceptionally pleased for the recent recognition of the book, both as a Readers Favorite Gold Medal winner and for gaining me a spot as a finalist in the 50 Great Authors You Should Be Reading competition."

Paula Paul is a writer who touches the hearts of her readers but also challenges their minds.  She writes novels with both historical and contemporary settings, but all of her novels deal with the foibles, prejudices, misdemeanors and benevolences of humanity that transcend time.  Most of her books, both contemporary and historical, examine social issues. Although some of her novels have told the stories of some of the great figures of history, she is best known for her stories of ordinary people, specifically the people of the southwestern U.S. where she was born and has spent all of her life.

'Wizard' is the story of Merlin's 15-year-old sister Meghan, who is accidentally transported to twenty-first-century America.  She is happy to be out of Avalon where she was being bullied for being a wizard because females are supposed to be witches.  She finds modern America  just as dangerous in some respects for those who are different, and there is no doubt that the new time and place are confusing to her.  Since she's out of practice with her wizardry skills, she finds herself in plenty of trouble.  Although the book is written with a teenage protagonist, it was named a Gold Medal First Place winner in the General Fantasy category.

Paul's literary novels include ‘Inherited Sins’, in which a young widow falls in love with a minister who is married, and ‘Crazy Quilt’, her first literary novel. One third of the royalties from ‘Crazy Quilt’ go to cancer research.

In addition, Paula is the author of ‘The Kings Nun’, an historical fiction novel that is the story of Charlemagne's love for the nun, Amelia of the Ardennes, and an historical novel, ‘Barefoot Girl’, a deep look at a courageous heroine. Mysteries include ‘Half A Mind To Murder’, ‘An Improper Death’, ‘Symptoms of Death’, ‘Leading An Elegant Death’, ‘Deathday Party’ and ‘Red Wine Goes With Murder’.

Paula Paul will also appear on Book Candy TV with bestselling author Liese Sherwood-Fabre to discuss their books and their approach for writing good old-fashioned and gimmick-free storytelling. Paula will be discussing her historical fiction novel 'Sins Of The Empress'. Chat lines for questions and answers will be available. The show will air on November 3, 2012 at 5pm Eastern, 2pm Pacific.

Ms. Paul is available for media interviews and can be reached using the information below or by email at paulapaul7@yahoo.com. More information regarding the above works, and many more, is available at her website. All of Ms. Paul’s works are available at her website and at Amazon.com.

Profile:

Paula Griffith Paul was born on her grandparents' cotton farm near Shallowater, Texas, and graduated from a country high school near Maple, Texas. She earned a B.A. in journalism and has worked as a reporter for newspapers in both Texas and New Mexico. She's been the recipient of state and national awards for her work as a journalist.

Award Winning Author Paula Paul's Fantasy Novel, 'Wizard', Takes First Place In 2012 Readers Favorite Book Awards

“I'm happy and excited," stated Ms. Paul, "to have won this award, particularly because the judges are readers, not publishers and editors.  Those of us who don't self-publish have to get past the editors and publishers, of course, but it's the readers all writers are aiming to communicate with.  This is the best kind of award to win.”

Winners for the 2012 contest were announced September 1, 2012.  The awards ceremony will be held at 1 P.M. November 17 at the Regency Hotel in Miami, FL.  The ceremony is being held in conjunction with the Miami Book Festival International which runs November 16-18 at the Regency Hotel.
