Heather Eaton, author of 'Encyclopedia Of The Divine, Spiritual And Occult', has been chosen as a finalist for '50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading'. Winners will appear in this years edition of the book. Eaton was chosen as the result of her appearance on The Authors Show Radio.

Eaton's three volume set is comprised of the main encyclopedic text followed by a bibliography, which includes a more detailed list of books (up to 15 for each volume) by authors described in the book as well as other recommended authors. There are three volumes of over 4000 entries including bibliography and webliography.

The main encyclopedic text includes around 4,000 entries. It gives a brief description or definition of each entry and tries to point the reader to the source of more information, such as books and websites or to other related entries. The people described in each volume, half of whom have passed on and half of whom are living are all people who in one way or another have spiritually influenced our world. Readers will find many highly educated people, as well as people with practically no education but with a spiritual gift to share or mystical message to impart.

"I am honored to be among the finalists fo r'50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading'," Eaton stated. "When I started my spiritual quest I started to keep a journal, somehow that file turned into a 10 year labor of love called 'The Encyclopedia of The Divine, Spiritual and Occult'. I hope that this book will help others understand not only the terminology and the definitions but the spiritual concepts and the higher truths that accompany that knowledge as well."
