Top Motivational Speaker And Bestselling Author Rocky Romanella Announces Revenue As Strategic Imperative Article, First Place Book Cover Win For His Bestselling Business Book, Tighten The Lug Nuts

Tighten The Lugs Nuts: The Principles Of Balanced Leadership, took First Place in the Business genre in The Authors Show® 2024 Book Cover contest.

It's that time of year. We must begin planning now (if we have not started already) for 2025. Revenue is the lifeblood of the planning process for all of us, but there are many ways to approach this core component. In a recent newsletter, bestselling author and top motivational speaker presented a roadmap based on the principles of Balanced Leadership. In that newsletter he said in part:

I often talk about the importance of understanding who we are, what we stand for, and what we will not compromise as an organization and as a leader. So, let’s start there.

Answering the question “Who We Are” as it pertains to revenue starts the process and level-sets the organization and planning process on common ground. Never assume everyone can answer this question consistently. As an example, my answer would be, “We are an organization with Marketing and Sales Savvy.” I would define Marketing and Sales Savvy as:

* Has a nose for business opportunity.

* Broad experience with modern marketing and sales strategies.

* Has led marketing and sales change initiatives successfully, including developing new markets and new product/service intros.

* Has led the development of creating a successful marketing and sales culture.

* Has documentable experience with a sales team in the field.

* Has a history of growing the company top line through organic sales.

* Experience working strategically with senior-level marketing and sales executives.

* Understands how to develop compelling value propositions to support marketing and sales strategies.

* Understands the principles of market opportunity analysis.

*Experience with sophisticated consultative selling processes.

Depending on the size, complexity, and nature of the organization, you may be in various stages of expertise in these attributes. You may add or delete some of these based on your vision.

Defining who you are as a sales and marketing organization is not defined by the number of attributes or competencies. More is not always better. The idea is to identify the few critical competencies that will make the difference rather than every skill and knowledge set that may have marginal impact.

The trick is to have a Goldilocks competency profile—not too few, not too many, but just right. If you have too many competencies, it is going to mean that you have several “nice-to-haves” but not critical competencies. What we are after is to identify the critical few that really will drive the business and lead to revenue.

"What We Stand For" can be defined by our ability to manage customer relationships. Your list may be different. For me, this can be defined as our ability to:

- Work effectively with both internal and external customers.

- Know how to gather and analyze customer data to discover business opportunities, continuously improve customer value, cement customer retention, and develop competitive advantages.

- Understand how to utilize customer relationships to identify high-potential business opportunities and create innovative products/services that create a first-mover advantage.

As you begin to craft your strategic plan, we must clearly understand "What We Will Not Compromise." It is also a double-check on the question, “Does this match our vision and strategy, and does it correspond to what our people, our customers, and investors believe to be our strategy, and consistently reflect our brand?” For me, the biggest differentiator between us and our competitors is the superior customer experience we provide. During every customer interaction, our reputation is on the line. With this belief, these are some of the areas that would fall into my no-compromise zone. As an example:

Our Priority is Customer Satisfaction: Whether on the phone, in person, or via electronic communication, genuinely interact and connect with customers, ensure a positive experience, and exceed expectations.

Actively Listen to Customer Needs: Consistently demonstrate to customers you are in tune with their needs and are operating in their best interest. Customers know what they want but may not always explain it in a manner that is clear to you. Therefore, it is important effective listening skills are utilized. If you do not understand a request, ask clear, positively articulated questions until you understand. Do not rush customers. Allow them, at their own pace, to discuss what they need. Once customers have expressed their needs, confirm your understanding with them to ensure communication is clear.

Build Strong Relationships: Providing value and listening are key components of any relationship. The foundation of strong relationships also includes being fair to customers and following through on your word. Make sure to ask for assistance from others when necessary to ensure proper follow-through and response. Treat every customer how you would like to be treated.

Learn the Products and Services We Offer: Part of providing a superior customer service experience is being knowledgeable of the services we offer. Take the time to really learn our business so you can effectively communicate to our customers the services and value we provide.

Be Responsive and Effectively Resolve Problems: If a problem occurs, allow customers to fully explain the issue and convey empathy. If the fault lies with you or us as an organization, take ownership of it and apologize. Take the initiative to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.

Remain Positive: Always show respect for our customers, even if you find yourself in a challenging situation. Demonstrate professionalism and keep communication positive.

Express Gratitude: Expressing appreciation can go a long way. It can be as simple as thanking customers for their business and loyalty. Make sure they know we are grateful they chose to do business with us.

Creating a strong service culture is critical to your company’s long-term success and growth. It should be the desire of the Senior Leadership Team to create the Best, the Brightest, Most Informed, and Best Educated management team in the industry.

In the service business, people are our most important asset. The time we spend with our people is an investment in the future, not an expense or burden on our time. The time you spend gathering the necessary data to build your strategic vision and the time you spend with your people developing the plan is an investment.

Exploring Baja in the 1960s: Earl Vincent de Berge’s Memoir, A Finger of Land on an Old Man’s Hand, Captivates and Inspires Readers Of All Ages

'A Finger of Land' by Earl Vincent de Berge is not just a memoir; it is instead a masterful retelling of a journey that unravels the depths of self-discovery and the intricate tapestry of human connection with nature and God.

Coming-of-age stories offer an exploration of growth, identity, and self-discovery. This is why they resonate so with readers. They describe a pivotal time in our lives when we seek purpose, growth, emotional connections, and perhaps even the meaning of life itself. Reading about the journey of others can also create a safe space to confront our own fears, dreams, and aspirations. They offer a look into how others navigate the universal challenges of growing up. They can be inspirational, and they can be transformative.

Some of these stories are in a class by themselves. They become touchstones for their unique ability to transport and transform. Earl Vincent de Berge’s memoir, 'A Finger of Land on an Old Man’s Hand', is one such story, offering a masterful blend of adventure, introspection, and cultural discovery.

'A Finger of Land on an Old Man’s Hand' is more than just another adventure story; it’s a meditation on resilience, friendship, and the inescapable pull of self-discovery. Each challenge—be it physical or emotional—becomes a steppingstone in the explorers’ evolution, perhaps reminding readers of their own capacity for growth. It offers a compelling testament to the human spirit's capacity for transformation.

The Baja Peninsula serves as both a backdrop and a mirror. It immerses readers in four explorers' transformative journey through Baja California in 1962 and 1964, inspired by 'The Forgotten Peninsula' by Joseph Wood Krutch.

Photography enthusiasts will be thrilled to know the book offers a treasure trove of previously unreleased photographs of the area.

One reviewer called the book, ". . . a beautifully written, fabulous tale of an incredibly brave and daring journey." ReaderViews, in their 5-star review said, "A Finger of Land on an Old Man’s Hand by Earl Vincent de Berge is the stark, witty, and profound memoir of four college students testing their limits on the Baja Peninsula in the summer of 1962. One could think of this as the classic literary assignment, 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation.' Only to do so would be to grossly underestimate this narrative."

Earl’s adventures in Baja deepened his youthful fascination with the Sonoran Desert and its plants and animals, and inspired him to write a collection of charming stories for young readers. The main characters are Big Ears Jack – a huge magician jackrabbit – and other animals, birds and plants of the Sonoran Desert and its coastal regions. 'Big Ears Jack and Friends,' is now available on Amazon in both print and ebook formats.

To date, Earl has also published three collections of his poems, 'Allegro to Life,' 'Swans to Carry Me,' and 'Wind in the Elephant Tree,' which touch on nature, human nature, love, desert silence, and life in Guatemala.

All of de Berge's books are available at Amazon and other online book retailers. More information, including an excerpt from the book and a PDF of selected photos with insider details revealing Baja in the 1960s is available at his website at https://www.earldeberge.com/.

About Earl Vincent de Berge:

Author Earl Vincent de Berge is an Arizona native, writer, photographer, and poet. With a master’s degree in political science from the University of Arizona, he founded Behavior Research Center, Inc., and created the respected and widely published Rocky Mountain Poll (RMP), of which he was Editor for 35 years. Earl’s photographs, logbooks, and essays reflecting on life experiences serve as foundations for his prose and poetry. He has recently published three collections of his poems, 'Allegro to Life,' 'Swans to Carry Me,' and 'Wind in the Elephant Tree,' which touch on nature, human nature, love, desert silence, and life in Guatemala.

Earl has just published “Big Ears Jack and Friends,” a book of young reader stories in which the main characters are animals and birds of the Sonoran Desert and coastal regions of Baja and he is currently assembling 'The Man Who Ate His Dreams,' a biography of a rags-to-riches businessman, artist, and poet.

Earl and his wife Suzanne split their time between Arizona and Guatemala where they founded the nonprofit Seeds for a Future to help impoverished rural women improve their families’ access to adequate food and nutrition.

Russia Intends To "Bury" The United States By Working From Within Says Elizabeth Graham, Bestselling Author Of From Democracy To Democrazy

The American people were deceived into believing the Cold War ended in the early 1990’s. It did not.

Elizabeth Graham had a Top-Secret Security Clearance while a senior in high school, and immediately upon graduation began working undercover with the CIA.  She later joined the SAIC's Foreign Systems Research Center (FSRC) for 12 years.  Eight of these years were spent studying Russia and Russian, and she managed the largest Russian-language military, technical and intelligence library in the U.S. She began to travel to the Soviet Union and then became one of the very few Americans to move to the USSR. She lived under Communism in the Soviet Union, then Russia, and Central Asia long enough to become bi-cultural - she became Russian. Her first-hand knowledge and understanding of life in a communist or dictatorship country – as compared to a democracy - is shared with Americans in her book and it should serve as a warning to all Americans.

In a recent article, bestselling author Elizabeth Graham stated the following:

From 1953 to 1964, Nikita Khrushchev was the leader of the Soviet Union and the First Secretary of the Communist Party. In his famous November 17, 1956, speech, he threatened the United States by saying “We will take America without firing a shot. We do not have to invade the U.S. We will destroy you from within.” This was 68 years ago.  Let’s be very clear, he was referring to the type of destruction, hatred, racism, lies, crime, and intimation/bullying seen daily executed by Donald Trump.

“History shows that disinformation and propaganda are terrifyingly potent tools in suppressing nations, creating mob (brainwashing) beliefs by deadening free thought and obliterating resistance. Look to Hitler’s Third Reich and the former Soviet Union, for examples. . . These are things our Cold War enemies hope to plan and then exploit.” (The Cold War & disinformation) The American people were deceived into believing the Cold War ended in the early 1990’s. IT DID NOT.

Today - some thirty years after Americans were told the Cold War era ceased and “we won,” Vladimir Putin adheres to Khrushchev’s philosophies.  And in turn, Khrushchev’s ideas, propaganda, government by fear, smear campaigns of foreign leaders, and distain for the United States came directly from Vladimir Lenin who lived from 1870 to 1924 and was the Founder of the Russian Communist Party. Lenin said: “democracy is for an insignificant minority and democracy is for the rich - that is the democracy of a capitalist society.” (www.marxists.org)

The point is that the Cold War era did not end in the 1990’s and the Russian denigration, condescension, and disrespect for the American way of life has only amplified over the years. Vladimir Putin was a child in the 1950’s (born in 1952) whose dream was to become a member of the KGB and destroy Russia’s enemy – the United States and NATO.

This is reality today in the United States. What we are combatting is not just those citizens who do not see the bigger picture or those who are illiterate or under-educated, but a foreign power who is bent on destroying our country and our way of life. Trump will be sitting in the Oval Office soon, but it may be Putin in command.

Donald Trump first traveled to Russia in 1987 and made many trips afterward. Due to his narcissism, his conceitedness, and his ego led him to (1) work with Russians, (2) be trapped by the KGB/FSB, and (3) accept large loans from Russian banks (which are all controlled by the FSB/Putin). Trump showed the entire world that he was hooked by Russians when after a face-to-face talk with Putin in Helsinki, Trump contradicted U.S. intelligence agencies and said there was no reason to believe that the Russians interfered in the 2016 election. Several years afterward, the Russians themselves admitted to U.S. election interference in 2016.

The bottom line is that Trump will say and do just about anything to save himself, escape criminal convictions, prevent KGB exposure of his Russian entrapment, and continue his moneygrubbing process of spending American taxpayer funds on his own materialistic lifestyle.  He has sold his soul and our country to the Russians, and most of our country are unaware, uninformed, or in disbelief. Many of this generation of Americans do not even know the significance and magnitude of the Cold War or the comparison of Project 2025 to Mein Kampf (Hitler/Germany) or The Foundations of Geopolitics (Dubin and Putin/Russia).

As of today, the United States has the fastest growing economy in the whole world. However, more than half our country thinks our economy is in trouble and Trump will “fix it.” In 2016, he survived by taking credit for the good economy created by Obama, and he will again attribute the excellent economy created by Biden to himself in 2025.

In the third quarter of 2020, Trump’s last year in office, our economy dropped 32.9% - the largest economic fall in our country’s history. This was partially due to COVID but more directly due to Trump’s spending. NPR published a report titled “3 Months of Hell: Economy Drops 32.9% In Worst GDP Report Ever.” This is the same man who has filed six business bankruptcies, has committed massive business fraud (business, bank, and tax records were evidence), is convicted of 34 felony counts, and was adjudicated and found guilty of sexual abuse and labeled a sexual predator. He must report his address to the local police four times a year, and people in Washington, D.C. may receive a message that a sexual predator lives near them. The address will be 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue – unless Trump will be exonerated for all his many crimes.

This is the example our nation has set for the next generation of Americans.

All of this information and much more is available in Graham's book, 'From Democracy To Democrazy: A Warning To All Americans', now available at Amazon.

In their review of the book, Kirkus Professional Book Reviews said, "Graham's new book is an intriguing and informative 'must read' from a woman who is probably the best-informed American on the terrifying realities concerning Vladimir Putin's motivations and his control over Trump. It is intended as a warning to all Americans."

More information is available at her website at https://democrazy2020.org/. She has a new book to be published in 2025 called The Cold War Myth.

Contact: Elizabeth Graham can be contacted by email at graham1elizabeth@aol.com and is available for interviews. From Democracy to Democrazy is available in ebook, softcover and hardcover at Amazon.

About Elizabeth Graham:

Elizabeth Graham lives in a quiet rural city in northern Arizona. She had 4 children and has 3 grandchildren. Her oldest daughter died July 16, 2016, while in Japan. Graham believes there was a connection between her daughter’s murder and the U.S. presidential election in 2016. The Tokyo Police ruled her death a homicide, possibly by poison, which is the signature lethal method used by Russians. There is more about her death in From Democracy to Democrazy.

Elizabeth was indoctrinated at a young age by her father who was a senior manager working undercover with the CIA. Her college days were in Los Angeles with the desire to become a high school teacher. However, she was destined to study Russia, Russian language, and live a life of Top-Secret clearances and undercover work. This led to senior nonprofit management positions and consulting jobs in strategic places like Moscow and St. Petersburg in Russia, all the former Soviet countries (15 countries including the Baltics, Central Asia, and Ukraine), Pakistan, Afghanistan, Rwanda, Bosnia, Peru, Brazil, and many other locations. In this process of living and working abroad, she became bi-cultural (American to Russian and back).

All Year Gratitude: Mistakes And Regrets Can Lead To Wisdom And Growth Says Frances Fuller, Bestselling Author Of Helping Yourself Grow Old

Best-selling author Frances Fuller offers an insider's view of assisted living and a unique outlook on aging, based on her own experience. Her insights are penetrating and deal with issues that many seniors and their families are concerned about.

If you have spent any time at all on the Internet, you are likely aware that gratitude has become a focus topic for many, many people and rightly so. Gratitude involves recognizing and appreciating the positive aspects of our lives, such as the people, experiences, and things that bring us joy and happiness. By focusing on what we are grateful for, we can shift our mindset from a negative to a positive one, which can help us feel more optimistic, hopeful, and content.

But there is another way of approaching this subject that adds even more power to this concept - being grateful for our mistakes and regrets. That is the essence of Fuller's recent blog post titled, "All Year Gratitude." In that post she wrote in part:

From somewhere I got a message ‘way back last January:

“This is not the year for you to get everything you want; it is the year for you to be grateful for everything you have.”

Because I wanted to quote this and not commit plagiarism, I looked up the origin of the saying, and I found it attributed to Phillips Brooks, in 1916. Before any of us clever people had ever been born.

Frankly, the principle expressed seems simple. Maybe you tend to think, as I do, that the truth it states is rather obvious and any of us might happen to blurt it out, half thinking, at some enlightened moment.

However, we didn’t, and our lives are full of things we don’t want as well as things we worked hard to get, and being thankful for some experiences is difficult.

Regrets hang around. I don’t know about you, but I did not get to be 95 with nothing but good memories. I regret some things I did, things I said, things I didn’t say, some mere blunders but some because I was mad or resentful or just weak. Sometimes these mistakes jump on me in the dark, in the middle of the night when I would otherwise be asleep.

However, this whole year I have read a lot of Richard Rohr’s work. He makes me think more deeply than I might otherwise, and sometimes I am thrilled and sometimes I am not sure I understand. Maybe I was a little bit of both (thrilled and mystified) when I read in one of his books: “Don’t regret anything, because God has already used it.”

Now there’s an idea I love! I want it to be true—that God used my careless word, my failure to act when I should have, my wrong choice. I know that God can do what I can’t imagine, but. . .

The full text of the piece is available at https://www.inborrowedhouseslebanon.com/all-year-gratitude/.

In 'Helping Yourself Grow Old, Things I Said To Myself When I Was Almost Ninety', Frances Fuller, an award-winning, bestselling author, shows us what that looks like. Some of it is not pretty, but she pulls no punches in providing readers with a closeup view of what it means to age well.

Unable to find a guidebook for aging, Fuller decided that she must figure out for herself how to live wisely through the puzzles and possibilities of aging, and while she learned she wrote. The result is thirty-eight personal essays, most of them resolves, promises she is making to herself and her family. In them she deals with such issues as grief, loneliness, physical limitations, fears, duties, and with the significance of her own life story. Guided always by her Christian faith, she tries to make sense of her own past and to understand her responsibility to younger generations. In the process she shares her daily life, enriched with memories from her fascinating experiences. Her stories and her voice---fresh, honest, irresistible---keep the reader eager for more. Her questions are universal. Her answers create a map through the challenging terrain of old age.

Frances Fuller's book is unique among the many books on aging, because it is personal, while most such books are written from an academic point of view. Most are penned by sociologists, doctors, gerontologists, even the CEO of AARP, and one by a Catholic nun, Joan Chittister. Chittister's book, 'The Gift of Years' is beautifully written, focusing on spiritual values and finding meaning in life. Chittister admits in the preface that she was only 70, which is the front edge of aging, and her book is somewhat abstract.

Atul Gawande’s book, 'On Being Mortal', relates medicine and old age, It enjoys high Amazon rankings, in the category of “the sociology of aging.” It contains a great deal of valuable scientific information and shows understanding of the physical and emotional needs of the elderly.

Frances Fuller’s book, 'Helping Yourself Grow Old, Things I Said To Myself When I Was Almost Ninety', is an up-close and very personal encounter with aging. It is an uncontrived and firsthand look at her own daily experiences: wrestling with physical limitations, grief, loneliness, fears, and the decisions she has made about how to cope with these and keep becoming a better person. She faces regrets and the need to forgive herself and others and is determined to live in a way that blesses her children and grandchildren.

Frances deals with many common, universal but sometimes private issues in an open, conversational tone. Her confessions and decisions invite self-searching and discussion. She tries to make sense of her own past and to understand her responsibility to younger generations. In the process she shares her daily life, enriched with memories from her fascinating experiences. Her stories and her voice — fresh, honest, irresistible — keep the reader eager for more. The end result is a book that helps create a detailed map through the challenging terrain of old age.

The result of this intimate narrative is that readers laugh, cry and identify with her mistakes and problems. Reviewers have called the book, “unique,” “honest,” “witty,” “poignant,” “challenging” and “life-changing.”

For these reasons it is a book unlike any other book on aging you will ever read. The book can serve as a primer on what lies in store for all of us, from someone who is working through many of these issues. While the book is a perfect fit for book clubs, there are many other individuals and groups who could benefit from the information and ideas in the book:

Those approaching retirement
People who are currently retired
Children of aging parents
Those who have lost a spouse
Retirement community discussion groups
Counselors
Educators
Life coaches
Church groups (men and women)

and a host of others. For group discussions, Fuller has made a set of discussion questions available at her website at http://www.FrancesFullerAuthor.com.

Readers have lavished praise on the new book. One Amazon review stated, "I find myself thinking,'I need to read this again and take notes!' It’s full of wisdom, humor, and grace. I also have committed to rereading it annually - it’s that important!" Another said, "There is valuable life experience in this book. Helping Yourself Grow Old is truly is a book for all ages, and one not to be missed." Another stated, "Beautifully written book telling timeless truths, for both the old and the young. Highly recommend this book for anyone who loves to laugh, cry, and learn wisdom from someone who has lived so much life."

Frances' prior work, 'In Borrowed Houses', has taken three industry awards and has achieved Bestseller status. Frances Fuller was the Grand Prize winner in the 2015 '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading' Book Awards. It received the bronze medal for memoir in the Illumination Book Awards in 2014. Northern California Publishers and Authors annually gives awards for literature produced by residents of the area. In 2015 'In Borrowed Houses' received two prizes: Best Non-fiction and Best Cover.

Critics have also praised ‘In Borrowed Houses.’ A judge in the 22nd Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards called 'In Borrowed Houses' “ . . a well written book full of compassion . . . a captivating story . . . ”. Another reviewer described the book as “Wise, honest, sensitive, funny, heart-wrenching . . .”. Colin Chapman, lecturer in Islamic Studies at the Near East School of Theology in Beirut said, “ . . . western Christians and Middle Eastern Christians need to read this story…full of remarkable perceptiveness and genuine hope.”

The Keys To Aging With Grace Are Available To Everyone Says Bestselling Author Frances Fuller In Helping Yourself Grow Old

Best-selling author Frances Fuller offers an insider's view of assisted living and a unique outlook on aging, based on her own experience. Her insights are penetrating and deal with issues that many seniors and their families are concerned about.

Some of us fight the aging process. That is a futile fight. Aging with grace, on the other hand, is a phrase that refers to the process of growing older with dignity. Aging well means embracing the changes that come with aging, and adapting to them in a positive and constructive way. Rather than looking at aging as something negative, we can instead maintain a positive attitude, cultivate good physical and mental health, and be inspired to find a sense of purpose and meaning in life. We can let go of regrets and past mistakes, and find ways to live in the present moment with peace and contentment.

Communication Between Generations Is The Focus Of Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein's Bestselling Ebook, Conflict And A Bit Of Magic, Available At No Charge November 19 And 20 In Ebook Form

Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein is a bestselling author and visionary psychologist and film maker. In the tradition of authors like Judy Blume, Dr. Holstein pushes the envelope in covering the challenges women of all ages really face.

The communication gap between different generations is an important factor in regard to building and maintaining strong relationships within not only families, but also communities. This can be fraught with serious challenges and misunderstandings. There are differences in experiences, values, and perspectives that can make it difficult for individuals of different age groups to relate to one another. Older generations have grown up in a time when technology was not as prevalent, leading to a lack of trust in modern-day communication tools. The younger generations may be more comfortable with technology, but may lack the life experience and wisdom that older generations can offer.

Members of the younger generation may see older people as out of touch or resistant to change. These negative attitudes can create barriers to effective communication. The fast pace of modern life and the increasing fragmentation of families and communities can make it harder for different generations to spend time together and build the kinds of relationships that lead to open and honest communication. If there is a solution, what might it be?

Dr. Barbara Becker Holstein, a visionary positive psychologist and award-winning film maker addresses this issue head-on in her bestselling book 'Conflict And A Bit Of Magic.' In this book, she uses fiction to address real world challenges in a way that is engaging for young people, while avoiding the “preachiness” of other books on the subject.

In this book, a high school freshman is facing a number of challenges, including a disappointing boyfriend and the fallout from a party. She jumps at the chance to visit her aunt in Minnesota and escape her irritating family, only to find herself drawn into a seance that reveals mysterious information about a deceased relative. Upon returning home, she must confront more mysteries, as well as communication issues with her mother. However, she also experiences some enlightening moments that help her understand her situation better.

The ebook will be available at no charge on Amazon November 19 and 20 at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Barbara-Becker-Holstein/author/B001JXEZ8U?

As a school psychologist and in her private practice, Dr. Holstein has worked with many children and parents, assisting them in developing skills in decision-making, self-awareness, and courage, as well as improving inter-generational communication.

She is a visionary psychologist and filmmaker whose unprecedented selfie films have garnered over 200 placements and awards. Her singular vision is to help girls build resilience, self-esteem, and discover their own talents, abilities, and self-worth. Dr. Holstein has spent decades developing tools and techniques to help girls enhance self esteem and resilience. One of those tools, a workbook for girls titled, 'Looking Good, Feeling Good', achieved bestseller status, an honor that many of her other books have achieved. The ebook hit the top of the Teen and Young Adult Self Esteem eBooks.

Dr. Holstein hopes to bring parents, teachers, librarians, grandparents and media together to accomplish one goal: Change in the lives of young people who suffer from anxiety and a growing sense of hopelessness and despair. She wraps Positive Psychology concepts in forms of media that young people find engaging, relatable and inspiring. These include:

Five bestselling, award-winning books (perfect for school libraries)

Five self-esteem workbooks for girls 8 and up

Award-winning films and coming of age selfie films

Podcasts dedicated to addressing resilience and self esteem

Dedicated websites

Stage plays

A library of articles

Ted-style talks

Dr. Holstein’s workbook for kids, ‘Secrets’ also achieved bestseller status in the ‘Teen & Young Adult Nonfiction on Depression’ category.

Best-Selling Book Beats Polls And Media Predictions In Unlikely Election And Call For Change Says Biblical Prophecy Expert Dr Richard Ruhling

Dr. Richard Ruhling Biblical is a prophecy expert and taught Health Science at Loma Linda University. He predicted war with Iraq before 9-11, based on Christ’s saying to read the book of Daniel.

“God spared Trump’s life by an inch and priests were anointed by blood on the right ear in Exodus 29:20, but perhaps rulers were too,” says Richard Ruhling, an MD whose interest in retirement is Bible prophecy. He predicted war with Iraq before 9-11, based on Christ’s saying to understand the book of Daniel when he was asked about the end of the age.

Daniel’s “vision at the time of the end” in his 8th chapter had political cartoons of a ram pushing from the Middle East. It angers a goat that flies from the west to break the ram’s horns (militancy) that represent the kings of Medes and Persians; they are now Iraq and Iran.

The goat from the west had a great horn that made the goat great. It was Alexander the Great in verse 21, but the Bible shows the end by repeating history.

Ruhling believes Trump is the great horn that makes the goat great in verse 8 because in Bible times, animal horns were used to make trumpets. Trump is the great horn as leaders were represented by horns in verses 20,21.

If we think that just an odd coincidence, how about when Abraham was tested on his willingness to sacrifice his son, Isaac? He was spared at the last moment by a ram that was caught in a bush in Genesis 22. George Bush caught the first horn; Saddam is gone. Ruhling says “God shows the end from the beginning”, citing Isaiah 46.

Isaiah 45 is a classic example. It names Cyrus and mentions two gates would be open. Cyrus knew nothing of Isaiah, but he diverted the Euphrates River into a reservoir and marched at night under Babylon’s wall to discover two gates open. Cyrus conquered Babylon with minimal loss of life.

When Daniel showed Cyrus his name in Isaiah’s prophecy a century earlier, and Cyrus saw God formed him in the womb [five verses earlier], Cyrus was so impressed that he freed Israel from bondage and even helped pay their return to their homeland.

Trump is engraved on an Israeli coin as Cyrus II, and his unlikely victory supports a belief that God spared his life and his purpose as Cyrus II is not yet fulfilled.

Less obvious is that his opponent favoring death in the womb lost in spite of millions of women voting for what they believe is their right. The evidence suggests that life begins at conception and taking a life is not a right, and wanting to change what we were made by surgery or hormones is destined to disappointment for many in retrospect. Ruhling opines that God gives everyone the freedom of choice, but our future destiny may depend on choices that align with Bible. He says God winks in times of ignorance (mistakes) but wants our choice to change as we see a time of judgment coming on our nation. We should all want to be better people and thankful to God for a free computer at birth between our ears.

Summary: The Bible offers greater insight to some areas of life than polls, politics, predictions and media offer while closed to the Bible. He believes we might live better if we spent some time with it.

For more information, readers can visit his website at https://HealthHappinessAndDestiny.com where Ruhling’s book, 'How It All Ends', is available in digital and audio with a high-value bonus. The book has 5-star reviews on Amazon where it’s available in soft cover.

About Dr. Richard Ruhling:

Dr. Ruhling graduated from Loma Linda University medical school and planning for overseas work, took a Masters Degree in Public Health. After Internal Medicine training and board certification, he also had a Cardiology Fellowship before teaching at Loma Linda’s School of Public Health. Attending a cardiology convention, he heard Pritikin reporting how a low fat, low cholesterol diet reversed heart disease and got 85% of patients off their drugs for diabetes and blood pressure.

Adventures in Avalon: An Offbeat & Quirky Adult Bedtime Story Comedy Ebook Featuring Cartoon Characters, Will Be Available At No Charge November 13 Through November 15, 2024 At Amazon

Part of their "Film on Page Series," Adventures In Avalon is another book from Bijou Entertainment that creates movies in the mind.

Bijou Entertainment has announced that their delightful, laugh out loud absurdist fiction novel, ‘Adventures in Avalon: An Offbeat & Quirky Adult Bedtime Story’ will be available at no charge in ebook form November 13 through November 15, 2024 at Amazon.

Intrepid ace reporter Ginger Marin discovers a lost civilization of cartoon people living in Middle America, in a town called Avalon in the County of Ligature-Upon-Avon … one of those quaint little communities that is somewhat lost in American space, neither here nor there but definitely somewhere. Her dispatches from the front lines will thrill and excite you as she describes all the crazy things cartoon people do when they think no one’s watching.

You’ll read the fascinating, slightly raunchy, true tales of the Avalon Defense Department (a.k.a. police department) where rock star police detective General Schnitzkof, a former British officer, and his trusted assistant, rookie cop WingWing, a rotund little dumpling of a “lad”, solve some of the town’s most absurd crimes such as these: “The Case of the Missing Member or How John Sir Gwaine Bobolini Lost One of His Family Jewels and How He Recovered It ... Well Sort Of”, “The Case of the Missing Haunted Mobile Home” and last, but certainly not least, “The Cream Puff Caper”, where you’ll meet some of Avalon’s worst offenders like that creep Mr. Parabolikos and murderous old lady Wiggins.

If you like the charms and craziness of South Park, you're sure to enjoy the cartoon community of Avalon.

Readers and reviewers praise 'Adventures in Avalon: An Offbeat & Quirky Adult Bedtime Story'. A Readers Favorite reviewer said, "Very rarely do I find a book in the humor genre that actually makes me laugh; however, I am glad that I took a chance with this book because it made me laugh out loud and had not a dull moment. I would recommend Adventures in Avalon to readers who enjoy a good laugh and are ready to explore the weird imagination of the author."

An Amazon reviewer called it "a book to love and to appreciate over and over." Another said, "You may need to buy an adult diaper before reading this . . ."

The ebook version will be available at no charge November 13 through November 15, 2024 at https://www.amazon.com/Adventures-Avalon-Offbeat-Quirky-Bedtime-ebook/dp/B01HFTVELM/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&dib_tag=se&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.wEqT-nuywbdgsApnzQmTtWemWcN-EHTMDnNyr4WG0tltzfhrJm5BtLfQSf23NQC5wf3XbMypSzaXozayS-ik4sUW5xvHjFn7KhajImRSvR09ChpRBq8lSt4lXt3qQmernKUlxLyry8eFZoGLq3Yd1IZsJiaZfM6yqwQGHcJqbfiEqQtkvA9dnU_KGFh_pSW2GMYfhXQ2q21I4-AEA2TfgpifXCMNaA-6y7EaYBuCFoc.w5fVoj5-w0vebSYITfhHpkesm_rmGyWdiTYlRTaybGg&qid=1730758195&sr=8-1.

Blending In – November 7, 2024
January 6, A Novel – November 14, 2024
Killer Politics – November 21, 2024
Blending In - November 28, 2024

All ebooks will be available for download at no charge on those dates at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Norman-Brewer/author/B0756KLHZM?

In 'Blending In', Book 1 in the series, readers meet Stickman and Maple, homegrown terrorists hell-bent on insurrection and bringing down the government.

They break the mold of terrorists being social misfits, extremists seeking martyrdom. Stickman and Maple are trained and disciplined. They hold down jobs. They blend in. They could be your next-door neighbors.

Except for being hell-bent on creating political upheaval and upending government. Follow these anti-heroes as they launch terrorist attacks on soft targets – a press conference in DC, an iconic mall in the Heartland. Hundreds die. With civil unrest and democracy under siege, fear grips the nation. Other right-wing extremists join their horrific crusade.

Can they be stopped?

One Amazon reviewer said, "From the story's beginning to the very last few pages, Blending In takes readers into the twisted minds of two vicious homegrown terrorists as they violently destroy everything in their path. Award-wining reporter and editor Norman Brewer, who also worked for the Department of Homeland Security, writes tightly with both authority and bright detail. For fans of thriller novels, Blending In does not disappoint. Characters are well developed throughout the story, with non-stop action that is not only lively, but also frighteningly realistic. It's one of those books that can be easily imagined as someday becoming a movie."

Another stated, "Author Norman Brewer has taken an almost documentary-style approach to this novel, and it works on any number of levels. It's more than just another good read. It grabs you at the opening page, it holds your interest from chapter to chapter, and it's (sadly) driven by the events of the world we live in, which makes it relevant. You can see the journalist at work here, weaving the story together through multiple directions and various separate strands. All in all, he's come up with a punchy winner."

Book 2 in the series is 'Killer Politics - A Satirical Tale of Homegrown Terrorism'. In this book a Trump-like president inspires a white supremacist to launch attacks on innocents in a ruthless bid to incite civil war - and defend the "American way of life."

Hoss, the supremacist, teams up with a "Most Wanted" terrorist to attack a rock concert, contaminate the food supply, destroy a reservoir and flood homeowners living downstream. People die. Fear mounts. A rogue FBI agent is in hot pursuit.

Razor-edged satire, aimed at a so-called President Tower, is "keen and stinging," one reviewer said.

Book 3 in the series is 'January 6: A Novel.' In this political thriller, democracy comes under siege when the President’s rally morphs into a mob and storms the Capitol.

Right-wing extremists take the House Speaker hostage, force a horrific standoff and unleash terrorism nationwide. Assassinations, bombings in malls and terrorist attacks against other soft targets inflame civil unrest.

The President weighs declaring martial law to restore order – and justify refusing to leave office.

Will we again face insurrection?

General Michael Hayden, retired four-star Air Force general and former director of the CIA and National Security Agency said, “January 6: A Novel underscores my worries that the assault on the Capitol could happen again, defiling our freedoms and threatening our democracy.”

In their review, Midwest Book Review stated, "Although a work of fiction, 'January 6: A Novel' provides genuine and vivid insider glimpses of what might come next in 2024 in real life. All kingdoms, empires, and nations throughout history have risen, flourished, and then fallen. America may not be an exception. Following a disputed election in 2020 and the possibility of an insurrectionist political candidate being once more defeated at the polls, the very real possibility of what is described in 'January 6: A Novel' makes it an unreservedly recommended addition to community and college/university library collections – and essential reading for those with interest in politics, terrorism, freedom, and the future of the United States of America."

Readers Favorite, in their review stated, "This domestic terrorism novel, January 6: A Novel by Norman Brewer, easily delivers one of the year's standout novels, brilliantly creating an alternative history with a chillingly plausible twist. Brewer’s writing is both polished and insightful, with great character development that is all the more impressive given the number of players presented. As a British reader who is ultra critical of political novels that scream about exceptionalism, Brewer was able to get me properly unsettled in a way that I haven't experienced since reading The Plot Against America by Philip Roth, or even the remarkable Sinclair Lewis’s It Can’t Happen Here. Brewer’s adept portrayal of "what could have been" forces readers to confront a nightmarish vision of how close the free world came to its downfall, proving the work to be both an entertaining and thought-provoking read. Very highly recommended."

50 Wanda Drive, An Action-Packed Novella With Dark Comedy Elements Will Be Available In Ebook Form At No Charge November 6 Through November 8, 2024 At Amazon

Part of their "Film on Page Series," 50 Wanda Drive is another book from Bijou Entertainment that creates movies in the mind.

Bijou Entertainment has announced that their action thriller novella, "50 Wanda Drive," will be available at no charge in ebook form November 6 through November 8, 2024 at Amazon.

In the darkly comedic chaos of this book, a yuppie housewife, touted as a hero for saving a cat, wages all-out war against two crazed dysfunctional robber-murderers who crash her celebration party and wreak havoc on friends and family.

Paige Martin's world spirals into danger amidst absurdity when her family's celebration is crashed by dysfunctional but cruel criminals Reed and Otis, two brothers whose philosophy is best summed up as "God Hates You. That’s Why.” What should have been a fun day escalates into a whirlwind fight for survival, complete with a war-obsessed grandpa, a significant cat, and homemade bombs.

As these intruders hatch a half-baked plan to exploit the family's connections, they're met with comical but deadly defense tactics courtesy of Paige with the help of her teenage son. The secluded woods become a backdrop for a circus of errors, with villains inadvertently sabotaging themselves amidst botched escapes, and an all-out confrontation that sees Paige evolving from an accidental hero to a master of improvised warfare.

“50 Wanda Drive” is a dark comedy with a spunky female protagonist who doles out suspenseful vigilante justice in true thriller fashion. The book upends the home invasion narrative, proving that in a battle against clowns, it pays to have a few tricks up your sleeve.

The ebook will be available at no charge November 6 through November 8, 2024 at https://www.amazon.com/50-Wanda-Drive-Ginger-Marin-ebook/dp/B0D4BFT91B/ref=sr_1_1?crid=MIL4QM88ED8O&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.BOkVrHfT7fa0YMY852ZUsA.1lbqlNPKLlU9B47WQtRafYWPV9es8tOuT6-l29hJVqQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=50+Wanda+Drive&qid=1730151366&s=digital-text&sprefix=50+wanda+drive%2Cdigital-text%2C99&sr=1-1.
